Got into Minecraft cuz it’s it’s just an art form for me it’s the same way I think people who do more traditional art styles like photography and drawing and all uh sculpting whatever it might be it’s the way you you do it because it’s it like it being a hobby for one

And then two it’s the way you kind of can express yourself and create things and for me Minecraft building has turned into a way just to express myself and to create things that I’m imagining in my brain and when you’re when I’m in a flow of where I just have ideas popping up

And I want to see them through and see what I can create in the world that helps me stay motivated and stay interested in what I’m doing so that’s a big part of it but we’ve got a ton of work to do today my friends cuz

Today is world map update day and boy oh boy am I a little ashamed of this right here so before we can update the world map I want to clear out all of these Shuler boxes yeah we’re going to we’re going to we’re going to do a little Shuler box box

Organization session and then once we do this then we’ll move on to the world map and uh yeah if we have time we can do a map of New Papyrus 2 and go set that up over there in the we could probably just put it inside one of the

Villager houses for now um I don’t think it would be kind of cool to capture that before we build the city so if we have time we’ll definitely get that but for those who haven’t seen it the last map update that we did was episode 40 in July it is now

December and a lot of things have changed we finished the mountain we’ve added the whole city connection over here here I’ve also added a few more buildings into the city we’ve added a bunch more fields around this section A lot of stuff in there uh I think yeah the mountain will

Be filling this entire map and then y’all are going to see a few spoilers on the map as we’re flying around and little updates here and there of other stuff that’s been done uh episode 52 will be out tomorrow I think it’s going to be a banger of an episode I think

Post and it doesn’t do well it will pull down the videos that are doing well which is so dumb but I totally understand like why the algorithm does it but it is doesn’t make it any less frustrating when it happens but you’ll see like if you ever

See a YouTuber like take a video down that they posted and like move and move a video that they had previously live and unlist it it’s usually because the video is doing so poorly that it’s starting to affect the other videos that they posted and then they usually you

Just make a call and you’re like I just don’t even want this to be out there like I I don’t don’t want to even see where this could go in the future I try to not do that cuz I’m like I invested time into it and if I enjoy

The project that for me is enough to leave it up and leave it public um unless something com completely just tanks and there’s absolutely no hope for it I I will almost always leave my videos up even if they’re not performing super well but is what it is people have

To how well it did last year no they don’t care about that they just want to show you your most recent stats and so it makes it makes yourself feel like you failed if a video goes to 10 out of 10 when in reality if you’re looking at

Your growth where you were last year at the time it could be doing amazing compared to where I was last year but YouTube still tells me it’s a terrible video and that sucks it really sucks so I don’t know I try to not look at Stats

So much I realized for my own mental health uh the less I look at my YouTube stats the happier I am and unless I start to notice things are doing really really poorly I don’t open them anymore I I can’t I can’t do it it’s so bad I can’t bring myself to do

It yeah it it very much creates a man I messed up instead of maybe this just didn’t hit what the audience or maybe something else is going on that caused it to not do so well there’s mobs out there I left my bed somewhere where did

Mossy logs everywhere we’re going to make a whole biome of Mossy covered logs that’s that doesn’t need to go in there I really need to make a better storage room for all these things uh turtle eggs we’re just going to put you guys right there 31 NAU Alla shells back at home though

Welcome okay the reason for all the kelp is I use kelp as a filter item whenever I’m making uh Redstone farms uh because you have to rename an item and it’s very easy to get kelp in mass quantities so uh I just do that that can go there

All of these are going to go back inside we can just get rid of them the Kel desk yeah we could we could we need a Kel desk for sure you’re going to go in there you’re going to go in there I want to make a glow squid Farm

Soon by the way cuz I’ve been really enjoying using Glo ink on signs and this is all that I have left which I know seems like a lot but I’m working through it pretty dang quick it’s uh those supplies are diminishing very quickly when I’m actually using it on

Things maybe build more water wheels could this place I feel a lot of it is Around um like windmills and things we don’t really have too many water wheels here part of me does enjoy keeping it that way cuz then we can make a very clear differential when we go to a new region and be like the old place yeah that was

All about windmills and then this new land that we’re in now working and developing up over here this is all about like water wheels and stuff you know make a little when you have those themes about different places that you’re working and it does help to make them feel a little

Bit more separated but still having like that certain level of crossover to him I think it would be cool to have a kraken destroying a ship I’m not super great at Organics esec especially when you’re adding like those levels of movement to it but that’d be a really

Um and their subscriber counts went really really high it’s definitely something that you got to watch and see how it goes because if you can’t turn those shorts viewers into long form content viewers YouTube is going to see that less of your active subscriber base is clicking on your videos to watch them

Which then that being a thing will hurt your videos because YouTube says oh less of your subscribers are watching your videos we’re not going to push them to new people as much so yes and no if you do shorts successfully and you make it so that you

Oh we had a lot of maps here uh and you can do your shorts successfully do it very very well well and then you’ll be fine there that’ll be totally fine but and if you can turn them into long form viewers that’s great if you can’t turn them into long form
