Insane Christmas Fun: Peter’s Minecraft Madness (2023) Pt. 2

Ho ho ho and hello and welcome back to the Christmas Minecraft special here in basement let’s play I’m Peter and I’m playing a little Minecraft today this is episode 2 um and I’m not exactly sure how much happened off camera but I do know that most of it was dull so here’s

Our old place you may well remember um and down here we had our mine I’ve got this blocked off with dirt so nothing comes up surprises us while I’m AFK I did attach this little hallway to our cow pen which has been dug deeper and I created a little storage space

Back here and got just a little organized so this is precious things they’re kind of all over the place though this is uh building materials this is wood stuff and this is organic e stuff and excitingly we have enough leather and sugar cane uh to make the books that we need

To make for enchantment Um and we have the diamonds all we needed now is the obsidian so what we’re going to do is we’re going to grab three of these diamonds and we’re going to make a pickaxe and then we’re going to go looking for lava um but first I’ll show you

Outside cuz I’m sure that it has changed a little bit I farmed some Spruce uh you can see I expanded the garden here a bit oh it’s actually snowing on our crops that’s interesting um but I set some dirt and stone and torches out here so that we

Could grow some tall spruce trees we lost our sheep to a Creeper explosion that also changed the shape of our cow pen uh but we reformed the cow pen and it is deeper and it does attach at the back in the corner there to um the inside of our home and that’s really

It uh I keep thinking some of these Christmasy things are actually um experience orbs just sitting around and if we look the right direction we might see yeah over here the site of our future home our Cozy home it’s off to the left here we have

To jump through this deep snow yeah it’s this way and I think there’s some torches yeah I see a torch right in the middle of the screen green at the bottom kind of between that above that line between cancel and lock and also another one over

Here and and this is where we’re trying to go uh I hear my cat meowing just a moment there’s K I don’t know if you want to sit on my lap while I play or not but you’re welcome to nope she doesn’t she’s out of here she just wanted me to touch her food with my foot I I think but if she meow at me some more

Maybe I’ll let her outside there’s snow outside for real right now so I I don’t know how long she’ll want to stay out if I let her out uh and that was risky setting the controller down and tending to that but let’s get back home before the

Before the sun goes down the snow’s getting deep enough it’s actually hard to uh get underneath the tree branches in some instances so what do we need to do today well we need um obsidian for enchanting and also for um going to the nether we need

To go in the nether because we need to get some dark oak and it’s far away and then we can Farm some dark oak so we can do some proper building uh but first things first let’s go ahead and make that diamond pickaxe the first diamond pickaxe of the

Series there we have it um I’m just going to put this above this one uh oh also an important thing I should show you guys I caved around I got some iron I got some coal um you know which was good and kept me going with some stuff it’s not down here

Where is it but I found a thing a specific thing a thing that has been helpful to me you may notice we have 32 levels of experience and actually before we go looking for obsidian we’re probably going to put some more food in our uh inventory here okay this dirt wall check this

Out skeleton spawner is this light enough that this won’t spawn at All oh there they Go so they spawn and then they fall there’s my infinite water source um and then they uh they fall down here and they still require two uh hits with an iron sword to die but I stand right here and uh and they spawn it’s right above me right

Here and this is as far down as we can stand and still will spawn so I’ve been putting uh bows and melting down some of the iron that they drop into nuggets and things like that um also disenchanting uh using the grindstone any Enchanted stuff that they

Drop sometimes you can just get them to shoot each other and you still get the drops but what you don’t get is the uh experience um but what’s nice about these uh drops is that I’ve been using the bones to stimulate growth with the tree farm and

The wheat farm so I can feed the cows and the sugar cane which is why I was able to get all that stuff that I needed yes can I help you you want to go outside pardon me a moment I’m sure I hope I will remember to cut this out but

I’m going to go let the cat Outside Okay cat is outside let’s go get some food we don’t need to go this way Anymore and uh and then we’ll head down we’ll head down the stairs to the right here and I’ll look for some lava I don’t know exactly where that’s going to be but we need obsidian um some places to find obsidian include ruined portals which I don’t know where any of those

Are where’s the Food oh you know where the food is it’s in here now we’re on level 33 which means we could do two 30 level enchants which is great um we don’t need the meat taking up an extra spot in the inventory so let’s put it here and uh like that

And then let’s just use this chest to dump in anything we’re not going to want uh we don’t want the hoe we don’t want the shears Axe and shovel are fine spare sword is fine diamond pickaxe is fine bones we don’t need hopefully we won’t run Into anything terrible wh didn’t mean to fire that look here’s some more arrows okay now we’re ready let’s see how long it takes us to find obsidian you can find it in the nether but we can’t get in the nether before we find our first at least 10 obsidian but

I’m going to want a minimum of 14 and preferably more preferably at least 16 so I can make a 12x 12 portal which I like oh here’s our diamonds um boy we didn’t even really get all that deep did we um okay what we’re going to do is

We’re going to start with four here and dig one not down deep enough and I’m just going to keep going down until I get to um what do we want 51- 51 for lava I think it’s something like that maybe maybe we’ll break into a cave and

Find a big pool of it I’ve seen some I went spelunking at some point but I don’t remember where so anyway I’m going to dig down and I’m going to look for lava or look for caves if I do some caving I’ll cut back in but

