Yo guys what’s up my name is Joe Kraft and welcome to the very first video of 2020 I know it’s been a very long break but I’m finally back with this extra special projects I’ve been wanting to try and do for a really long time now The idea is to try and build in Minecraft using only giant replica blocks which should make for a really crazy fun and interesting concept to try out now I’m sure some of you guys must have noticed that pretty much everything in Minecraft is made up of individual smaller blocks Or pixels and by everything I mean everything portals items blocks BIG’s your very own Minecraft skin and even the sky okay maybe not the sky but the thing is we might not be able to replicate these blocks precisely because of course we don’t have the exact same colors to Match those pixels but we can still create quite a close enough replica to make for a really interesting build experiments at least I hope this is going to work so without further ado let’s begin today’s adventure now the very first thing we’re going to have to Do is create a new super flat world only because building with giant blocks takes up a huge amount of space and this world is only a couple of blocks away from bedrock which should give us a lot more extra space to work with considering that just one of these giant Blocks has a dimension of sixteen by sixteen which of course will make for quite a massive Minecraft projects if we were to actually stack these blocks on top of each other we would reach minecraft max build height with just fifteen blocks so we do have to take That into consideration when we do get to building so the plan is to first build a standard minecraft house making sure we don’t build any higher than 15 blocks because of course this is the exact same house we’re going to be replicating now I don’t want this to be a simple house I Actually want this to be a bit more of a challenge or in other words make my life ten times harder for utterly no reason and because I’ve made this house as detailed as possible we’re going to have to replicate everything from trap doors to lanterns the fence the barrels but The good news is that this house is exactly 15 blocks tall so this should fit within minecraft Smacks build Heights but now comes the most challenging part of this project I’ve used over 20 different blocks to build this house and we’re going to have to individually build and supersize each And every one of these blocks not to mention having to build the different variations of each block like the upside down stair blocks the different trapdoors and stuff like that now all this got very confusing really fast especially if you’re trying to create an almost identical replica so if you Really wanted to do this yourself I would suggest screenshotting a Minecraft block and numbering each of the different shades of color then all you have to do is choose the best combination of blocks to use and the rest should come together quite easily yes this is a very tedious task to Undertake but it’s totally worth it I mean just take a look at this door it’s by far my favorite block up till now the only issue I’ve noticed is building the lantern and the flowerpots only because building the chain as well as the tree sapling are pretty much impossible Because they are made out of paper thin blocks there’s no good way of replicating this I’m just going to use my own initiative to build the closest replica possible basically building a full sized tree so next up we have the spruce wood planks which apart from the colours also shares the exact same Textures as the oak wood planks so all we have to do is change around some of the colours and we’re pretty much good to go thankfully we are using commands so things should get a lot easier as we progress throughout this video we can now easily create half slabs as well as Stair blocks which we’re going to be using the front porch as well as the roof right guys now there’s only a few blocks left to build the white wool in particular had a ton of different shades of white which all looked really similar so that was a bit confusing to put Together but honestly at this point I was also running out of colors to choose from so I’m not even too happy with this oak log but either way the top half of this block won’t be visible once we put the house together so it’s not really a Big deal and of course we have the cobblestone wall for the chimney as well as the spruce wood fence and last but not least a giant barrel which was another one of my favorites probably because it was one of the newer blocks added to the game and has a bit of extra Detail to it now I never thought that these blocks were actually going to look any good obviously when you look at them up close it just looks like one giant mess of different colored blocks but once you look at them from a distance it’s almost hard to tell which is the Original minecraft block and the best part is I really believe that any of you guys can do this with just a bit of patience and using your standard minecraft block as a bit of guidance right guys so now we can finally get to building this ginormous house and I Thought this was going to be the easy part considering we’re using commands to copy paste each block but in fact I was so wrong I actually made a ton of mistakes just trying to build the house foundation the thing is once you place the block side-by-side it becomes really Hard to tell just how many make up this wall just having to rotate and find the right position for each block was a bit confusing so I just have to be really careful because just one mistake could mess up this entire house now thankfully I did get the hang of Things pretty quickly and the windows were also really simple to put together seeing as it was just 2 blocks wide using some white stained glass I even managed to add in those small reflective details on each corner of the window honestly I absolutely loved putting this project together just seeing the Progress and looking at the size comparison between both buildings is kind of mind-blowing can you imagine building an entire epic city using just giant blocks that might actually make for a fun survival map and then we can all enjoy the struggles of trying to climb up these stairs and Hoping not to fall from the roof or in this case falling from a simple flowerpots might actually kill you ok that was obviously a bit of an exaggeration now just before we get to building the roof let’s finish off the left side of the house which at this Point we can start adding a few details like barrels flowerpots lanterns together with a giant water barrel which if I could actually open this trapdoor would probably cause a ginormous tsunami not to mention the barrel is big enough to actually fit an entire Minecraft boats Now on the right side of the house we’re going to do the exact same thing just adding some fence blocks as well as a few details and actually go back to some cobblestone to start building the chimney but guys we just have to take a moment to take a look at all these Miniature animals it looks so strange right up next to this house and it would make more sense if they were actually insects at least the bats do look like pesky flies the chicken looks like a moth the pig could be a dung beetle I mean pigs are filthy and beetles like Rolling poop so it’s pretty much the same thing and the sheep are obviously chameleons because of course they love to change color so that makes complete sense trust me but no seriously guys I really do love how this house is turning out so let’s finish off the roof and Basically hope and pray that this is actually going to fit within minecraft max build height because you know the calculations I’ve had to make but this build can definitely drive anyone a slight bit crazy So thankfully the house does fit precisely without a block to spare so unfortunately we can’t build any smoke coming up from the chimney but now that we have the house built I thought it would be a really cool idea to save a copy of this project for a future Transformation video because at this point you could use the house as a template to build and design anything you want I mean we could really take the house to the very next level just by adding all sorts of little details vegetation vines growing on the walls you could redesign the fence and just Make it look extra fancy or just generally make the blocks look more 3d I mean you get the idea so that should make for another interesting concept to try out for a later video and finally to finish off this video with a band I thought we could try a little TNT test Now don’t panic I’ve already saved a copy of this project and you will be able to get your hands on this world over on my website but what we’re going to do is place a normal TNT block right at the centre of the normal minecraft house and then we’re going to build a Giant TNT block to place right at the center of the super-sized minecraft house just to have a bit of fun and compare what kind of damage this would cause just in case you’re wondering the giant TNT block is filled with actual TNT so let’s start things off with the Original minecraft house and just see how things go so without further ado let’s begin the countdown [Laughter] right so obviously quite a bit of damage not that much though it seems like the house might still be standing considering the four pillars are still intact but now it’s time for the moment You guys have all been waiting for and I’m sure you’re all curious to find out what’s going to happen to this super-sized house so without further ado let’s begin the countdown well honestly I was expecting a lot more damage than just that but it seems like the super-sized house has definitely won This one although the mess inside the house is just astronomical let’s view the replay from the inside [Laughter] yeah definitely would not want to have to fix this but it looks like the TNT blew out some windows made a hole in the door and that’s just about it But anyway guys I really hope you enjoyed this video if you did make sure to leave a like subscribe and I will catch you in the next one Video Information
