Hey guys what’s up it’s ijevan how is everybody doing i am back with another episode of hermitcraft vanilla today we’re going to be working on this guy a little bit more uh there’s a couple things i decided that i wanted to do with it and um one thing was i

Definitely wanted to change the wood um just the orange if the orange was not there i would love it but the orange i hate it i hate the orange i can’t i can’t look at it i think i’m actually going to end up using stone for it

Because i actually really like the way that those two mesh uh we’re also going to be scooting it over one block um now i did all the redstone in creative just to make sure that i could get it to work and uh we were pretty successful i’m

Going to go ahead and switch over to creative and show you that really quickly so this is what i set up we have an extra row down in the middle here and all we did was we took the existing redstone placed a block down wherever

The uh the redstone here was um and then place a repeater and then a line of blocks so uh what i did was instead of having each line being the same you know same run the same way so like typically this line goes spans that way this one

Would span that way too i actually have them going in reverse so that they alternate blocks and it completes a full row uh and then we can just you know hit the lever and so this will give us an extra row of crop uh and allow this thing to have a center

Line which is what i really wanted all right guys so i have uh rebuilt it i also changed a couple things we had overhang uh by one block on the sides i actually decided to go with the corner route instead of on top of it it looked a

Little weird on top and i couldn’t understand why it was looking funny like that um so i know this is just like a basic house so when we hit this all of these go down and that’s where all of our crops will be all the water let me actually see if

I have any water buckets um i was trying to think of some way um there must be a lot of zombies underneath of me i was trying to think of some way to uh color code these to where i know what’s in them but the only problem is

Some of the items are the same color like carrots and pumpkins are the same color like as in uh so say maybe i wanted i would do like an orange you know uh like an orange dash across this and colored glass or something um i thought that maybe i could do that but

Um there really just isn’t enough room to do a pixel art there and that’s what i was kind of hoping to do uh so let me get this filled in really quickly the only thing i’m kind of curious about and i’ll actually need to make a hoe and

Test it is will the land stay tilled let me go see if there is actually one over here um will the land stay tilled when we uh hit this and it doesn’t look like we have a hoe here but that is okay we will just make one really quickly um

Because uh yeah i don’t mind like retailing every single time but that’ll get kind of annoying um okay so let’s just test it on this row right here okay so it actually does wow that’s awesome i didn’t think it was going to do that right so

Now that we know that we can tilt those there’s something i did mess up on that i want to fix right now is this up here um this should be a solid row of stone uh soap touch okay good i you know what confused me when i was tearing this down

I used soap touch for the in do you see guys notice that huh that’s weird um the breaking like particles were a little different um there we go so now that should look a little bit better yeah it actually looks like it has a frame now awesome

Uh let’s make sure we got all of it okay cool now now i realize it’s all stone and it’s like blah it’s bland so we need to fix this up a little bit so um first off you’re gonna notice i didn’t do a door i actually kind of wanted to leave this open

Um for a couple reasons uh mainly just that have it like a bigger feel to the entrance um so let’s go ahead and put this down i want to make some fences or walls i should say and i made way too many oops now um i guess i’ll just uh

Have to retill that up actually i guess i could just go right here crap let me just i should have grabbed the hoe while i was over there um i want to put like these things down the middle or not not things down the middle but i want to um where’s that

There it is i want to uh put lights in here because obviously it’s going to be dark in here so i was thinking probably right here i should be in high enough to reach that like that and then let’s go down so we did two over go right here and two

But i was either considering using glowstone or um um or like just a block if we use the block i’m not sure what block i would want to use glowstone would probably look pretty good i don’t think that i have any hair with me though let’s go ahead and make some torches

We only need eight torches because we’re gonna do it on all four sides there we go maybe we’ll just try cobblestone because that’s a different texture better like stone brick maybe but it kind of matches the thing down i might actually make those one lower that’s pretty high up still

Yeah let’s go ahead and make that one lower there so there we go oh yeah that’s a ton better come on and what we’ll do is we will put torches on all four sides of these just like so so they’re just kind of like hanging lamps

