Insane Minecraft 1.20 Guide: Ultimate Mending Method!

1.2.2 the developers introduced an experimental villager change where essentially mending is linked and locked to the swamp bio librarian villager for today’s episode because those changes are still in experimental I’m not really going to talk about that method at all in fact I’m still waiting for OptiFine

To come out so I’m on 1.20.1 as long as you haven’t enabled those experimental toggles inside of your world they you have to do many maning and as long as you’re consuming this episode with your eyes ears and mouth in the future before those experimental Things become

Non-experimental we’re good to go and so friends at dawn with that it’s time to M the precursor project to our big mending project today is first things first we’re going to need to pick a location where we want to move a brand new mending villager that the top

It looks good the con of doing any of this stuff is villagers they got a mind of their own and they will wander everywhere but anyways eventually you should hopefully be able to get a villager inside of your target building once you do fence gate villagers cannot interact with fence gates and even

Better zombies they can’t break or open these things either so that’s going to mean with this simple combination of a beautiful door on the outside of my build and a fence Gat right there this villager is going to be trapped inside of this house forever as long as they

Don’t accidentally let it out now profession profession I guess I should have said earlier but it’s very important you do this with a villager that doesn’t have trades or a job locked in yet right now all we have is a stone cutter villager but as soon as I take

The stone cutter away give it a different workstation it’ll switch JS nowadays currently Minecraft 1.20 1.20.1 heck even 1.2.2 into the future before the experimental trade changes are introduced any librarian villager bi them doesn’t matter at all any one of them will be able to sell you a little

Bit of mend now in between episodes I swung all the way back over to the starter base for this next part of the episode you’re going to want to have a couple supplies on hand queued up and ready to go either option A have some emeralds emeralds emeralds I don’t think

I’ve been doing very much profiteering inside of this world yeah a total of eight emeralds that’s going to bring me up just a little bit short alternatively I could have a little bit of paper not depending on what the villager wants to sell me if I come up just a little bit

Short when it comes to emeralds I don’t think it’ll be too much of a problem if I absolutely need to I could always go over to the Villager breeder set up a temporary trading setup with like say a farmer and sell the carrots and get the

Profit I have some paper on hand so we can lock this trade in alternatively have some emeralds and a book queued up ready to go from the start the other thing that you’re going to need to craft if you want to actually pull all of this stuff off today is of course the

Workstation itself to get a librarian villager inside of your world it’s the Lector either go out and loot one from a village or craft one yourself mending oh mending please please Minecraft Gods dear Bon so this is why I brought you to the house today dear Bono make this work

And make it smooth so uh villagers different trades different professions different jobs and check this out right now the stone cutter villager would like to buy clay balls from me or you would like to allow me to buy some bricks from it if but take this away and I have electron placed out

Poof librarian villager oh step one complete now next up a please mending ah that would have been a dream that would have been such a dream all right but the important thing here is we’ve got a couple predetermined trades kind of different types of Trades that

Could show up in level one in a level one librarian villager we could get a bookshelf trade we could get a paper trade usually 24 paper for an emerald or if we’re exceedingly exceptionally lucky you can get a sweet sweet mending tray so look this is the magic part of the

Process we didn’t give mending so all we need to do right now is break the lectern place the lecn back down and let the librar and catch on again it’ll walk over to it and all of a sudden it’s a new librarian you see right there there’s the bookshelf trade there’s the

Paper trade unfortunately no enchantments that time so what do we do we break it we place it back down again and look friends that’s literally it we’re going to roll this villager through all the Minecraft’s enchantments or at least all of them that it can sell until eventually I land on

Wendy come on man come on all right so I will admit it this process is not necessarily the most fun the most brain enticing thrilling exciting explosive beautiful luscious Bodacious any other cool big words you want to throw in there yeah it’s not exactly that kind of

Process this is going to be a potentially timec consuming process potentially not depending on how lucky you are then on the right side of things though this process is going to be insanely oh that’s a potentially good trade I don’t want it today but anyways on the right side of things this is

