Insane Minecraft build: 9,000 block sky bridge!

From World English school today I’m doing a video of uh the skybridge so this is going to be uh kind of an interesting one I think because uh what we’re looking at is an 8,000 plus uh long block uh blocks long skybridge and what that means is that uh

It takes a long time to get there so the first thing I’m going to do is place down some uh place down a mine cart here so actually I think I may not ready for my horse yet so let’s go ahead and tie him back up should I you know here’s the question

Should I take the horse or the thing is if I take the um if I take the horse right it’s going to take a long time to get to um that location and also one more thing is I need a uh crafting table Yeah the the problem with the uh length

Of this uh skybridge is that it’s so long now that it uh it really takes away from the enjoyment you know because it takes so long to get there you know what I mean so that’s one of the problems I’m going to go ahead and put the cobblestone in

There take the crafting table and I’m thinking um kind of thinking out loud here if I want to take some sticks and some um yeah just some sticks cuz I do have sticks right there okay I was prepared for that okay I guess I you know what I’m not going

To I’m not going to um take I’m not going to load up a mine cart I’m just going to go and uh start traveling along the sky Bridge so I’d like to time this because I’d like to know how long it takes with the horse so let’s get to the

Edge of the skybridge and if you’ve seen uh these videos before you might have seen the skybridge it’s it’s kind of one of the the biggest uh structures in the game anything in here no nothing in there I brought a silk touch uh pickaxe too which is just in case I come across

Some mine okay um I think I’m going to start this timer on my cell phone here um because I’d like to see how long this is going to take so just one moment here I got to open my timer always have a hard time finding it here we go okay I got

It okay starting now all right so we’re 5 seconds in we’re going to see how long this takes Let’s uh zoom out to this perspective here um if you’re wondering why the horse is blue it’s because it is uh covered with diamond into armor so that’s the reason it’s

Blue and let’s go ahead and turn off my materials there we go take a sip of coffee here okay we’re 30 seconds in and we’ve reached the first Mountain that’s just to our right there yeah so this Sky Bridge the original idea was I found that it was so

Difficult to you know cross uh land that is so bumpy and everything you know and you can’t really rely on the evenness of the ground so I decided to build this skybridge in order to just make it easier you know to travel over rough ground that’s why I did that um I don’t

Want to switch to my inventory now but you can see the glass there um along the path and that glass is uh going to extend at least my plan is that it’s going to extend all the way to to the very end of the of the sky Bridge so but

It takes a lot of uh mining of sand to uh to get that to get that glass so that’s one of the issues another thing is you see the Redstone torches there those are um those used to be um alternating between regular torches and Redstone torches because I didn’t think

I needed the push power for the power rails in order to get my car um to and from the uh end of the bridge so I ended up replacing those uh regular torches with redstone torches and now um every one of them up to a certain point is a redstone torch pretty landscape

Here this is a I guess this is an Arctic region or at least it’s a a cold region mountains are covered with snow the lakes and bodies of water are frozen there’s a computer tower over to the right just passing by I haven’t done any mining in this

Area I just kind of crossed over it I’d like to kind of create a pathway through this Forest so if I want to take my horse through it I can that’ll come later on I think and then up ahead is one of the coolest places that I’ve found this is a

Sandy area uh that separates two biomes and there’s lava to the left too you can see this is a Sandy area it’s the biggest Sandy area I found and I’ve created a bit of a art piece down here it’s a tree with uh clouds so that’s

Kind of cool and then um what I decided to do was to mine all around it so that’s what I’ve done there and that’s why it’s so um depressed there that area and then up ahead is a Stairway down uh on the left here to a village that’s uh computer generated

And then you can barely see it here that stairway that dirt stairway I’m passing by it just now um if you look down you can see plants growing underneath the windows there underneath the glass uh cubes and the idea there was uh it’s a kind of experiment but I was thinking

Maybe to um create a situation where I could maybe swing uh because it takes so long to um you know to go this distance but yeah I don’t really think it’s going to work but anyway I I built a scaffold like a scaffolding uh unit underneath

The the bridge here and then I put up those plants and they’re finished now but yeah I wondered if that would maybe uh make it easier to to move from one place to another so we’re over the over the open ocean now and the timer shows 4

Minutes that’s a long time and I’m not going to I’m not going to take my finger off the uh forward key here because I want to get an accurate look at this Horizon another passageway off to my left yeah when I started building this over the over the water here I wasn’t

