42a the very first Minecraft 1.21 kind of snapshot and today’s video we’ll be taking our very first look at Minecraft’s latest greatest and finest automation machine combine it with Farms talk about building and even more this only be our first minutes with this autoc crafter but I already know how

Minecraft live and oh boy here we are Minecraft Java and actually I think it’s out of Minecraft Bedrock as well the auto crafter BL let’s take a look at this clean texture work because japa chwy whoever it was they were cooking with this one look at this thing it’s like a modernized

Course we got that clean gradient now what happens you may wonder when you interact with this thing well boom just like we saw at Minecraft live we have this interesting new UI right here if we go ahead and tap on these slots we get get like the the button clicks up when

We tap on a slot it’s basically locked so meaning over here I have a little Contraption setup it’s been running for a minute check this out if I have these slots like tapped right there then it’s only making this whole like 2x two Oak log thing so like basically automated

Oak wood crafting also listen to this clean sound oh yeah yeah yeah that sound plays every single time something spit out and by the way when it’s spit out it’s always spit out from the front watch that animation right there this like flips up a little bit it’s like it’s

Like the door levers or something like that right there and then like the mouth on it opens look at it I can’t un seee it there’s an eye there’s an eye and there’s either a big mustache or some crazy teeth before we get into advanced talk and trickery everything like that

Let’s reset to the absolute basic how would the world are you going to craft the crafter itself well slide into a crafting table with a crafting table little bit of inception going on here a little bit of redstone and a dropper Place Center in the bottom and there you

Go you got your brand new Crafter after you craft the crafter place it down slide into it and you get this UI all you got to do to lock a slot is tap on a tap on a spot next up check this out inside of the workstation itself if we

Go ahead and like try and shift click something it moves up to the first spot if we have another thing we shift click it it moves up to the first spot as well and that’s going to happen like with full sacks and everything like that now

If you wanted to you wanted to like craft planks yourself you can’t do it here I’m try to grab the plank and it’s just not working so this new autoc crafter block is not a manual crafter as well instead if you want to like craft with this thing Redstone power as soon

As we pulse it with a signal it’ll actually go through with the rest of it but only one time now if you’re a little bit more familiar with redstone as you might have guessed if I place a redstone block next to it that’s going to be one

Pulse right there and and that’s it it doesn’t matter if this block is like continuously powered or whatever one pulse is one pulse however if we do have continuous power on this boy the arrow inside of it will stay continuously lit up basically like letting you know

What’s going on here now if we want to get a little bit more fancy with this workstation we can link it up to say a hopper or something like that if I throw things inside of the hopper we will see that the hopper loads it from like this

Top corner all the way down to the bottom corner and then after that it continues on with the cycle and start stacking blocks over and over and over again now using these logs right here the recipe that I would be looking for let’s say is that 2x two of like logs if

I go ahead and lock some of these slots in here and then drop things into this Hopper then things are going to load from like the top corner all the way down to the bottom corner after that if I hook it up with a little bit of

Redstone and start powering it go ahead and craft things just like that as long as I’ve got all of the ingredients necessary for whatever recipe I’m trying to create every single time I powered it’ll craft whatever that recipe is eventually though I’m going to run out of materials or the materials are going

To be like maybe not in the right spots if you provide power to a recipe that does not exist nothing happens the ingredients say inside of the table and well nothing happens now the most obvious and easiest use for this autoc crafter is going to be recipes that are

Like one single ingredient and maybe like a relatively basic shape here say something maybe like dried kelp Block Oak log block you know something like that so next up check this out over here I built a very very basic Redstone clock on the top of the hopper I have queued

Up a ton of dried kelp if I go over here and just uh give it a little bit of power give this thing a little bit of time just like that I’ve got myself an autoc crafter machine that’s going to make me a bunch of dried Kel blocks if I

Wanted to automatically pick up these dried Kel blocks easy if I just place a hopper in front of it check this out I don’t even need blocks the hopper is just grabbing them immediately yeah that’s right you don’t even need to contain blocks or anything in front of

It to pick everything up the hopper just works with it seamlessly you might be wondering about Hopper placement maybe I place it right in front of it what happens then well same thing the thing just loads it into the hopper right from the side after that I could say like go

Ahead and chain Hoppers together and start transporting the items wherever I need to go they thought of it all with this thing this is amazing how just like loads it right in or like that way you get the particle effects too maybe you want to like look at it yeah it’s so

Cool so this is going to be a really big thing that we’re going to have to mess around with for a little bit of time but uh next up check this out over here I’ve got my bamboo Farm it’s been running for a little bit of time let’s say I had

Maybe autoc crafter and I wanted to hook it up like a oh boy how am I going to do this so the items or the recipes is always going to be spit out of the mouth of the autoc crafter if I wanted to I could string

Things together like this we got a chest from the farm maybe I could just do plain old Hoppers it goes down into the crafter and then it goes down into the hopper but problem if I check out the crafter it’s just filtering item straight through right now so instead if

I were to say take that just do one block of space you don’t need to worry about it now it’s just being queued up inside of the crafter and all I would need to do is give it a little bit of power maybe a small clock like that off

To the side of my farm pulsing this thing every once in a while so for today just go ahead and imagine that I built that super cool clock uh if I go over here and just flick C the lever boom I’m crafting things just like that or I was

Until I ran out I’m telling you guys right here and now I said at the beginning of yesterday’s video but this thing this little machine is going to revolutionize Minecraft 1.21 is going to be one of the biggest farming updates in recent memory you don’t understand no