Now i can change this to glowstone if you want me to uh it’ll probably look better if it was closed to be honest with you there we go so that’s not too bad excuse me okay um i was thinking about changing the inside of here to either stone brick or

Wood i don’t know i just want to do some like some other corresponding textures um let’s see how this looks oh that’ll be super easy to collect all of our items too awesome all right guys i am back so i put glowstone down um got everything set up

There might be some little tweaks here and there here and there that i change about this like i put wood down instead i kind of like that um so i was just kind of going over you know what i want to grow um so there’s actually six different

Things i want to grow starting with wheat carrots potatoes melons pumpkins and sugarcane so we’re gonna grab some cobblestone here and we’re gonna start laying out the foundation for the rest of this i’m hoping that there’s enough room here um we’ll see though so i kind of want to

Keep these close so probably like right there i think i’ll be the next one um yeah so how much we got four seven um or we can do so there’s 11 blocks long one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven so we go three four five

Six seven eight nine ten eleven um we actually need to do four this way and then we’ll probably just do one space in between one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven there’s three oh it

Looks like it’s gonna work out kind of good three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven and then we’ll go looks like the next one was right there yeah three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven all right so there’s where all of our farms are going to be

Now uh i cleared the entire area out so i knew you know what space i’ll have because these are going to be pretty big um and then we’re going to work our way through the mountains here like our new base will all be over here i’m going to

Be moving by the way if you didn’t notice that by now um so back in here you know there’s going to be trees and stuff we’ll put all the trees back there i’m not too worried about that uh it’s just uh there’s some things i

Want to do to this and i’m just not sure what i want to do to it because it does look bland and i don’t want all of them looking like that i’ve been looking at greenhouses and they have like a lot of like little ornate designs in the glass

I might get some colored glass and do that inside of there and try to make like a design or something alright guys i am back i’m at zuma’s base and i never realized how much work he’s actually did here oh my god and then i’ll top it off for the on top

Of that like i jumped down there oh guys you have no idea so the first thing i’m going to do is i want to buy some sand from him um let me see right there i don’t know this fall right there there we go awesome i’m hoping the sand’s still in

This part um i don’t want to fall all the way down that would be bad um hmm i guess i’m assuming that these are all mod drops yeah i just i just want sand that’s all i want sand sandstone all right so let’s find out where he’s keeping his diamonds so

Probably right here right here yeah all right so there’s a diamond for you zuma i don’t remember i think it was eight stacks of sand i want to say oh that’s it’s done i don’t want sandstone uh sand um yeah i’ll just i’ll just take nine i

Guess since that’s a full row for some reason i feel like it was almost 16 though hopefully i’m not doing this right let me know if i did that wrong um i’ll just pay you some more diamonds or whatever now what’s actually blown my mind is his

Actual base uh like stuff like this actually gets me super pumped to play minecraft vanilla when i see something like this uh so let’s go ahead and just jump down here uh of course i asked him permission first uh because i wasn’t sure if he’d showed it off or not

This is what he’s been working on for a while i’m sure a lot of you have seen this already what the hell this is amazing like just the little details everywhere like all the little ores and things like that this is probably one of the better bases i’ve seen in a long time

Um and you should feel extremely proud of this basis zuma because you have done an amazing job my friend i love the top of it the most like this up here this is so cool looking it’s sort of like a replication of you know like the underside of his like

Wasteland but he’s got the leaves and everything and it’s such a good design so i can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of this base buddy and uh yeah i hope you uh i hope you prosper in many things to come i’m gonna

Head back to our area guys and continue work all right guys i am back i think there’s a kitty under my foot i i’ve been working on this area i’ve been trying to find the best layout for it and this is i think what i’ve came up

With we’re gonna have six greenhouses um each one will have a different item so like uh potatoes carrots wheat sugar cane melon and pumpkin decided that i will do nether wart in a different area mainly because i wanted to deal with potions and not growing basically i wanted to use colored stained glass

For each house i was actually thinking about ripping this white out of here and doing the actual house a different color for each one but it’s kind of a problem because things like melon and like sugarcane are kind of the same color so i’m not sure what i’m going to

