Insane Drone Farming in Minecraft Desertopolis

In the last stream we were working on setting up our very basic refined storage system and along the same lines we were also working on unlocking the entropy manipulator because this is our key to unlocking pneumatic craft so right at the end of the last episode we

Did get our first compressed iron ingots and my plan for today’s episode is to delve a little bit deeper into the new magiccraft mod and I’m hoping that by the end of the episode we are going to have a fully automatic wheat farm that’s going to allow us to rapidly increase

The stats on our chickens over here and then from there we can also use those chickens to make custom resource chickens that we can then use to get a bunch of different resources hopefully quite easily the pack has updated since the end of the last stream and so we do

Have a few new things and there’s also a few tweaks one of the first tweaks is that we now can just right click on the crops here and you get the wheat and you also get three seeds I’m not quite sure if this was increased but that’s a lot

Of seeds from one wheat and it’s allowed me to kind of fill out this area here very quickly I’m very happy about that and the other changes are kind of just in the quest book here we have a few new quests so a few things that we kind of

Learned as we played through but they are now added as quests to make it a little easier for people going forward and there’s also a few new items as well up in the useful item section here there’s now a pipe connector this is from the pipe connector mod I am very

Intrigued as to how this works it’s not something I’ve used before but the quest book says that if we make this it will basically just lay pipe for us it says forget running cables on your own lay cables across a distance press shift over the item to see how to use it and

So here you can shift right click on a block to set positions and then you can shift left click to open the GUI and to place pipes or reset position so I assume that we can use this to kind of automatically place pipes down between kind of two different inventories that

We want to connect using pipes now we do need six string if we want to make that work and so real quick just so we can test this out I kind of want to grab some leaves craft those leaves into string and then of course go through the

Same rigal we’ve done a few times here where we craft that string into wool and then we Crush that wool into string once we have that string we can then of course craft that uh pipe connector and so now if I take some pipes and let’s say we get two chests as

Well just as an example here I assume that we can maybe do this and this this is obviously a very short distance but if we wanted to connect these two it says shift right click on blocks will set position so shift right click uh you

Must be holding a valid pipe in your off hand okay so we do this we go shift right click shift right click that shows like a box where it’s going to go and then from there we can shift left click to access the GUI okay so it says to shift left

Click in the air that does not seem to be uh to be working unfortunately but I’m very intrigued as to how this is going to work in the future uh let me try you must hold a Valley Pipe in your offense if I do this or you can’t

Connect the pipe to the top of the block so you do this shift left click yeah this um unfortunately doesn’t seem to work we’ll come back to that I’ll figure out how that works and we’ll give that a go in the future but now that we have that the other thing I’ve

Done between streams is I’ve also gone ahead and crafted up more of those everything upgrades for our strainers so over here we of course have hour improved everything upgrade I’ve also gone ahead and made two more of those between streams one for this strainer and then I’ve also made a new strainer

Here uh this one right now did have the everything upgrade but I’ve moved it into the new strainer so right now we have three improved everything upgrades which is still only the first tier I do want to at some point look at upgrading to the um the next tier of everything

Upgrade here though I’ve done a little bit of automation I’ve dropped down a hopper and dropped down the strainer this strainer just like this strainer has the crystallized manal chunk above it and just some basic automation here I did some tree farming for menal logs and then just dropped all the menal planks

Into here to slightly automate the process of making more crystallized menal and of course going forward we can use this to make more Redstone and to make more nether quartz should we need it and yeah I think that’s basically everything I’ve done between streams oh I also made another one of these extract

Tators over here just because I wanted to get some more copper we needed the copper to make more of the improved everything upgrades and it’s kind of tricky it’s cumbersome at least to use this extract Tator to make copper because it’s already working on making

Lapis and raw iron anyway if we want to progress through with new mancraft down here the first thing we need to do is we need to set up a pressure chamber because the pressure chamber is going to make it so much easier for us to get more compressed iron which is kind of

The key resource that we need to expand out our newa craft Network right now we take one block of iron which is of course nine iron ingots and we right click it with the entropy manipulator to make three compressed iron whereas once we have the pressure chamber we can do a

1:1 ratio which is three times more efficient than this current process now in order to get the pressure chamber up and running we are going to need more compressed iron than the the three that we currently have because in order to make the pressure chamber we need a pressure chamber wall we’ll bookmark

That and we also kind of optionally but we’re definitely going to want to get the pressure chamber interface as well as the pressure chamber valve this guy right here and you’ll see that a lot of these do require even more compressed iron specifically the pressure chamber wall

Here is what we’re going to need the most of this is made with reinforced bricks the reinforced bricks here are made by crafting reinforced Stone and reinforced stone is stone with compressed iron so in terms of making that right now we’ve got 50 Stone but I

Do think that we should prepare for the future and what I mean by that is that I think that we should make another tier 2 resource generator here because that should allow us to automate the production of stone and in fact I’m going to make two more tier 2 resource

Generators to allow us to make one for stone and one for Cobblestone because again between streams I was crafting more resource generators again to make more of those everything upgrades and I did have to go do more mining for Cobblestone and at this point in the game we really shouldn’t have so we

Should be able to get two more regular old storage drawers which of course just requires some planks like this and our pre-existing chests here and here and then with two of those we should be able to fairly easily throw those down I’ll put them down for now probably up

Against the back wall here if we do this and this we can then do the exact same thing we’ve done here we can put down the two resource generators here and here we then want one of those for stone and one for Cobblestone which is just

Boom and boom and those are going to just passively generate Stone and Cobblestone forers and deposit them into these drawers so going forward we shouldn’t have to worry about mining for Cobblestone and we shouldn’t have to worry about smelting that Cobblestone for regular Stone speaking of which I

