Insane Minecraft Adventure in Hardcore West! EP49

Oh hi There hello everyone I’m be cow corn and this is episode 49 of hardcorn teralith Series 2 uh we are off in the Far Western uh regions or at least a fair amount out there how far out are we actually we’re like 18,000 blocks out um

So the question is do we go a little farther or do we kind of cut North or South for a little ways and then head back home uh this is like the third or fourth uh session going out I say we go out a little farther let’s see what’s

Out there and then after this uh session next time we’ll cut over a little bit and then uh head back Homeward so let’s see what’s up behind me here so we got to cross this River here I see some salmon splashing in it right now doggy should have no problem uh following

Me we’re in terth Highlands here of course some more of these episodes that I do before heading back the more I’m going to have to go over and uh make a list of all the biomes that we went to oh there’s a village over here looks uh looks

Vanilla we got they got these uh Stone spikes there A lot of times those will indicate that there is a Cave System Down Below in teralith right now we’re trying to explore the surface biomes one of the little quirks of uh teralith is that will actually use slabs in the terrain

Generation to make some of the terrain a little more smoothly and uh yeah I picked up a few dogs along the way ran into a pack uh during my Explorations and uh tame them and uh there’s a puppy among them he’s grown up now I believe yep all right so

Let’s careful here uh I think we’ll go over and check out this Village I want to see what biome that’s in actually actually this one over here looks like it might be a a different biome than that one there so we’ll check that out first okay forested

Highlands these red uh red trees here let me see do I have yeah I got silk touch here yeah you can see when that breaks it’s it’s just dark oak leaves but uh terth uses the the the biome colors to to adjust that make them red over here gives it a nice fall

Look let’s see what have we got over here River obviously temperate Highlands and looks like some oak leaves that have just been colored out of there hello be over this way hey guy um I’m yeah I’m pretty much ducked out as it is let’s just see what we got I’ll take

Those I don’t think you’re actually using them for stuff so come on out puppy little sheep leave the Sheep alone dogs you guys really need to take care of your long here yeah the uh the Shader got a question about that in the chat uh the Shader I’m using is actually not that

New it’s been around for a while it’s uh silder shaders uh enhanced default and uh basically the only features on it that I have turned on are we going west yeah we’re going west the features I have turned on on it are the shadows and the you know the

Sunbeams and uh the Water you know Reflections and textures and all that cuz I think it looks nice all right let’s see if these dogs will follow me all all the way this way at some point I think I’m going to lose them CU I’m sure at some point I’m going to

Be you know just traveling by boat and they’re going to stay behind but for the moment they’re coming along with me temped Highlands we get a little Gap here uh come down this way go around it might have more shrub land uh coming up okay I see some smoke over there in the

Distance so probably another Village uh actually have a village right there wonder if it’s a continuation oh wait a minute that’s uh not just smoke that looks like it is the uh what you call it the Yellowstone biome carth has a number of biomes that are modeled after uh actual places in the

World and their particular you know looking feel hello no you just going to sit in the tub okay I mean there’s a there there’s a thing right there you could be a something come on out okay fine just sitting there somehow reminds me of something I saw in a movie Once let’s see

So uh let’s go and set the bed out over here we’ll go ahead and camp out out here and then we’ll go across into that Yellowstone biome take another look at it and there it is all right great camp like literally I guess I can stay there all right

Uh yeah you got to watch out here think is about the Yellowstone biome you get all this a lot of magma down under the water but oh yeah the edges of the water with you know it’s it’s it’s really beautiful o got to be careful there are lava

Underneath don’t fall in there doggies oh yeah it’s it’s a beautiful one um the Yellowstone biome that’s the one that gets uh really gets showcased in uh you know in the uh logos and and all that kind of thing screenshots and all that you see for it for uh for teralith

Um it is very picturesque and uh the smoke this part smoke particles you see coming up there um the thing is carth just uses all all of vanilla stuff so basically you’ve got a camp fire down there all right cats not dogs not cats dogs stay out of the water

You’re going to get hurt come on now I should go back to safer terrain with these guys they’re uh apparently not that bright about it let’s see uh this got their tail down so couple of them maybe you need food well you won’t take that anyway all right that’s

Fine let’s continue on head back this way and go over to this terrain see what this is so coming out of Yellowstone we going into Alpine Highlands I think we have a little little corner of this uh right on the seaside uh back at the

Base see a bit more of it here with the Terracotta and and all that oh big old Cliff there that must have been just the smoke particles I saw but yeah it achieves that by putting uh campfires underneath so some of the magma blocks um let’s see if I can