Big deal check this out this is a little Contraption I’ve set up with just a few materials I’ve got a very basic automatic bamboo Farm because of my simple Observer setup right here with the Redstone Dust over the Pistons I’ve going to harvest the bamboo as soon as

It grows the bamboo is being sent into this chest but then because of this Hopper it’s being queued up into this autoc crafter right there if I go ahead and power the autoc crafter it’s going to automatically craft a bamboo block spit it down into this Hopper now over

Here because I’ve unlocked everything I have one bamboo block right there I can go ahead and chain these together and boom just like that make the bamboo farm that easily makes the bamboo planks and like it this is all relatively straightforward stuff too I could easily

Set up a clock over here that’s powering this one then then wraps around and Powers this one after and ends up with bamboo planks right in there just a couple of Hoppers plays down strategically autocrafters and of course the clock maybe just something like that right there like that’s really simple

What do you say we get a little bit more a romantic underneath big giant a beautiful tree to talk about this next thing The Dropper into all of my sweet sweet diamonds let’s say I have my dropper that is so enthusiastic looking with diamonds inside of it maybe it’s

Excited then that dropper is queued up right next to an autoc crafter if I power this dropper the diamonds are going to be moved right over and moved into that first spot now because of how power works I’m also like actually powering this autoc crafter right here

Right now while I’m queuing diamonds up every single time I move a diamond in it’s going in order top all the way down to the bottom 1 2 3 4 5 6 789 always the same order even if you lock things it’s going to go top all the way to the

Bottom there we go diamond block crafted just like that nice and easy let’s say I want to do something a little bit different with diamonds maybe I just want to like I don’t know make a diamond chest PL plate or something all right oh look this is obviously not the most

Efficient way to move things into your autoc crafter maybe just use a hopper instead but anyways Diamond chest plate now believe it or not so far today everything we’ve been checking out even though it might sound technical that’s just the basics let’s say we wanted to craft maybe

Something a little bit more advanced let’s say diamond sword we’re going to start by locking this Hopper up top after that we’re going to queue up the ingredients somehow in the order that they need to go into the table and the order that they need to go that’s going

To be number one that’s going to be number two and finally that’s going to be number three so if I line them up like this inside of the hopper somehow maybe send him in with like an item sword or a flow or something then I go

Ahead and unlock that boom just like I would have thought they’re queued up in order after that we would give this thing a little bit of power and voila automatic sword making station too so only time will tell for this next part but a more advanced recipe like that

It’s cool and all very very nice but I feel like maybe the most useful straightforward use for this autoc crafter it’s going to be some kind of Auto condenser where like you got an automatic farm set up in inside of your world and then you queue everything up

Inside of it and just pack it down into the plain old bamboo block of course after that you go ahead and like condense it down even more or just maybe leave it in the bamboo block form or whatever but amazing chef’s kiss another really cool functionality with this thing is

Multiplayer if I was on a server and I was loading diamonds in and then my boy uh Stephen over there he’s imaginary not imaginary real very real you just can’t see him Stephen walks over well Stephen’s going to see this stuff too and could add in like the lever the

Stick and everything else sorry Steve doesn’t really know anything about Minecraft recipes it’s kind of a dense slide maybe you were wondering how in the world am I going to like know when the crafter thing is ready to actually be able to craft something well my friend let me introduce you to the

Comparator with the comparator hooked up to the back of this thing one item equals one power two is two and so on all the way up until we get to nine items that’s going to be a redstone signal of nine that means maybe with the help of comparator you could detect when

Say your three items for your diamond sword are queued up inside of this thing and ready to go however it does get a little bit more advanced if we go ahead and say take away slots or maybe add slots back the signal strength is going

To change if I go ahead and toggle a slot right here it’ll add one to the signal strength so I just went ahead and added six to the signal strength so right there that’s going to be a signal strength of nine because the thing is like full basically the snapshot B shot

Oh boy this is like a normal Snapshot video isn’t it I was supposed to talk about all the other things in a snapshot oh no so inside of the snapshot we also have some technical changes in data pack stuff including a brand new game rule right here game rule projectiles can

Break blocks by default that is set to true if I go ahead and set this boy to false and then let’s say the decorated pot from the last snapshot that has things inside of it I’d go ahead and take my bow and try and just like boom H

It doesn’t work anymore this game rule will change if the arrows can break blocks oh but wait there’s more and players nether portal creative delay and players nether portal default delay so creative delay that’s obviously for Creative Mode this value is going to be a tick let’s say 20 ticks now you know

How it goes in creative Minecraft if you fly into a portal you go right through the portal if I go ahead and put that delay though and just move into the portal then I’m going to have a little bit of a delay more specifically the

Delay that I set 20 ticks right there so I can go ahead and like move into the portal and whatever or you maybe accidentally fly through the portal no big deal set it back to what it normally was which I think is one and you just go

Ahead and slide right into the portal and boom there you go now nether portal default delay is going to be for like survival Minecraft if we go ahead and say I don’t know set it to one then in Survival Minecraft I move into the portal just like in creative Minecraft

I’m like sent right through the port now at this point in the video you may be wondering what about the trial ruins what about that spawner what about the tough and copper blocks well Lads I think this is such a good thing ever since the nether update I’ve been

Wishing for them to go back to how they used to do it you see if you’re newer to the community you might not remember the nether update snapshots but basically back then they will put like one thing into the snapshot or maybe like a handful of things but like one major

Thing then you could like focus on it and learn all about it for like a week or whatever and the next week boom another big thing I feel like this is such a better way to actually like take a good advantage of the development cycle of snapshots and like sustain the