If it’s just stuff like this I’ll skip it so I’ll see you in a little bit more diamonds and to think I was going to stop at 53 I mean I I maybe I will stop at 53 even though he appeared on 52 maybe it’s

A sign I was going to stop on 53 and I had a comment prepared I’m going clean it up just a little bit we’re going to go uh we’re going to dig a branch at yal 53 in honor uh of a girl I used to know whose

First initials have or first name has five letters in it and whose middle name has three letters in it uh in honor of the fact that she taught me an important lesson sometimes when you don’t get what you want it’s a real good Thing so negative 53 I’m positive that that would have been a negative turn of events how personal ooh face cam Peter is so personal I remember when I first started Sunday Long play on the main Channel way back when and I was like what am I going to

Talk about I was worried so I Was preparing like topics I was like I’ll talk about my first car and all my cars um I’ll talk about my first girlfriend and all my girlfriends uh and then I realized that I didn’t have to do that I need more

Iron I can’t believe I didn’t bring any iron with me I do have stone I could make stone pickaxes I don’t really want to do that I don’t know how much iron I want to waste I’m already down here with a diamond pick maybe I’ll just use

Diamond this is going to be a short-lived series anyway I’m not I don’t need to be overly concerned about Min maxing everything I am wondering though if I’m going to hit lava or not maybe I’m not deep enough uh let’s go to some x value maybe 15

And we’ll dig down a couple more layers anyway I’m back to just digging through the dark here so uh let me cut this and I’ll be back in a minute all righty I’m Giving Up on uh digging in a straight line here we’re going to go to the surface

Grab a spare bed and go looking for ruined portals maybe we’ll get the obsidian we need and maybe we’ll find lava I mean enough to be useful you know so I’ll meet you top side well I found the old spunkin hole it was near the skeleton spawner

Entrance from the stairs but on the other side let’s just see if there happens to be any lava around here or not and maybe maybe this is where I heard the spider from I don’t know but I’m pretty sure I have this lit to the point where I don’t need to

Worry about spawns oh there’s some iron apparently I forgot about that I can grab that on the way out is this the dead end maybe this is why I forgot about it it’s cuz it looped around well we have to grab the iron and if I do find lava down here

I’ll let you guys know otherwise I’ll meet you top side all right spare bed in the inventory uh is it nighttime no it’s daytime let’s put the uh precious things in here that includes flint and then all the building blocks can go in here we’re ready to travel light uh do

We want the bed Out we’ll have it quickly swappable with the food where’s our exit over here okay so I did a little looking and it seems like z160 X360 might be the nearest ruined portal and I don’t mind jumping on ice so let’s do a little exploring let’s increase the world size

Here we’re almost already far enough South but we got a lot of West to Go did I find some good uh Christmas music for these videos royaltyfree hopefully hey we are Beyond The Loaded chunks interesting things to see there okay one we’re at 160 I’m going to have to do some climbing aren’t I may as well do it now wh one two three four parkour okay will there be a ruined portal about 60 blocks this way we will see I was going to ask though yeah did I find oh there is did I find good Christmas music for this

Because I hope so well there’s a obsidian ow um also some I mean lava oh a golden apple okay uh Flint iron nuggets what do we got here an Unbreaking three golden pickaxe and a chest okay let’s turn this into obsidian we’ll get rid of some of this

Snow around here I don’t want these magma blocks hurting me is that Obsidian I see a fair amount of Netherrack can there be Lava underneath here does it generate on the Inside I don’t know I do like the candy canes on the stone though it’s real nice okay um can you turn crying obsidian Into a portal what happens if you make a crafting table with crying obsidian I don’t know anyway I’ll mine this up it’s going to take a minute and then uh I’ll join you guys again um okay we have seven regular obsidian and three crying obsidian which should be enough to make a

Portal a beginning portal and then we could go into The Nether and get more lava theoretically all right I’m going for ruin portal number two uh it’s the easy way to get some obsidian and I’ll meet you over there aha here we go little more lava this time wish I had

Have gone to this one first okay oh baby the uh this is a weird structure actually there’s no real portal to speak of it’s like a ruined end portal or something okay what do we have in here golden carrot that’s pretty nice uh ooh uh we got a lot of stuff

Clogging up the old inventory what is this sharpness 2 axe a golden hoe two golden hoes and a golden pickaxe what do we get rid of the magma block the dirt maybe the Nuggets all right I’m going to mine this stuff up um and then uh and then return home so I’ll

See you guys back at the old base ah home sweet home I see those trees on the horizon that’s got to be our base and it is okay so speaking of Base where do we want to put the portal probably right at 0 don’t We I mean right uh 2 one0 yeah here’s 0 0 I don’t see any reason not to put it here do we want to put it underground though no I think we want to put it outside the base okay so one two three I think this tree is going to have to

Go excuse me snow to push me out of the way okay uh we don’t have our axe on us because we have our bow on us boys our inventory full are we going to be able to pick up this wood yes but if a sapling drops are we

Going to be able to pick that up probably Not are we okay with that probably okay 1 two 3 Let’s Get Out The Crying obsidian as well and boom uh boom okay one two 3 one no Minecraft you’re too smart you think you know what I want and sometimes you’re wrong I get it though it’s it’s hard to

