Insane METAL UPGRADES in Minecraft! DEWSTREAM Ep87

Hello everyone and welcome back to allods 9 we’re back and we are attempting to fix our mechanism setup so the hard well not the hard work but the brunt of the work I think is done we’ve obviously got some expanded capabilities over here um we’ve got our slurry almost

Empty that’s awesome then we’ve got a little bit of copper and gold to get through before we have a completely clean empty system so that’s going to be nice um and we just need to figure out how to how to manage this properly um now my issue at the moment is that I’m

Concerned that we won’t make enough clean slurry to fill up well I don’t I don’t even think it matters to be honest the the sort of fear I had I was worried that we’d have like a lot in this one and not a lot in the one next to it but

I don’t think that’s even a problem right cuz I’m pretty sure these pipes just naturally distribute all the stuff we might just be fine um what I was going to do to sort of solve that problem um and we still made do it just out of a proof of concept I don’t know

It’ll be a lot of work for something that we don’t need um but my idea was that we keep this system here right that detects the the logic cable and whatnot um uh yeah and the second that this guy reaches the number that we wanted which was um we have it in here

Um 192,000 that’s how many mill buckets we should get from a stack of um or half a stack of blocks as per our recipe so that goes in there right cool awesome um once we have those that many M buckets in here I was going to use level

Emitters and I was going to turn off this pipe using Redstone so that would disconnect it and then um yeah and then also turn this uh import bus on as well so essentially in my mind what we would have is this turned off and this would start emptying

We then also have um another um level emitter on this guy maybe or something like that just to sort of refresh it but I think that would work I I think you could do that and and what that would allow in my mind would be all of the

Stuff from that fluid into the system arguably into this tank before this tank even lets stuff in and then you could turn this one on listen listen a lot of useless talking to be completely honest because I don’t think it’s necessary at all I will say I don’t even think this

Is necessary to be completely uh Frank with you okay yeah this system is almost done just cleaning up there as for the gold in this system oh because I set this guy up to need Redstone let’s just have this um always active so the gold can uh go through

Next I think I will pick these up because they’re really not needed they they’re really not um or at the very least they just tidy up the floor and we can pretend that they’re not there how does that sound um we don’t have many of these planks so that’s our job of

Cleaning up um but yeah I think this is fine we’ll just have these guys always active and they’re just pretty much a brid it’s a useless bridge but that’s okay um the solution though was quism in the comments had a brilliant solution we replaced this chest with a drawer it’s

It’s quite literally that simple we place this down we don’t have it containing gravel cuz of course it has gravel in it let’s just just one one second please just one moment just one second I guess we don’t have that being stored in our dink as well sure um but now this will

Only accept one item at a time which means we won’t ever have that issue of um uh I’m struggling to explain what I mean the problem we had before let me show you this is going to make a lot more sense um is we had let’s just

Pretend this we had coal or coming in and then the first bit of coal or so like let’s say there’s two stacks here the first bit’s done and then Redstone was your second recipe instead of filling in here because let’s say we ordered enough that it filled up the

Entire chest that Redstone would appear here and we’ still have all this coal that’s waiting to be processed the problem that we have then is that the pipe has coal in it and then it has Redstone now both of those examples are ores that I don’t think you can even

Process doing this but you get the idea right right guys um but I think that actually solv the problem so if that does that’s awesome we don’t even have to mess around with this anymore um let’s jump into iron let’s order another 100,000 um let’s just order

960 cuz that that should be one order oh the problem is we have what okay whatever let’s get 30,000 CU apparently that’s the way to do it and that’s going to process 224 um blocks as well so we’ve got all the stuff in there I do need to set

These guys up to extract that’s okay so we’ll do that cool so these will start processing awesome uh these guys are all fully upgraded so that’s good these guys will start washing and then these will begin now what we should first be checking is are these guys filling up

Faster than they’re processing and it looks like they are we’re in the 1.4 th000 that was the level we got to and now it’s up to 1.5 so we definitely are um gaining slur meaning that these three chemical washers are keeping up with this entire system there are 64 down

