Hey what’s going on guys it’s trekyt here or nick back with another episode of beige showcase today is episode 30. so i thought i would try to fulfill a lot of people’s requests and that is by building a much larger base so today i have a three level base that includes chest Drop chests and then it also includes a portion for you to put in a spawner and it also has a little bit of area for where you can expand and change up some things to a little bit more of a customization for you so without further ado guys let’s jump right into today’s Episode so we’re gonna start off on our first level the bottom level of this base as you guys can see by just looking around i really tried to mix up the block palette as best as possible the main blocks that we’re working with are these four or five blocks right here our Spruce our dark prismarine birch acacia logs and then that’s pretty much about it i mean i definitely try to window in a couple other blocks in there like our glass or you can see up there we got some blue clay but for the most part i really tried to Make a different theme and i it was more of like an aquatic-ish theme but one thing i really wish i had done though is if i had made the plot biome be a more of a tiger bio just because i feel like it would really add some really nice Pastels within the grasses but other than that i think that this block palette works really well with this space and let’s jump right into the beginning portion of the actual bottom of the base the uh chester over on this side chests are also over on that side Now they are protected chest and you could basically take these out and put something else here i left plenty of room you guys can see that i tried my best to make him as protected as possible as most of you guys know i don’t actually play factions myself so I’m not up to date on the best ways to i guess defend all of these ch chests within the base so that’s my rendition so you guys definitely can go ahead and change that up if you’d like i also want to let you know that there’s room back In this way where you could add other stuff and expand if you so chose i just went ahead and just made it more focused on the actual build and looking good so that means that i sometimes don’t necessarily utilize all the space that’s given to me within the base so this base Is a 33 by 31 i know the title says 32 by 32 but i figured 31 by 32 or 33 by 31 it’s close enough it doesn’t really matter that much so on the bottom both of these sizes or these sides over here are symmetrical so you can go up either Of the two they both have staircases we’ll go up on this one on this side so it’s a nice little winding staircase now i wanted to avoid putting any ladders in the space so that meant that i had to utilize a 3×3 cube in this area right Here and make a nice little spiral staircase and i think that the way that i did it by having these little areas out here made it seem like it was just that much bigger and it made it seem a little less cramped and it definitely i Think flows really well and it’s a nice way to avoid using a ladder because in my opinion using a ladder it just takes away from some design features that you could be possibly intimate or implementing into your build so this brings you up to the next level you can See there’s one staircase right here and if we hop across this glass bridge there’s another staircase on the opposing corner now on these corners right here we do have ourselves enchanting tables we have one right here and then we have one over here and i Really tried to tuck away and use a lot of the space on this level particularly because i wanted to maximize that 32 by 32 because though it is decently big it’s not as big as you think so like once you start making because when i started building this 32 by 32 base i Was thinking i had all the room in the world so i kept building in larger spaces like i made the openings really vast i made everything so grand and it gets to that point where you’re making things so big that you’re almost running out of space really really fast so i had To think of some creative ways to tuck away some more storage and some more spaces so along this glass bridge right in the center which i actually really like because it allows you to see the layer down below and it really adds a little bit more openness to the entire Base because if this was a solid block it would cut off a lot of view and a lot of i guess you couldn’t really see down below and it would make it seem almost smaller down there or smaller in here maybe as well so over here on the side i Added this little area where you do have to jump to it so that’s like me trying to be a little bit creative i wanted to be able to access this way over here but i still wanted this area to be hollow right here just because it does make it Feel a little bit more open so you jump over here you have yourself another set of protected chests and again there’s a lot of area back here as well so if you wanted this to be like an auto brewer or any other thing that you might want you Can go ahead and put it in here and i guess replace it with these protective chests now i think this area does look kind of cool we have a symmetrical one on this side as well you just quick jump up here and you have a little area up here I think it looks awesome i think it really does look kind of awesome i went ahead and i put these fences here just because i wanted to add a little bit of detail here i didn’t even have to put these there because it’s not really You’re not going to fall off and if you do it’s not that big of a deal one thing though in this fences is you guys can see i put gates on the middle of it that was because i like the look of it i think it looks cooler when if you space Out the fences a little bit more because that looks a little bit too cramped to me but if you add just a little bit of spacing in between i think it looks really really cool one thing you’ll notice from a building aspect and this is something i kind of want to it’s like A concept more or less it’s kind of flow like a flow within the base so when i mean that it’s it’s easy for me to just say those words but for some of you guys it may be a little bit daunting you don’t understand what i’m trying to say When i think of flow i think of connecting all portions of a build into or just have one piece or one focal point within one build that’s connected through all areas of that build now you may not be able to notice this right away within the space but i did this Purposefully you guys can see by using this prismarine it stands out from a lot of the other wood textures in here since it’s a brick texture and it’s a nice turquoisey color now the reason why i say it flows everything together is because it starts at the very bottom all The way down there carries up in an archway continues to carry up and carries up even more and the roof is the same color and that kind of ties all these three areas into each other and it kind of makes the bass flow really really well organically as well As it visually looks really really good so again we’ll carry over to the next level both of these sides are exactly symmetrical for the most part so there’s nothing