Insane Horse Mod Ideas for Minecraft – Abigail Pinehaven

Hello friends and welcome to Minecraft horse mod ideas swim Edition I am aware that there has recently been controversy over the management of swam and while I do not condone the mistreatment of staff and community members I do still support this mod and all the work the volunteers

Links are down below our first section will be horse models and features I feel like the mod isn’t really complete without the addition of donkeys and mules I’d imagine the donkeys being much smaller than a swim horse but bigger than the vanilla donkey much like in the realistic horse genetics mod the donkeys

Could come in a variety of Shades ranging from classic gray brown black and white all the way to what’s known as broken colored which are basically just the paint versions of donkeys maybe they’re not ridable but are more for carrying goods or pulling carts and they’d make Great Pasture Buddies the

Mules however can be ridden but cannot breed whilst it would be lovely to have a wide range of builds and sizes for the mules if we have to have just one standard model I think personally I’d like it to be bigger than a donkey and only slightly smaller than a swim horse

And of course they’d have to have the big old m ear the mules could come in a wide range of colors from the bog standard chest Nutty Brown to Apple loers and paints the swm hor is quite clearly based on an American Quarter Horse or something of a similar lineage

Due to its large hind quarters and low set neck it would be really cool to have a couple of variants of this model specifically following a thoroughbread sh and a pony thoroughbreads tend to be tall and slender and most come in plain coats like Bay dark Bay Chestnut black

Or gray they also tend to have less exciting markings such as socks and stripes on their face perhaps the thds can Gallop for much longer periods of time since the current swim horses can only Gallop for a few seconds before becoming tired shers or any other

Popular draft breed tend to be Big And Chunky once again the coats tend to be pler and I am specifically talking about shers here so they would be limited to Colors such as black Bay dark Bay gray ran or Chestnut due to their size maybe they aren’t as fast and can’t jump as

High but buk much less and bond faster due to their gentle nature I imagine ponies to be smaller than a swim horse but not tiny much like Welsh section D ponies maybe they aren’t as fast and can’t jump as high and are harder to bond with but due to their smaller frame

They’re able to navigate densely packed forests much more easily than the clunky swim horse they could come in many different colors and ultimately there is adorable so who wouldn’t love a pony if you could pick any breed to be implemented into this mod which would it

Be and why tell me in the comments maybe the different breeds and ultimately different models would be too complex to implement so a fun workaround could be different sized horses the model stays the same but when spawned or bred has a chance to be smaller or slightly taller

Nothing too major it would just help differentiate between each horse even if they end up having the same coat speaking of coats despite there being over 100 swm coats available somehow I feel like that just isn’t enough more coats and even coat variants would serve this mod very well for example vanilla

Horses have two textures that are randomly drawn a base color and markings if swam had a selection of Base colors and lots of markings that a coat could be paired with this would create so much variety within the horses I will admit though they have gone down a more

Difficult and ultimately impressive rout by having every single coat handrawn and unique but I do still think having some preset base colors and marking combinations would be a good idea let’s quickly have a look at horse hack and accessories to go hand inhand with the idea of sport horses or thoroughbreads I

Feel like we need some racing themed tag the Saddles would be ultra flat and lightweight and the bridles could either be the iconic fluffy nose band or the western style minimal Bridal to match they would need Square SD pads in a multitude of diable colors for an interesting accessory colored masks and

High leg wraps would work really well with this set having the ability to braid cut or Roach The Man and tail independently would be a really nice touch while I don’t think Maines and Tails longer than the ones we currently have would work well being able to make

Them shorter by cutting or neat by braiding would add a touch of realism this would allow people who are role playing to have beautifully prepped show horses or interesting Trail horses with with mohawks people love showing and competing horses in Minecraft so adding a horse certificate would be amazing

The volunteers at swam are sick to death of hearing the suggestion but lunging would be such a great idea I can imagine it would take a very skilled coder to implement this but essentially you could add a lunge line and lunge whip as items then attach the lunge line to your horse

To begin using the lunge whip you could change speed and possibly Direction while the horse independently loops around you a few blocks away you can already lead another horse while on Horseback but it is a bit clunky as the horse that is being ponied or lead can

They would only need 100 to 150 points holiday and retired horses would most likely be left in a paddock and as grass only provides two feed points they may only need a maximum of 20 points to remain healthy I do feel like the swim horses are really high maintenance so

This would just make it easier to have horses be in the paddock fulltime with only grass and water while there is an insane amount of new blocks and decor items in this mod here are a few that I think should be added a 3D placeable horseshoe that you can hang on your

Walls or place on the ground for an immersive farious space I have to admit I was a bit disappointed when there was no stall name plate item normal signs are a bit of an eyesa and you could get really creative with metal plastic or wooden name plates to fit all stable

Styles while there are racks you can place horse armor there is no way to display saddle pads or pasture blankets it would be really nice to be able to place saddle pads under saddles on the racks or have a multi-ad rack for displaying and storing lots of saddle pads additionally adding a saddle

Blanket rack either in singles or multiples is a great idea as I feel like my tack room is never quite complete without more places to display my blankets and saddle pads a small addition but providing a wooden saddle rack and Bridal rack would be perfect for those Western builds horse statues

Would actually be relatively easy to implement realistically you just take the swim model pose it texture it in stone bronze iron or gold and there you go there could be three sizes very small for couns and tables one to one scale of the swim horse size and very big for

Buildings and outdoor decor while I really like this mod I feel like it is seriously lacking in configuration options here are some things I would love to see added to be able to tweak each experience to be unique while swim horses are pretty big I also feel like

The max jump height is just too big at Max skill levels horses can jump 4 and a half blocks tall I’d love to be able to customize that or at least cap it since a jump that looks like this is a little too ridiculous I’ll admit that this

Request is very much tailored towards my upcoming server pinecraft equestrian roleplay since the server is in Creative I’d love to be able to prevent players from using these stat increase potions or at least be able to adjust the stat increase from the potions so that people

Can play in Creative but still have to train their horses another quick one tailored for servers but limiting swim ownership to a certain number of horses this can help prevent users from owning 200 horses without the need of constant moderation of course making this number configurable is key

Finally I’d like to disable other players killing horses as currently anyone with a sword and a bad attitude can take out my trusty steeds that’s everything I could think of but I’m very excited to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments below to reiterate I am