Make those quality of life improvements without accidentally creating an unintended consequence okay there’s our portal that’s real nice um we’re not going to light it yet cuz we don’t have a flint and steel and because there’s no real reason to okay we need to dump some stuff like all the enchanted golden

Tools we could disenchant those for experience probably we can go ahead and dump stuff in the wrong chest that’s fine okay that’s a pretty good place to leave it we’ll do that and we’ll get the um spare diamonds now the question is where are we going to put the enchanting

Table and the answer may be down by the skeleton Farm but it’s It’s All Temporary right another thing we need is a book so it’s time to make the paper and stuff okay so 46 of these for 46 books makes sense so 46 * 3 is 138 so what’s that two stacks and

10 like that is that going to be right 138 I’m not sure because you make paper in multiples of three whoa no no no no no I wanted paper not item frames why can’t I just press the button twice that’s why you have a little bit of

Extra if I put the item frames here can I still open this this I Can sorry I’m kind of beneath the microphone there maybe no one’s looking at me anyway I don’t know okay Christmas cheer come on Peter let’s go we you’ve got extra so don’t be too ungrateful I do have 128 + 10 which is 138 I want to see if this makes 46

Bucks should yeah 4 six with nothing left over perfect okay so now I’m going to need though let’s make the let’s make the table and there it is that’s very festive uh and now let’s make the bookcases and we’re just going to need wood for

That I don’t know how much see 15 * 3 * 2 is 90 / 4 is 22 and change so let’s take 24 and we’ll make those all into Planks all right now we have 96 and not 90 and then we can make 15 bookcases and then we have six planks left over which could all become sticks as far as I’m concerned that’s fine and you know what let’s go ahead and use a dozen of those

To make some more torches cuz we’re always running low on torches okay now where is the enchanting going to go I loathe to put it outside but again it’s all temporary do we put it past the storage here maybe we put it just down a little

Ways I do definitely think I wanted in side cuz I’m nervous about okay so this is s so that Wall’s eight so I can start at nine that’s where we’ll start okay so we’re going to make it kind of cramped to start with one two three books there a light source here one

Two three books there and a light source here okay we’ll just clear all this Out okay and then uh the bookcases right so you know what we don’t want that coal until we see if we get Fortune those are very festive and of course it got dark in here but but but but but but we put that right there it is its own light source it is definitely cramped in here but we’ll add some more uh some more space a little later on okay now we need lapis

And uh the stuff we want to try to enchant so that may be um a book we should make a spare book look how low we are on leather now okay 1 2 3 um yeah we could try enchanting anything we got and if we really like it we can

Make a new version of it uh three paper and one book we do have an enchanted book I think it’s just power one we also have a name tag that came from the um oh it’s piercing one that was kind of close okay all right all right all right

Let’s see let’s see what we can get here on an iron pickaxe we can get Unbreaking three so that could be nice I’d rather have fortune or at least silk touch on here on breaking three we might get efficiency or fortune on that so it’s

Probably what I’m going to try but if I get looting three here I’ll be tempted nope Bane of Arthropods I’m not sure what would tempt me with a shovel we’re just not doing that much terraforming yet fortune on the axe could be good for saplings um

Although I’d rather have it on the hoe right uh what could we get on the bow power four if I were more of a bow user that could be tempting do we bother enchanting iron gear probably only if we’re swimming in experience blast protection no fire protection

Tempting fire protection again I do like to have prop four on everything but fire protection on one of the things wow we’re probably going to get respiration and Unbreaking on that helmet I would definitely pull the trigger if that were a diamond helmet but what we’re going to do is

We’re going to do the diamond pickaxe and just see if we get fortune or not and if we don’t we’ll try another enchantment on an iron picka ax Unbreaking or will there be more let’s see what Santa Claus thinks just Unbreaking I was naughty coal in my stocking okay could this be

Fortune it’s efficiency 4 and possibly Unbreaking as well let’s make a brand new pickaxe uh I need the iron oh did I even check the book before cuz there could have been fortune 3 on the book okay we are going to make a new pickaxe but hopefully I will

Remember to check the book I don’t have enough sticks for a pickaxe are you kidding Me Ridiculous I guess I should have made too many torches okay brand new iron pickaxe but first we check the book where’s the enchantment room it’s down here okay uh the book piercing three piercing the darkness oh piercing the sharpness okay efficiency 4 only or will there also be Unbreaking and hopefully

Hopefully fortune on it just efficiency 4 boy Santa is upset with me there’s an Unbreaking that would be worth combining as well but now we need more experience will we get fortune on the book at this point no Pro three okay um so now we need experience

Which is going to allow me to run an experiment uh what I’m going to do is I’m going to set a timer and then wait for some amount of time until there’s a lot of skeletons and just see how long it takes to get that many skeletons so

First I’ll kill anything that’s here already and there’s nothing so that’s good um and there shouldn’t be anything spawning cuz I’m out of radius of the spawner deal I do believe leave all right so let’s set a timer stopwatch and I’m going to walk into this place and hit go all

Right get centered here so we can see everything yet that is the wall okay maybe I will time-lapse this or maybe I’ll just cut I don’t know but let’s see let’s see what happens okay that’s 5 minutes uh it seems as though we have some skeletons and uh also if you take a