Did also uh add some trap doors here at the recommendation of the twitch chat as well and uh it looks like we do have some kind of mod installed that allows us to open all of these at once as well and so now whenever we have to go down

We can open the door and go down and hopefully we’re not going to spend as much time this episode kind of randomly falling down into this hole anyway as I was saying back over here uh we need Stone to make the pressure chamber wall and we also need more compressed iron

Because right now we can make three lots of this and then we can use that of course to make uh 24 reinforced bricks so we can use that actually to make a surprising amount of pressure chamber wall actually so the pressure chamber for those who don’t know is a

3x3x3 multiblock structure so I’m going to put it over in this back corner over here let’s do 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 like this and for the time being I’m going to just build out a 3X3 square that looks something like this now in order to

Actually formulate this into a working multi block I believe we do need the uh interface and the valve so let’s quickly go see if we can’t make those the valve looked like it required quite a lot of compressed iron and so I think the first thing that we’re going to want to do

Here is get a few more blocks of regular iron speaking of which I should continue to put more of our iron up into here again I was smelting more copper between streams for those copper meshes and whatnot and again we’re out of power here this is not a particularly good

Situation for us to be in because all of our fuel is currently locked up inside of the refined storage system but this is why I’m carrying a hopper around with me I do want to do something like this so we can fill this up with coal or tiny

Coal and have that continue to pump into the generator luckily for us coal is acquired via terra cotta on the extract Tator and so if we just do a quick right click on the extract Tator with our large amount of Terra Cotta we can get a decent amount of coal and bring the

Generator back online but we should definitely make sure that there’s always call inside of this Hopper uh to keep power going there are other power options and I’m hopeful that before the end of today’s stream we could at least start looking at some of those power

Options the one that stands out to me is actually one that I think is part of new quest line on the right hand side here we have access to solar panels from end and this one really doesn’t seem too difficult to make everything here looks pretty straightforward we do need to

Make three photovoltic plates and to make these we have to smelt the photovoltaic composite which does require that we get a sag Mill and so we are going to have to kind of detour into the age of diamonds a little bit to get that sag Mill but I don’t think that’s

Going to be too difficult and is something we should look into sooner rather than later later to make sure that we don’t have to keep topping this thing up with coal or risk losing access to our items either way now that we have the block of iron we should be able to

Hopefully start transmuting these with the entropy manipulator into compressed iron so long as you do it correctly I think we have to shift right click here or left click hold on let me check the uh the quest again it says shift right click on a block of iron with the

Entropy manipulator to obtain compressed iron there’s now scorching iron a very hot block that can be used used to heat the refinery this is made by smelting a block of iron I’m not quite sure how we’ve ended up with the uh the scorched iron there let me quickly charge the

Entropy manipulator a little bit and then let me try this again okay that worked I’m not quite sure what happened here I don’t know how we ended up with a a scotching block of iron what I wanted to do was acquire a couple of um compressed iron pieces we need at least

Eight if we’re going to make the pressure chamber valve it does also require pressure tubing here which requires at least two more so that’s 10 minimum and then thankfully the interface here doesn’t seem too bad it’s just two pressure wall and the hopper we do still have some sprad chamber wall as

Well the twitch saying it might just be the the sun potentially which possibly or maybe it’s just because we heated it up too far I have no idea maybe I right clicked instead of shift right clicking and that might have been what did it the

Good news is is that there is a quest for this and so when we get to using the refinery the fact that we have the scorched iron block that’s going to be a quest complete for us either way back over here we’re actually still one Ingot

Away from from being able to make this happen so let’s do one more of these and then now back over here we should be able to make our first set of pressure tube which does require some glass which I think we should have if I’m not mistaken over in one of these furnaces

I’m fairly certain we were smelting up glass previously we were indeed let me get another stack of glass going for future Isaac and then back over here let’s make that pressure tube and let’s go ahead and make the pressure valve along with ideally the pressure chamber interface which just requires one more

Hopper nice so back over here I am going to go ahead and place down the pressure chamber valve which I think might be the only thing required to actually form the multi block it is indeed and so technically this is like a fully functioning pressure chamber however

Currently if we wanted to actually use this we’d have to continually break part of it to drop items into it and then put the multi block back together in order to use it which is not really IDE deal and so what we’re going to want to do is

Take out two of these Center wall pieces like this and ideally not leave one in the middle there and ideally we’re going to want to place down the interfaces here and here like that and I think these might want to go the other way around cuz I think we currently have one

I think we currently have them both set to input I think we want one of these set to Output which I think you can do by just placing it down the other way around and you’ll see in here that uh blue is input and orange is output so

Now we should be able to feed items into this side and then pull the items out on this side and now the only thing we’re really missing in order to make this work is some way of getting pressure into the pressure chamber because the way the newcraft works instead of

Requiring power in the form of something like Redstone flux it requires pressure and you’ll see we have this pressure gauge on the right hand side it’s currently set at zero we want this to be somewhere between zero and 5 the higher it is the more pressure it has if you go

Too far and you over pressurize it there’s a chance that it will explode which is of course not what we want to do thankfully we can get pressure fairly easily using this air compressor right here to make the air compressor we are just missing a regular Old Furnace

Thankfully that’s easy enough to make especially given that we have unlimited Cobblestone coming in now we’re at 44 on both of those of course we could make these faster with some augment blocks as well but I don’t think that’s currently necessary on either of those but now

Back over here we can place the air compressor down and you’ll see on the back that it has a little hole on it that is where it outputs its pressure and so now in here we can use regular coal to produce pressure all we have to

Do is place the fuel into the fuel slot here like that and that is going to start burning the coal to produce pressure and then that pressure will get transferred into the pressure chamber and if we look again for example at the recipe here for the compressed iron this