Going to be a relatively easy process brainn numbing very very potentially tear inducing sure but so easy and if you got everything secured up and set up right zero risk involved too it’s even better so friends please allow me to introduce you to my dear friend lecturn places Aha aha aha aha mending less than one Minecraft day later like I didn’t even need to sleep or nothing like that and we got ourselves a beautiful mending lad however check out this this is the price of mending right here 26 emeralds and the grand scheme of things once I

Have an emerald operation going 26 really isn’t the worst thing in the world but this price could actually be a whole lot lower you see looking at the mathematics here I’m sorry to do this to you Lads I really am but sliding over to the math classroom

And okay I I won’t do that again that’s a terrible noise let’s say we had number but this number is a letter for no good reason at all it’s X and that number X it represents the lowest possible price for a level one trade the lowest possible price for any level one trade

Inste of Minecraft right now is going to be five emeralds so Unbreaking one you could find that for five emeralds and a book mending ah mending mending mending mending is kind of like a level one enchantment but here’s the thing mending is also a treasure enchantment for any treasure enchantments we’re going to

Have to actually go ahead and multiply the default price the base by two that’s going to mean the cheapest mending book that you can find without any zombie discounts is a total of 10 emeralds so that’s going to mean our villager over here is about half as good

As I would ideally like to get it now look I’m a man of compromise today I’m not necessarily looking for exactly specifically 10 emeralds but if I could get this trade into anywhere in the teens that would be okay with me of course if I can get 10 I would not

Complain I will take it of course but anywhere below 20 anywhere below 20 that’s funny how that worked out huh maybe anywhere below 12 that would have been so cool 14 I was a little off so mending earlier out of the episode I said you could get it in a

Total of 5 minutes well it’s all depending on luck if you grab your librarian villager place the lecn down and boom right away you just get mending well then there you go you did it really really quick other times unfortunately this process because it is all random it

Could end up taking like quite a bit of time it’s totally up to I guess your Village aha another treasure enchantment that’s really cool any other day I would maybe take that but not today no S now at a certain point in your Minecraft day your villager will simply refus to work that’s all due to its day night cycle after a certain point like in the evening the will stop claiming the Lecter job and basically at this point all that you can do is wait until

The next daytime there’s nothing you can do until Then I asked this mending villager I asked this mending villager what color bed it wanted to have and it it said yellow so yellow bed it is day number two let’s go let’s get that sweet low cost mending train one minute 37 seconds later aha aha aha

You give it a little bit of timeing just like that mending sweet sweet mending I mean 14 emeralds instead of 10 it’s not bad it’s a negotiable price I could take that price I think that’s fine except a problem so check this out now I have a

Total of eight emeralds total that’s not exactly ideal ideally here I would have all of the materials on hand so I could lock this trade in you see as soon as I trade with this librarian the trades are locked in set good forever if I say like

Walked away and came back and for some reason the Villager lost his job and regained it back well basically the trades could be reset so that’s why you want to have like paper or extra emeralds on hand from the start so listen villager I’m watching you you better behave yourself

Don’t forget the job keep it locked in and tight and good just for like 5 minutes I need to go get some more emeralds emeralds emeralds probably the easiest and quickest way to get my hands on a little bit of emeralds is by selling some of my sweet sweet profets I

Was thinking maybe carrots I don’t need those so much villager villager who my friend wants to do the job today you’re going to go ahead and just magically get right through this door somebody look workstation somebody take the job yeah you perfect oh no way and you’re already

Golden ah if I do this right here you’re going to be left out to the elements that’s so dangerous might be a little bit of a long shot might regret this one but is there any way that I could get you dear sir to just walk right up that

So look here’s what I was thinking we’re going to put you in the boat and we’re going to sail you all the way over to where I want you to be which is going to be inside of that building I’m going to take this workstation away you’re going

To want to work at that composter right there and you’re not going to have an option with an iron door slapped on this boy securly you’re trapped inside of this thing forever now all I need to do is keep rerolling your trade over until I see the carrot trade of my dreams I