Look that’s how much experience there is 27 levels plus almost two containers let’s see what we get Here I see an enchanted bow and I see some golden armor so that could work out great but mostly I’m just interested in the experience although when they drop Enchanted stuff you can disenchant it for some EXP experience okay so we’re up to 28 and2 levels now which basically means if we

Do one more round of that we’ll be close to 30 okay here’s a power two bow let’s disenchant that Bow Bow Bow Bow Bow Bow Unbreaking two let’s disenchant that get some more experience going okay and uh there is some golden stuff now what we what I could do

Uh wow that’s full these are all just straight up bows though right oh that’s Unbreaking one bow that’s a okay so we have a few Enchanted ones let’s toss the crummy ones down well let’s disenchant the disenchant bles anyway uh that and that and that oh yeah now we’re up to

29 uh and as you may be able to Tell good things happen when you disenchant you get the Experience we’ll just Huck the extra ones down here So we can make some room uh but I suppose we could actually hang on to some of these bows and combine them if we wanted to uh especially the enchanted ones we’re going to need an anvil at some point whoops I just threw the good Bow Down

So maybe let’s combine what we have left to see if we can get another full one the one that I kept was just full it wasn’t um Enchanted so we can get another full one easily enough it’s just that’s more work than doing it the other way so maybe so that

Doesn’t happen again we’ll do That okay and really keeping you along for the ride here I wanted to create space though so I could put those golden leggings away I don’t care about the leather stuff but the golden stuff will be handy when we go into The Nether if we don’t want uh to get Harassed yeah efficiency 4 uh that and that except swap for That probably want that okay and then usually uh want some blocks on the hot bar I guess we could go like that oh wh stand in the wrong spot really my trash can should be back here so I can stand here and make make stuff go suppose I could do that while I’m

Waiting couldn’t I ooh gold May as well okay now can we put a slab there we do have Some okay now we can toss the junk that way while we’re standing here waiting for skeletons to come so I’m going to give this a few more minutes uh so we can get up to level 30 and attempt another enchantment so more skeletons will drop there it is there’s level 30 uh Okay so let me put all of the non Enchanted things that we just got in here there should be a trap chest that’s what I think with a hole beneath It uh yeah and look we got 46 extra arrows and 52 extra bones so that’s pretty good but I’m excited to see what the next enchant is going to be we’ll check the book and we’ll check the pickaxe and possibly more uh yeah and I was tempted to put the

Enchant deal right next to the uh skeleton Farm but then I’d have to keep the lampus down there and the books down there and the Anvil down there and uh extra materials to make more tools out of and I just am not sure that that

Would have been the right way to go okay we’re going to try this I think cuz it’s Unbreaking three what was the book though yeah that’s right Pro three okay is this looting no it’s Smite uh yeah oh man I hope there’s Fortune with this or silk touch but Fortune would be

Better okay it’s Unbreaking in efficiency that’s already efficiency 4 so I guess we use this up partially and then we combine these two I’m going to need an anvil and then we see what the next enchant is going to be uh how am I doing for iron and making an anvil

Um okay I’m going to I’m going to get to level 30 again so we can try some more because I really need Fortune Fortune is the next step so we don’t waste any of these diamonds they’re hard enough to find when you only get one Diamond per drop we don’t need

To punish ourselves by not allowing two or three or four diamonds per drop depending on the luck an average of 2.25 according to the last numbers I saw so uh give me a bit and I’ll be right back all right level 30 30 uh let’s drop off any of these bows we don’t

Want uh to keep and we don’t want to keep any of them really but we do want to disenchant the ones that are disenchantable uh I’m going to need a better sword at some point too because these uh grinding sessions are really hard on my SW sword hoping a diamond sword

That’s Unbreaking I don’t care as much about looting for the purposes of this Farm but Unbreaking would be nice oh I was going to disenchant the one bow but I didn’t but that’s okay I’m at level 30 so let’s see what we get let’s see all right all right all right

Um sword Smite four book protection three those haven’t changed I either want to try a new pickaxe or I want to try the diamond pickaxe again this is Unbreaking which makes it a good Workhorse but really Fortune’s so much more important but I don’t mind putting fortune on a

Um iron pickaxe first especially when I have iron to spare it’s just that if a diamond one were to be Fortune I might not be able to tell by putting an iron one in uh so let’s come back down here and try putting the iron one in the UN Enchanted iron one Unbreaking

Again I mean it might come with Fortune we have to try Fortune 2 okay Fortune 2 that one’s worth hanging on to um and is it Unbreaking three it is so we could combine it with that that one well which one’s cheaper okay so we could combine it with an efficiency

4 or we could combine it with uh the other efficiency 3 Unbreaking one and we’ll get the same Result 1 2 3 4 5 okay uh 31 is how much I need to make an anvil we need to make the three blocks and then where is the Anvil right there that is a cold christmy looking Anvil let’s bring this down here put right

Here wo boy does that look cold okay now if we do this and this it costs one and it brings us up to efficiency 4 if we do this it also costs us one one and brings us up to efficiency 4 what we want though is another Fortune 2 at least so we’ll do that and then we’ll uh disenchant the efficiency 4 one and I only have one uh disenchant and it’s down here and Y = 21 and this is a good spot for it to stay although I could make another one it doesn’t take much maybe I’ll grab the slabs that are down here okay put this in here this one and see what it offers to give us on here um and let’s grab the