Requires a pressure between two bar and five bar so we need at least two to five bar of pressure to make this work and you’ll see that slowly but surely this is going to start to go up as this produces pressure you can put multiple of these down so we could put down

Another pipe on either side for example and put down two more air compressors that might not be a terrible idea given the speed which this is currently going at I don’t know if we’re going to have enough of the uh the bricks yeah we’re not of course we can make more furnaces

Very easily in terms of making more bricks though it shouldn’t be too difficult it doesn’t require much in the way of compressed iron and so in fact I will go ahead and make two lots of those and then we can craft those into the reinforced bricks and from there we

Should be able to make two more air compressors fairly quickly and we have the exact number of pressure tubes required here to do something like this and like this and like this and like this and so now if we go ahead and put some fuel into each one of these we

Should start to see the pressure gauge going up substantially faster inside of the pressure chamber and by the way the pressure PR is the same across the network so no matter which machine you open up they’re all going to share the the same pressure because the pressure

Level is the same no matter where you are in the network here really all we need to do is place just some regular old iron into the input slot and of course I didn’t do this earlier I didn’t put any fuel in there so that’s not

Smelting iron that is fine we do have iron available in our system and so we’re going to take that iron and we’re going to quickly eat some of this bread we are now completely out of cactus which is uh not ideal but our wheat is coming in nice and quickly so it’s not

Really too bad but over here if we put one iron ingot in here I do this every time I’m fairly certain that somewhat annoyingly you have to Hopper into the input slot so real quick let me grab a hopper you can also item pipe into it as

Well I believe and we might even have to item pipe out of the output slot but if we put a hopper down like this we should be able then to put a piece of iron in that iron should then go into the chamber once we hit at least two bars

Worth of pressure we should then see the iron get transformed and get sent to the output slot here and then all we’ll do from there is we’ll put down another pipe like this and if we grab a chest we should be able to place that chest down

Of course right about here and then set this to extract on the side of the pressure chamber you can also click up here to get an exact number of uh current pressure at 1.87 bar right now and so we can of course put more fuel in

Here to keep this thing going we just want to make make sure we don’t get too high on pressure if the pressure does get too high uh breaking the pipe will release that pressure and so you can do that to prevent any of these from

Exploding but as soon as we get to the right amount you’ll see that uh it starts to work you can kind of hear it working in the background here and look at that it made compressed iron which is pretty cool I believe it does use a little bit of pressure but for example

If we put a full 31 in there it should take that iron and it should begin processing it one thing you can do is you can make glass pressure chamber wall which allows you to kind of see inside and see what’s going on it’s not strictly necessary but it does make it a

Little easier to see what’s what’s happening but you’ll see here that as soon as the iron is in there it shows the uh the required range for it to work it looks like it has taken all 31 iron at once which is completely fine and

Ideally as soon as we get back up to two bar here I think it’s going to transform all 31 iron into compressed iron and then deposit all 31 compressed iron into the chest and you can kind of hear those little pops in in the background as it

Does its job it looks like the way it’s kind of working here is it does use a little bit of pressure to make it happen and there we go look at that we have got 32 compressed iron it did use a little bit of pressure there but it’s climbing

Back up pretty quickly and yeah this is pretty good there are ways you can kind of ultimate this in the future to prevent um excess air uh for example there are little safety tube modules you can uh place this I believe down onto a pipe it says this module will vent High

Press air if the two pressure reaches 4.9 bar although this prevents explosions released Air is energy loss and is wasteful so you can make this and it might be a good idea for us to make this just in case we do get up to that five bar amount accidentally um there

Are also I believe safety upgrades that you can place into the air compressors themselves as well into other machines to uh to prevent the pressure getting too high for us though if we just go ahead and quickly craft up two levers we can make this safety valve and if we

Place this safety valve onto our pipe let’s say right about I think I placed that in the wrong place hold on so you can hear the uh the gas leaving let me put that back down if I put it down here I think I somehow placed it on this side that was

Connected to the pressure chamber which is not ideal but you’ll see it’s right here on this side and now if we go into this kind of Red Zone it will just start releasing some of the pressure to allow the system to not explode which is ideal

And so that’s kind of the basics of pneumatic craft but now we can utilize what we have here to push further forward and now that we can make things like compressed iron more easily and more efficiently it’s going to allow us to do more with the mtic craft and what

I want to focus on now is getting some drones because we can use some of these drones specifically the harvesting drone and the collecting drone to I think very easily automate a pretty big wheat farm so both of these are made in Fairly similar ways they’re both made in the

Exact same way in fact they each require four of these turbine rotters and so if if we’re going to make turbine rotors we need compressed iron and we need turbine blades and the turbine blades are made with gold and red stone as well as the pressure between one and five that’s

Completely fine gold has been chug away we’ve got 167 gold over here which I’m very happy to see I’ll take half a stack of that Redstone I think we’re not doing quite as well on in fact we have basically no Redstone but over here we do have a lot of crystallized menual

Chunks that we can begin transforming into Redstone using our strainer and I will move over the improved everything up upgrade here and also I’ll move over the iron mesh as well to hopefully get us a decent amount of redstone here although it has been brought to my

Attention that we can use higher tier meshes to increase our chances I believe on getting Redstone and also to make things faster and whatnot so you’ll see that there are different tiers of mesh here and if we look up the different tiers of mesh I think the gold mesh

Could be worth investing in for now though we’ll take half a snack of redstone and over here we should be able to do the exact same thing that we just did with the compressed iron but this time we’re looking to make the turbine rotors so if we want to make eight