Really sure what I was doing you know I guess it’s that way for uh you know for most of what I do I don’t really know exactly what my plan is you know but then it turns into something kind of incredible so um I don’t know if it’s if it works for

Everybody you know when they’re playing this game but you know for me at least it works to kind of stick with something until I get sick and tired of it or until it turns into the biggest thing that I’ve ever built you know so this bridge is I think like

8,000 800 blocks long something like that um and it’s three Cobblestone uh wide and then there’s glass up until a certain point here and uh so I did the calcul what is that it’s like 8 time 8 * 3 is 24 so that’s that’s about 24,000 blocks that it took to make this

Bridge out of cobblestone That’s not including the single Cobblestone blocks on the right here that hold up the Redstone torches and then of course there’s CL panels which must be I don’t know a few thousand at least at this point so it’s a lot of blocks I uh I didn’t it didn’t

It wasn’t difficult to gather the blocks because I was you know uh making videos you know here on YouTube and when I’m you know when I’m playing and you guys are watching I it doesn’t feel like uh doesn’t feel like tedious you know what I mean it doesn’t feel boring to me so

Take a look uh down those stairs there’s a little structure down there at the very bottom we’re just passing it and I put a couple uh llamas in there and then to our left here uh we’re not going to see any of this right now but we’re not

Going to go into it but that’s a canyon on my left and I put a little a little house in there kind of a Mesa you know weblo style apartment and then down on her right is another Village and this place is a desert village it’s

Kind of cool I like it looks like a Morocco or something in North Africa I like it very much and then I put another walkway or a Stairway down on the left and that leads to a special underground area where I found railroad tracks and stuff and we still got glass

Here which is kind of kind of impressive how much glass did I create to make this this sometimes like when I’m making things I I sometimes don’t get tired but when I look at something after I’ve done it I feel tired and that’s a funny thing

Because I’m like how much time did I put into this you know but it’s I I would say it’s worth it I you know it’s something I can show you know to to the whole world and uh I’m proud of it you know and it’s it’s

Something to look at that’s for sure uh on my left here again is another Village and then on the right is a sort of water temple I don’t know what you call that exactly but it like goes into the water a little bit and we’re entering into a new biome

Now and I don’t know if this is Tiger what’s the name of this biome does anybody know I think it might be tiger um whatever the case it’s it’s a different kind of tree is that ACAA maybe could be yeah anyway it’s kind of pretty I like

It got a little bit more sand here so we I think we’re transitioning between biomes maybe another stairway down here and I did some mining down there I like to put stairways from time to time especially if I can see like a a village or a special uh hole in the earth you

Know and it looks like we still got glass here and also Redstone torches this is kind of incredible oh we ran out of glass here okay I’m not going to stop because I Am timing currently and our timer is at 9 minutes right now so we’ve been walking

For 9 minutes along this bridge I think right now my fastest mode of Transport is the horse so I think that uh this is a good time this is a good accurate time time is what I mean okay now we’ve entered into a new biome and I don’t know

There’s mushrooms down here so I can see that but I don’t know what this is called if this is tigga see it even looks like there’s two different biomes right here like right now I’m in one and then when we oh this looks like a this looks like a temperate

Uh sort of climate you know what I mean like uh what’s the what’s the latitude I don’t I don’t know but you know kind of like uh between the United States and Canada at that Latitude yeah boy those trees are nice looking I don’t know what kind of trees

Those are they could be squa or something I don’t know I haven’t harvested all the plant types in the game I put a bed right there maybe I should uh save it there I should make a checkpoint but I think I’m okay all right we’re at 10 minutes now

10 minutes 15 seconds we’ve been walking along this bridge and we still have a redstone torches but as you can see there’s no more power rails so I am going to I brought a couple one or two sets of power rails um I can’t open my inventory right

Now because I want to keep walking for this time that I’m taking but um yeah I’ve got a couple sets of power rails I think we’re still going it looks like I don’t know how much longer I made this thing I feel like a visitor in my own

World oh looks like the end of the track okay so that’s the end of the track oh yeah yeah yeah that’s right I collaborated with somebody for a little while um nice nice dude who I met and he helped me to make that uh structure down

There so that’s what that is and then this is the end and we have a crafting table here and let’s get the time the time is stop time is ah I got to log back in time is 11 minutes 30 seconds holy moly that’s an 11 minute 30 second walk