Slabs three of them cuz that’ll allow us to make another grindstone with which to just enchant and we’ll see how that goes grindstone I just made two of them it’s kind of dumb uh I mean we could put it there why not put the other one there for now okay

What will this unenchanted iron pickaxe give us now silk touch okay that’s not Fortune 2 but silk touch would be handy it would allow me to bring the diamonds up here so let’s go grind to level 30 again and we’ll get ourselves a s silk touch pickaxe we’ll

Go and we’ll gather the diamonds and bring them up to the base base and we’ll see if we can’t get more Fortune as well all right we’re at 30 again uh yes silk touch I mean what do we do do we do silk touch or do we do a one level and then

See what else something else gives us there’s Unbreaking three on a book no guarantee that comes with Fortune okay that’s a really good pickaxe silk touch efficiency and Unbreaking so let’s use this to go get our diamond ore uh and we can put them somewhere

Safe and then I think we got to get to 30 levels again and see if we can’t get fortune on a pickaxe it is helpful oh there’s our uh splunking opportunity and here’s our diamonds uh we do have the silk touch one on right yes at least we can get these out of

Here and up to Camp there’s four in our inventory and if we go further down there’s a couple more that’ll be six and so we ought to be able to get uh Nine 9 10 11 12 13 and a half 13 2.25 * 6 is 12 13 and a half right so 13 or 14 hope for at least 13 got six and uh and then we’ll see how that goes um I could use this I don’t want to though I don’t want

Um silk touched deep slate I want the regular stuff but at least at least we can get these diamonds away from where we might potentially forget what they are where they are and we’ll put them up here uh where our valuables go to be fortuned later uh speaking of

Valuables let’s get an extra few iron and I think we’re going to have to do in the next episode is have a mining episode we’ll get something else done I’m sure but okay I need more sticks I’m not tree farming so I don’t have sticks Always uh okay you know what we don’t need that for sticks uh we do need it for the pickaxe though so let’s make the planks and the sticks and then we’ll go in here and we can make an iron pickaxe with our three IR iron and we’ll see what we might get efficiency

4 it’s not Fortune 2 necessarily but it would be nice if it was okay so nothing to do but to go get more experience um I wonder if we should be checking if we can get you know what would be a nice you know what would be a nice thing

I have a couple of ideas from Minecraft well I have a few um but two I’ll mention now one I think it would be nice if the bookcases could offer half power if they were further away from the table and then you could use more bookcases to contribute to full power because it

Would be nice to be able to place bookcases with two blocks in between the bookcase and the uh enchantment table and then you just have to place 30 of them in order to get the full effect um and so the vertical distance would probably have to change then too let’s

See 1 2 3 4 5 10 no they wouldn’t have to uh but anyway that and an enchantment that increases the experience drop of whatever you cause experience to happen with right so it could go on a weapon and you hit a skeleton and if it’s got experience booster level four or

Something it drops an average of 225% of the experience that it would normally drop 100% just uh with a vanilla death uh how cool would that be and um that’d be a nice way to uh buff The Experience game in Bedrock cuz right now I mean this

Is Java just does so much better with the experience farms and uh Bedrock had bugs for a while that allowed you to get experience quickly but it was still work you still had to earn it it just was not as hard as it is now and I miss that um I think

It’s one of the hindrances to me playing and enjoying the game on Bedrock really is how slow The Experience gain can be so those are my ideas an enchantment that um boosts experience drops and uh being able to place bookshelves twice as far away from enchantment tables and

Uh Supply half power to get to level 30 what would be really cool is if you can add more bookcases and get like higher levels like I’d love to see Fortune 4 um but maybe not maybe that wouldn’t actually enhance anything because by the time I’m totally

Enchanted then I have fun for a while and start to lose interest in the world cuz everything’s a little too easy so maybe uh maybe that’s why so I don’t know what changes would you make to Minecraft okay we got to level 30 let’s see what this pickaxe does we already

Have a Unbreaking 3 efficiency for Fortune 2 and Unbreaking 3 efficiency 4 silk touch those could be efficiency fives but they’re just iron pickaxes our diamond pickaxe is Unbreaking three what I really need is a fortune 2 or fortune 3 it’s showing efficiency 4 we’re probably just going to get that

Or that paired with Unbreaking it’s just That uh well let’s apply it to Silk Touch I mean why not then we’ll have an efficiency five although is it really worth It No maybe what we’ll do instead is disenchant the efficiency 4 and put it in there again and see what the next one will do Unbreaking is this going to be Fortune 2 sharpness that could help kill Some stuff but we don’t have the levels we’d rather put that on a diamond sword all Right I’m going to grind for experience for a while and uh I’m going to cut the recording actually and um the next time I join you I’ll have Oodles of experience and then uh we’ll see if we can’t make some positive things happen

60 and holy smokes does it slow down getting from 51 to 54 was a slog so we’re going to call it there and hope we have enough luck to get something good now if I see Fortune 2 I’m going to jump on it and if I see silk touch which I don’t

Want in the 30 level I’m probably going to do a level one and then disenchant chant to try to give myself the most chances possible but with Unbreaking three I I think we have a decent chance at some Fortune but we didn’t get it so now do I disenchant and make a different