Turbine rotors that means that we need 24 turbine blades which means we need 24 gold and 48 Redstone so we are actually a little shy on the Redstone front thankfully it is coming in let me get exactly 24 gold I’ll put the rest back for the time being and then we’ll get 48

Redstone again we’ll try and go for exactly 8 that way we can just D all of the Redstone and all of the gold into this Hopper here like this and like that and that should hopefully all filter in it might actually be faster to use an

Item pipe as opposed to using a hopper to uh to funnel this in but for now this should do the trick again I will make sure that we put some coal into here just to make sure the pressure is nice and high and therefore the the process should complete nice and

Fast ooh hold on does redstone just get turned into something else in the pressure chamber it doesn’t oh no we’re good okay I was a little worried for a second there that like just putting Redstone in might transfer it into something else but it looks like the gold is now being taken

And so with both of those in there there we go that’s the right setup and you can hear all the popping going on inside there and once that’s all done look at that we got loads of blades and again you can’t take these out here you have to put them into

A chest I am being told by the twitch chat that you might be able to just put a chest directly next to the uh the interface and that might just Auto eject them which would be the the better way of doing it ideally that is 22 and

There’s our final 224 perfect so now that we have these let’s see if we can’t make some drones so if we do something like this and by this I mean like this yes that’s correct uh one two one and boom we can make eight lots of turbine rotors and then to make the

Collector drone we just need a single Minecraft Hopper easy enough and to make the harvesting drone we just need some kind of food item wheat potato anything really will do the trick and boom we now have two drones now to use these drones we are going to need a charging station

Because much like everything else in pneumaticcraft these require pressure you’ll see right now they have zero bar I think they can go to a Mex of 10 bar but essentially they use pressure as their form of power and so in order to charge them we need a charging state

This again fairly easy to make three brick one pressure tube and then one reinforced stone slab again the reinforced Stone here is not too difficult especially now that we have more of that compressed iron and boom we have a charging station which for the time being we can go ahead and place

Down right about here that’s going to get pressure from our current system and now if we put down for example our collecting drone and you put it in like so that’s going to start filling up with pressure albeit somewhat slowly you can make speed upgrades as part of new

Mcraft however to make the speed upgrades you do need lubricant and lubricant is is quite an involved process this is where you need a Thermon numatic processing plant uh that processes biodiesel or diesel into lubricant and to get the diesel you have to process oil using a Refinery this is

All stuff we could potentially do because we do have the refiner here we do have uh the oil of course is just over there I believe if that’s our oil marker it is indeed and so that is something we could do sooner rather than later for now though I think this should

Work and just to kind of show how this is going to work let me make sure I get both of these to have a little bit of charge in them they are both fairly straightforward drones essentially with the collector drone all we have to do is

Place down a chest or any inventory will work shift right click the Drone onto that inventory you can do this on the side as well it doesn’t have to be on the top and then now this will collect items within a 17x 17 area around the

Drone if you hover over it it does say right here 17 x 17 x 17 areas so up and down as well you can increase that range there are range upgrades uh if we come back over to the charger you’ll notice there’s an option right here to manage

The upgrades for the Drone and uh you can put in speed upgrades volume upgrades item life upgrades standby upgrades and security upgrades as well as I think range upgrades if I’m not mistaken to make the range bigger even though it doesn’t say it here um either

Way we’ll take this guy as well actually I’ll leave you there for now I’ll let you uh keep uh keep charging up I’ve really got to stopped walking into that fire but over here now if I were to for example Harvest some of this wheat we should see The Collector drone look at

That collect the items and place it into the chest very cool stuff it should do the same for the wheat fantastic and the reason we need that is because the Harvester drone doesn’t actually do any harvesting it will just harvest the crops and then leave them on the ground

So for the Harvester drone we want to put down a chest the Harvester drone does require a h in order to work so let’s get get a ho and let’s place that into the chest we can then take the Harvester drone the twitch is making a good point here in that the Harvester

Drone might harvest my Cactus I’m actually not too sure about that my plan by the way is to move this and is to set up a much larger Farm area potentially a giant 17 x 17 Farm area to really maximize the amount of wheat that we are

Producing but if we go ahead and place the Harvester drone again shift right click onto a chest that has a hoe in it you’ll see the Drone picks up the uh the hoe it’s a little bit terrifying and it is going to begin harvesting our cactus of course eventually hopefully it will

Also get round to the wheat so we’re going to want to build the farm kind of far enough away to where it ideally doesn’t pick up the cactus oh NOP come on please okay so um there we go that’s what we want to see we want to see him

Harvesting all of the wheat um we definitely want to make sure it’s far away from the cactus so that we don’t have our drones taking damage CU they do have hearts you’ll see at the top there and so they can die which is not ideal now you’ll also notice he ran out of

Pressure there which is um is not ideal either we do want to get a wrench from pneumatic craft that’s this guy right here the pneumatic wrench requires a lever I probably should have done this before we made the drones it also requires a an Air Canister which seems

Easy enough and then we need orange dye which we can make with red dye and yellow dye I don’t know if we have an easy way oh we can buy it from the catalog okay so let me grab some scraps and then let’s go quickly check out the

Catalog over here could I acquire some orange dye I totally can fantastic back over here let’s do one of these and then I don’t know if this requires any um any pressure to actually use if I uh oh no I want to it might require some pressure

To use actually normally you can shift right click to pick those up let me quickly get a little bit of pressure inside of this pneumatic wrench again same idea we just throw it h whoops we just throw it into here and that’s going to slowly but surely uh charge up and

Then we can go ahead and sneak right click to uh go pick up our drones potentially once it has a little bit of pressure in it the good news about the drones is that they will there we go oops so we got that guy back he looked