By horse that is a long walk okay um I think what I’m going to do here I didn’t have any definite plans apart from creating a longer uh Bridge so what I’m going to do is I’m going to tie up my horse and so let’s switch perspectives

Here and I want to use third person perspective uh especially for you guys who are watching but um it’s just a lot easier to um to use this perspective the first person so I’m gonna have to do that let’s go and put our horse down here I think I’ll put him

Think I’ll put them right here that’s fine okay grab you put you right there all right we got our horse tied up unfortunately he doesn’t get attacked okay um the first thing I’m going to do I wanted to bring more material but it’s not practical because you have to kind

Of follow the speed of the of the um mine cart so I decided not to bring extra material so we’re going to see how much further we can extend this and I’m going to do it just like this can I I’m still having some challenges uh there’s a way to

Automate the like this like that ah see I lost it okay let’s try again it’s like you have to catch if you guys have played the game you know what I’m talking about but you have to kind of catch the let me try one more time there there

There good yeah see it’s not catchy oh no got it got it got it that’s it that’s it yeah nicely done okay so we can use up these blocks here that’s the way to do it because if you do it that way it’s so much easier than

Um than the alternative which is placing the blocks one by one you know okay let’s do this again right here and got it got it got it got it nicely done cool so that’s so much easier than one by one you know okay gotta keep an eye on how many blocks I have

Think I’m self-conscious or something I used to perform music a lot um I used to study music and then I kind of entered into that field of teaching and Performing oopsies that’s what I was afraid of um but yeah I haven’t I haven’t performed for a long time in

Music so I think maybe I lost my nerve a little bit to speak up I don’t know if you guys feel that way too when you um when you do commentary in videos or when you do a presentation at work or at school or whatever but I know I feel

That way and stop got it this always uh kind of stir my nerves a little bit you know what I mean cuz if you fall you can either die or you fall into the water and either way it’s uh you got to either climb back up or start over at

The last checkpoint so I don’t want that to happen okay I think I caught it yeah got it look at that beautiful boy I love this mechanic in uh in Minecraft if they didn’t have this imagine how you know difficult it would be right to yeah to

Um extend something in such a way like this over the over the air I mean okay well that’s kind of good looking over there I’m glad uh I’m glad my friend helped me with that that was nice to to work with him for a little

While and we’re going to go here and it looks like we’ve got a nice uh new section to this Skyway so yeah the idea of this Skyway is uh unknown um sometimes I’ve been asked what are you uh what are you planning or what’s the purpose of this or that and

Uh I don’t really know sometimes what I’m planning ultimately just to kind of keep building kind of like uh an extension of my imagination I guess so there’s no definite plan here it’s just kind of go until I don’t want to go anymore and maybe maybe there will be an

End point but yeah but right now you can see the the coordinates 175 107 936 that’s quite a ways I think my base is at close to zero on the last coordinate so yeah kind of crazy okay I’m going to use up these blocks here I

Looks like we’re at a new body of water here and I think I might have actually um explored this Hillside here I think I did a little exploration I don’t see any torches here um but this is actually we should look around are there any Villages or

Anything yeah cuz we’re getting real far from this is the farthest actually from home that I think I’ve been now okay let’s go ahead and let’s even out the uh the pathway and then we’ll take inventory of how many uh how many cobblestones we have uh there we go got it

Okay yeah so what can I tell you here about like my plans I I uh I’m kind of hoping to create like I want to work on this world for as long as possible I don’t want to um I don’t want to stop if possible so I want to if if

Possible I’d like to go for years but I don’t know if that’s uh if that’s going to happen or not it kind of depends on if I can maintain uh viewers on the channel here but yeah i’ I’ve really I I can’t believe this is uh this has been

Something that I can do you know very very fortunate all right let’s go ahead and extend this we’re going to go ahead and even this out and then we’re going to add maybe some track cuz uh the track goes almost all the way to here as well okay and stop it

There should we get rid of these cobblestones why don’t we do that just kind of exhaust our current uh Supply and there we go okay nicely done um maybe I’ll add oh you know what I forgot gosh this has been a problem this is like one of those little things that

Um if you play Minecraft you probably know about but um let me kind of show you what I’m talking about let me resupply myself um every five blocks or every I space these out by five blocks these uh little nodules here what do you call them like

