Get into the mind of one Ren dog who’s been leading me a merry dance the last week or so there are still a couple of Ren’s giblets which are unaccounted for but I have thought of one location that I haven’t actually checked yet a location that it must be of some

Importance to Ren because it’s really the area that he found himself in the Empire’s SMP in the first place okay I guess those uh daffodils have with it I should probably tuck those away uh find some to replace those a little bit later and down here in the

Catacombs we might be able to find something hidden in the grave of Rendog nope okay guess I was wrong about that never mind but wait wait hang on a second I don’t know if you guys caught that at the same time as I did but there’s something behind the mural

I wonder where this has come from I I’m not sure if I can reach it okay wait a second this looks like a nice piece for the costume box oh now that fits quite well a crown how long has that been in there was that was that hidden behind the mural the entire

Time you know what I might put those with the Roses back but this certainly isn’t a Rendog artifact and I can tell you that for certain because Ren’s artifacts were all named and numbered and they have this whole system this just says the crown I’ve not really

Considered myself the king of this place at any point during this series I’m really just digging up the past over here but you know what oh even with the bell ringing in the background sometimes you’ve got to embrace these opportunities as they arise you know sometimes you gotta be

King for a day and a lot of people are looking in right now for a thing that I think flip said he was going to present at spawn so maybe I can bring something to the table maybe this is the reveal maybe this is our opportunity Winchester to make a grand entrance

Crown with a a long and storied history you all seem to recognize it good good I’m glad we all have an idea of what objects are so it sort of wears a crown if you pay attention in history then you’ll know a little historical precedent about this Winchester seems very excited about this

By the way he really likes your craft I can set a rule for the empires judging by historical precedent I can set a rule if I’m wearing this crown and you all have to follow it what happens if we don’t what yeah punishments yeah I mean a nice rule how

Long do you keep the crown for I mean you just have it forever like what’s if he doesn’t have a head on his shoulders he’s not wearing it anymore I mean let’s let’s not be let’s not be too hasty about this big bunk slick flip you know

What I said let’s hear the rules first because yeah oh thank you to whoever supplied me with this I may be needing it but no the rule is very simple friends you all have artifacts in your empires of certain you know archaeological importance everyone’s got these special items here

And there and I would like each of you to donate one item of national importance to your Empire to my museum now no chickening out no no none of this like I’m gonna rename this thing and say like oh this is my first wooden pickaxe it’s very important I want the good

Stuff I’m looking I’m looking squarely at the box I’m looking at the fancy hats that you guys have I mean I am the king and the King occasionally demands tribute I will be a Justin benevolent ruler I just wanna just wanna look at some of your artifacts for a little while and have

Them on display in my museum Gallery do we have a deal not materialistics [Laughter] the museum is over at the ancient Capital any kind of like box you want to drop off there put in a chest put in the barrel shulker box whatever you feel

Like dropping it off in drop it in there and I will find it okay and it could just be anything of historical importance to your Empire okay you’re not having any of mine I can’t believe this what’s going on the king defends his subjects so now mine is the head that wears the

Crown and people seem quite Keen to deliver tribute to the museum which we’ll get to in a second but of course a king must have his castle and so I have slowly been working on a bit of a footprint for what I want to be the

Castle for this area and it’s going to be an old one it’s going to be a ruined castle of sorts it’s not going to be occupied and have too many things going on but once again I would love to have a few little hidden surprises here and

There and I’ve been working on an overall structure for this place it’s going to be a very big very ambitious project but I would love to see it finished so we’ve got a small gate leading from a large gate that’s going to be the sort of main entrance to the

Castle really it’s going to come up through this wooded area here there might be a couple of Castle outbuildings and here is where bits of the castle are actually going to connect to the aqueduct that’s going to be taking water I’ve decided probably over to the farmland and the Frog Light Orchard over

There almost like they’re irrigating the place with some fresh water from a mountain spring that the castle is going to have had control over at the time it was established more on that a little bit later for now though there are a bunch of different Castle Towers you’ll

Be able to see them from the aerial shot that I can get you of the place and then we come through to a large open courtyard which is where you know people might bring Goods to set up a market to be able to trade with the the Lords of

