INSANE Minecraft 2024 Update Discovery ft. IbxCat, Pixlriffs & Ulraf!

ibx toy cat pixel reefs ulra and me got together on April 1st 2024 to play the new Minecraft April fools update a lot of crazy potato stuff happened that day and this is how it all started we have zian with us in chat which is going to be helpful oh hello it’s going to be our guide like in previous like in previous occasions yeah yeah yeah kind of like our guide but also like having fun at us all have to keep these on our heads so we’re all just going to look like this for the remainder of the stream we do look very silly yeah we are dressed for the occasion I feel like the attire the true there’s at least one thing that is unusual there is some sort of pedestal in the center of the village oh what roughly where the village Bell is uh there is this kind of Podium with a poisonous potato on it we’ll see better y okay y i I may have skipped a bit I’ve used a poisonous potato on this and uh now it’s telling me that this is a portal so I can’t do anything with this right now oh you go through it you go you step in and you go through it you start getting there yeah I think this might be our oneway ticket to the potato Dimension the particles are potatoes too I don’t know if you ideas of what we want to do and then one theme sort of gets selected and then uh we organize a few days or like a duration where everyone can join in and work on this so there’s a lot of people who worked on this yeah different features are different people obviously right but I think yeah yeah I just it was mostly just make being sure it was lots of people and there’s not cuz it does seem like an insane amount of work work looking at it yeah there’s a a renegade contingent of Mojang developers creating potato World on the side yeah is this what lies behind the portal at the ancient city is this once we once we crack the mystery of the ancient city it turns out it just leads back to potato Worlds the thing I like the most about the a fools is the fact that anyone can do random things basically like there is almost almost no filter so you can see a lot of really unrelated things together because someone just thought it’s fun and edit it basically that’s true for for the previous ones too even the one block at a time thing uh had a lot of random things that don’t really connect to one block but it was just someone thought it’s fun so they did it yeah you definitely do get the impression that they’re like there’s an overall theme but also not in the slightest like uh but here I mean maybe just cuz we’re in a dimension made of them but I’m like the potato theming someone has stayed committed to there is very little they veed from the pathon so the vicious potato attacks you good to know um yeah i’ he hting me he’s shooting something at me I don’t get how this works but it’s interesting I can make at least one more frying table though so we can each have one what does it do I it right now it just smokes um although I guess it might be like a campfire so maybe if we part of this house is that it’s not touching the ground yep so if you place a flotator you see that there is a side that looks like a piston head missing yes that’s where the pushing is going but you see the sticky part needs to be connected to whatever you want exactly now you need to power it and it basically uh figures out all the connected blocks so it’s moving the entire connected blocks but it it has a limit right there is a limit yes uh that’s why it doesn’t move the entire thing if it’s connected to the ground cuz there’s a limit to how many blocks yeah the limit is more this house though which is quite impressive what a voyage I like the fact that we also moon walk while we’re riding it yeah it’s an interesting PA the first time I saw I saw to do it I was like oh this guy is super skilled at moving really slow yeah also the fact that it has relativity that I’m jumping up and down on this on top of the middle walk of the roof but it’s not moving underneath me that’s feels like it’s made of blocks and you can’t like steer it really it just goes in One Direction until it stops because can’t you can’t interact with anything on it in the meantime so wait you could you could have different directions of these right and you choose which one to activate gy gy reminded me there is a flotator block limit game rule oh so so you can increase it if you we can’t stop it now because the r some block is that we can interact with oh you can stop at using the flotator uh if you place it there yep see that’s what that’s that’s what I was trying to do and then I didn’t realize you could place it in midair to stop yourself that’s fun and now you can change direction cuz now we can activate this one and it goes that way instead no I was going why are you not in I’m figuring it out the lashing potato lets you grapple to stuff at a distance and then you can kind of swing and then you can let go and then you can keep swinging ah I’m falling oh it caught me yeah when you fall down you get the end credits we won you get you get the end credits what also the uh the respawning sound says player Sprouts out of the ground on the subtitles oh I wonder how that yeah you have to deflect the projectiles back at it because they can’t seem to do much damage to it up close yeah I’ve been trying range weapons and they’ve not been doing anything either it’s fight I can’t hit the the Guardians for some reason yeah I think their Collision is a little bit weird they have a very cool feature that I haven’t seen yet they are not Guardians they are slab Guardians so they can stack up on each other oh can they oh that’s fun uh what okay B Guy this is all you I think the name it has is related to the to the stuff it sounds it’s also shrinking every time you kill like one of its phases it uh shrinks nice yeah let’s all go together let’s oh it’s protected protected I think attacking it when it’s protected does tons of damage to you this so confusing the potato