Get you guys another one of these there we go all right where’s the chickens at there you go there you go thank you oh I should have put the thing in my hand oh well oh we’ve got uh some icebergs right ahead and we’re in the tiger

Here just kind of hug the coast over here see a little drop in the uh R per second there oh looks like we had a little bit of uh frames missed get that a little bit with the terth it does have a pretty fair impact on uh on the

Processor during terrain generation it’s a bit more processor heavy than the vanilla biomes um looks great now you can counteract that you can compensate for that by uh by doing pregeneration there’s a mod called chunky that I believe the peral uh developers recommend for that I’ve used

It uh since updating my processor though it seems to be good enough but um prior to that side what are we in snowy t it was yeah Siberian tiger interesting I don’t think that’s one that I’ve been in yet more snowy it looks like oh my okay um all righty

Sorry just trying to pick my way along here a bit quiet it’s you know I’m trying to pay attention to what I’m doing Siberian tiger I guess not all necessarily snowy it’s got uh orange leaves on some of the trees it’s very pretty there now the thing is from I remember correctly in

Uh if you have a terth world and you plant a sapling it’s going to grow normally the uh the vanilla tree whatever it’s uh all the stone here um it’s going to it’s going to grow the vanilla tree that that sapling is for uh but I believe there is either mod or

Or a third party uh data pack that uh you can also load and and it will you know grow the uh the teroth uh variations of the trees you know appropriate to the okay we’re going to take care of that right now done and done let’s

Uh go and get this thing mended up a bit what’d you give me sticks couple of sticks uh fetch fch okay just look at me all right that’s fine let’s see what she’s got this looks like just a normal witch hut but uh don’t see a cat and just the cauldron and whatever

She dropped um oh yeah there’s the cat over there yeah I think uh yeah the Siberian tiger they just sometimes get a uh a witch hut no chicken legs on it just uh just the Hut if you get that reference uh you know give me a comment in the uh on there

Oh more doggies bunch of them let’s go see if I can get some more friends that was cold hey pups hey you like do you like bones I got some bones there you go hey right away and if oh okay now if you’re noticing these wolves are looking and moving a bit

Differently uh that is because I also have um oh what was the resource pack uh fresh animations that’s what it was oh my goodness I got so many dogs now all right uh I’m going to Chuck the wool sure no one will get that reference uh let’s see I see another one over

Here more friends there we are one and done oh wow look at all these guys oh all these good boys and maybe some are girls I don’t know uh we’re going to stay away from that because we don’t want uh crispy boys and girls all right um Sun is going down let’s go

Ahead and swap some things around down the bed guys get out of the cave please hope nothing comes up but uh maybe these guys will guard me there we are okay uh any of y’all a little low on health I’m trying to look at the tails to see which if any

Are hurt or injured you maybe might have been it’s not making a heart so I’m guessing he’s fed all right ah another one hey pal me uh tap you with the bone here there we go all right wow I’m down to just half a stack maybe we should stay up one night

And uh let these guys go after uh some skeletons anyway continuing to the West uh this way I think it’ll be an easier passage up here sounds like some of them are going in the water anyway come on I’m leading yall across the ice and you just jump down the water

Oh my goodness I got so many so so many dogs so so many oh and there’s another hello where join the pack come on there you go I’m just going to keep the bones out they keep bumping into me though this could be dangerous uh we’ll go down this

Way all right going into a snowy terrain up ahead I do not have um proper boots for this oh there’s a fox and another wolf over there we’ll leave the wolf for now what are we getting to snowy tiger um yeah I don’t like snow I honestly just do not like

It I’m afraid of sinking down into it cuz that’s happened all right over here and I may have to leave my guys behind what effects do you guys have what did they do all right well let’s check across the ice um or maybe I can go over there that way

And get and stay on land or close enough to let these guys keep up I don’t want to lose them I don’t want to leave them behind I know at some point that I will it’s it’s it’s almost a given but you know you do what you can

All right let’s see what we got here this looks different what is this ice Marsh yeah I’ve not been in this one before it’s uh looks like it’s basically a snowy swamp and then we get into plain old Forest uh let’s see what’s this way around here uh what let’s

Let’s head back this way and go around over here hopefully they don’t jump over the side all right through tiger and then the forest okay what do we got uh a little river here okay we can cross that doggies will all pop up on the other side there we go oo so much

Shaking okay whoa careful there just go through the forest here that’s fine maybe we’ll find more doggies uh looks like more snow go more to this side hey pigs H not more snow this is probably uh yeah more Yellowstone except the stone is white there’s a yellow stone uh if you are not

