In the twenty-seventh episode of the series, I take a step back to fortify my supply lines, assemble my assembly lines, and consolidate my circuit lines. I also compare and contrast the modpack with ‘being drowned in a toilet by a homicidal circus performer’, and one up the United States sugar market by creating a donut that I can milk for apple-flavored danger juice in search of ever more exotic forms of power production.
GT – New Horizons is an intricately designed and custom-coded kitchen-sink style modpack built on the 1.7.10 version of Minecraft. It integrates hundreds of Minecraft’s flagship mods into a Gregtech framework – completely overhauling the mods’ traditional progression in the process, and radically rebalances any of the technologies those mods may offer.
Because doing things the normal way is ‘too easy’, I am following a ruleset based off of the (in)famous Garden Of Grind ruleset that places me in a completely empty superflat dimension. Every single resource I need, including blocks to stand on, has to be created out of nothing by finding clever workarounds and weird mechanics. Unlike in Garden Of Grind, I am not restricted to only my starting dimension – it’s just that every other dimension starts out just as empty as my first one.
This pack is available on Technic launcher. You can also get the pack directly from the development GitHub, and run it on Prism or MultiMC.