Pickaxe cuz we already have Unbreaking 3 efficiency 4 on the silk touch and on the fortune and I don’t really think efficiency 5 is a necessity yeah I don’t care that much about efficiency on iron so we’re going to undo That here and try again all right I may be cutting around here I just want to get oh there’s a fortune 2 jumping on it Fortune 2 efficiency 4 we can add that to this Fortune 2 efficiency 4 Unbreaking Three and then mine up our diamonds and make some diamond stuff and then see about some more enchanting uh we do have to combine these to get the fortune 3 that’s going to cost us eight or 12 let’s do it the eight way okay that is basically a god pick in iron without

Mending but really fortune 3 is what we care about most okay now where are those diamonds I hope I hear a zombie is it night out it is night out I think that’s why uh so we’ll sleep and then we’ll see what we can get we’ve got six diamond

Make at least one more pickaxe so we can start to do more and then do combining a diamond axe would be nice for if we do a lot of wood farming and building I do think a diamond sword is necessary that leaves us with 11 we could do boots and pants with

11 um which should give us a chance at protection and yeah boots and a helmet might be smart though because the helmet we could get like aqua affinity I don’t know I don’t know what to do yet I think we’re going to put the leftover diamonds away for now and just

Focus on this sword uh and this pickaxe and I think we have a book down there and now we have a book in our hands right right here so we can we can see about these let’s go ahead and disenchant this one book cuz we’re not going to care about

Piercing okay so first things first uh not an arrow uh the pickaxe okay efficiency with the possibility of Fortune again once our bane of Arthur pods once our um iron pickaxes wear down it will become more important we put could put sharpness one on that sword what does this sword

Show Bane okay so um I mean we could go with efficiency and hope it comes with fortune and then add it to this Unbreaking or we could check out the bow we haven’t looked at the bow yet power three tempting but I don’t use the bow that much okay efficiency and Unbreaking I

Mean I could combine those or I could just disenchant one of them and start over with it looting three on a sword possibly with sharpness we definitely have to go for That wow that is a great sword that that’s a great sword uh what do we care about more with a diamond pickaxe probably Unbreaking so let’s dump this efficiency and try again see if we can get efficiency and something else Unbreaking again okay will it come with fortune or

Silk touch though oh yes okay so there’s our silk touch pickaxe meaning we can disenchant this other one and see if we get fortune or we could also look at the book and the bow okay we already have silk touch power four on the bow now that’s that’s tempting oh but feather falling

Four I have to go with that that may save my life I can put that on the the boots now what is the bow show Unbreaking three we’re run low on levels though or Fortune two on the book or Fortune 2 on the pickaxe why is Fortune 2 showing up as a 30

Level deal I don’t know we’re hanging on to feather falling though we got our spare there here’s our silk touch which is kind of obsolete now but we can take it with us and leave the diamond behind since we don’t need a ton more obsidian okay then we’ll drop off the

Bones and the arrows and it could be fun to go looking for more look how many arrows we have now uh you know go mining and stuff but I don’t think we’re going to do that in this this episode I think what we’re probably going to do instead at all the bones we

Have is um go mining in the next episode we’re going to get a bunch of iron and then we’re really going to set loose on diamonds but what I want to do now and maybe you can figure it out is going to the nether uh and we probably do need some

More obsidian before we go So let’s make the flint and steel as a reminder to ourselves oh and let’s bring a stack of arrows with us because why not we’re swimming in them and we need some sticks and just some wood in general but what we want to do is we want to go into The Nether poke

Around a bit uh and then then maybe go looking for um some dark oak but I do need some more obsidian because what I’m going to do is I’m going to make another portal once I’m in there and it will give me two extra obsidian so I need to go

Get 10 which means I’m going to go back to the old uh ruined portal so I’ll meet you guys over there okay we are back at the old abandoned uh ruined portal and we’re going to dig up some of this stuff and did I never check this

Out golden carrots oh I think I didn’t have room for it all some golden boots yeah I’ll take it now let’s see how fast this efficiency 4 pickaxe ooh mines up the obsidian quite a bit faster so let me gather this stuff up and uh we’ll bring back to the old base

Alrighty I am back and somehow my uh resource pack and my skins were not in place but now they are you can see my Christmas sweater under my armor there and uh all of the magical Christmas magic is back uh okay question do we want to take our best gear into The

Nether answer no um so we’re going to get rid of this pickaxe and this sword uh we’ll take the crummy old sword with us and then we’ll dump some stuff in this chest that just doesn’t need to come along Um oh boy are we running out of room or what uh that’s okay I did find a block of gold um at the uh at the ruin portal which is kind of fun okay uh I think we look ready we could make another sword that might be pretty

Smart um and we have a stick yeah this switch flips itself every time I stop the game and sometimes resource packs undo and I’m not totally sure why but it is what it is okay if we have to do a lot of fighting we can do we want a

Stack of cobblestone I think we do um the water is not going to be useful okay so we’re ready to go into The Nether will it be scary or will it be christmy or will it kind of be both I’m not sure yet we’ll see this