Familiar with the uh national parks in the US uh Yellowstone is probably one of the most famous um yeah make a note of it and later on after the stream or tomorrow if that’s after uh your bedtime uh go and uh Google that up there’s lots of nice uh pictures and stuff okay

That looks like a neat little structure over there we also have the structur data pack loaded up with adds us some extra oh that looks like another Skylands biome we’ve run into both the spring and the summer and I think we’ve spotted the fall this looks like it might be yeah

This looks like the winter from all of the uh the ice hanging off the bottom yeah the thing is those are always over water oh what do we got here hey guy a just a one hey fellas want join us yeah join the pack come on there you go

Now the problem is with the with the winter Skylands I’m pretty sure uh we’re probably not going to see any uh waterfalls that we can go up so that’s kind of going to be something that we’re only going to be able to access with uh like an elytra or

Something or uh some very termined bridging so yeah we’re just going to have to admire this one from afar I think but it looks pretty cool I like it all right so while back the Skylands I think maybe summer was the variant was the only one they

Had and uh then a little while back they added the different seasons spring summer winter and fall in no particular order all right actually they did them all at once okay we’re going to cross over here and uh love that um it’s really easy to miss those though if you’re like you

Know watching your step you know make sure you’re not you know falling on stuff unless you happen to look up every so often especially when you’re coming by uh water um cuz that’s where it’s going to be uh you may easily miss them the uh first one I came across was a

Spring variant and it it definitely kind of showed up even in my field of view uh before I noticed it cuz I just wasn’t looking up there uh up here I think careful pups gravel Beach is over here all right I’m going to go and visit whoever’s in here actually

I may need to Camp first all right guys you got to move out of the way fortunately that dat counter just goes right over it oh we’ve gone to 366 which uh this is a leap here so yeah I’m going to say when this day is

Over we will officially have uh been on this world for one Minecraft year come on now it’s taken a bit more than an actual year to do it get up go I thought the sun was lower for some reason anyway I’m going to sleep you guys can stand guard

Go um see if you can catch up to me uh let’s see actually we do want to go west which is that’s South so West would be this way o that’s like open ocean that way so uh let’s go back to Shore and see what we can get

Here um I’m going to come in this way over here all right on up guys let’s see if uh the land continues West over here doesn’t look like it does you okay sound like one of them got hurt okay just a little planes here so

Uh terth doesn’t really add a lot to the ocean so there’s not really a lot of point in going over continuing over this stop it guys continuing over this way so what we’re going to do um and we’re about a third of the way into this one let’s go aad head and oh

My more of them that might be the same one we had before but they tend to come in clusters all right so we’re going to go ahead and head north much as we can we may have to go back uh to the other Shore and we’re basically going to go north

For the rest of the Stream just in the probably vain hope that we can bring these doggies all the way home which is at this point oh a good 21,000 blocks away yeah we we we’ve come a long way all right guys come along on this little floating spit of gravel

Dang they all are kind of crowding me here all right so yeah that is North we’re going to head along the shore here and continue North as far as we can or until the end of this uh scheduled stream and uh I say scream stream oh my goodness

And uh yeah and then next uh next session we’ll we’ll cut back yeast basically I don’t want to just follow the same path home that uh that I took getting here actually just some more Yellowstone o careful here don’t go falling down puppies cross here give them a shorter Crossing there they

Go ah here we go more of them or one more anyway come here you there you go not sure if there are more up there are just chickens okay why was there a seed there all right just vanilla Forest here so far H uh I may have to go around

This oh yeah there’s the uh Skyland up there okay okay Um up more Shore here I probably have to cut back over this way a bit before continuing on so we’ll go around the shore here see if we can’t uh then cut back uh North okay um see if we can get past these trees oh uh um yeah we’re going to cut

Bees all right what do we got over here more gravel Beach yep more gravel Beach all right we’re going to cut across over here this should still be no this is East uh North is that way so we’re still kind of cutting back the way we came here all right trying to get

North we were just cutting East to go around the water here okay I could be more PLS over there or something else or just a small island uh we may have just uh another Island here let’s get on across at least uh see what we’re working

With like a sunken [ __ ] but it right now it is time sleep get that dog butt out of my face all right day 368 nice okay ow okay gotta be careful see it’s Tall Grass that’s another thing that teret does is it makes more grass there’s a few other little

Adjustments to uh some of the vanilla biomes adds a few things o okay this is of some possible interest but we may have have some bad guys in here in case you had noticed uh I am playing hardcore ice that it’s right up on shore but uh okay so we’ve

