Insane Blaze and Obsidian Farm in Modded Minecraft!

I’m chosen architect and this is all the mods 9 and today we set up an incredibly powerful apotheosis mob spawning blaze farm well and magma slime hopefully you guys are ready so welcome back to all the mods 9 and I can tell you what today we are

Going to dive into mob spawners and mob spawners with apotheosis but with the combination of several other mods in this pack it is going to be quite powerful and we need to get our hands on well blaze rods now the reason I need blaze rods is because if I want to get

Any sort of method of transferring items cross dimensionally blaze rods are going to be the the go-to we’re going to need them so to make Ender Chest for example um ender chests are going to require uh us to have blaze rods uh not normal Ender Chest by the way let’s see Ender

Chest there we go the ones from Ender Chest mod um and as you see right here is it require Blaze rods but it’s also going to require obsidian and this leads me into another mob farm that we can actually use to produce obsidian believe it or not and you may be thinking chosen

What mod could possibly drop obsidian it’s not actually the mob that drops the obsidian but the process that we can go through in order to actually obtain obsidian and that is magma cream and they’re quite the best but we should be able to also create a spawner for it now

I was taking a look at some of the spawners that I have inside my inventory and it seems like the cave spawners and the silver fish spawners are honestly some of the best with the lowest delays on both of these and I have an idea for

How I want to set up this mob farm I kind of want the the actual Farm itself to be pushed back into the wall and then I want to have them pushed down a hallway that will lead them through a dropper that I can see through the wall

Here and they’ll eventually be fall into a pit below um where they will be crushed but it’s going to need to be big enough for slimes to fit through large slimes and it also needs to be set up in a way that uh well blazes won’t get trapped inside so I’m thinking having

This hollowed out will be perfect and we’ll have our dropper but we’ll have our spawn chamber up here and that spawn chamber will allow us to be close enough to it because only one of these spawners today will I be able to allow to run without me being nearby that’s because

Most of the spawner modifications have been change for example increasing the spawn count yeah it costs a pig lit heart which is quite hard to get um increasing the entities is a gas here um to remove the delay is going to be all the modium um and things like that but

Also the ignore players is going to be a conduit now if you remember the episode where we explored the Atlantis AKA we also explored ourself the ocean we did manage to get oursel a conduit after fighting off some Guardians so we do have one but we don’t have another one

That is until we get into mystical agriculture which will be happening very soon now in order to hollow out this area I want to go ahead and upgrade to a hammer and I do want to tip this and get all of those upgrades on it the reason I

Still stay going with iron is because it’s one of the most abundant materials we have access to so having myself a basic Hammer here is going to be more than enough for helping me clear out for example this space and I should be able to just simply Hollow it out just like

This now the size space that I’m going to need which is what a normal spawner runs off of is going to be a 9×9 around the spawner uh and that also means vertically as well so we’re going to need space up that is going to be nine

Blocks up and then we need nine blocks going uh from left to right and uh this should be the perfect size as they can spawn up to four blocks by default now on this particular size here this does have a spawn range of seven but we

Should be able to lower that now when setting our spawners up one of the first things that we can do is we can hit them with a comparator and that is going to immediately halt the spawning of anything until we give it a redstone signal so you see right here I have both

Of these stacked up because they both will eventually be spawning things but we’re going to need to change what they’re going to be spawning to and so that’s where we need to get into another mod now in order for me to get the spawn egg which will allow me to change the

Spawner we need to make ourselves some mob swaps these are Prett cool and they work on most mobs however boss mobs and things like that not all of them do they work on uh but uh for the most part they will get you a spawn egg and well we

Need to go back to the nether here we are back in the Nether and I just need to Simply right click on this mob and we now have ourself a DNA sample of a blaze which is going to be very nice and allow us to get a blaze spawn egg but I also

Need to find myself some Magma Cream um I mean Magma Cube yeah Magma Cube uhhuh nothing that a Delta won’t solve in there we go so now we have oursel a Magma Cube so now we should be able to just pick up our experience and we’re going to need four buckets for each

One and there we go and we are going to turn this into another type of chicken feed now we’ve played around with other types of chicken feed uh the ones that are used to make the eggs or for example the cursed Earth and there’s also one

