good morning afternoon evening and good night ladies and gentlemen I Dead videos welcome back to Minecraft urn artifice let’s go ahead and jump right into our uh New World actually I want to check the old world real quick just to see if now that we’ve unloaded it if it will load properly so that we can go back to viewing what we had made be the spectator mode or if it’s going to stay unloaded mainly I’m just curious well that kind of worked not really but kind of I’m sure there are mods I could use to get this world back in fact I’m pretty sure I know exactly which mods to use and also uh set of iron armor and a shield we can head down and investigate IR armor hasn’t actually taken any hits yet which is pretty fun let’s say y’all let’s go take a look I think yeah let’s do it uh we worth of zombies good Lord that guy may have actually just spawned as a as a bonus Defender as you know um zombies in Minecraft can spawn in friends essentially if they’re under attack I’m almost curious if that’s actually would happened there uh tell you what while we’re working on one individual path let’s block up the other ones so they can’t come and fight us so let’s block these two there’s me baby zombies will still be able to get through that but that’s not too much of a concern okay all right let’s focus down this one path yeah these don’t have any I’m curious if there’s something down there it’s just blocked up or if it’s yeah like fully destroyed like it’s hollowed out completely it’s just underwater that’s weird that’s certainly different oh look the entire ceiling about them or did you just spawn in with armor or is your friend a leader did he just punch his friend towards me I felt like well you’re definitely a dangerous friend yeah that justes do Jack squat I prepare um okay uh how do we prepare for an undead Army I say we can make an Iron Golem but then I realize we don’t actually have the iron to make an iron golum we could make a wicker wood golum yeah we can make a wicker golum we can make a couple wicker Golems actually all right hang on okay we need the head we need a basic torso basic legs we need a bladed arm and I don’t think we can use anything else the other arm yeah yeah nothing else for the other arm uh we can make multiple blade arms we need an armor stand hi all just climb out of the dungeon they must have spawned in below and been able to see me and they caught a glimpse of me before I left or it’s because the undead arm is coming tonight anyway all right we got to get busy uh first thing is first is an armor stand we need a smooth stone slab which we have and a bunch of sticks somewhere in here is a smooth stone slab I know that it is okay I need a bunch of wheat got 18 wheat there no wheat there 61 wheat there okay that’s quite a bit of wheat I’m going to need some wood uh first logs dark oak we might as well take literally everything not slabs not slabs please I need to go fast okay um just take all the planks as well okay let’s see we need bladed arms so we need swords two how much animus dust do I have three I have three animus dust so I can make three minions uh let’s do what’s the liquor wood arm that’s like the easiest to get not a hammer one uh Grabber arm Grabber arm is probably the easiest I mean we can just do double-bladed arms that’s actually fine we need more wooden swords that’s we go that’s the correct amount go we have all the correct arms we just need to turn three of these into left arms or right arms I should say okay now we need three heads three legs perfect these do not stack very important to note basic torsos uh we need a bunch of hay blocks for that what about the basic head uh that’s easy I just need Flint I know I’ve got Flint in here somewhere oh it’s in here no two three can make more than enough hay blocks let’s get this back in here that’s fine I just need a little more inventory space that’s all I need here the basic torso just takes sticks there we’ll do armor stand real quick get this deployed we’re running out of time basic torso we need as many hay bals as we can manage it’s two per and we’re making three so we need six we have just enough wheat excellent these guys are probably going to all die but we don’t have near as much health or a bow this time so I really can’t risk dying what does he need legs an animous dust go get the next one on the goat head left arm right arm torso legs animous dust go get another one going I don’t know why I didn’t do something like this sooner I don’t know why I didn’t do something like this in the other one like we had one Golem F around but we could have had many the resources we had in the previous game we could have had an whole Army all right let’s get the armor stand put away for the moment uh I need a bell I need the bell of bidding which is a bunch of silver and iron nugget uhoh uh could smelt something made out of [Music] iron do we have anything extra made out of iron a bucket maybe you actually can’t smell buckets down into into nuggets um cuz these guys won’t do anything without a bell and the Army is coming right now probably any moment now let me see if I can sleep through the night oh [ __ ] do we skip it might skip it um let’s get down to the mines and see if we can find a single iron I should brought the silver down with me so that if I found the iron I can make the Bell before I head back up just double cheing to make sure I didn’t have you know like something in there I could use for iron I don’t know how much iron we’ll find down here but we can we certainly need to give it a shot if finding at least one iron or at least an iron nugget maybe these pops will help me that’s torches that’s better than