Like he died but he’s fine don’t worry about him uh the good news about the drones is that if they have a charging station nearby they will go ahead and I should have been more careful though I could have lost the Drone not that it’s particularly expensive to um to remake

But if there’s a charging station nearby that has a specific upgrade they will go and charge them elves up when their pressure Falls below one bar the upgrade that we are after is this one right here the dispenser upgrade so for this we need a dispenser which is easy enough if

You have Cobblestone and if you have Redstone both of which we do have that’s going to allow us to make a regular old Minecraft dispenser and then from there we also need four lapis as well one two three four and that should be everything for the dispenser upgrade the dispenser

Upgrade is going to allow us to kind of upgrade our charging station here again you can place it in like this and now this is going to be usable by the drones for charging and so if the Drone Falls I believe it’s below one bar worth of

Pressure and if the uh I think the charging station might have to be within its radius So within the 17 x 17 range then it should go and recharge it won’t recharge if it’s fully dead which is not ideal because our drone currently is fully dead but if we were to take our

Collector drone for example which is somehow on negative .2 bar let me go and put the Drone in here let’s get this charged up ideally to over one bar maybe like 1.1 1.2 1.3 something like that and then we’ll place it down we’ll see if we

Can’t drain it beneath one bar and we’ll see if it does actually charge upon its own if it does we can then look at kind of moving the entirety of our uh Farm over here to a new area we can look at setting up a giant 17 x 17 farm with

Like a charger in the middle again with potentially some of these air compressors to keep the charger going I do want to make sure I get all of this uh wheat and all of these wheat seeds over here so that we can effectively set up that giant 17x 17 farm when the time

Comes we got well over a stack of wheat seeds now though which I’m very happy with I’ll put all those in there for the time being and of course there is more that we can harvest in just a second but over here let’s see how are we doing on

Pressure we’re at .4 I’m going to keep filling these up with fuel and we’ll see if we can’t get this to just over one bar okay so this is up at 1 one bar if we do the same thing here if we place this down this is now within the range

Of the charging station we’ll put this down here and you know we’ll drop some redstone on the ground the Drone should start picking that Redstone up and it should deposit it into the chest and I’m hopeful that once its pressure Falls below one bar you can see it’s pressure

At the top there is still 1.1 bar let’s keep it going we should hopefully see the Drone head over to the charging station kind of of its own volition and try and recharge it does look like it collects a lot of items before it loses even like 0.1 bars so I’m quite happy

About that we’re still at 1.1 it might take a little while here for that to to happen you know what let me just start dropping kind of all the junk in my inventory here will’ll let the uh the Drone you know really get to work putting stuff away so now it’s down to

One bar it might be when it hits like 0.9 that it thinks about going and repressurizing it also might be like when it has nothing to pick up which is it’s likely to be the case quite regularly when it’s out on the wheat field because the wheat does grow pretty

Slowly so it’s not going to be collecting a lot of stuff all at once but I’m hopeful that as soon as we see this drop to .9 it should look at that it makes its way over to the charger that little release of gas there has

Nothing to do with the Drone by the way that was just those getting into the the red but you’ll see this is over here and you’ll see it’s back up to 1.1 bar 1.2 bar potentially 1.3 bar and sooner rather than later it it doesn’t fill all

The way up it’ll stay there for a little bit and then uh as soon as it’s ready it will head on back out and pick things up again and so that’s kind of the basic idea of this charging setup I’m fairly certain that we can utilize just the one

Charger for multiple drones I I think the Drone will leave somewhat soon I I don’t think it’s going to fill up to four but it might do you know it might wait uh until there’s no pressure left in here I’m not too sure again this is where speed upgrades would be helpful

There’s a possibility that if it spends more than 5 minutes charging we could lose like a random bit of wheat or a random seed but I think in general the system should work fairly well here you know what let me leave something on the ground that I don’t mind losing like

Some Cobblestone instead of uh the only Redstone that we have but essentially now what we’re going to do is we’re going to uh kind of move the whole wheat farm potentially a little further this way far enough away that the cacti don’t get harvested and then we’re going to

Set up a giant 17x 177 area with probably a little bit of a patch in the middle maybe like a 5×5 patch in the center for things like the charging stations and for things like the chests here to allow us to fully automate the production of wheat seeds Okay so I’m

Currently working on getting more dirt which I’m getting via samplings because our last Expedition out to to find dirt did not go particularly well and I’m also about to dig out an area over here for the 17 x 17 Wheat Farm but the twitch chat does make a good point and

That is that uh whilst we are kind of doing stuff here we should continually breed our chickens CU they do take a bit of time to uh to grow up so what we should probably do here is pop on inside find our two best chickens which I

Believe are this guy the 655 and this guy the 667 so I’ll breed these two together to get an even higher tier chicken and then we did also breed kind of a second tier of good chickens which I believe is you and you and that’s

Going to get us like another tier of of goodness and we do have enough wheat seeds now to where I think we can probably even go as far as to breed some of the other chickens as well like this guy’s a 111 which I’m not really too

Interested in but this guy’s are 223 and then if we breed the 223 with anybody but a one1 this guy here the 323 like that that’s going to continue to get as more chickens and uh basically I’ll come back to this every now and again to um to try and continue

To breed the chickens so we can keep trying to to get towards that 10101 chicken and then once we have that 10 10 10 chicken we can just continually breed that to get even more chickens and of course we can just keep harvesting over here to get more wheat more seeds and

Again I don’t know if it’s been a change in the pack or if it’s just a change to the fact that we can now right click and we don’t have to replant the seed but um I feel like the seeds are coming in so much faster on this uh on this newest

Update which again I’m very happy about but anyway let me uh continue to get some more dirt so we can build out this giant 17x 177 area one thing that I do always forget that uh we definitely can do here and should do here we can use