Little bumps coming out from the side of the of the sky Bridge right here as you can see so there’s five in between one two three three four five and the problem is it’s hard to count one two three four five here so it would it’s

Much easier one two three four five here it’s much easier if you do it while you’re constructing um the the bridge you know what I mean so one two three four five here it’s really hard to see is what I’m trying to say so that makes it really

Difficult one two three four five here I don’t usually do it like this one two three four five and you can see why CU here I have to double check one two three four five yeah cuz I I’m kind of I guess you could say I’m a little

Obsessive when it comes to building my stuff so I like to make sure that things are done correctly you know what I mean so maybe one two three four five here so this is like the one part of my life where I can do everything exactly how I

Want to you know one two three four five and here so I don’t know if you’ve uh watched me before but one two three four five and here but yeah this is kind of my uh my mindset sometimes when I’m doing things I like to I’m a bit of a

Perfectionist one two three four five here that’s it one two three three four five here um if you’re wondering why I hit the blocks one two three four five here it’s because um it allows me to see the difference between the blocks so you can more easily tell which block you’re

On one two three four five here and got it and one two three four five here oh one two three four five here gosh kind of makes me nuts one two three four five and here I like the the the accuracy but I don’t like the work sometimes one two

Three four five here you know what I mean like I love like I love how oh my gosh I hate that sunlight like it just suddenly turns on like a like a a light you know in a kitchen or bedroom like it just comes on all of a sudden one two

Three four five here I don’t like that but um yeah like I love the accuracy I love the appearance two three four five here but what I hate is the actual creation of it sometimes I don’t want to say I hate it but I it’s can be really

Boring sometimes one two three four five here so that’s kind of funny one two three four five and here nice and one two three four five and here yeah I don’t think there’s anything wrong with feeling bored two three four five in here so I try to um not do this too

Often two three four five in here and like I said I made a mistake here by not doing this originally three four five and here it’s amazing how much brain power this takes two three four five and here and one two three four five and here I’m not going to make the same

Observe what I’m seeing you know looks like um nothing like no you know what I mean no Village or anything it’s a nice view if you’re just joining me that’s my uh structure over there I had a friend help me make that it’s really uh really nice of him to help me and

And we’ve got some also we put some uh stuff down here like uh crafting table and chests and stuff like that so and then there’s also a nice walkway out to that building you can see it there so right now I’m going to leave that building I kind of like it the way

It is but um in the future I might work on it okay um question is what do I lay first maybe I’ll start with the track I think we can do that and I didn’t look to see for sure if the track was laid um all the way across

Sometimes I take out a section of the track in order to stop a cart you know and then I forget to replace it and so that’s kind of what I’m thinking about right now if you’re listening uh I was saying before like uh I was um I I can be a little

Obsessive in this game it’s the one area of my life where I really allow myself to kind of do you know whatever I want you know what I mean usually I’m not such a perfectionist but um so yeah I kind of sometimes I feel like I’m a

Little bit obsessive on uh the issue of getting blocks in the right place and stuff like that okay we’re going to just go ahead and run along here you know what I found is that you can actually uh ride in a cart and you can also lay track simultaneously which is kind of

Cool to do I did that one time okay this is uh the second set of tracks and it’s the last one that I got that I’ve got so this is the this is the limit right now right here that’s the end of the line I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to

Just leave it like that I’m not going to worry about um I’m not going to worry about uh putting a block at the end sometimes it’s a good idea to stop your cart but I think that’s going to be fine fine um and then I don’t know how far

Back I have to go here maybe I should have taken the horse but I’m going to check to see if if I can place some Redstone torches which are wow I’ve got 63 that’s plenty but I’m going to wait till I see the last one maybe I should have

Taken the horse the problem is when you take the horse with you um sometimes you can lose it because unless you keep it on a leash um yeah so there’s a whole bunch of technical problems that I have I have to work out okay looks like those are

Redstone up ahead yeah that’s right okay so we’re going to start our new Redstone here and then one other thing is let me get out my power rail I got 60 power rails and these things are what make the cart go forward so I’m going to head as

Far back as I can or as I need to rather to find the old Power power rail little fox up here with me where’s the last power rail I got plenty of redstone torches but no no power rail um let’s see I’m sure a lot of you

Guys who are watching know this but uh the jumping technique makes you go faster by a certain percentage so that’s why I do that I only do this when I’m trying to get someplace real quickly gosh where’s the last power rail this is like way back