Do for that i just need to find a way to kind of signify what’s in each house i mean obviously we can see but it would be much better to be able to kind of just like look and be like oh well that color means you know this and this

I’ve been building these things i’ve been running out a lot of stone though i’ve got a lot of glass melted as well so um this thing is definitely coming along we’re gonna have a nice little courtyard in the middle with the fountain and things like that so

Uh just trying to get the base things built first though and i’m waiting for glass to smell we’re actually going to kind of work on the pathway some um i want to make it to where there’s like a central line um and then in front of that central line we have a um

Sort of like a little fountain or maybe even that central line will go around the fountain i’m not sure yet um we’re gonna get rid of these there we go so my game plan is to uh bring these out i kind of wanted to slant them but after kind of seeing it i

Don’t think we’re going to need to do that um i don’t know we’ll see we don’t obviously have to leave it we can change it however we want so and then let’s go ahead and do this side it’s just because of how they’re like kind of shaped or not shaped but how

They’re laid out it’s gonna be a little bit hard to uh kind of decide how we want to do these there we go and then i was thinking about maybe uh going down the middle um even though if we did do it like this we could actually have a lot of room to

Do a fountain i might actually do it like that then instead go just like this and then that middle block right here will be dedicated towards the fountain i actually really like that that turned out really well even though it’s just like straight lines um

It’s very yeah and then we can have like a nice little fence over here awesome all right so uh let’s find the center area of this so we know that this row is the center actually i just got the center first try all right let me make some half slabs really

Quickly i need to eat some food okay what do we want to make our half slabs out of let’s make the half slabs out of wood for now okay so we’ll probably end up doing some sort of circle let’s try three first like this

There we go and then we can just do this for the corners yeah that’ll lag that actually turned out pretty well pretty easy to do too okay and then i don’t know if i have a bucket of water over here or not i want to grab some water

So i have a nice little fountain in the middle i probably end up getting rid of the blocks in the middle as well see how that looks that’s a nice little fountain uh let’s remove these and this probably change the blocks that are inside of this as well we’ll probably put um

Let’s go ahead and do that now let’s get rid of all of these okay and then we’ll replace these with wood well if it’ll let me of course try to fill in all these blocks um okay so we have wood uh let’s grab some glowstone and we’ll do a little pattern

Inside the water so there’s some light in there got that and so let’s see we could probably put the glowstone here here here here and here now obviously this probably won’t be the final design but this is just something temporary that we can do to make it look a lot better

Yeah i like that that looks pretty good so let me get the pathways filled in and i’ll be right back alright so i have the pathway done now one thing i definitely want to do is make sure that we don’t use any torches because torches are lame

Yo so what we’re going to do is we’ll probably use a daylight sensor and put lamps in the pathways and inside the buildings maybe even in the grassy areas i’m not sure yet but um yeah this is actually coming along very nicely let’s go ahead and get rid of all that um

Yeah i think i like that so um as we go you know i i don’t expect to do full detail right away uh and i hate this tall grass what i want to do is um here we go is uh just you know work on it a little

Bit at that time that way when we um there we go that way when we go to like do something you know we’re just adding a little bit more detail here on the heel here here and there and uh it’ll eventually just be amazing looking because i mean who wants to i

Don’t want to rush anything and make it you know have to go through and change a ton of items and stuff once we’re done so uh i actually like how this is turning out so far though right i got a little bit more of the glass done um i need to

Get more bone meal actually i think i have more bone meal i just need to just really do it i’m just running out of time for today guys i’m gonna go ahead and i’ll probably finish up all the glass and uh just kind of work on a

Little bit more details here and there one of the big things that i’m going to do off camera is all the redstone that’s going to take a little while because i have to dig every one of these out and place all the blocks and stuff so

That’ll take a little bit of time but otherwise you know it’s cool um i want to get some lights inside of these and um i might actually take this one out i’m not sure yet i’m not sure what we’re gonna do with the pathway i’m not sure

If i want to keep it wood or you know maybe change it to gravel i’m not sure yet so uh right now it’s a work in progress but it’s definitely shaping up and i uh i like how it looks um it’s good to actually get some structures done so um
