What is it um fabulously optimized like a bundle pack of all the mods that could client-side mods that could make the game run smoother and look better we were having some issues with the ones that i installed last stream so i’m trying a different one today

And hopefully this one’s good so far it seems good but it does some weird stuff like when i’m not in the game you can see it’s like framy right but on purpose uh the mods it’s just if you look up fabulously optimized it that’ll have the list of all the

Stuff that’s in there’s a whole bunch of it’s it’s a whole whole slew of things that they threw in there to make the game run better and i’m trusting that it’s gonna work well we’ll find out but anyway people being amazing we got the hype train kicked off look at this

Right our mini hud and i installed some other client-side mods to help with the frames in the world and uh and it kind of ruined our our see-through glass right so i wasn’t satisfied with that we were actually having some hitchiness and stuff in the world so i actually went

Out and found a different set of client-side mods that can help with some optimization here in the world and it’s a whole bundle of them under something called fabulously optimized you guys can look it up on uh google if you want or maybe i’ll remember to put a link in the

Description there but now that i have this installed our glass is back to being pretty i love having the see-through glass so yeah if you’re wondering why things look a little differently today that is why because we’re running a different set of uh of client-side mods so i just want to

Get that out of the way because i know that was going to be probably the first thing you guys noticed it changed the size of my hot bar and also it made some things look look pretty vibrant i mean look at the sugar cane doesn’t that look

Pretty pretty awesome i think so um so you’ll notice some things as we go through the world here i’m still trying to decide exactly you know what kind of client side mods i like here in the world and uh we’ll we’ll dial it in we’ll see how things perform today but

For a long time and uh finally finally have a chance to work with them and i’m super excited i don’t want to say who it is just yet but i’ve been i’ve been seeing a lot of work that they’ve put out and uh been jealous of of of

Their designs like i wanted i wanted them to do my exploring the spawn design and they were busy for a while and they finally were able to tackle the project so it’s getting worked on and i’m excited i can’t wait to be able to show you guys i’ve got some rough sketches already

From them and it looks awesome it looks so cool i’m gonna be i’m gonna it’s my next favorite shirt i’m sure it’s the exploring is fun all right i guess we’ll just lay down some more of this polish flooring do it has some more that’s what i’m saying we’re gonna have

Uh we’re gonna have exploring this fun merch eventually um you know they’re working on it that’s the one thing i’ve always i’ve always tried to be careful of with any artists you know anytime i commission artists for any kind of anything really is uh i really like to try to respect their

Timetable because i know that you can’t rush creativity right you don’t want to force you don’t want to force an artist to feel like they have to just get it done quickly because then you know you can’t rush you can’t rush art am i right is there artist is there any

Artist in chat that can attest to that it’s kind of like me trying to force myself to be creative when i’m not really in a creative space i i know from from history like me saying you have to have a video out by friday and then at the same time not

Having any good ideas and then just forcing a video that never really never really came to a good idea from a creativity standpoint it’s much better to just like not put a timetable on on creativity and then let let things come natural right and so that’s why i try to respect that

With any kind of artist that i would commission to do anything yeah forcing it would not yield good results because you kind of stifled creativity at that point as a as a person that you know is constantly put under the pressure to continue to be creative with the videos i make and things

The more pressure i put on myself to be creative the less creative i am for me creativity comes when when i least expect it when i’m not trying to force any anything you know all right so we’re gonna have two different types of storage this is one

Of them right here eventually it’s gonna be a bunch of redstone i’m not sure how much space it’s gonna need so i’m almost thinking i should leave i should leave a nice size gap right here you know at least three before i start any kind of

And some things i want to do there so yeah i just i i could not for the life of me sleep and uh i just i ended up not getting going back sleep at all i got up so yesterday i was up since 3am after five hours of sleep

And i was feeling it i was i was definitely feeling it i drank coffee before the before the skyblock stream and and that seemed to help like i got through that stream without feeling off or tired but maybe that’s part of why i’m feeling a little off today maybe i still have