Got ship on its side right next to this guy all right guys stay off the magma in fact um let’s cover that one up and nothing of use okay well you know what actually let’s take advantage of this checking these seeds in here keep that handy all right all right guys

Around need some air anyway okay uh there’s the puppies all right what uh what else will be useful some C card I can top that off oh he’s in there oh yeah I’d like to take that what should I do all right um I guess I could take the crafting table and put some of these iron nuggets together get all those and then get the hard of the SE with that or maybe the diamond not sure which Let’s uh go on up here and do that come on

Now all right so uh three of those right take this back put that sand down in here all right there you are okay Chuck the sand uh diamonds I can get anywhere I’m going to grab the heart of the sea keep the bones handy okay uh water

Um East we want to go north but yeah I think we kind of reached our limits here far as going north or or west so that’s fine I just go across the water here no biggie we’ll just do a little island hopping it’ll go across here too careful

Got trying to see if that was a Structure over there part of this journey we did uh we did go via um the ocean all over water we’re seeing a fair number of boats from the uh from the structur data pack uh I’m not going to get any leather from these

Guys watching for cows all right that is North this is the way we want to be going oo uh another wild world over here come here guy come on calm down now he’s just going after the Sheep come on just take what you need where are you over

Here uh did I have one sitting I don’t know anyway uh which way is which here North this way four more bones I might have missed a puppy over there I kind of feel bad about that but what are you going to do Aline Highlands again careful pups okay here

Lava you guys be real careful yeah it’s down in that cave over there don’t be going in there all right we’re going to scooch over here and go over land to see if we can get to uh there Alpine Highlands again it can be some treacherous terrain

There’s a lot of lot of little gaps and stuff like this oh my goodness um yeah we’ll come around this way I had a base once uh in Alpine Highlands a lot of little crevasses and such that was in the the uh my original uh hardcore intera

Series I forget how many episodes of that I had more than I’ve had in this one not all that much more ran into a bit of trouble in the nether bit of a misadventure don’t know what possessed me to to even try it all right we’re getting

There hope they got some cows cuz I really could use some leather hey guys or maybe someone who will sell me some uh leather boots that oh okay nice not sure what happened there but uh there’s just a piece of leather kind of dangling all right guys watch careful around the

Uh the deals there careful stay out of the stay out of the fire get out of the fire you stupid dog get out of it oh my goodness what am seriously get up my goodness I swear can’t take youall anyway anywhere uh I’ll go ahead and take these stop pushing me oh my

Goodness I’m starting to regret getting this many friends okay uh let see all that’s junk all right yeah well you know you shouldn’t you should have gotten out of the fire you know you should have just gotten out of the fire don’t follow me in here you know what I’m getting that

Leather excuse me all right I feeling it’s going to be a big huge pain in the butt to put down my uh crafting table and all that so I’m just going to find somebody who has one all right you’re guarding that place jealously oh my goodness how do you get around this

Place there crafting table though uh let’s see leather boots check those and I’m just going to keep the boots on hand all righty hey guys all right so yeah I’ll just swap into the Lea boots as we go into the snowy areas uh we’re still going north still going

North it just seems kind of prudent to to have some leather boots on hand probably something I should have done right from the beginning of this trip but you know what are you going to do all right Sun’s getting low let’s swap this stuff around and bed

Down for the you guys guys I swear all just the worst okay all right warm more bones just in case we have any uh that’s eastwards we kind of want to cut North if we can basically want to get as far north as we can uh this session or the remainder of this

Session and then next time we do head back East back towards uh towards home which actually whoops what am I doing the wrong thing yeah pretty much that way right we’ll go through here and there’s some cows whole herd of them careful of the water I know I

Know once I’ve gotten rid of these Bones and I feel certain that we’re going to find uh some wolves along the way that I can use them on I’ll uh start try trying to grab y all some meat and figure out which of y’all need some healing uh look like a river here we’re

Just going to go ahead and cross it so much shaking all right good old Tiger looks like we’ve uh got a little terorist biome up ahead here more gravel and stuff like here might have a little clearing here so tiger a big grally area in it okay what do we got here forested

Highlands again all right I’m just going to cut across obviously we got to a river here that we’re going to need to cross I might as well do it now all right you guys stop knocking me in the water what if there’s like a zombie or something right there huh coming after

Us all these boulders up and over oh okay down over this way then out for the cave I’m sure you can handle whatever comes out ooh careful don’t knock me over oh my goodness you guys are just so underfoot there are both advantages and disadvantages to having this many dogs oh my

Old growth Pine tiger and what do we got over here probably the forest and Highlands again okay more of the slabs like you see in the terth biomes I wonder I don’t think I’ve seen the slabs showing up in any of the vanilla biomes with teralith loaded