For a delightful one that will spawn in passive mobs but in this case I want to use this for the mob swap to make this GM chicken feed and so this Oh I thought it required four buckets this one just requires one it looks like but it’s going to give us two different

Types one for a blaze and one for a Magma Cube and we just need to sacrifice a chicken well specifically two chickens happy birthday so there’s the magma egg and then we just need to get oursel the blaze egg and here’s the other chicken for it oh goodness yes there we go this

Should leave us set to getting all of the resources we’re going to need to be able to make things that are going to allow us to transfer items cross dimensionally now back over at Atlantis I definitely want to grab my conduit as this is going to be helpful for the

Blaze spawner specifically so let’s head on over and set this up so I’ve decorated it just a little bit got some walls changed up and it looks nice and neat now for the silverfish spawner if we hold the control we can see some information about this now this is the

One that I want to hit the Conduit on um is going to be this one and I’m going to go ahead and right click the egg to turn it into a blaze spawner so now it’s a blaze spawner the top one let’s go ahead and turn it into the magma spawner um so

Conduit that’s going to go on here and the conduit is going to allow it to ignore players it will not need me nearby in order to work which is perfect and that’s the one we want to use is definitely for the blaze spawner so Factory ready that’s good to go now

There are a few other things I’m going to need to do now currently the spawn range is seven and I want to reduce this down to its default four um I believe if we take a look at a spawner um a path and spawner I think by default oh it

Doesn’t even show you but I believe it is four now to be able to reduce that we need to find out how you actually increase the range and that is actually done for the spawn range here that is done with a blaze rod but we can actually reverse this by holding in our

Offhand nether quartz so we put this in our off hand we can see if we right click this that now spawn range went down to six and we just need to get that down to four to fit in our room a effectively same thing goes for this one

As well so there we go now they’re both at four which is perfect and all their other stats are pretty good now we just need essentially a lever to toggle them on and off but before I do that I want to get the floor sort of set up and I

Want to get our killing chamber set up oh yeah and another setup I want is the soul Lantern this is going to make the spawner ignore light levels and work regardless of if it’s bright in here or not uh which I think by default is already set up on these

Kind of cool that some of these uh spawners that you find underground already have really good stats the only problem with this is the spawn count is actually rather low on this one but I think it’s going to make up for it with the delay now for this I’m going to be

Using a mob fan at the top to push the mobs down into this area and the upgrades that are in here to make it a a 3X3 is going to be one on the width and one on the height just like so and then we also have some distance upgrades I ah

And put four in here this one is going to have the max width that it can accept which unfortunately isn’t big enough to cover the entire room but we’re going to fix that and then also have some height modifiers just for those pesky blazes and then also a distance to put it at

Just the right distance and then we’re going to combine that with some Vector plates to make sure that all of these mobs get sent exactly where they need so once they get pushed to the corner here this is going to push them into the center and then all around the sides

Because it’s not big enough to reach the sides we just need to put these Vector plates in and that should be more than enough to get all of our mobs pushed in here and then pushed down into a Crusher now surrounding the mob Crushers I also have Vector plates that inevitably point

The mob directly into the middle here now typically I would put looting upgrades in here but each one of these looting upgrades requires a looting one book it’s not too difficult to craft all of those but it does require one for each now with some very simple Redstone

Hooking up a cog block too high up into the bottom here with a redstone wire allows me to Simply set up a little lever on the outside that can turn on and off this from a distance now I also added myself a little bit of a secret hatch in the

Back um little access door here and yes you can utilize different blocks for these doors just like so until you can’t even tell it really exists but I do have myself now a maintenance hatch that will allow me to go in here and simply turn this off which is going to have uh

Redstone running through the back here that is going to power this on so I just need another lever lots of levers I I like to use levers for this so a lever right here and that should turn the fan on there we go um actually I may need to

Put it directly on the Block which is normally what I do there we go so that’s going to turn it on and off and then we can use a trap door to make sure we have a walkable path but can still turn it on and off now the same thing goes for

Redstone controlling this one and I can now turn this on and then turn this one on and let’s go ahead and get in here from our access and what I want to do is go ahead and turn on the spawners so they’re both going to turn

Theirself on and then we just need to turn this fan on and this should now be ready to rock and roll now we still need a way to collect the drops from this but look at that it’s effectively working we just need ourself a collection method so