missing that’s over there that’s on this side as well so again on this side as well these two are also Symmetrical so they’re two staircases that kind of just go up there’s not too much right here because this is where i was starting to reach the border of the base it was where i was reaching the 32 by 32 so i would have if i had more room Put maybe chest here or another little hallway to go somewhere else but instead i just carried it up like a staircase all the way up to here we added some creative little spaces for some drop chest you may not even have noticed this down below but the drop chest you can Actually see back here and by adding this archway in right here it really kind of takes away from that and that’s my whole goal is i didn’t want them to be seen as well or as noticeably because it does look a little ugly if it’s just random chess just hanging out in the Middle of the air so we’ve got drop chest right here and you can see we have a balcony right here that can look over down below so this is another thing it’s flowing through the whole base all three areas are connected between each other so that thing is something that i was Really trying to focus on within the space because it allowed me to have really really tall ceilings which also makes the build look a lot bigger than it actually is and that’s just something i like to vocalize when i’m building is make things larger than life per se and Just make them feel a lot more grand in utilizing the space that you have so using your best space management skills as possible so before we go up there and look at the rest of that i want to quickly talk about this wall and talk about the building aspect of this wall Now you’re probably thinking to yourself trek why are we talking about a wall so why i want to talk about this wall i’m going to take out these anvils i’m going to pick up my planks in my stairs now originally i had this wall looking like This now if you were me you might think this looks kind of ugly now other people may not even really notice now i see this as unknown are not taking an opportunity that’s presented itself this is like a blank canvas that you can add just the slightest bit of depth by using Some creative stair placement so what i did is i knocked out these three blocks i added a stair another stair and one more stair and as you can see it already looks way better than before just by adding that little bit of depth now i didn’t have to add that i just did Because i felt that it added a little bit more characteristic to just this one spot and those are the kind of details that i like to really look for and try to make areas that i think when i look at think wow that’s kind of boring Looking and i try to use some of these techniques that i’ve picked up on like this i you guys can even use this technique if you don’t already know about it adding stairs within flat surfaces to add a little bit of depth and i think it just makes this area look A lot better so i just wanted to give that quick little building tip to those of you that actually cared about it so heading up here we do have a little hidden water feature right here it has no real meaning i just want to again i Wanted to make an empty space that would have been a little bit more boring a little bit more interesting so that’s why i added this on both sides again this side is symmetrical drop just over here in the same staircase but up here we have ourselves the spawner that i was Talking about now this should be multiple different things skeleton blaze whatever you really want it to be but it is a manual grinder so it’s not one of those grinders that you just afk at and it kills them automatically like an ig farm this is more of like an xp Grinder i mean you can definitely grind materials like bones and blaze rods and all that stuff but i wanted to be able to incorporate that i the reason why i don’t really add massive massive grinders into bases like this is because for the most part you don’t really need To detail a massive massive grinder all this is a huge test room i mean i could add that but i just feel like when there’s really no reason to be honest with you i don’t think there’s that big of a reason because it’s not really something that you’re Really spending all that much time in you’re just in there grabbing your materials and then selling them in the slash shop or warping to the shop on whatever server that you play on so that’s why i like to add these xp grinders versus that if for some reason You guys really really think i should be adding those chest rooms in there definitely let me know down below because if there’s enough of you i will definitely try to include one in a future base and then on the back side we have ourselves a couple more chests this Is where you could store those materials from here i added an ender chest in the middle as well so if you wanted to grab some stuff to repair them since all these banisters and all these balcony railings up here are made out of anvils so you could repair things with the xp That you’re getting from this grinder right here so we’ll take one last walk through through the base now this is a 33 by 31 base like i said before but i think that it would probably squeeze into a 32 by 32 i guess claim if you really really wanted to now that Means you would probably have to take out one of the walls on the outside but it could be cute to make it fit down to a 32 by 31 i guess but for the most part i don’t think that matters too much since you will be most likely claiming a Lot larger area than you are just the 32 by 32 so i think 31 by 33 should work for most people so that’s where we’re gonna bring today’s base showcase to a wrap i hope you guys did enjoy today’s episode of base showcase i really wanted To try to mix it up for episode 30 just kind of do a larger sized base as well as mix up the palette a lot i’ve seen a lot of people commenting that a lot of the palettes are basically the same thing in every single build so as of Recently i’ve been trying to mix up a lot of my palettes and try to really develop myself a little bit more as a builder and branch out and try new things as should you guys when you’re doing your builds you guys should definitely try to do different things All the time if they don’t work whatever start over and or just go back to your defaulted thing that you know that looks good so again thank you guys for tuning in today the download for this base should be down in the description if you guys would like to download that Schematic if you guys don’t know how to use schematica i will leave a link down below to my tutorial on how to use schematica it’s not perfect but for most people it does work that video so if you guys have no idea how to use a schematica or how to use a schematic Link down below you guys can check that out as well the links to my twitter and instagram will also be down in the description i don’t really use instagram as much as i use my twitter i’m on my twitter every single day so if you guys Ever want to reach out to me for something it’s a lot easier to reach out to me via twitter because i see all those tweets and i get all the notifications on my phone so if i miss you in a