nothing do we check this area I don’t know if we checked this area there’s obsidian down here I don’t remember seeing obsidian at any point so that’s a good sign that we haven’t been down here okay can’t put torches here one second we’re on the Quest for iron and we find nothing huh all right getting a little baked down here it’s a little hot by a little hot I mean a lot of hot let’s let ourselves cool down for a second I love like as if I was the one that was hot in real life I think maybe the drums just mean that there’s a higher chance of the uh event spawning in that it’s going to spawn in because I mean I feel like the event would stop us from sleeping I’m pretty sure it does that said it’ be quite a way to beat back a invasion of the undead by having an army of Golems at my back call I think that’d be pretty cool honestly that said also maybe I just throw some Golems outside just to guard me cuz good Lord there’s a lot of crap sometimes well it’s shame we can’t make a a wooden Shield guy which to be fair it makes sense cuz that Shield literally made him invulnerable to a lot of attacks like it took a lot to bring that guy down in our last game fun it was a horde of zombies that killed us last time and him so it’ be very appropriate if we died again to a hord of zombies but I’d rather not that’s a big hole with not not a lot to show for it I’m going to lie oh we know there’s some iron in the uh big hole behind the house if we can’t find any in here there is this Jack diddly squat down here got to be careful placing torches around all this gravel the [ __ ] was that I think it’s a squid dying but I can’t be certain man I’m going to lie the reflectance of that water is really screwing with my brain right now um I say we head back oh iron I think that was a hunter a witch hunter that like poked his face out of the water for a second there was drowning or something anyway we got enough iron for what we need so let’s go get our uh our Bell built as soon as possible because we need it to guard us from those go the we need those Golems to actually be active we can use them for something else later but right now I just want them to basically wander around killing things around the base honestly I might even set them to actually Patrol the area once we build a delegation station later cuz we can build a delegation station relatively easily I would check what it was right now but I don’t remember or I’m uh currently a little preoccupied with you know surviving we’re doing my best to survive I should say and uh we could very much um use some patrols just going around it around the outside of the house but also actually if we put them down in the zombie area and there’s enough of them to kill the Zombies off before they take damage we could use them as a rotten flesh Farm which means we could use them to farm leather basically via the rotten flesh I don’t care that it’s inefficient just get it done okay I need what else do I need for the Bell two I need five silver a string and a carpet of any color carpet of any color uh just need some flax or string there’s string and then uhoh um the staff transmute can it seriously only transmute blocks of copper well that’s a problem it can make it one to one there it can only do cops copper blocks um where was some other place we saw copper um y’all know where we saw copper have any other copper ore in here just like hiding no we don’t um [ __ ] that’s really bad it was five we needed right yeah it’s five ah [ __ ] I got to try and find more copper too must have been some copper that just went past right I didn’t mine it I like I don’t need that much copper I’ve got some it’s gold love that we’ve come back down here twice Now red stone the Redstone leaves me hopeful that I might have left some copper behind somewhere okay there’s iron here which means I haven’t even been here unfortunately you can’t use the raw Sil you can’t use real silver in place of magical silver doesn’t work that way oh copper okay that’s a start where there’s one where there’s a little bit of copper there’s usually a lot of [Music] copper there’s more torches down that way interesting so we’ve been on that side of the wall stand around and do nothing basically um I think they actually will attack like zombies and stuff that get near them even if they uh aren’t like set to guard essentially so I think they’re always hostile to things like zombies there we go get all this out of the way and we have plenty more copper as well if we need it excellent okay minor crisis minorly averted we can also take down to the dungeon with us if we desire to have them help kill us or kill stuff not us we do not want them killing us that would be very bad that would defeat the entire purpose anyway okay how much iron do we have right now we have eight iron six seven takes seven iron to make the spell oh it’s the creepy dude outside he’s being beat up by a pixie or pixie beat him up I’m not entirely certain damn he do be blasting though that guy’s pretty strong I think he’s part of the demon faction even though he looks like he’s Undead I think he’s part of the demon faction anyway okay we technically have enough iron to make The Brak spell and I think we should cuz the infused silk takes a yeah single Mystic Focus which is glass surrounded by nuggets thankfully we have the ability to do that real [Music] quick Mystic Focus two silk that is yeah wool and string I have string just need a wool I don’t have a wool but I do have shears somewhere there and there are plenty of things outside I can Shear okay well now that we have our army of minions let’s go ahead and think a little more calmly about stuff and proceed