Hello wonderful people it’s wild here this is part two of how to build a haunted house make sure you check out part one to build the base of this build today we’ll be finishing it off and I’ll be showing you how to go about decorating this style of build let’s get going Materials you’ll need for this part of your build are on the screen now keep in mind for a large build like this it’s helpful to have some spare materials on hand and for the materials for part one check out the first video so here’s a little recap of what we’ve Got so far we’ve got all the worlds in for the second and first story and we’ve decorated the lower story of the build now we’re going to start working our way up this central tower section of the belt to start this I’m going to grab some deep sleep tile stairs and I’m placing Them upside down along the front like this leaving out the corner and then just connecting up to the walls Now I’ll grab some chiseled stone bricks and I’m going to Center myself and then count one out to either side so that way that there is a three block Gap in between I’ll connect these up using some upside down Spruce stairs and go one to either side so that the chiseled stone Brick sits over this Gap so it should look like that I can then take some strip Spruce logs and come one back all the way along here like this you can see I’m only just coming to the edge here because we’ll be bringing some more Spruce along this way But then I’ll build back another couple here as well so we’re starting to create a little balcony section I’ve now come inside the build and you can see that this wall is five blocks wide now I’m going to be using some stripped dark oak logs and I’m placing These in this direction so that I have a five by five square you can use some placeholder blocks here just to help you build this And I’ll break these three extra spruce so you should have five by five square with your boards running the same direction as a floor below I’m going to use this to help me place in my walls I’m going to start by placing one layer going on top of the square Then I’ll mark in my window so it’s centered on the front here and it’s four blocks high one two three four and I’m using green stained glass I’m then going to build up another six blocks so we have a total of seven blocks for our wall foreign Way to access this attic style level I think a ladder works best here for the compact space but you could even use some hanging Vines so you can see I’ve gone up in groups of two here so I’ll be placing two blocks above the height of the window There we go that’s the full height of our wall now we want to finish off this banister here so I’m going to go in with some more chisel strip bricks and I’m counting two back from this one in the corner and I’ll connect these up with some Spruce stairs On top of each of the chisels I’m going in with some regular stone brick and then a wall on top of these I want to connect up the banister with some Spruce fences and then for a little extra detail I’m placing an iron bar on top of each of the walls Like that switching back to my stone brick walls I’m going to break in the corners here and build up four High it was the same height as a window I’ll then come to the back of the build and I’m just going to place in one here and on the other side as well The roof is going to be going up to this point so we don’t need the walls extending lower I’m also going to go in with some walls around the top here I’m going to leave out the center one over the window where the frame is going but I’ll go all the Way around the back we’re starting to get a really good base for this section of the build now we’re going to start working on the roof and we’re going to come to the right hand side here and start adding in this section this section is a bit Different to the rest of the roof as we’re going to be having an almost toxic waste ooze effect so I’m going to start by building along with my stairs so you can see I’ve come four blocks out now these are being rather ghostly these stairs but they are there and they Should spawn in soon I’m placing in a block here at this corner and then I’m going to switch to some dark oak logs and just Place one more layer going all the way around this is going to help us with our roof building later foreign Now of course these are not going to be visible from either the inside or the outside so if you’re shorter materials you could substitute these for something like a dirt and then cover it up with a roof layer on the inside so we’ve got our four coming along here with our Stairs and then we have got a deep sleep tile on the corner I’m going to place another three deep slate tiles in a little L shape like this and then a slab coming out from it I’m going to count one block over and place a slab here and then two tile Blocks here and here we’re adding a cracked section to this roof which is why we’re going to be leaving a gap so I’ve got a slab then a stair then I’m going to come back with a block here I’m going to leave a gap and come over To the side I’m just going to build back on a diagonal with a block and come over two and then place in a slab on the lower level so it should look like that so far and next I’m going to go in with some stairs I’m counting two blocks over this way Placing in a slab Above This slab and then I’m placing in one more stair with a block on the corner so you can see the edge kind of tapers in like that and then we’ve got this lovely hole in our wall which we’re going to fill in with some slime colored blocks For my ghostly slime I’ll be using lime stained glass slime and then some vernant frog lights to make it Glow I’m coming inside the build here and I’m just going to start filling in this Gap keep in mind that the roof is going to be coming along here so we need to leave That space clear and it’s up to you what distribution of slime to Glass you do I like to just place them in and then I can always switch them out later if I’d like a slightly different distribution also keep in mind that the glass is more see-through than the Slime so you can Put slime behind the glass for a different look Alright I think that’s pretty good and I’m going to look from the outside to see how it looks I think I like that but I think I might replace one of these slimes with some more glass I think this one here with a glass behind it I’m going to then tuck a frog like just behind here so it glows and I might be able to fit one up the top here as well I think here now if your slime patch looks different to mine that’s totally fine as long as when you look from Different angles you’re happy with the effect that’s what matters with this different section in we can start putting in the rest of this upper section of the roof I’m going to start with a layer of stairs going all the way around and I’m replacing the corners here with some deep sleep tile blocks If you’re enjoying today’s video I’d really appreciate if you consider subscribing that way you’ll also get lots more tutorials like this one and you can be part of this awesome community the next layer up I’m just going all the way around with my tile blocks if you’d also like to join a Halloween Build competition check out the link to my Discord channel in the description below and you can show off your spooky building skills you can see as I’m going up here I’m going between blocks and stairs with a block