First perfect and this is where the absorption Hopper is going to come into play now notice we are collecting several different items so that’s something that we’ll have to keep in account um but as far as controlling our XP gains I’m going to use the same

Method that I used before which is where back here um I’m going to Simply have this XP tap running off the back um and that’s going to run into an experience Crystal and that should drain the experience into that I turn off my magnet we’ll see that that is now going

Up so the XP is now solved now we just need to solve where we’re going to send these items and for now into another nice Barrel we go I really like using these over using like storage drawers I just I don’t know so far I’m really loving sophisticated storage I noticed

That I wasn’t getting a whole lot of magma cubes and uh that’s for good reason right cuz we didn’t actually bump up the activation range I think this can go up to 48 so there we go so that means I can be 48 blocks away from this thing

Uh before uh it will stop spawning so I should be able to just stay around the base and it will actually work which will hopefully keep this going that is until I can get the materials required uh to make it where this works infinitely um now later on we’re going

To need some way to automate those resources and like I said I think we can do that with mystical agriculture but that’s going to require a whole other set of stuff in order to get that to work but now we should have more magma flowing out and that’s where I need to

Take that and we need to turn this magma cream into a way to produce obsidian now to be able to turn this mob drop into obsidian this is where we need to get into roughly three mods one being Indio which is just my preference and create which is ultimately going to do the

Processing and then we’re also going to need to get into the advanced collectors or just the collectors in general so we’re going to need to go through the good old process of getting into create and that well means making some casings thankfully we don’t need a whole lot for

This little setup later on we’ll be diving deeper into create uh as it is a fantastic mod for processing large quantities of things but for now this is actually going to be a very simple setup all we need is a fan from create um and we’re going to need some way of getting

Uh stress for this mod and that’s where the water wheel is going to come into F thankfully this doesn’t need a whole lot in order to run um and what we’re going to be doing is basically crafting up magma blocks from the drops and then we’re going to need to feed that magma

Into the water and then pick it up once it’s done processing and this is shouldn’t be too bad we should be able to get away with just a funnel in order to do this process like a basic andesite funnel that is going to send the items

Out of the crafter um and then we need to get ender iio set up now the cool part about .io is it still works the same way as it used to all you need to do is light the Bedrock on fire and when this burns out this is how you get

Started with the mod you’ll end up getting yourself some grains of infinity which uh is definitely necessary and going to be used quite a bit so I should start seeing them pile up in my inventory after the fire burns out now the way we want to use the crafter is

Actually going to be pretty interesting now I do want to turn off everything while we get this set up just to avoid all of the noises and everything that that happens here um let me go ahead and turn that off and and make sure to turn

That oh gosh turn that off oh I should probably turn the fan on shouldn’t I there we go look at that happening there’s a lot going on and these slimes are no joke there we go perfect so um now that we’ve got that sort of calmed

Down let’s head down here and get this all set up so with the enderio crafter the way that this works and it’s very simple to make by the way the way that it works is you need to go ahead and place it down and then you need to put a

Capacitor inside the capacitor slot otherwise it won’t let you receive power but what you can do is you can go ahead and you can assign it a recipe for example I just assigned it a recipe like that and the cool thing is is it can pull from the inventories so let’s go

Ahead and clear out the settings let’s see we’ll get that cleared out that cleared out it’s a little hard when you’re falling still there we go and then what we want is we want a pull to happen and there we go notice it crafts and we’ll continue to craft so what I

Want is I want this on the back to export so on the back of the machine which there shouldn’t be anything attached so we have that side let’s see this is the face here’s the back we’ll set this to um push like so and what we want is we want

It to drop into this andesite funnel or we want the andesite funnel to drop the item now currently I’m picking it up but what we need is a fan right here and we’re going to have have water uh that is going to be flowing into this block

Like so and then this just gets washed and whenever it gets washed like so it’s going to turn into obsidian now I still need to wait to collect it and that’s where a collector is going to come into play but to be able to power this water

Wheels are so easy now in the newer versions all you need is a bucket of water flowing in whatever Direction you need this fan going and then you just place your water wheel and notice it’s it’s it’s going already um so it doesn’t you don’t have to spin it or do anything