normally at least somewhat normally you blasting what just beams of energy he do we blast him set this to vertical column I want this on the entrances what other animations are that bro I’m curious what that one looks like that’s fancy fade isn’t just like it fades into existence yes it does like that and then you’d have every fourth slab essentially you’d have dark oak slab plus dark oak fence youd have like one over just like that does that actually prevent you from walking off the side I’m curious no it does not it does not prevent you from walking off the side okay that’s not bad looking like this and then this would be up again this is just a a matter of demonstration it’s not what our actual staircase would look like cuz this is a very straight staircase at the moment as as possible at the world border using Pistons you have to use pistons to get the combined slabs all the way back yeah it’s not happening um we need to figure out how to curve this as well CU it has to be a circle around this bloody thing keep that in mind it’s got to be a circle yikes that might be more difficult than I thought um and then what be like here here and then there’d be a fence slab here how do I curve this so I like this design we just have to figure out how to curve it my we I mean me I got to figure out how to curve it this is the most complicated build I’ve ever made in Minecraft I’m not going to lie curved stairs are the most complicated thing I’ve ever done in this game the dirt oh it’s right here it’s in the hole I thought I had dirt in my inventory so I was very confused okay so to actually make this as a curve St it’s a curved staircase it has to be like here and then it needs to go around like this no like I’m over complicating this at the same time I really don’t know how to do stairs like that’s wrong going out to at most before it curves back in I you know I think my um my wooden pillars they’re actually [ __ ] me over give me a second I need a different spell I done it with break yeah probably but that was fun I mean the easiest way to do do it would be to do a single like slab at a time it’s not that simple it just doing this and doing like I don’t know this looks bad still in my opinion doesn’t look good I feel like I generally need to go look up a build how to make [ __ ] stairs I feel so dumb right now I mean cuz I could make a simple spiral staircase around a Center Point that’s really easy to do around a single Center Point like let’s say this around a Center Point that’s really easy doing it around a gigantic building is a lot harder what I have just realized um I could make a staircase in the center it won’t look as good though I mean the nice part about this being a circle circular building that’s odd it does have a center it’s right here this is the center but the idea was for me to have my crafting stations all along the outside creator and I mean I just want to steal his work you know that’s like really jacked up okay how to build spiral stairs correctly in Minecraft welcome to a Minecraft tutorial about adding spiral stairs to your builds that look great and you or anyone on your server can easily use them to ascend or descend Levels by the end of this video you should fully understand how to add spiral stairs to your builds and you’ll be able to plan out your entire builds around them we are going to build our spiral staircase with slabs and to do that we have to think about the rise per block with stairs we’re all used to ascending one full block per stair block but with slabs we only Ascend one half block per slab and that means our staircase becomes much longer for example normal stairs can raise a character four blocks high in just a four block long staircase however when climbing slabs the same four block rise requires eight blocks so the slab staircase will always be twice as long as 1 m stairs and keep that number eight in mind as I show you how to plan your builds to include spiral stairs so as the player travels forward and to the right they will rise half a slab per block so you may be trying to follow my logic here and thinking why not use stairs if they raise the player a full block okay let’s try it I have noidea what’s going on second block they need a flat platform on which to turn and go right that means we have to place a flat PL plank here where the player can turn place a stair here but then we reach another corner and have to place another plank the player has traveled four blocks to get to here but they have only risen two blocks which is the same distance they would have traveled and risen even if these were slabs and frankly this just looks a little goofy by using all slabs we will have consistent stairs in every block so it will look better and Inspire confidence in ascending the stairs so let’s start building a proper spiral stairs I’ve built here a 5×5 room with one side removed inside which we can build the spiral staircase you don’t want your spiral staircase to have a giant hole going down through the middle or players might accidentally fall through the center and die instead build your spiral stairs around a post of some kind I’m using strip Spruce logs to create a post four blocks high then to the left and forward of the post I’m going to place the first slab on the ground and then I’m going to place another slab behind it at the top of the same block so as you can see here I’ve now created a one block rise within two blocks I’m going to continue going around this post placing bottom slabs and top slabs until I reach the top we now have a spiral stairs that is eight blocks long wrapped in a circle raising the player for blocks and notice something else