In the twenty-fifth episode of the series, I take a break from beating my head against the brick wall that is technological development in favor of such relaxing activities as tailoring, facilitating extradimensional demon incursions, preventing energy grid blackouts through unsafe nuclear engineering practices, and collecting locally sourced, organic, free range, non GMO, pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, and deicide free salt concentrated from the tears of my enemies.
GT – New Horizons is an intricately designed and custom-coded kitchen-sink style modpack built on the 1.7.10 version of Minecraft. It integrates hundreds of Minecraft’s flagship mods into a Gregtech framework – completely overhauling the mods’ traditional progression in the process, and radically rebalances any of the technologies those mods may offer.
Because doing things the normal way is ‘too easy’, I am following a ruleset based off of the (in)famous Garden Of Grind ruleset that places me in a completely empty superflat dimension. Every single resource I need, including blocks to stand on, has to be created out of nothing by finding clever workarounds and weird mechanics. Unlike in Garden Of Grind, I am not restricted to only my starting dimension – it’s just that every other dimension starts out just as empty as my first one.