Smart oh he’s looking christmy um could you please fall down thank you uh let’s just get a little bit of a look up here and see what we see more magma cubes there’s a big boy Okay here come all the little guys going to try to cause big problems for Me okay so it seems we’re going to be able to kind of Parkour up a bit here there’s lava above us but then we can get further north maybe we just staircase up from like here you know what I mean although digging up in the nether is always a bit of a risk Cuz when the lava comes it comes fast so let’s put some blocks near us in the hot Bar This is good though this is good we’re finding relatively safe passage up here uh what’s this that’s what Bedrock looks Like 3 2 1 Z okay now we ought to be able to take this all the way to 0 and make ourselves a new portal which should link up to our original Overworld portal just nicely then we can come back through and take apart the old one and use that obsidian to create a

New portal where I suspect there is dark oak 0 0 and we can’t go any higher than that so we’re going to go lower of course okay so one Two 3 one 2 3 one 2 3 okay placing our obsidian here and we’re going to end up we have to be careful because we don’t have a diamond pickaxe on us this is going to be where the New entrance to the nether is going to be for us from our base portal in the Overworld it’s nice having a good Pickaxe some scary sounds in the nether though hopefully it’s drowned out by the Cheery Christmas music not sure why that’s there okay should we see if this works I’m guessing it should and then I’m guessing we going grab our diamond pickaxe and come back through uh let’s go ahead and take Out a few extra blocks here so we can exit easily enough and then the flint and steel comes back in here okay so this should bring us Home and it does but it’s night time I close that door I did let’s go to sleep and grab a diamond pickaxe so we can mine up some obsidian Um okay we’re going to use the unenchanted One for Reasons now the real question is when I go through this am I going to end up in the original spawn place or the new spawn place should be the new one cuz it’s a closer fit coordinates wise 0 0 to 0 0 I hear a gas O I am in the old spot and boy is that a dangerous look at that is this where I spawned before yeah boy it sure looks like it that could have been real bad okay let’s go ahead and build up a bit here we don’t need to get spotted by Those okay and just a little bit more I Think good Okay so now we’re tearing this all down uhoh it’s a very happy looking Gas I think we got out of sight soon enough we’ll do it from down here it’ll be safer down here uh so this is a regular diamond pickaxe so it’s going to take a a while but we got to be safe in the nether so let me mine this

All up and then uh we’ll go up to 0 and we’ll build a little hallway over to the portal that will lead us to dark oak all right we’re back at 00 and we’re going to go to Z postive 125 uh and then we’ll take a left before we’re ready to build our

Next portal back into the Overworld and I’m going to mine slowly here in case there’s a hole or in case there’s a lava source block uh if something tragic or interesting or wonderful happens I will cut back in otherwise I’ll just dig myself a quiet little nether tunnel here

And uh join you on the other side all right I made it to the end of the tunnel with only a minor uh issue there was a drop off that I did not fall into but I saw on time in time to prevent the fall although it would not have been a fatal

Fall uh so not that remarkable not that big of a deal I’m hoping that we will be in a dark Forest on the other side of this portal we do have a bed with us which is good we’re overrun by Netherrack and we do not have enough wood to make ourselves both a

Crafting bench and a chest uh which is a bit of a problem but let’s see what’s on the other side of this Portal now it could be dangerous if this takes forever to load in unfortunately what it seems to do is load in the mobs before it actually loads in uh player visuals so sometimes you get killed just by going through a portal it is night time let’s

Sleep oh and of course I can’t set the bed on leaves here we go oo very spooky spooky kind of night okay okay so we’re actually on top of the trees which is is great I do believe cuz not a lot I don’t think things can spawn on Leaf

Blocks so we ought to be able to get some dark oak from this now I didn’t bring a Hoe but there’s our first dark oak sapling so let me get I don’t know 10 or so of these and then uh I’ll get back with you all righty we’ve got 10 of these and we’ve also got uh Spruce and Oak I mean Birch and Oak available to us

Uh well I see Birch anyway but I believe that this right here behind me here is Oak yeah that looks like an oak sapling to me in fact maybe we should grab it it is an oak sapling so we’ll bring that home along with our dark oak

Sapling and uh this could be our tree farm that we get to with a handy dandy little nether tunnel all right we’re back and we can cut down those and plant our dark oak however something we’re going to want to do first is get a new axe let’s grab

This so we could put it somewhere how about right here and get rid of some of this nether stuff including the obsidian and crying obsidian and other nethery things we’ll keep the wood on us for now um we want to make I think diamond boots so we can enchant those and put

The feather falling on them and a new iron pickaxe and I kind of want to See right what we might get it on an axe here Unbreaking okay that’s exactly what we want so let’s do that with a new Axe and let’s make the boots uh there they are diamond boots and an iron axxe okay now we’ve got 29 levels not

30 so let’s get our last level here I’ll show you the old the old Farm I’ve shown it once before but it’s pretty slick the way it works I think not very slick but pretty slick for low effort I just found it dug out a

9×9 by9 Cube and then set some water on one side to push to the other and then allowed the furthest drop that I could without having to build an elevator and we’ll stand here and wait and they begin dropping down and we’ll just get ourselves to level 30

Shouldn’t take long so let’s give it a few minutes all righty level 30 didn’t take too long we could put Unbreaking on the axe which I think is going to be our priority however we want to see what we offered on the diamond boots we know we

Can put um feather falling on them with the Anvil but if we see like Pro 4 and Unbreaking or something could be tempting okay so let’s just see feather falling four okay we have that in the book it might come with protection protection three or protection four I suppose did we make