Some like residual effects of of that loss of sleep covered long-haul or insomnia no i didn’t i never got covered so i don’t think it has anything to do with that all right i shouldn’t say never i haven’t yet i feel like you know we’re not out of the woods so

Um i came back down here to make a list of everything we needed so we’re gonna be storing all this stuff right in fact let me just let me just do this let me just put it in my hot bar because this is a lot of different stuff

And probably by like what we need the most if these are the things we need the most string probably wins okay and then at that point the rest is kind of like onesie twosie stuff right like our our witch drops give us this these are our random witch drops

Because i was confused at first too i totally forgot so that’s how we got those so the more more will come in spider that won’t come from spiders because i don’t manually kill spiders all right so then we’re gonna have this so what’s gonna happen here is it’s gonna be like that

And then like that okay so these are our chests that we need one two three four five six seven eight that’s what i needed to know spider eyes only come from spiders if you kill them personally if in our system they’re dropping to their death it doesn’t drop spider eyes

Up on the fact that you got to put in 41 items into these sorting systems oh i think enough carrots um right stops 41. so like a lot of people get hung up on like oh there’s no way i’m putting 41 diamonds in my sorter right and there’s options

Right so the way this works is it’s an overflow proof meaning that like if if the chest fills up completely and this hopper fills up completely that it’s not going to start backing up into here and then like causing a bleed over of signal that’s why that 41 is crucial that’s why

It’s crucial to keep in exactly one filter item so that this can never go above uh the full count like 64 plus these 468. if it ever goes up to 69 items then this this will bleed over and break the filter next to it so that’s there’s a reason for it if you

Want overflow proof if if you didn’t if you were doing diamonds or something then you could easily just put more items in your filter slots and have one diamond in here if you wanted but at that point if you ever had an overflow of diamonds which is probably unlikely

Uh it would it would break potentially break the system so you know that’s the trade-off i suppose but anybody could do that like if i did a filter for diamonds and i had this many chests i think i would probably just add more filter items because there’s no way i’m

Ever gonna have an overflow of that many diamonds you know it’s tough to explain that stuff especially in a tutorial so i get that question a lot like that’s the number one gripe about my sorter is that it takes so many items i do want to finish filling up the carrots

Did you hear your piglin xp farm is being patched oh are they going to get rid of the piglen uh piglen agro stuff zombified piglet getting aggroed and aggro chaining and actually getting xp from it are they really getting rid of it if you don’t have 41 of something you

Probably don’t need to sort it in the first place that’s true i could see why i mean it did seem a little odd for you to get like aggro credit for you know what i mean and they are pretty powerful pretty powerful xp farms

Space here for like a very simple redstone clock um what i need to do oh this is actually perfect because when i break this a whole bunch of items will go into the system right right or it may it may come back at us okay well

It would go into the system if we did uh what can we do well there’s a catch-all down there right so we could do this and then just uh what is it shift q right no control q control q there we go let’s control q all this into the water flow

Was there a crafting table under the stairs maybe putting a composter on there actually reduces lag because um blocks with inventory which composters technically have um it makes somehow the processing in the hopper is like completely different when you put a block with inventory so like

You could put a furnace you could put a chest but like all those actually do cause lag in themselves but composters don’t is the way i understand it so compost is like the best way of uh putting of reducing some lag caused by hoppers if you can put them in there

Stops the hopper from constantly checking for items above it exactly yeah even if there was a solid block above it right it would try to see if it could suck items through like blocks that aren’t full size or something so kind of makes sense in fact what i’m gonna do now is

Make a few more composters why not and then we do need to wrap things up soon guys it’s uh we’re well over well over time today but i wanted to at least finish up hooking that part up we won’t have time to hook up the iron farm but i think it’ll be

Pretty easy project to start off next time oh good uh hopefully we start seeing let’s see oh geez uh hopper processing can’t keep up but we are definitely getting items in look at that go we’re definitely getting items this is a good way to be able to visually see that

Our mob farm is indeed working uh but i just released way too many items into the system uh because yeah it can’t keep up hopefully it catches up hopefully it catches up before all these like despawn but yeah we’ll be responsible now and try to put in these composters here