Said the carrot trade of my dreams all right well it’s not too hard it’s not that difficult we just roll it over until we see the car trade of my dreams then all I need to do to get quick and easy oh that’s our first trade too no

Way I wish it was with The Mending one and not you you’re a little despicable bad behavior and all but yeah all I need to do to get all of the emeralds that I need this more than enough right now let’s trade with you good friend a

But here we go The Mending trade that we always wanted and needed 14 emeralds It could only be four emeralds cheaper oh boy it could be like double triple the price thank you so much thank you so so much I love you you’re literally the best there’s a mending a mending

Villager quick and easy now look this wasn’t initially the original plan today I did not plan on taking all the carrots I’ve worked so hard to to collect I really wasn’t going to gather all of these carrots walk over to this villager and decide to sell them all over to them

For even more emeralds but now that you say so and just like that your trade is locked for the day a darn it’s too bad I’m basically out oh wait never mind now I am so look here this operation this situation we’re going to have to beat it

Up very very soon here with a little bit of an emerald machine because right now obviously it’s a little bit of a tedious system not exactly ideal also unfortunately I just don’t have enough Emerald Supply to be able to buy mending for every single piece of armor let’s

Take a break and talk about mending over here at the base thanks to the iron air fryer 7,000 Anvil it’s not a problem also thanks to some other supplies that I grabbed each chest it’s not a problem as well so inside of the Ender Chest I’ve got an old ancient pickaxe I miss

It I I wish I could be able to use use it this is a different pickaxe I had Enchanted and look at this if I combine these two pickaxes right there we get like the best thing in the game is beautiful so while we’re at it I think

We’ll go ahead and take it it’s a lot of levels but it’s fine after that mending forther through the floor costs of just three more emeralds we could take a tiny bit of mending and slap it on top of this pickaxe and that’s like the best pickaxe

In the game right there but what I was doing all that combining unfortunately I now have my hands on a brand new perfect pickaxe this axe on the other hand very very important tool it’s not perfect if I go ahead and slap mending on that and

Then find some experience hey by the way I’m going to name this Fortune pickaxe Markiplier I think it’s a pretty fire name anyways I said if I were to go out into my world subwar and find a little bit of experience like let’s say this beauty oh

Wow I forgot about all that deep slate I have so much deep slate how did I I mean I guess I see how I would have forgotten but oh my gosh there so much let’s take a look what else I got here aqua affinity and a sword queued up ready to

Go for a little bit of enchanting huh that’s cool anyways check this this axe right now is at 840 durability if I take something out with this Axe and get a little bit of experience instead of getting experience in my bar The Experience goes to the tool basically

Mending makes it so you can heal all of your tools using just experience look at this thing that’s so beautiful so I could use the tool to get the experience itself but on Minecraft Java it even better way off hand we throw the tool in

The off hand we take it out with the main hand like say a sword and the experience will still blow all the way over to my axe if you can tell the bar is getting a little bit more green it’s perfect now the goal here like I said is

Eventually get mending on every single piece of thing in the game other than unfortunately Jack Haro mending and infinity can’t go together eventually I can see it now we’ll have mending on every single glorious piece of armor every single tool in the game is this going to be a

Goal we’re going to have to work towards a little bit slowly at least for now until I can set up some kind of emerald operation back over at the base but I’m excited now I think uh we might have to take a break from the emerald project

Unfortunately I got a kind of cool different side project coming up that I think you guys are going to love but I promise we’ll get back to it back over at home sweet home with not only the best pickaxe in the entire game but a brand new fully healed up Arthur

It’s time for the bonus build for today’s bonus build there’s only one thing that you do every good citizen will always know that any good house needs of course an interior that house is not a home it’s not fully finished until you got the inside gun here’s what

I’m thinking over here we could queue this up with like a cool counter that’ll look really really nice then swinging around behind us over here inside of this workstation they chisel the bookshelf oh it’s beautiful and it’s going to be perfect for this build but