Here by the way in fact on top of that I think I need to add some chunk loading benefits of a single player I guess we’ll pretend that that’s not a problem um yeah cool okay sweet so we can handle that we can handle this yes that’s

Actually insane the fact that we could probably expand this more and the fact that these guys are currently keeping up with it cool yeah awesome nice these guys are almost done I like it I I I do I like it um my problem is though I probably do

Want it to be a bit faster than what we’ve even got at at the moment realistically right like we kind of do want it to be a little bit better than that I mean I mean what do I do what what do we do here um because what I can

Do and and this honestly isn’t a bad idea I could just Place another row on top and they would share the same input pipe and then I just add an extra power pipe and they’re good to go alternatively um no that’s probably the way to do it and then we could at least

Have like lay up two stacks we probably two three maybe four Stacks high and that would obviously quadruple the speed at which we’re going um I don’t know what what do we think think I think it’s not a horrible idea let’s do it let’s do it so what are

These Guys these are chemical crystallizers so if we go chemical uh crystallizer why not let’s get a stack so I’ll order that that will likely take a while so wait for that in the meantime do we have any machines that can’t keep up yes this guy cannot keep up so

Arguably some extra um injecting uh Chambers could be good um yeah let’s just get like what do we have we have three let’s just get 10 total nice nice number uh and these guys will need tier upgrades so let’s go ahead and just get um I don’t know six more of each of

These yeah sounds fine I’ll tell you what while that’s happening because I I happen to know that our machine isn’t that fast we could get away with not upgrading this um specifically this guy is suspiciously slow I don’t think he needs to be that slow what’s actually happening here is

It the it’s this guy that’s slow okay let’s get um a stack upgrade is that just going to solve that problem yeah cool okay that’s that problem solved nice this guy’s uh up and running full speed again wonderful um this guy I don’t think he needs to be sped up he’s

Honestly pretty good I’m quite happy with him um compared to the other machines this guy is pretty slow for what we need him to do um yeah expanding this guy is arguably tricky I think I could just have more senders doing the exact same thing not

Sure all right so I’m going want to go ahead and uh upgrade all of these guys that’s going to consist of some tier upgrades which we’re ordering at the moment I will also yeah we’ll just get more crafters for this that’s probably going to make

The most sense so we’ll grab um five to five Crafters total so we’ll order those they should hopefully not take too long I would imagine right there we go all right sweet uh and we’re going to have to do some messing around down here in theory we don’t even need these redstone

Contraptions anymore we’ll still probably make use of modular routers we’ll just probably do it a little bit differently a little bit nicer I’d imagine um so we’ll jump down here um you know what H let’s let’s do something okay we’ve been doing checking out Basse videos recently as

You guys uh may or may not know and I’ve been having a go at you guys right I’ve been pointing and laughing at your Cobblestone floors mine is just as bad I the only difference is it’s grass floors I mean how much effort is it just to just to

Make things just a tiny bit better we don’t need to go overboard but just just better than what we’re doing like what do we have a lot of we’ve got a lot of of stone let’s just do no I don’t want to do stone bricks I see the problem now

It’s difficult um we’ll grab Stone though because we do have reisel and we can just Chuck some Stone in here and what’s a stone that I don’t think I’ve used before um I don’t think I’ve used this Stone so we’re going to make it connecting and I’m going to grab a stack

Of it and that’s what we’re going to use so I’m just going to make a quick little like basement section down here um and that’s going to be awesome right yeah I don’t know what I broke it sounded like I broke a chest I don’t

Know if you guys heard that but that did not sound great so we’ll pretend that that’s okay um yeah we’ll make like a just nice area here maybe even put like a glass roof on it and I I will say I think that will feel a lot

More accomplished at the end of this episode compared to if I would have just solved the issue if that makes sense um I think if you actually make a structure it it it’s a lot more rewarding like a lot more rewarding this stuff’s going to slightly move so I think that’s okay