Fancy with the water you just need water flowing and it’s going to go at the same rate regardless so there we go now we have it blowing in this direction you can tell by the particles and that’s all we need uh so this is now blocked off

And we just need to get the side sort of blocked off and then get a collector ready to go so let’s do this let’s go ahead and get our water placed in um so we just need to place some water right here and then close it off real quick

Perfect um so that should be set and that should send the items in and then I’m going to use an advanced item collector that’s going to go in here and this does have quite the range but you can limit the range down quite a bit um

We can lower this down to like a 5×5 which should be more than enough to collect this um I think we can even cut down and we can set this to display currently um we should be able to cut this down even further I just don’t know

Which side we should do that on uh I think probably leaving it like that it’s perfectly fine um but this is going to collect but we do need to make sure this is set to Whit list and we want to Whit list and only pick up obsidian so with

That done this process should be ready to work um so I should be able to Simply toss in the items um let’s see can I get this tossed in here I don’t think that’s going to to work um I can’t put the items back in here but for right now we

Will have some of this there we go so there’s that and as soon as that’s done processing which doesn’t take very long we should end up with a obsidian back inside of our barrel and that should be our processing all done I mean this should work there it is there’s our obsidian

That is perfect so now to turn it all back on and just let the process work so and here we go we will see this process hopefully happen and I love that it will only craft what it has available to it that is one of the the Great great Parts

About this .io crafter I love it now I also went ahead and finessed it up a little bit added a little bit of blocks into the side to make it look like it’s uh built into the wall and I also added some simple demagnetizers from simple magnets so are these are the advanced

Versions and I have them maxed out and so my magnet should no longer pick up any of the items that are happening in this area now I was looking and seeing how easy it’s actually going to be for us to produce more of these uh these um

Conduits later on down the road and it does appear like I just like I thought um that we should be able to get them well we can get them from these creepers Beach creepers uh at a very low rate it looks like but we can actually craft this with mystical agriculture very soon

With some prismarine Essence and fish Essence and then heart of the sea is you you can use the naus Shell with these Essences to produce that so the automation of this uh later on down the road isn’t going to be that difficult now if you haven’t already gotten

Yourself a conduit keep in mind that you can loot shipwrecks and you can also use the maps that you find from there to locate a treasure chest and if at that point you use your your F3 menu to locate it with your chunk bounds it is

Going to represent N9 and nine on the chunk bound that is the easiest way to locate it and you should be able to find a heart of the sea in all of those chests not all the shells on the other hand well those are going to be a lot

Harder to come by as you can get them from Trading um with a Wandering Trader that’s basically the the best way to get them yeah definitely because fishing is a nightmare you don’t really I mean you can get them fishing but you don’t want to have to go after that and manually do

It it it’s quite a pain now that I can craft myself ender chests this is going to be very nice so I think I can craft um external storages so let’s go ahead and get the recipes started up for external storages what I want to try and do is I

Want to temporarily use this Ender Chest the white white white for a method of kind of allowing this to send certain items over that we can process from our current Quarry and slowly do it because I think it would be a mess for me to try

And do it right now I currently have four 64k storages in here that’s still nowhere near enough considering the just four slots inside of the single chest that’s in this Dimension contains 64,000 items yeah that’s a lot so yeah just two of these together is 16 and then we’ll

Have 34,000 with just four of these slots worth of copper yeah there’s a lot of copper in here so what I want to do is I want to at least get some of these items started to be transferred over and I think what I’m going to do is I am

Going to just simply use some sort of cable or pipe so back here at home base I can simply place down this storage it doesn’t have very many slots which is perfectly fine but I can go ahead and hook up an external storage to it oh

Does it only let me place it on that side can I not place it yeah I can place it here um now what should happen is I should be able to see items I put in here for example an Ender Chest I should be able to see

That inside of my storage and which I do and whenever I put it and pull it out like I just did it’s no longer going to be in here so what I want to do is since my storage system up here is looking for very specific items to process I just

Want to get my items processing so I can use a filter such as an advanced filter which will allow me to filter items um which by the way is the only filter uh you have to get up to the Diamond version in order to filter with the

Pipes mod but as soon as we have this it should be pretty straightforward let’s go ahead and place this here and then we’ll place our chest on top and these are going to be linked together which is so cool um so by default if I go ahead

