Kind of okay to have they’re nice to have um I’ll use them I think the thing is it’s like if you’re a hardcore player it doesn’t mean that you’re still going to gatekeep the way other people play and be like oh you’re like not as good

Or like there’s a certain way to play hardcore and if you use a totem you’re not really playing hardcore it’s like if you don’t like totems just don’t put them in your off hand and if it’s like if if we really want to draw boundaries at what is like the hardest Minecraft

Then uh half a heart Minecraft is probably the the hardest most hardcore mode and a lot of people play that so unless you’re gatekeeping as someone who has like a 5,000 day world in um exclusively exclusively half a no totem hardcore that’s like an acronym totemist half heart hardcore that’s an acronym

And I can’t remember what it is but but there is a very serious subc Community who do Insane things in that game mode and it makes me sad because I will never be able to do that just mentally emotionally I’ll never be able to do that half heart Minecraft yeah so yeah

Too far um I think one of the ways it’s definitely gone too far recently for me is my perfectionism around singing cuz I’m really bad I’m not good at singing I’m not good at thinging okay I’m not good right now and I’ve been practicing very hard and and quite a lot to improve

Uh my singing for my first cover song and it is not it you know I am pain uh it’s really hard to be a perfectionist when you’re bad at something cuz it’s like when you’re a perfectionist and you’re bad at something you will never be satisfied until it’s perfect but you can’t be

Perfect unless you have like 10,000 hours of practice and that doesn’t happen overnight they’re thinking is just like a constant uphill battle for me of like oh God why is it not working I’ve spent so long this is so depressing um when it’s like an inevitable consequence of the fact that

It’s not my area of expertise and I’m learning um so that’s where it really becomes really becomes a problem because it can be quite genuinely disheartening I think for a lot of perfectionists people really or especially like competent perfectionists people really downplay the psychological effects of being a perfectionist because whenever

If if I were like if I let’s say um if I wear a gr a student in school and I was like oh I’m so worried about this test like I think I’m going to do so badly I don’t feel prepared like I haven’t done anything people would be like oh my God

[ __ ] off like you get an A every time right but for the person they might genuinely really feel like they’re not going to do well at all and they might be really stressed because they care a lot um but like to them it’s a big deal cuz like the feelings that they’re

Have a great speaking voice but I don’t really do they correlate that well like I know people with great speaking voices who can’t sing for their life um so I don’t know Chad I don’t know I I definitely appreciate it thank you thank you uh but yeah I’m always uh it always

Confuses me a little bit um is my the present practice no no I will not do that actually uh so yeah yeah I I have um I have had someone sort of help me with a bit of singing and they’ve been helping me for a little while which I

Picked up on that o o oopsy yikes a little embarrassing from me um but uh yeah they they were helping me and a lot of the times when they’re helping me I will literally be like fighting back tears the whole time cuz I feel so bad at

Like I feel I just don’t feel like I’m you know doing well enough um but at the end of it they like turned to me and they were like I don’t think you realize like well I was like basically they were saying oh you know this bit is fine like

This part of your singing that you’re worried about yeah that’s fine and I was like no it’s not fine cuz I can like hear this and this and this and I know that that they’re like they don’t come out well in recordings and they were like you’re definitely being too hard on

Hopes up but it was really nice of them to say so yes so it’s definitely definitely been an uphill battle like trying to learn something so new that is so hard for me and it also sucks cuz everyone in V andu is so good at singing everyone is

So so good at singing and V andu and it’s like I want to be like them I want to be like them but obviously that kind of talent doesn’t just appear overnight or even like after several weeks of practicing like pretty intensely daily

It’s like G but I want it to be over I want my suffering Arc to be over Chad I’m like I’m so ready to be Bater at this um but it but alas there’s no easy way if only there was life would not be so hard uh but yeah it’s just something