Looking how it is I’ll patch this up with dirt but I do plan to um you know I say plan to as in this episode not a not a classic dewy plan but a but a an actual plan so we’re going to select this I’m going to up this to be 3×3

We’ll fuzzy it why not and that will just allow us to sort of um do this and so we’ll do that look at this oh don’t we feel like we’ve done something so this is the floor down here hey I will say if it looks pretty good

I mean we’ll make them connecting because why not oh we can also hold on let’s grab those tiles again these ones here connecting and we’ll chisel all of them there we go um so now what that means is that I can place one in the

Wall select it and we might be able to make this look a little bit better I’m just I’m still not certain about the roofing here and how it’s going to look but I don’t know we’ll see we’ll probably uh come back and fix it but

Look I I am curious in terms of how much time this takes up how much stuff we get done in this episode compared to a normal episode right like somehow it’s different um and yeah I I I am very curious just to sort of compare whether it’s worth going this little extra mile

Connect as the normal blocks do and yet here we are with that work that is awesome good on you I’m not sure whether it’s the connecting mod that uh that should get props for this or if it’s the framed blocks or if it’s a combination

Of both but Bravo um as for this stuff here I don’t know how it will look if we do um anchors we’re spending a lot of time building hopefully hopefully you guys aren’t hating this I guess how do I how do I do this hold on honestly I might

Not be able to do it with connecting glass cuz I’m pretty sure that’s all you need to do I think there’s an example recipe in here for covers I could probably just search cover let’s just search cover um at refined here we go yeah okay so it

To catch up to uh frame blocks frame blocks is uh clanning on you a little bit here all right covers I I don’t think it looks hor like the it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life but it’s uh also yeah it’s not looking the greatest even

Honest cuz they’ve all got their own unique gr so that should just be fine um what we will then have is a modu router for each so this first modu router will obviously be bound to um the first metallurgic infuser and infusing Factory and he has a puller and then senders now

We actually still will need to do that um I kind of forgot we will need to have barrels or chest storing stuff so let’s go ahead and grab some of those we don’t have a crafting recipe believe it or not for slabs uh yep wait wait hold

On do you guys see that it’s the feature that I don’t know if it ever existed but I was convinced it existed maybe it exists for Applied energistics but look at this if I’m typing and I click within the grid it doesn’t continue typing it’s

Focused on the grid oh my go if you’ve watched this whole series there was a good few episodes right near the start when we got the refin storage thing that I was losing my mind I was like going through the config I’m like how can I do

Framed I was going to do a framed chest but I almost want to do a framed um storage like a framed functional storage yeah cuz if we go at functional they do have these um framed ones and we can do frame frame draw 2x two we only need a 1x

Two and this will allow us to put the inputs and the output like this is perfect this will do what we want and I think it will look cool or at least we can make it look cool for example example I kind of want these to be log

Themed let’s see if we can do that so I think what you do is you get a crafting grid um I mean it tells you Um third part okay so you put it here so you can do this for example and it will be a framed draw one or you can put connected tiles in the middle and it will look like that I think that looks really cool so I’m going to go for that

I’m going to get five of these and hope they look as good as I thought they did and so then we should in theory be able to replace these and these are our little drawers now how cool is that now you know what it does look deceptive cuz

We’ve got this checkerboard pattern like this and so now it looks like a 2 by when in reality when you place it it goes in oh God okay we hold on we messed up we listen that’s a mess up I’ll I’ll take that one uh let’s let’s do strip dogs instead can

We yeah that’s going to look a lot better is this something that we can can um undo what actually happened to them they’re here can we un we can okay we can overr that’s awesome that’s that’s a cool mod I like that you can you can do

Long as one’s one and one’s the other I think it will put whatever needs to go wherever it needs to go which is pretty cool um the puller module is set to West I this is going to be a little bit tricky I want it to pull from this but

It’s going to attempt to do it from the south it looks like I’m not sure if that matters let’s see if I place you in here oh cool doesn’t matter awesome so we’re just going to need some pull modules and sender modules and I’ll be honest I