And I start to wrench this uh it’s going to start sending items to here that we probably don’t want over here yet um so this is where I want to add a filter for example let’s say gold I want to add a filter and I want to say only send gold

Please and so this being in whiteless mode should now only start sending gold um and uh we can also do this with osmium we can sort of rotate out I think right now it’s just going to be best if I just slowly get this going um but this

Should be sending this whole thing filled with gold and now our storage back at the base our whole system should go oh hey there’s gold in our system pull it out and get it processing and so we should see right now gold all being processed assessed throughout our

Machines oh and also I did make some upgrades and I hope that my my stuff can accept this um but I did go ahead and make some next tier upgrades uh aka the elite let’s see the elite ones and then also the ultimate ones right here oh by

The way this is something that’s a problem with refined storage that uh I’m encountering yet again um and that is a bug that I think is whenever we have external storages connected to weird things for example it’s connected to this it doesn’t allow you to pull out items

Sometimes so this is very very temporary and at least it’s a bug that you may experience that I just explained to you so if this was broken this would not you would not have problems pulling items out of your refined storage system thankfully though it doesn’t have a

Problem like working while it’s here it’s it’s only the grids and stuff that really don’t like this now for the fun part though let’s goad and upgrade these machines oh boy so this gives it way more slots and then we hit it again with the elite

Tier and my goodness this is now using quite a bit of power to do all of this processing but as you can see it’s very very very fast and very efficient at it and this is still doubling our ore now this is just one example of how to use

An Ender Chest just basically showing that you can access items cross- dimensionally and it is if they’re the same chests centered in the same position but I eventually want to use this chest to do some kind of ridiculous things like incorporating it into a storage Network and that is going to

Have to happen in a future episode because it is quite extensive but I think is one of the best ways to store items in packs like these it will essentially allow me to be able to send multiple items that we have automated all into one Central Storage through

This ender chest and uh that will allow us to essentially um automate things indefinitely where we never have to worry about oh is this going to overflow and so on and so forth now sometimes you don’t want to repeat things that I’ve done do not hook up don’t don’t hook up

An external storage up to your Ender Chest it’s not a good idea it doesn’t work it’s absolutely broken and will break your refined storage system don’t do it just don’t do it it’s not even worth it so um anyways I have another plan I have another plan but

What it’s going going to involve is US upgrading all of our stuff now that we have Blaze we can go ahead and start actually upgrading and making this blazing Crystal and this is really going to start to boost our mag maters CU we should be able to upgrade those directly

And that’s going to provide even more power and more power is good now with refined storage we can do something kind of interesting to automate this without redstone uh because I’m just going to be sending one Blaze Rod or need to send one Blaze Rod to the interesting orb I

Can use a regulator upgrade and the regulator upgrade when put in here allows you to specify for example very specific amounts of items for example just one uh or you can add to that now so what it’s going to do is it’s only going to allow one item into the

Inventory at a time that it’s sending to meaning that we’ve essentially got this set up and ready to go AKA what I call semi-automated so only after a few minutes there we go we now have upgraded our magm maters and we’re going to be looking at some pretty decent power

Gains here we’re jumping for 4,000 or so sorry 400 RF per tick now to 1,000 RF per tick by simply just upgrading these from their current state um so this is uh this is going to be producing quite a bit of power um I may be uh in the need

For upgrading these guys soon also you might have noticed that I’ve also got this running so um you can place multiple things in here and it will try its best to place everything that you have in here in its exact amount that you have have a set isn’t that regulator

Upgrade such a beautiful thing it is really nice dude you know what why stop at the other version we can go ahead and go to the nonionic Crystal and uh this isn’t too bad to make either it’s going to take a little bit more time but it’s

Just simple just a one Diamond thing and we’re able to upgrade to the next tier I tell you what unlocking Blaze and getting Blaze set up and automated is a huge step almost feel like it’s a major tier in progression and uh we now have

It set up and we have a ton of it and that’s what without even using any sort of upgrades inside of this thing cuz we could definitely put some Fortune upgrades in there and then this would be really really powerful not to mention that we are also getting these requery

Drops and molten cores are pretty nice in themselves allowing us to get even more Magma Cream more blaze rods and many other upgrades down the road which are going to help us out and well that is going to have to be it for today’s episode and I hope you guys enjoyed