The dirt here alongside gravel to make this Co dirt and we do have a fair bit of gravel in here we got it from our last little mining Expedition we should definitely be doing this because uh it takes two dirt and two gravel to make

Four cost dirt but then if we place this down and we just Hur that dirt we can then turn it back into dirt and then we can just pick it up and I think that’s going to be a much much faster way of producing dirt than growing trees over

And over again because we don’t really get that much dirt from each tree and it does really run through our shears very quickly also you can uh just use Uline if you have it set to shapeless you can hold the Uline key right click it will

Hold them all at the same time and then of course you can also use Tim mine along with a shovel to break them all nice and quickly we’ve managed to go from however much dirt we had up to 24 let’s take 24 let’s do the same thing

Again we’ll do this and this so that’s 48 C dirt now and we can then turn that into 48 dirt and then we can repeat the process over and over and over again to get uh more dirt we’re basically turning gravel into dirt and of course we can

Get gravel using cobblestone on the squeezer it is possible that it might not be a terrible idea here for us to look at the mechanical squeezer at this point in time the mechanical squeezer though does require diamonds diamonds we get using ender iio I believe never mind they’re made with the pressure chamber

And eight coal blocks interesting so if we do this we have enough to make 16 Co blocks so we could take this this we could also eat because we are very low on Hunger here and if we place all eight of those coal blocks into this pressure chamber assuming we have enough

Pressure four and five it’s quite high but we are very close to being between four and five let me craft these back down into coal and let’s put just a tiny bit of coal into here that should hopefully tick us over into five I think

You also do lose a tiny bit of pressure when these open up to to allow items in but once that’s done that should get us a diamond and that diamond should allow us to make this mechanical squeezer we do also need obsidian here which we can do by cooling down lava that’s

Interesting the only trouble there I do wonder if this I think this might just pop the obsidian down I don’t think it’s going to transform the lava but it might do I’m just thinking about when we right click on the iron block it kind of just

Uh pops out the compressed iron let me give this a try let’s charge this up real quick CH is also writing that we should maybe make a third battery here we can make two batteries for this we should maybe make a third battery so that there’s kind of uh backlog power

That the charger can use cuz right now the charger does not hold a lot of power and whenever we try and use it we do start taking away power from our other devices which is not ideal but if we take that out we do have a little bit of

Lava left over here and byy a little bit I mean exactly one bucket left if I do this and then let me quickly check the recipe again just to make sure I don’t mess it up shift plus right click so if I shift right click it does make it into

Obsidian which is not ideal I mean we could probably look at making a diamond pickaxe we would have to make three diamonds for the pickaxe and then one more Diamond after that we do have our one Diamond here but outside of doing that I don’t know of a better way for us

To make obsidian because we don’t have the fluid mixer we don’t have an obsidian chicken and we don’t have a a heat frame cooling for our tank so yeah I think what we might have to do here is get some more Terra cot just kind of process that

Terra Cotter as much as we can with the extractinator try and get 24 more blocks of coal which is a lot of coal but I think is probably doable and then utilize that to get a diamond pickaxe so we can pick up that obsidian actually chat is right here and that the fluid

Mixer might be the better way to go we are going to leave a piece of obsidian on the floor there unfortunately but I don’t think we’re going to get enough coal from the Terra Cotter we currently have and although we could go get more Terra Cotter it’s a little bit tedious

Whereas the fluid mixer here just gives us the obsidian from lava and water and only requires pressure so to make it we need three small fluid tanks which are going to be a little expensive on the iron and compressed iron front but I don’t think it’s anything that we can’t

Afford here let’s do one and then put the glass in two and three we also need a pipe which we should have we need another turbine rotor which we can definitely make with gold and Redstone and then we need some reinforced brick walls which we totally have what it

Takes to make and so now it’s just in case of getting another one of these turbine rotors for that we need three more gold and six more Redstone 1 2 3 4 5 six take you and then over here we can go and grab 1 2 3 and if we drop all of

Those into our pressure chamber boom boom that should get us the turbine blades required to make the turbine rotter and that should be everything for the fluid mixer the only thing we’re going to be missing at that point is um Lava which thankfully we can go and grab

From our nearby lava pool and in fact we might as well grab our portable tank here and just got to fill it up with lava and in fact if we wanted to we could grab four more gold as well as the glass pans which I think we have in here and we can

Actually upgrade this to hold even more liquid so we can bring 16 buckets of lava Bank instead of eight these blades are done fantastic and so back over here let’s craft up one of these turbine rotors we’re missing one reinforced iron that is unfortunate that’s fine though

We’ll take another half stack of iron and we’ll get that Pro processing over in here boom uh speaking of iron let’s make sure that we continue to cycle out more iron here again hopefully the plan here is to get coal automated with the 101010 chicken if we can do that we can

Then hopefully altimate the process of making iron so we don’t have to keep manually moving it over to the blast furnace like we’re doing currently but um as soon as we get this last bit of iron here we should be pretty much good to go and then we’ll head on over get

Some lava and see about using this fluid mixer to make obsidian let’s do uh not that let’s do this and then that and then we can probably just add this to our pre-existing setup over here let’s say we place it down like I’m going to put it down here that actually

Looks like it’s connected just fine I didn’t know that the uh connection was on the right hand side there but that seems to be completely fine and so let’s quickly go grab some lava and see if we can’t make this obsidian and 16 buckets of lava later I think we should be good

To go let me right click a bucket of water into the fluid mixer let’s also right click a bucket of lava in there as well and boom it’s just that easy we have obsidian nice the twitch chat did also point out that we might be able to

Use a Block Breaker as well so this could have also been an option I’m not entirely certain if this will like definitely break the obsidian I I’m almost certain it will but either way we now have the obsidian and so we should now be able to use that obsidian to make