The castle I don’t know exactly who those are at this point it’s all kind of in the old history books as far as I’m concerned but once again I’m basing this on stormvale Castle from Eldon ring and this is where there’s going to be like a stockade effectively of guards and

People who are charged with defending the castle from Invaders and we can’t really do too much about that in Minecraft unless I want to put pillagers or skeleton arches around or something like that but at least we can kind of imagine that this is where they might

Set up the first line of defense against Invaders who dare to come through the main gate and from here I want there to be multiple ways to explore the castle so you can either kind of run around on foot and explore the grounds there’s going to be different areas towers and

Stuff that you can get into a few outbuildings things like that and then you can come through to this area which is going to be more like a training yard for the soldiers so they could all rush through some of these open entrances and out to reinforce The Defenders at the

Front of the castle that’s where there’d be a Garrison you know Barracks Armory that kind of stuff and that leads through to this area and a couple more spaces further down but if you go back to the main Courtyard there’s also going to be effectively a front door to the

Castle which would be pretty heavily guarded but for the most part this staircase to the entrance hall is really going to be your direct route through the castle to there’s going to be an entrance hall long entrance hall down here maybe with like you know paintings

Of the Lords and Ladies hanging from the walls and then eventually you get down here to the Great Hall which is where you’d have feasting and all sorts of stuff so that’s got to be served by a kitchen and a pantry which I think is going to be these couple of rooms here

Just slow really trying to connect everything in different loops around the place depending on which way a player would want to explore and then over here off to one side this is where you get back into the area where the training yard and stuff was but if you head

Around here through a couple of side rooms or maybe there’ll be an entrance to it from here as well you end up here and this is where this mountain spring I’ve been talking about originates from I’m imagining it kind of bubbling up from deep below the surface so I might

Try and do something a little bit more sophisticated with this well outside of here but really this is where a lot of the water to the surrounding landscape comes from and to that end I’ve decided that in my Cliff Plateau over here I wanted to build in a river coming from

The castle flowing down over the side of a cliff and through the Savannah and that allows me to do a lot more interesting stuff with Landscaping this area which is something I’ve kind of stalled on with the town design element because there’s not really a great deal

To figure out like where would they build buildings like why why would they build a building in one place compared to another place and you know having a river means that I can separate it with Bridges and design a few things around that you know figure out water supply to

The town and so on and so forth that is about as far as I have got with the structure of the castle and I’m just going to be adding bits and pieces to it on streams and in between clips and videos here and there just to try and

Fill out the structure of it because it does have to go at least all the way over to here where it connects to the tower that has long housed my two nether portals and whether eventually it’s going to eat up the mountain where the carefully guarded calcite is or whether

It’s just going to you know stop around the edge of that mountain and kind of honestly probably dwarf the mountain in terms of the scale that I really want to achieve with this thing here it’s going to be a pretty large project I can also take the camera underneath the surface

Of this Plateau I’m standing on so you can see that I haven’t filled the entire thing in with blocks it would take a ludicrous amount of resources to do that even if I ended up lava casting or something like that it would take far far too too long so instead I’ve left it

Open and that of course leaves it open for redevelopment if we want to put in some kind of dungeon layer or some catacombs underneath or even taking further inspiration from Elden ring some kind of roots of an old tree that have burrowed down into the Earth and mystical and Eldritch things have

Developed around them that’s if we ever have the time which I’m not certain we are going to at this point in the series but who knows we might be able to sneak in a few details for people who want to explore this and come and find them in

The meantime I have a lot on my plate the least of which is the castle and the most of which is now being the king of the server so I think we should go down to the museum and see who has left some tribute at the request of my subject I

Have disabled the alarm system in here on the assumption that nobody is just gonna run on through and start stealing my stuff and the Deep slate emerald ore is still there the crown donations are arriving there’s also a chest right here which has a smallishbeans artifact a revealing potion oh interesting now this

Is this is a curiosity that I’m very interested in this was one of three revealing potions crafted the revealing potion revealed Jimmy’s true height to us live on his stream for the first time only one remains and this is it now that honestly is quite the opener for these

Folks because yeah that that is that is an important part of the history of the server the unmasking of Jimmy’s uh we’ll call it true form I guess so top marks for Joel there I’m definitely going to be moving that into the museum a donation from Critter City anchovies Cod

