Oh guys since Adam Chanel and today I have for you an amazing redstone component this mean probably forgotten by most of you this our instant real night these things basically behave like what wires but they are instant so they activate immediately and the beginning and at the end which can be thousands of Blocks away obviously it has to be loaded and they also update in a predictable update order and cause much less lag than using for example standard or redstone wires to show you what I mean by some of these you’ll be nice but first I want to show how this actually Works because what I asked people around nobody could tell me even within the technical community how this exactly works and why it works basically it works on the same principle as using redstone blocks for example and any kind of power sources to get a bodied rail line basically what this is quite an Interesting term but I’ll go to the ventilator but some people found out is when you place for example at home blocks like this for example here one and back now when I start destroying them you can see the girls don’t die power now these rails are considered embodied Which basically means they work as block update detectors when I would now do a block update next to them they will deep power immediately just like this they don’t work the same way as observers for example because if I show I would use an iron shrimp door you can see I can turn It on and off this also works for drawers and all the other doors and fence gates an observer would detect this update let’s place a piston so you can see it but as you saw there this seems this detects also address updates no not just blog updates it seems to also detect Updates of air blocks unlike an observer so let’s see yeah you can see nothing in between here but when I power this redstone it updates all of the blocks around him and therefore triggers the D powering of these rails I’ll just turn off drain and this actually the best way You can test if it will work in the way you want to enter in the machine you want is to just place this kind of contraptions and basically an old-school block update vector there is a piston this also detects the block updates but it doesn’t detect the trapdoors and detects the Redstone updates so now the second amazing feature of this it’s not just instant it’s also has the as I mentioned predictable update order so for example you want to make an item go from this dropper to this one and get ejected here don’t know you do it by having repeaters Like this which basically gives you two game kicks of delay on each tile or each block it basically means that the longer this is the longer it takes and you can also see it now on you know see it on these Pistons that they will turn on and off like a wave You can see nicely works however this takes a long time you can imagine this for example being a hundred blocks long that it would take it’s pretty significant time it will actually take five seconds for 100 blocks that’s quite a lot actually now I want so you then guess that these Rails would probably act similar to the right meters right like it makes sense that when I would trigger it here that they will activate this order make sure it’s no not like that it’s exactly in the opposite order so I built here the exact hopper pipe as here but I Will trigger it from this position I will just place a piston here I already put in some items but we can take them all out and you guys will see you can see it works and as you can see on all of these Pistons they can drink it at The same time so there’s literally no delay now this one actually gets activated one more time that’s because of this design and you can also say int you don’t need to have the drawer press right next to the observers you can have a block in between like I can just do Something like this so see I can trigger it very quickly and now once all works so basically this allows us to make infinitely long dropper pipes that are horizontally or use it as a instant wire however it’s not the best instant while they are better designs that use pistons and they Can be even more less likely than this and also there are cheaper but it’s still an excellent one because as you can see it’s just two blocks tall so if you need a really compact instant device so for example you don’t want to dig a Large it down low you I don’t know need to go make this go through your machine and the machine only has two blocks of space where you can place it this will be the perfect one for it however it’s not all that great as it seems because This design has a significant issue and that is it only in this directional I will show two guys here you can see I can power any of these rails and the piston extent right now nothing breaks because this is in the west direction and it also works for the north Direction see it doesn’t matter however if I were to go east or south if I would I can only activate at this position it is above the horizontally placed observer you can actually for example in this design it would be here basically is the first variable that gets triggered Oh Away from this source you need to have these sources at the ends of the rail I will show you you’ll see how it has to build a waiter when I show you how to build it this works however when I wouldn’t do it for example here it Breaks even though to trigger it at any position okay so let’s go now to the designs in which I would recommend you to use this one is the by far most compact one this one has the disadvantage you cannot you can activate It anywhere when you have it in the right direction intercept the in front of this observer or if you would build more of them you can see into a break now once let’s do it No let’s get it but it like I showed you there this is basically the same just horizontal this Will be interesting if you want to have it like I have here when you need to have the observers sideways but you for example have some other parts like here some Pistons and you don’t want to trigger these Pistons so then you would probably use One of these designs in case you can see when I play some Pistons here some Pistons here see this ones don’t get activated this one guess so if you have this issue use this design or you can use this one this one is basically the same thing as humid From the dome and this one is also very useful if you want to have the observers facing like this for example that also works for this horizontal one this basically is just 3 by 1 and this is 2 by 2 and 2 by 2 without this single Block here now let’s build pure wire designs so here you would not really get it to work in for a dropper line because as you can see this this is not strain’d so you cannot just build a line of choppers next to it this one is the one Was shown by – no – name I think about three years ago in 2016 the Hinn discovered this thing but he never made a tutorial about it or explain how and why this works how this one is hasn’t the same issue as these ones that when I activate the observer on the Block in front of the observer for example here oh no it’s behind sorry when I activate them more well behind observer it breaks you can see when I place here no yes here I made a better design this one it’s also three blocks high okay how its Request this block to be a full block not little slab but that’s about it that’s minimal difference in the cost it’s also a bit harder to build like it will take you a bit more time but this one can be activated anywhere see in front of the observer both directions st. and put the source somewhere in between okay now the position we want to place the observers is so that it powers this Rail the last one in this palette from the previous source as you want to do with you don’t even place the right stop box so if I would place it like this it’s more work if I would place it like this and then destroy knowing and then Destroy this redstone block it will not work so basically it’s the same logic you apply let’s build the compact version here for exam well let’s make the horizontal one and I will show also some some other things about this to make it do it like this this is by far The easiest one to build you don’t need to break the rails without the same for this now okay let’s break these now this can be activated because it’s in the correct direction basically anywhere huh Oh for example for some of you guys when you want to for example save up costs so You still want to use a jumper line but you want to make it a bit cheaper so it will be a bit more likely but it doesn’t matter for example we will just activate it a few times so some of you may think something like this would work no but this surprisingly actually Doesn’t This is probably the most powerful redstone component due to the versatility and minimal size. This wire transports a signal from one end to the other within a single game tick without even needing power. It has a predictable update order therefore can be used in ways that would not work with normal redstone. The use of rails makes these designs incredibly lag friendly and allows to ride mine carts on top. It can be made in all 4 directions however in 2 directions it will work as a BUD array and can be activated anywhere and transport the signal both ways. Due to the difficulty of building and using this wire properly there are only few people who now how to make them now you can do it too.