The axe we did it’s right here okay we have to go with Unbreaking if it pairs with sharpness it’s not as good as efficiency oh we got Unbreaking and efficiency okay there’s our new axe for tree farming now let’s see what it says here still feather falling four possibly with Unbreaking do we put Unbreaking on yes we do I just decided you don’t have to debate endlessly you can just decide uh and let’s get our we’ll put our lapis away and we’ll get out we don’t need these bows look at these bows allows these scking bows uh and we’ll put the

Feather four falling four on it as well okay diamond boots and feather falling four cuz the cost of four levels from 25 down to 21’s a lot less than from say 35 down to 31 okay you have to in order to just hot swap you have to be in this View and use

We’re going to cut down the spruce trees and o hello night time my old Friend the morning sun has vanquished the horrible night there may or may not be creepers about yep I see one we don’t have the diamond sword on us which is Fine but we don’t want this guy creeping up on Us okay always gets a little tense with the creepos um I think we go to the top of the first one oh it’s so much faster and the axe is going to last so much longer and I can combine it with my vanilla axxe unless enchanting says it’s going

To get efficiency 3 on it then I probably just take it and combine it with this one but tree farming we just unlocked a new level of tree farming here which is excellent news uh how’s your Christmas season going I know we’re pretty pretty far into episode two here but I’m wondering

How’s your December going how’s your holiday season going uh what do you celebrate do you do you are you Christmas believer or are you just a Christmas celebrator um and you don’t mind you know partaking in some of the festivities like the gift giving and maybe a tree and that kind of

Thing without having the belief set that sort of came with it or inspired it I that’s cool I mean you you know you do you um I’m a Believer uh but other people believe in other things um and celebrate different stuff like Hanukkah or whatever else uh so that’s pretty

Cool but I’m curious I want to know uh whoops I actually want to do here let get in the center here and chop down as far as I can like that and I don’t mind if it gets Even oh but yeah is uh is it stressful is there snow where you live you having trouble um driving keeping your driveway clear uh do you have a car do you park in a garage or you do you scrape your windshield um what about shopping do you

Have to do shopping in this season or make a list and get nervous that uh the thing that you really want most might be the thing that’s not gotten by the gift Getters in your life um I find it to be a nice season um it definitely comes with its set of

Tasks oh just woke up some sleeping foxes we’re probably going to Take was there like a weird floating arrow on the screen just Then oh he’s wait what is this does he have an arrow in his mouth but he’s a a Christmas wolf and the resource pack is just doing weird things that was kind of bizarre oh we’re getting our saplings though which is good we’ll have plenty of spruce saplings at the end of

This but I’m going to hop up here and take these and then we’re going to plant an oak and bone meal it till it grows and then chop it down and uh see if we get some oak sapling for sustainability and then okay what’s interesting in this snowy region

Is how you kind of have to deal with the snow here um then we’re going to do dark oak and that’s going to be real exciting these snowballs could come in handy when we go back in the Nether and try to get some blaze rods if indeed we

Do that I’m not totally sure we’re going to okay let’s put an oak sampling uh where’s the safer spot right here we’ll turn all these bones into 39 bone meal Boom Vines new recipes unlocked that’s right we got Oak now let’s BST bust up most of these leaves so we get as many oak saplings as possible before we graduate to dark oak all right we’re up to three Oak saplings which is fine by me we’ve tripled what we had now it’s

Time to move on to the dark oak and I don’t know if we need to farm these on camera we can at least make him grow look at that look at that ooh that it’s a nice with the vertical snow as opposed to like the horizontal yellow holly or

Whatever on the spruce that’s going to be a nice log and I’m curious actually to see what the planks look like as well so let’s just grab one of these oh yeah and they look just like Spruce except dark very Interesting Spruce there no dark oak there Spruce there oh I like the dark oak better it’s harder to farm though what’s the oak look Like we’ll put one here that actually looks quite Nice and yeah this looks just like the spruce and the dark oak but lighter with the Christmas lights and that makes sense um here’s the spruce kind of a horizontal texture there what happened to our dark oak we only got one let’s get one More kind of sapling was that oh boy is the inventory ever full we’re going to have some organization to do off camera here after this one um I have mixed these Up there that’s how it goes ooh maybe oak logs and dark oak planks boy I don’t know building in the Christmas pack is different isn’t it what textures you like best I think I like these they’re they’re so easy to farm and we’re going to need a gazillion

Planks we may as well use those but maybe with Oak instead of dark oak let me know what you guys think um we could go back for the Birch like we saw in the other tree farm and uh what does the future of the series hold well next episode I think

We’re going to have to go mining I’d like to find an iron ore ve and mine it up so we’re basically all set for iron for the rest of this short series um and then maybe uh soup up some of our stuff enchant enchantment wise right and then um and then go

Diamond mining try to get a lot of that uh and if we can accomplish all that then we can Gear Up and enchant the diamond stuff in such a way that we’re feeling good about where we’re at with all of that coal could be a problem unless we start to uh make

Charcoal out of out of wood which is certainly a possibility uh and then after that it could be structures or exploration um but with not everything looking as christmy as everything else I’m thinking it’s going to be building terraforming and building uh in the site that we picked out um and

Maybe just to break up the mining of the next episode we may build like a tower here at 0 uh so that if we’re nearby we could tell where 00 is without the coordinates just by The Landmark that could be good but uh I am going to have to be done with uh