Uh they do have some things that uh that they alter a little bit that they tweak a bit on the vanilla biomes you know like having more grass and stuff in the plains um and there’s like some sort of random path going around in the uh Savannah almost like game paths and

Um I don’t think I’ve seen any uh instances of uh slabs oh my okay we’re going to go this way a bit like we do in some of these here I wonder if that’s something that they’ve considered and just not done or just something they just haven’t gotten around to

Yet cuz you know there’s the new biomes to create and tweak hello chickens all right we going to get through this seems like it goes on forever might be thinking out some still says old growth though signs of some Lush Caverns down below uh not too far down below

Apparently I can’t really see okay that’s fine uh ooh yeah like right here nice don’t push me don’t push me dang it dogs back off y are just a little too eager here okay let’s see got about 10 minutes to go in uh the schedule all right we’re going to pop across

Here just see how far we can go so far this section has been pretty much vanilla okay getting into the Birch Forest hello chickens veering East a little bit here I believe yeah North and then East over there okay but uh yeah the uh the the slabs they kind of stand

Out in the teralith biomes and I want these gravel paths I want to that’s something that uh to be honest I’ve not really done a lot of exploration in uh vanilla Minecraft and uh 118 and later so as far as what’s normal and vanilla and what’s not um yeah not 100% knowledgeable of

That but uh there is a teralith Wiki if you want to go to that take a look and see uh what’s what as far as uh their biomes go and uh what changes they list as uh as uh making to the vanilla biomes probably find some information there I’m not going

The grass will hide it that looks like a structure over there we’re going to check that out and judging by the uh use of the slabs over there that’s definitely some terth biome there all right okay let uh all right we have a ruin here it looks like let’s go ahead and

Any chests or any in these things or if it’s just the ruins kind tempted to dig underneath but oh my God these dogs I think it’s just one of the variations of ruins that uh structur adds okay we’re going to continue North hopefully not fall in a hidden hole someplace

And into the Alpine Highlands yeah let’s get across here the fishies all right more Alpine Highlands watch out for the berries yeah they’re very got a lot of brush and trees and such in here which can be handy if you’re looking for wood watch out for the berries again oh watch

Village oh what do we got up ahead here that looks like a fortified Village up on a cliff side kind of have the same situation back home shutting out over Cliffs like that yeah we’re going to head over that way look around in there and that might be where we uh end today’s

Stream do want to take another look a little around here get out of the way all right could cut across you know go around but we’re just going to I’m just going to swim across they’ll catch up I’m sure if they don’t I’ll go back for them later on

Here and we got these they up to a big old honeycomb up there hanging down like it’s bringing in uh big uh you know beeswax uh deal but inside it’s a mix of stuff we got this deal looks like a dojo with a restroom over there and then we got the uh upstairs

With a big map room fish tank with no fish in it for somehow and then the big uh be thingy so like making candles it looks like yeah it’s odd oh my goodness you dogs just get so much in the way all right come on now guys come on out like teleporting from

Still north good ah must been those trees got a little Savannah over there all right com to this little village outside of the uh the Fortified Village up on the hill there yeah see now that I’ve made my leather boots no more snow biomes that’s how it is this guy looks

Mud yeah the fresh animations uh adds a few things like that all right continuing to the north we want to get uh as far north as we can and there’s another Village over there we got the uh the Fortified Village up that that’s a ter with Edition we’ve got our regular Plains

Village down there and then we’ve got a savannah Village over here it’s like Village City here so we’re going to try to get shoot that was that was close that could have been bad I got to watch where I’m going all right so we’re going

To try to get as far as Village over here and that oh yeah we’re already over we’re already over our time by a couple minutes so we’re going to come in here to the Village do a little sign off uh maybe camp and then uh that’ll

Be that’ll be it actually you know what we’re going to camp for the night then do the sign off I’m just going over going over a couple minutes already it won’t hurt all right let’s come to the middle of the village here get my bed everyone else is going to

That is going to be it for this session we uh went over by a good 3 minutes uh We’ve Come pretty much as far north as we’re going to get uh well I guess that way is the north some uh some more terth biomes back there behind me I think

That’s like hot shrub land or something like that we’ve been through that one before uh so we’re going to next time we’re going to head east over here through the Savannah and whatever’s beyond that and head uh back towards home uh we’re good 19,000 blocks out

From home uh and about uh looks like about 4,000 blocks uh to the north that we went so we’re definitely going to be going through a new terrain through uh or or at least A New Path um heading home oh and it’s raining well anyway uh