The mechanical squeezer so the only other things we need here are the regular squeezer which we have and then two energy batteries so for that we need a fair bit of crystallized manal but thankfully we’ve now got a bunch of the stuff over in here we can always grab

More if we need to replenish our stocks we also need two blocks of redstone which again should not be a problem we’ve got 44 spending 18 here on two blocks is I think going to be completely worthwhile in fact as I mentioned a second ago we should go ahead and grab a

Third block as well as two more blocks of menal to allow us to get that extra battery and we’ll use that battery and just just a second the only thing we’re now missing is the actual squeezer from over here or the the me the non mechanical squeezer in my mind

Mechanical like is synonymous with doing it on your own like doing it manually but it’s kind of the opposite in in this scenario in this pack the mechanical squeezer is the one that we don’t do mechanically either way we now have the non- mechanical squeezer and so if we

Were to maybe break the inscriber break I don’t really want to break the charger because we’ got the little setup here but I think we should move it let’s move this let’s put a battery down here that’s going to start to fill up with power from the generator we can then I

Hope put the charger just on top like that although that does appear to not be receiving power which is interesting we might have to invest in some energy pipes in order to make this work those are also not too bad they are pretty Redstone intensive although again we can

Get more Redstone via this process right here and it doesn’t look like we needed too much more Redstone to make that second block although we do need I think at least one more red St on top of that to uh to actually make the energy pipes

But these work in a very similar way to the item pipes in that we can just extract from the battery and if we put for example our charger down right about here like so uh and we set this on the left hand side to extract that should

Start to fill up on power it totally does we can put the inscriber down next to it like this and I’ll probably end up moving these and you know replacing down these chests to allow us to do some automation again in the future but for now if we put this here the mechanical

Squeezer is also going to f up on Power and the best part is that once everything here is fill up on power the battery will start to slowly back up on a million Redstone flux and then whenever we want to use something like the charger it shouldn’t be as

Bottlenecked by the slow generator that we’re currently using so over here if we just go and grab some Cobblestone from our alter Cobble gen we can then drop that in that’s going to slowly but surely produce gravel for us and then we can use that gravel along with our dirt

To make our cost dirt and then duplicate the dirt that we have on top of that we can also make a one here the wand is super useful in that it makes it easier to place down large amounts of the same block so if we do something like this we

Can then use our wand to place down more dirt quickly and then of course again we can hold down our ultim mine key Hur all of this Uline key again break it all with the shovel and we’ve now got 48 dirt and then back over here we can then

Combine that dirt with yet more gravel boom and boom and now we’ve got a stack and a half of dirt and we can repeat that same process again we can place all of this down it’s not ideal when we place down these little extra bits but

We can then use our wand again to do this this this and then keep placing it down until all of our dirt is done you can only do a stack at a time I believe with Tim mine so it’s not quite going to do all of it and uh it’s not ideal

Either when L patches of it start to to dehydrate but either way it is still much faster than using the sampling method and using the leaves method and should allow us to get more than enough dirt in a very short period of time to hopefully fill out this 17x 17 Tree Farm

Area over here I will put that torch back down because I don’t want any Rog mobs spawning around here we’re not quite there we’re almost halfway towards making this uh this entire pinch but using the uh method I just showed we should be able to get this set up fairly

Quickly all right so a little bit more gravel and dirt converting later we now have a 17x 17 platform of dirt with a little 3×3 area of cobblestone in the middle and what I’ve done here is I’ve placed down a cobblestone stair on the corner and in fact I’m going to do the

Exact same thing uh kind of I think all the way around the outside edge here and I’m going to water log those stairs just to give us a decent amount of space to build stuff on whilst also allowing us to hydrate our crops if we do this we

Can then just water log those stairs and that then allows us to hydrate a decent area I need another H but that allows us to hydrate a decent area around the center with water and then to maximize the amount of usable Farmland I think I’m also going to put some water around

The outside to hydrate these outside edges as well what we’re also going to do is we’re going to grab two chests one for the Harvester and one for the collector and as I mentioned in a previous episode we do have the iron Chest mod installed and so I think it’s

Well worth upgrading our chest to an iron chest and then from there we can even grab eight gold from here and we should be able to upgrade from an iron chest to a gold chest the gold chest looks like this and this is just a much larger version of a regular chest which

I think is exactly what we want we really only need that for the collector chest because the other chest just needs to hold a her for our Harvester I think it will use the her and so I do think that kind of periodically we are going

To have to add more her to that chest or maybe just like dump a few of them in at the start and kind of let it do its thing I think it’s going to last a long time though and it’s not really something we have to worry about too too

Much but um over here we are going to quickly actually grab some more Cobblestone stairs because I do need a few more of those to uh to make this work Cobblestone wise we’re doing completely fine now thanks to our cobblestone generator and so back over here let’s go ahead and throw

Down our stairs here here here and here fantastic we’ll water loock those in just a second in fact can I I can that does make unlimited water source in the center which I probably should have known but either way I’m pretty sure that is all now uh water log

Then we can begin just kind of hoing up the area around here I think this is kind of as far as it will go I don’t think it’s going to go all the way out this far because it’s not you know quite that much water but anyway now that we

Have that let’s throw down some chests so I’ll put one here and that’s going to be for our collector drone so we’ll put the collector drone down like so and O in fact yeah it’s going to be a little tricky because this is not going to be

Able to collect stuff that goes out a bit further in that Direction which is awkward and kind of makes me think that we might want to do this a different way I know I have just made this golden chest it kind of should be fine though