Oh there’s a book for this one as well I like this this is the Cod snack anchovy was munching during the formation of the Critter Council of Animalia it has been perfectly preserved all this time from mayor Lizzy well there you go we’ve got important artifacts from Animalia as

Well a crown donation who is this from The Shield of sanctuary really oh my goodness my loyal subjects have not been phoning it in they have been pulling out all the stops to make this Museum exhibit a Triumph and what I think I am going to do is probably move one of

These two exhibits out into the streets of the ancient Capital itself now of course we do have an exhibit that I decided not to move from its permanent location over here which is Cub fans ahead as we were dealing with the skulk spreading Menace and I think we could

Probably turn this area into a little external like field exhibit for the museum and allow a little bit more space in the museum for those individual artifacts which will either be in glass cases or out on display Like A Portrait Gallery kind of thing the fossil is

Definitely the larger of the two but Ollie’s megabase is also in quite a large glass case and I don’t know for certain how many of these artifacts we’re going to receive a few people seemed a little bit less than happy with the idea of donating something important

To them to the museum but I think we can probably probably take matters into our own hands if that is the case but we need somewhere for the Rendog collection I was considering putting it up there along this sort of balcony that I’ve got

Set up in here but I like it being in full view of everything and if we’re going to move one of these exhibits to make space for it so much the better and when it comes to that Rendog exhibition by the way I am still a few pieces short

But fear not word has reached the king’s ears that the locations of those artifacts or the artifacts themselves are in the possession of two of my server mate so hopefully soon if I catch either of them online we should be able to work something out it feels good my

Friends it feels good to be the king but I have something to test out because this world was recently updated to a more recent version of Minecraft and with the right resources we should now have the technology to reproduce the olays over there that have been helping

Me with a few essential tasks like chopping mangrove trees thankfully I still have some amethyst shards traded from the good folks of Animalia and I think the Royal coffers should be able to spare a diamond or two for a new jukebox and it’s been a while since I

Have attempted this so let’s give this a try yes there they go They’re dancing they’re dancing for us and with an amethyst shard beautiful the elaze can duplicate I wonder if anybody else around the server would be interested in the services of these delays and as a good and

Benevolent King maybe I could share the love around for now just to make sure they don’t drift too far away I will give this one a stick and we’ll give a stick to that one as well and that should allow them to follow me around a

Little bit and now I’ve got to find where on Earth I kept any leads in this place there we go I had a couple of leads in a spare chest in the catacombs I’m thinking maybe we can even take some of these delays further afield and use

Them to help us with resource Gathering so for the second time this season I have moved Ollie’s Mega base but it’s all reconstructed perfectly in there including all of the stuff that’s now in the chests I think all he has been coming through and sneaking some of his

Resources every so often but they’re his resources really so I’ve let him pillage the chests in there as needed as long as he leaves the rest of it untouched as a museum exhibit so that’s now here opposite the skulk Cub van head and inside the museum I have started making

The exhibit which is going to house both the artifacts I received from the empires and rendogs collection the Wren collection is really going to go here it’s 13 items so that’s a 3×4 and then one at the bottom there for 13. and so far I’ve received three items from the

Other Empires I believe at least those are the only ones I’ve found so if people are hiding them somewhere else then they’re gonna have to let me know but we have room for four of those I have more item frames in production I might upgrade some of these to Glow item

Frames as well just so that they can be kind of light boxed I suppose but anchovy’s Cod is going to go up in here and I’ll probably store the books in one of the barrels that they’ve left around here I’m going to move that and have it

Close by just so people can read the Allure of these items if they want to so the book for anchovies chord can go in there thank you to Lizzy for that one looks perfect in its frame The Shield of sanctuary of course deserves to be somewhere Central in this location so

We’ll pop that on there doesn’t that look good in an item frame I love that so much much better than having it on your arm where you can’t really look at it I think it’s absolutely great in an item frame right there so that one can

Be taken care of thank you so much to mythical sausage for that and last of all this is going to require very careful handling to make sure I put it in the item frame instead of throwing it on the ground and potentially risking breaking it forever the revealing potion