the top slab is directly over the starting spot before for the first slab at the bottom this means the next slab will go directly over the starting slab this will be the bottom slab in a new a block four high segment of spiral stairs what this means is you can tile or stack this entire segment upward and now that’s exactly what I’ve done we have two four high segments of spiral stairs the player needs at least two blocks of space to walk in and in order to rise without bumping our head we need two and 1 half blocks of space before each higher slab and with this design we’ve achieved this we arrive at this slab directly overhead of the space next to the starting slab let me add walls to either side to create doorways to better illustrate how this factors into doorways in your build so now you can see that we’re here on level one and when we Traverse one spiral stair segment we arrive at level two here the doorways can be directly above one another providing a nice symmetry this makes each level three blocks high which is a pretty typical room height think about it this room is 3 m tall or 10 ft tall doesn’t seem like 10 ft does it but with this spiral stero system it’s perfectly fine to skip a level so let’s delete what we’re calling level two here and close the level above let’s add another doorway up here where the third level arrives and let’s put a floor there just so we can see the room height we now have a rather tall level that is s blocks high that is 20 3 ft high that makes this a rather room but it’s also possible to offset the height of the rooms by adding doorways on different sides of the original spiral stairs let’s get rid of this wall so that we can see what we’re doing again notice that these slabs on each side of the staircase are top slabs therefore we can comfortably go up 10 slabs to like here and create a doorway now if I add a floor here and bring it around to this side for comparison each level is now 4 M High that’s 13 ft if we go up another 10 slabs and add a doorway here that’s where the next level goes this spiral staircase would need to be centralized within your build so that it can connect to exits on various sides of the stairs but if we go back to having all the exits on the same sides every 4 to8 blocks up then we wind up with a tower this spiral stair configuration would allow you to build a multi-level structure next to this stairs with each level being four or eight or 12 blocks high any blocks high as long as it’s a multiple of four the placement on the side might be awkward in some builds for example a Norman style keep always has its Towers on the corners that means moving the towers so that the start and arrival steps are on the corner rather than right in the middle fortunately you can change the location of the arrival step simply by starting one block later so here we have another small four High room with the entrance at the corner rather than the side rather than starting in this corner in front of the Center Post start beside it and place these subsequent stairs going up and we arrive right at the corner we can have walls to either side and the tower still juts out a little bit on the exterior side can you build them starting to the right and spiraling counterclockwise to the left certainly but the standard since the Middle Ages has been for stairs to spiral clockwise to the right and there’s a strategic reason anyone going up these stairs with a sword in their right hand is at a strategic disadvantage because this post is always in the way whereas anyone coming down the stairs has free swing range on the right you may be watching me go up and down these stairs and feel like it’s a bit claustrophobic this is also easy to fix here is a 7X seven room that is still four high let’s put our Center column in the middle and make it four high too starting here in front of the post simply place two slabs on each level at the corner place four slabs like this to create a small Landing do the same at Each corner as you raise the player up to the fourth block if these big Square Landings look a little wonky to you then you might be more in favor of building your spiral stairs inside a 7 by seven circular Tower here’s a 7 by seven circular room like before we start C at the corner in front of the post with the two slabs two more and then three slabs at the corner repeat this until you arrive at the space above the start and you should find these stairs to be as roomy as desired but a little better at the corners let’s do it again with the start and arrival at the corner start with two SL beside the column then a corner piece and then continue up to arrive using a final corner piece if you’re building a freestanding spiral staircase then it’s the same but different to place the corner slab sometimes you have to place a temporary slab place the corner slab then delete the previous one and replace it a half slab upward freestanding stairs are going to seem a little unsafe especially the higher you go so I strongly recommend creating a railing around them using trap doors like this so that’s true I can but the problem with that is that it consumes all the space in the tower cuz like let’s just assume right if I make the staircase in the tower I can use those tips right but it takes up this space that means I can’t stand in the middle and access my tools I have to go out to the edges and access my tools although the inside is going to just be that hm I I love that chat is now just like okay here’s our ideas for staircases here’s how we’re going to do it which I’m all for it throw some ideas at me I could just very what is the stairs mode on this to anyway probably just