Don’t know if we have patterns for it so let’s have a look um pull module we do not have I think I only need a mark one so we’ll grab one of those um and the sender modules we do have automated and I think we’re using Mark 2s right yeah

Oh pull module Mark two as well might as well over here um pull module Mark two uh yeah uh I mean we’ll do the more efficient upgrade why not sure yeah go for it all right pull module I would like yeah I would like four of them yeah

That’s exactly what I’d like let’s do that um and the sender modules I’ve already got ah we’ll actually need eight of them I think so I actually need to order three more right 6 78 yeah think that makes sense all right cool so for po modules the send modules are on their

Way awesome um oh yeah somewh up there somewh down here none of them are configured but they I don’t know seem to want to be so I’m going to set this as South uh I might need to do one I don’t know we’ll just do it like this so you you you and

With the other now that is going into a modular router that’s one done cool so we’re going to try and keep these separate so then you’ll be one oh is that not yep you’ll be one from the west and then from the East and so that is now another module router

Cool grab those there grab those here perfect so then just select you oh I think you have to be uh sitting on something for it to shift right click so if you’re having issues oh I did it wrong if you’re having issues that’s why Try try to be stationary on the ground

You can’t do the flying strap for whatever reason um but there we go so they all selected and so now in theory I just Chuck in our matching two into each of these and they should work on top of that we’ll grab our upgrades so that’s

Going to be our speed upgrades and our stack upgrades and we will just make sure that they’ve got stuff in them cool yeah awesome this guy will give more stock upgrades why not okay so now if I search for my crystallizer I require 60 of them I don’t actually know if this is

Going to work but I we’ve got to put Power in them but that should begin oh and also like um yeah there actually quite a bit we have to do we got to do like um the upgrades as well right all right well uh if I do construction mode

Does that select no okay well anyway we got them in here so that works so I’m going to go ahead and provide the power which is cool we’ll go ahead and do upgrades I should probably have upgrades in that guy as well I’m not sure if

There’s much of a need for it but we could all right we’ll put those in there so they’ve got power and now they’ve got speed and okay well they’re full of energy upgrades they’ve got plenty of stuff in them they’re just not receiving the energy um that’s set to one that’s set to

One okay all right interesting I mean sure but also huh um in terms of our power generation none of these guys have oh this guy has excess where’s he going he’s going into the 12 Network um okay and so is he so I think this is for our big mechanism area I’m thinking

Perhaps we have some extra I don’t really know if there’s an easy way to do that um maybe with a pipe upgrade yeah let’s do that let’s grab uh power cables that are called Energy cables close whatever that thing is um and let’s go ahead and try

To Cable this up so I’m going to connect this and then I’m going to come down here and connect this which seems like a dumb way to do it instead of just going there but my plan is that we will set this guy up to do um nearest First for

Power so we’ll do nearest First that way if for whatever reason this guy needs power he’ll get priority as he should but if not the extra power will come down here to top that guy up um and actually I think this guy also needs to be topped up so if I connect

That there does that no okay cool well this was clearly not what I was meant to do let’s let’s rearrange this a little bit um okay everything’s fine just a misplace God how embarrassing um I need my water bucket before this thing gets running God I mean this is just embarrassing listen everything’s

I mean at this point I might as well just um yeah that’s fine we we might set up some Redstone or something to uh I don’t know change how this connects but for now we’ll pretend it’s okay let’s place this here grab a configurator and just at least disconnect some of these things

If not for anything else but just to make things look a little tidier cool okay so this guy now has power in him wonderful most of that’s coming out of this guy could be a problem later on we’ll see uh but at the moment what it means

Is that these guys have power now so they are running full speed they’re full of upgrades um and we can sort of I mean everything should just be better but um we can also find like bottlenecks for example these bottom tiers are going to use a lot more than the top tiers

Arguably we could do with multiple of them um but yeah cool sweet that should be a lot faster for crafting all that sort of stuff um which I mean I believe it is uh and we can check our crystallizer and 45 of them are done oh look at that they’re pretty much