Not all my o it’s a mistake I make every time I guess I need to start dropping all of my oak on the ground before I go into one of these things but yeah chisel bookshelf here’s what I was thinking maybe all over this wall we could have bookshelves but also chiseled bookshelves

So that’s funny looking well I promis I didn’t necessarily like mean to create that but it is what it is anyways we could put some more bookshelves inside of this thing and make it look pretty cool now I don’t know how I feel on this part like uh for the idea of storing

Books inside of this thing forever but at least right now I have a random handful of like different enchanted books what I was thinking maybe is like I guess for now I could like store them inside of this chisel bookshelf and like maybe in the future I put like mending

Books in here like if I have extra ones or something that could be kind of like a like a cool modern way to store this stuff for now enchanted books will just sit in there though I think that’ll be safe next up I would love to take a look

At maybe this back wall right there it’s kind of glaringly empty isn’t it with the help of my dear friend of this stone cutter here’s what I was thinking uh maybe what we could do is level this up a little bit here and make like

A oh Bono at least in my opinion it’s not really like cozy enough inside of this build so what I was thinking is maybe what we could do is pull out some walls strategically and make like a just a small little fireplace or something like that that could look really nice

And maybe be a cool way to finish off this wall I don’t really know exactly how it should be done though I feel like always when I’m trying to make fireplaces I like struggle I don’t know what it is like I want to keep them small but then like I don’t know they

End up getting big may maybe something like that’s not too bad though maybe that could work maybe what I could do is pull that out and pull all this out too and make like stripped logs on the top that could look kind of nice maybe a different backdrop o yeah yeah

Yeah all right look I take it all back the ideas are flowing from the back of the build it doesn’t really matter I don’t think I’m ever really going to see it but maybe something kind of like that I could like just kind of cap it off

Like that it’ll be fine what if I got dramatic in here and put like oh something like that hey that situation back the house I don’t know how in the world that’s going to end up looking okay I might just have to get rid of these windows or something but eh

Whatever whatever because of the inside oh it’s looking good look at that that makes it so much more cozy that looks cool and it matches with like the ceiling too I like it and maybe a mob head rate on that thing later on once I

Have one now hear me out I don’t know how this is going to end up looking but what if maybe to create a proper like border with the copper we just did like more copper right there and I’ll let it oxidize I don’t know I feel like

Something like that makes this part of the roof look really really cool too or room excuse me the room over here it’s looking pretty fire but I know what we could add hey hold on wait a second did somebody say lanterns inside of here but not just any lanterns lanterns with the

Brand new beautiful yellow fences tooo yeah that’s cooking that’s good maybe a chest right over there too and then this is going to be like the whole working area so that’s kind of good we got the bed over here by the Cozy fireplace I like that maybe the anavil should go

Down to like the work area because it’s like worky right hey excuse me sir just going to borrow that I got a Barrel I got a barrel and I’ve got an idea how about a night no don’t come down here what are you doing all righty then uh we

Got a villager trying to escape its own what what in the world were you doing what were you thinking with that move buddy why would you jump down there stop it we got a nightstand in here I want it upside down I feel like that looks a little bit more

Cool now above the door I kind of have this like weird awkward wall and I can’t really put like a window or anything like I would usually do to combat the weird awkwardness what I can do though is put like a shelf in there and then

Maybe on top of the Shelf I put like something let say a lantern or maybe a plant a matter of fact this plant is a nod to how it will be done in the future with the swamp when it changes officially I think we’ll probably end up

Talking about it again later but for now this is good now while I’m at it with the decorations might as well go crazy that thing is beautiful maybe I want it up here instead I don’t know now basically finally for the interior of this house I can never remember how it’s

Done but I need to get a good painting in here yay that’s how it’s going to be done I guess I’ll just roll this thing until I find one that I feel like actually that kind of fits yeah that’s good that looks cool perhaps a small pink chair for like

Sitting down there and reading while it’s working and voila today’s bonus build and the entire interior at least for now I feel like I want to do something else with this base right here it just feels so empty still but I don’t know maybe a rug or