on a corner this is giving us that classic Victorian roof shape One more layer of blocks going all the way around and again going with my stairs So it should look like this and you can see it should line up perfectly with the section we built at the front for the top of this roof we’re going to add a little bit more slime to this crack I’m going to start with this green Block that we’ve got here and I’m going to place a glass diagonally down from it and then one coming upwards as well I’m gonna slime on this side here I’m going to have a glass over here and then I’m just going to come in with two More pieces of slime at this lower level now I can switch to some deep slate tile slabs and I’m going to be filling in at this half slab so it sits above these slime but on top of these glass blocks and I can just fill in all the way Around that as well as the rest of the roof With that filled in I’ll also Place some polished deep sleep walls on all the corners here and then connect them up as well as to this wall with some iron bars here’s how the roof is looking and you can see that spooky slime the next section of roof we’re going to Work on is around here at the back on this exit entryway I’m going to start by placing a block on top of this slab here and that’s going to help me locate where I need to be I’m then going to build my way over with some stairs filling in the Corner with tiles and then connect back up here and I’ll come down the other side as well I’m going to place a we’ve got the stair here already but I’m just going to place a slab on top of that and you can see it kind of connects up already so The next layer is going to be sitting over the top of these blocks here the next layer I’m going straight in with some deep sleep tiles and it should connect up seamlessly with this Veranda cover I’ll then put in the corners and fill in the rest with stairs I’m going to go at one more layer here and like we did at the top I’m going to place in a slab to fill in here and some walls and iron bars we need to add some window decorations starting with this one down here I’m going in with two strip Spruce locks and On either side of that I’ve got some Spruce stairs then I’ve got some anvils going in and I’ll connect these up with some Spruce fences then I just want to add in three iron bars so it should look like that while I’m here I’m going to grab some stone brick walls I’m going to put these on the corners like this and I’m not going to wrap back around underneath the veranda as those won’t be visible just around to this left hand side the next window decorations will add in are on the second story I’m going to start by coming round to the front And working on this window here I’m going in with my stripped Spruce logs and stairs And then I’m creating a similar window design using some anvils and some Spruce fences this time you’ll need to build too high with your Spruce fences and some iron bars at the center I’m going to create the same decoration on the other windows but we’ll just need To keep in mind when we get to the bag that will need to make a few adjustments just to fit in with the roof Foreign Adjustments where the roof is kind of in the way of the window frame for this we’re going to start off normally and I’m going to work on both windows at the same time here and all we’re going to do is leave out the stair that is connecting up here So the top half’s just the same then when I go in with my anvils I’ll place the Anvil straight on top of this deep sleep tile stair foreign and finish off with some more anvils So it should look like that the other window on the back side is just the same as the other windows Foreign Foreign so that’s most of the windows done now for these two in the center it’s grouping of two windows I’m going to start by placing a strip Spruce log here at the center and then place two logs going out to either side with Spruce stairs on the end like that I’ll then go in with three anvils across like this and then build up too high with my spruce fences on the center one I’m going to place in another Anvil and then on the outer side I’m going to add in some Spruce stairs To finish off the top I’m going to go in with a strip Spruce log and then some upside down stairs facing forward and on top of each of these stairs I’m going in with a slab I’ll then place in some iron bars in front of each of the windows so it Should look like this you can also add in the window frame on this upper story window I’m going to go across the bottom with some Spruce slabs then I bring in my anvils and my fences two more anvils And finish off the top of the window frame here We’ve got some important details to add now as well as the roof up here I’m going to start with some stone brick walls and I’m just placing these on the corners like this making sure that I’ve got a one block Gap in between here I’ll then come up to this next level and Continue around I’m starting on top of the log here so that way I can wrap around the corner nicely Once they get all the way around I’m going to also grab out some stone brick slabs now I’m going to be placing these at the level of the Gap below these stairs like this and I’m wrapping my way around the build leaving out the corners foreign The Gap in between each of the window decorations but coming all the way around I’m also going to come to the back of the build here on the right hand side of the build or the left hand side if you’re looking from the back and place in some walls just underneath these two Like that it just finishes it off when looking from this angle Now on to this upper story roof I’m going to start with my deep sleep tiles dares and I’m going to place these all the way around leaving out the corners Filling in the corners with some deep sleep tiles I’ll then come up a layer and I’m working my way in so I’m three levels up using the pattern of blocks and stairs That’s my second layer onto the third layer I fill in the center with the slab now and then I’m placing my walls on the corners and iron bars in between so it should have a nice pointed look like that another important detail to add is some cobwebs I like to group these in the corners of the build like this And it’s up to you how many you add I’ve got lots of green going on here so I do need to add so many cobwebs but it might be nice to add a few up in this top corner like that They go nicely on the roof as well and we’re going to be adding in some more decorations as we go I like to add a good cluster of webs at the back here just around this corner and you can have them coming up from the bottom as well All right let’s have a look at how I’ve gone about decorating my haunted house now you can see I finished putting in my cobwebs and I’ve got these over the roof as well as underneath the Brandy here and as well as that coming up the side here on the banister Now I’ve got lots of spooky decorations going on in my garden starting with a pumpkin patch here over on the right hand side of the build with some jack-o-lanterns and a graveyard over to the left I’ve used these custom petrified trees to frame the build and then I’ve got Some spooky ghosts floating all around the house and I’ve put a grouping of three up the top where we’ve got our magical ghostly slime for a tutorial on how to create these as well as many other Halloween decorations for your build check the description down below So now you