Done almost done yeah okay I I’ll tell you what I would like to do I I I know that we don’t need to but it’s sort of one of those things where I would I think I would benefit from it in every single series I play just because we always

There’s always mechanism or there typically always is and we always need to expand the infusing factories and this system is nice it’s pretty good honestly if I add an extra infusing Factory I can just set up you know or I could I don’t know I could probably just

Set the exact same router to like split it up to it or something maybe I don’t actually know but what what I thought I would be a great idea I don’t know if I can even do it but it would be cool if we did is figure out a setup that utilizes all

Of the machines there that’s it utilizes all of them without issue cuz the issue at the moment is that like you’ll get the wrong ingredient in the wrong spot and it’s a problem and you can sort of fix that with like the Redstone we had to um

In we get the module router and I think we can do it with Distributors I think these are the the magic way to do it so we’ll get our pull module um um yeah s I’m just debating my head whether this still works yeah pull a module yeah cuz what what I could

I I don’t think I need all those Distributors but we’ll see so p mod Mark 2 awesome we’ll have that select on this guy cool grab modu router and give it a shot so the puller will pull the items the distributor will Round Rob and distribute it let’s get speed upgrades and stack

Slots it doesn’t really know what to do um so we’ve kind of messed up a little bit here we’re going to have to you know do a little bit of DIY here fixing this up but we can it’s all in experimenting I think if we change the recipes to fill

Up the entire bar that that might do it um is that what I need there yep cool um redst that probably needs you and you probably need that cool okay it’s still processing see some of these it’s doing fine which I won’t lie is concerning there you

Go cool okay so they’re all good again um let’s edit each of these recipes to fill up an entire um ultimate metallurgic infuser and see if that solves the issue um so these guys have nine inventory slots that is the key there so what we want for all of these oh

That it just ruins everything because I think the round robin still skips I think if anything um always continue executing modules regardless of whether the module did anything don’t execute any subsequent modules on this te the module did not do anything I don’t think that’s what we

Want like we do want it to stop but I don’t think we want it to stop subsequent modules we wanted to stop this module okay we we’ll try it again with auto sort off it’s I’ll be honest I I I don’t think it’s working the way that we want it

Going to go ahead and clear it and you’re going to be going boom boom boom boom round robin so now both of these are round rining the um actually this goes not hooked up with the right stuff hold on let’s go at Mech and grab you you you um and obsidian

Dust and so we’re going to go oh sorry one more thing at Mac hold on hold onom okay so we’re going to go boom boom boom boom boom so that’s the five ingredients they will be whitelisted they will go round robin starting in that Barrel the enrichment stuff will go round robin

Starting in bottom Barrel bada bing bada bom okay and then the barrels will distribute them as they can and even if these guys are full they’ll still be distributed nicely rounded and robinly these are all set to be on the items are input on the left

Possibly even increasing the speed there because this there is a delay involved with these whereas if we use um integrated Dynamics our arguably we could remove that yeah um pull a module yeah it doesn’t really work okay um yeah okay um have that only work with red yeah but

Then it doesn’t distribute yeah doesn’t really work um I’m not sure I’m not I’m not actually sure about this one I think it’s okay yeah I think it’s okay I do I think uh yeah ideally the comparator wouldn’t go through a repeater but I don’t think

I can do that like I I just don’t I don’t know if it works I I actually I do have some ideas hold on at tiny we’ll grab the Redstone we’ll grab um a tiny solid block um sure yeah tiny solid block and we will get tiny Redstone torches I I

Think we can actually pull this off so what I’m going to do is I’m going to remove these I’m going to have this guy output Redstone it’s kind of tricky to pull this off he’s going to Output Redstone into the back of a block that has a torch

Right oh my I genuinely got jump scin scared I hate how well he is at finding me um hold on there we go so yeah torch is there so Redstone will be applied only one little block worth but it should turn off this torch this torch is a magic

Torch magic in the sense that it actually goes into this block let’s um let’s go ahead and what do we have let’s go ahead and Shrink let’s come over here oh how cool so this is going to turn off or sorry yeah turn on this torch so that one turns on which