Actually let me move I’m going to put the golden chest just in the middle and we’ll maybe just use one chest for both of these potentially we can build upwards that is a very good point actually chat let me put this here like that and then let’s go ahead and let’s

Build vertically like this we’ll put the other chest down let’s say right about here like this and then we’ll put our harvesting drone onto that chest and then we’ll use that to harvest that makes a lot more sense to what I was going to try and do and we do also

Of course want to get the harvesting drone out of here and we want to make sure that we do have the charger as well and along the same lines we should also steal one of these air compressors so that we can keep those drones charged so

Over here let me throw down the charging station I’ll put that down let’s say right about there and I said there it’s lost all of its pressure that’s fine I’m going to do it like this so they can charge up of course and then oh here we’re going to

Place down our harvesting drone like so nice and so now I think really all we need to do look at that it’s picking up stuff on me already thanks buddy all we need to do we need to make sure that there’s fuel in here it might not be a

Terrible idea actually to move this over by one I should have done this with my wrench not my hand but if we do it like this and we replace in the uh the dispenser upgrade that’s going to allow us to put another one of those safety

Filters on here and that way we can kind of just keep pumping this thing full of coal and uh and and keep doing it that way there’s also security upgrades so security upgrades are these ones adds a buil-in safety valve to the machine automatically releasing some if the pressure would D

Too high so the security valve kind of does the same thing as the the safety valve all the security upgrade I should say does the same thing as the safety valve and so yeah now it should really just be a case of taking all of our seeds from over

Here and of course uh all of the seeds from here as well we do have quite a few of them fantastic and just kind of filling out this area like I said a second ago my plan is to is to build up the area around this with some water to

Allow us to uh to maximally kind of hydrate everything here but these are going to slowly but Surly begin to grow another thing we can do if we wanted to ecount a little bit more in the way of crop growth here is we could also look

At the crop sticks which I think might be under the useful item section they are indeed these crop supports um I think we’ll look at those maybe in the next episode but you can put those down I believe to increase the speed at which some of these crops grow which would be

Tremendously useful in that um it would just get a seeds faster which is great and then I think what we’ll do is we will just kind of set up a well there’s a few things we could do here actually we could use item pipes to extract from

This chest kind of out the bottom and bring the seeds back home we could also Al potentially look at using a different drone because there are other drones that you can make and you can kind of program drones to uh to move items for us and in the interest of consistency I

Might do that we might look at setting up a drone that kind of pulls the seeds from here and takes them over to like a drawer or a chest that’s near our chicken area I think that would be uh you know more in theme than just kind of

Running a pipe from uh from point A to point B and we could also have it put the wheat into potentially a different drawer maybe set up like a little bread making station as well to to automate that kind of stuff uh real quick let me

Check on my my chickens here how are we doing I should just use the git so we The Annoying Thing is we do have um a lot of chickens now that are a little bit useless I’m looking for our best one 878 is pretty good 858 is also pretty

Good 979 is real close to where we want to be here do we have any of those are that high I think we might have to breed our 878 with our 979 so let me get that 878 and then the 979 has been lost somewhere where are you at

You’re here boom that’s going to get us pretty close I think to a 10 10 10 this guy is 10910 he’s real close to where we want to be and so next time we should be able to come back and very quickly hopefully get a 10 10 10 between streams

I might do a little bit more breeding to to get some others up to that amount so we can start you know getting some more 10 1010 to to kind of breed together but um but yeah this is I think basically a an alterated wheat farm and again

Ideally right now there’s no um pressure in there but we should go ahead and throw some fuel in there ideally next time we’ll come back we’ll look at getting ourselves a let me just check there’s enough coal in there I did move this as well by the way so that now uh

Instead of the generator being here next to the controller the generator is here so that the controller from the system can also get power from the battery just a small change there but um ideally next time we’re going to come back and we’re going to take one of our 1010 chickens

Pump It full of coal between streams I’ll probably go and get some more terra cotta so we can make all of that coal because we do need to feed 200 and 56 coal into one chicken and before I put the coal in there let me go get a safety

Valve but we do need to pump 256 coal into one chicken to transform it into a coal chicken but then from there on out we can basically turn wheat seeds into coal via that coal chicken and we can then use the coal from that coal chicken

To Ultimate our wheat seed farm and also hopefully ultimate the production of things like iron and also ultimate uh potentially just like the the charger as well now people have pointed out that we can get a fluid compressor which might not be a bad idea because there are also

Ways for us to automate the production of lava which is also something I think we should definitely look into because getting this uh to not use coal would also be ideal but yeah this is working pretty well um unfortunately I don’t think we have any burn meal and so we

Can’t really see this thing in action yeah we got no B meal there which is unfortunate because again we’re not going to see it working but I’m fairly certain that as we saw earlier this should get the job done we should see it collecting wheat replanting it between

Streams I’ll go ahead and and kind of dig out an area around the edge here and what I’ll probably do is I’ll probably get some wood and maybe put like a wood trim around the edge so around like this and then we might just have some exposed water around the outside we obviously

Don’t need water going all the way around the outside but given that it’s infinite and easy enough to do I feel like we might as well and then we can go ahead and fill in the remainder of the space here with water to allow us to uh

You know maximize the amount of wheat that we are getting cool so next time we’ll come back we’ll potentially look at crop supports we’ll definitely look at getting that 101 10 chicken up and running getting it turned into a cold chicken and also of course hopefully seeing this in action because hopefully

By then there’ll be some wheat that is grown and ready to go we can also then look at alternating this either with the coal generator or with a fluid compressor if we do end up timating lava and of course we can look forward at getting into endio and potentially

Getting some solar panels so we don’t have to rely too much on coal but of course once we do have the coal alternated we can then continually send the coal around via that coal chicken into our call generator to keep everything going for now though I’m