Means that one turns on so essentially we’ve made a redstone repeater that shouldn’t have the delay of a redstone repeater based on my Redstone knowledge right unless there still is a delay in the turning off of these torches but I think that should work let’s give it a

Shot let’s go um speed upgrades I guess why not let’s get another stack of these so we’ll order that does that look faster than a repeater would be H I don’t know I don’t know does it does it feel faster I think it’s just done anyway you know what I mean let’s

Um uh yeah let’s let’s grab like a couple more stacks of these so that we can sort of watch this again and let’s just watch in here how often we get stuff it looks like it’s about just as fast as it was before arguably maybe a little

Bit slower but but how cool is this so this system I mean it should work the way that I’m suggesting that it works in that we’ve got infinite stuff now the crystallizers I’ve got a stack of them ordering the stack took ages I’m going to order another stack just to sort of

See how it goes in terms of managing everything and I guess we can install another stack later if we want to so I’m going to order that that’s going to be a lot of work for this guy to do he’s going to be getting a lot of different ingredients all at once

Everything should be distributed nicely and it looks like it is once again I yeah I think our current delay is that crafter at the bottom and the way that I’ve got it to work at the moment where it needs an individual recipe at a time I I kind of

Need to contain that I I still need that to happen if we wanted to remove the need for that we would have to have individual infusing factories for each recipe because then we’d have to eliminate the enriching stuff I believe how else would we be able to do it hold

On um it’s yeah no I’m not sure yeah I don’t know would have to somehow be able to transfer like bundles at a time I think this is good though this is this is good these are they feel like they’re being maintained you know what I mean

Yeah okay I don’t know something to think about let me know if let me know if you have if you have a little solution to this cuz I I still I like the idea of not just having like for example the atomic alloy infusing Factory that guy’s

Useless so it’s like it’s a waste of a factory whereas if we can have them all sharing the same that’d be awesome but it’s just a little bit harder than than I thought it would be all right well there we go um so this stuff down here might be

Curious as like whether we have any backlogs in these or in these I mean that’s pretty good we’re using all of them for different recipes just depending on what the needs are and they’re getting the specific amount of like um stuff they need per ingredient this is kind of best case isn’t it

Assuming this obviously we’ll have to wait until the end to see if all of these are empty the chance that all of these work as flawlessly as they are without it being intentional as as in if this is all just oh I accidentally got it perfectly you know what I mean I

Think we’re nailing this you know what I mean I I think we’ve done it all of these are processing none of them are stalemated they’ve got massive amounts going in this is awesome this this is actually really really good um to expand this cuz obviously we’ve got four you might want to scale

Up all you would have to do these can these can handle um four distributions sorry eight distributions each so we can double this if we wanted to then we can obviously Place more Distributors if we wanted to you could probably distribute into Distributors to then distribute

Maybe I don’t know or or even just yeah do some sort of piping or something but um maybe um but yeah we could easily double this and then some like stack them on top and then you would just have to obviously distribute those into two barrels and then have those distribute

Into each of those I mean it’s amazing oh almost amazing this last guy here or I guess the first guy here was so close what do we have yeah the first guy in receiving both the bits um solving that’s a difficult one I think because the problem that we’ve

Got is that it it’s the similar problem that we solved with drawers the only problem is we don’t want to solve this with drawers cuz we want it to like maintain an order um I think we could solve this with like um multiple modular routers in a row

Pushing into one another and we start at the end one you know what I mean because for example we wanted this enriched obsidian to be pair up with this reinforced alloy and we wanted this infused alley to be paired up with this diamond but somewhere along the line one

Of those got in front of the other you know what I mean um in terms of solving it easy for us we just simply you know either take one out or whatever but in terms of solving it entirely forever I think I’ll need you guys to uh step in

Honestly but how how close were we that’s so impressive it was just this one final recipe man um what do you guys think I once again I know there’s much there’s just different ways to do it that is so much better but um as for like a little challenge I