Here my goodness I need to bring in a lot more power rail that’s oh I found it that’s the challenge too of um building such a long system is that um it just takes a lot of material okay so what we’re going to do now is we’re going to

Switch to our power Rail and then we’re going to start laying it down and as you can see when I lay it down you can see it right here so I break up this track I’ll put it down and it will be you see how it turns on like that

That’s because the redstone torch is uh situated next to it you can put it under or adjacent to and in either case it will activate the power of the power rail so that’s why that those Redstone torches are there and you can see they’re Redstone cuz they’re of course

Red as compared to the regular torches which are more of a yellow gold color okay so we’re just going to do this other boring thing I try not to do this too often I today I was kind of in the mood it’s um it’s a Friday for me here in Japan and

Um I can I can do this today uh some days I can’t you know I can’t take it you know what I mean but uh today I can do it you got to be in the mood for this kind of work you know what I mean all right so if if you got

In the minecart um I don’t know how long it would take to get out to here um again the coordinates are 8 negative what is itative 8200 8,255 right now um and my base starts at about zero um maybe about 500 negative 500 or so I can’t remember the exact

Coordinates but that means that we’re more than 8,000 you know like the end of the track is more than 8,000 blocks from home uh so if you take the cart uh it takes a long time uh the cart is slower than the horse and I think um running and jumping the running

Jumping technique that I was just doing I think that is also fast it could be a little bit slower maybe than the cart if I put uh power rails like this I’m not really sure actually but um it took what was it again 11 minutes or

Something by uh by horse yeah it took about 11 minutes so okay now we are looking at no uh Redstone torches so what I’m going to do I don’t really like to switch should I switch maybe I will it’s kind of annoying but okay you know

What I’m going to do is I’m going to place this here and yeah that oh look I have more track right there I didn’t realize I didn’t realize I had more okay let’s go ahead and um so what we’re going to do is mouse wheel down Mouse

Wheel up Mouse wheel down Mouse wheel up okay got it okay so we’ll start with this mouse wheel down Mouse wheel up nope Mouse wheel down we’ll start with the power rail Mouse wheel up got it yeah I have to tell myself Which Way El wheel down got

It and mouse will up nice it’s working and mouse down got it and mouse wheel up and mouse wheel down how do you guys feel about this kind of stuff it’s relaxing that’s for sure if you if you’re looking for a if you’re looking for a sleepy time video

This is the one for you right now I only have 16 power rail left so that’s not going to be a problem okay I finally got the hang of this um Mouse wheel down Mouse wheel up thing that I’m doing nicely done okay boy this is uh this is some track

Here so right now we have it going all the way to my new house at the end of the rail almost all the way rather it’s starting to rain imagine if this were real life this guy would be tired all right wow um I don’t know if Minecraft like did an update or

Something but the lighting has gotten a little bit darker in my opinion you know it’s harder to see things uh now than it was before in the distance I mean before I feel like I could see farther maybe it’s just me I don’t know wonder what

You guys think about it but yeah the it seems like a recent update maybe or maybe uh yeah something like that makes it harder to see for some reason because I’ve been struggling to see into the distance okay we only got four more left

After I do this I’m going to go back to um setting up a longer Bridge with uh more Cobblestone this isn’t so bad cuz I only brought 64 of these I’m trying to be patient with myself in this uh oh cool we reached the end here

And that’s the last power rail okay and we’ve got some more rail here I’m going to go ahead and lay that down yeah I have to really be patient with myself in this game because if you want to do like a big project like this for example it

Takes such a long time you know so you really have to be like kind of kind to yourself you know don’t push yourself too hard and all that okay so it’s kind of a it’s kind of taught me something about myself you know what I mean I don’t know if you

Guys feel that way too oh there’s my horse down there okay and do we have we do have more Redstone torches so I think what I’m going to do now um should I grab my horse is another question see you know what I think I think I will

Because I think this bridge goes on a long ways it’s getting to the point now with this skybridge that it’s like really tedious to build it so I don’t know um if I’ll be doing many more videos on building the sky Bridge cuz I don’t know how interesting it is maybe I

Could do a relaxing video or something but yeah I feel like this is something that uh can be done off video all right now we got our horse see see how much faster this is than than just walking so we’re going to use our horse and we’re going to lay the

Rest of our Redstone torches good good got to be careful okay and then I think what I’m going to do is I’m going to tie my horse up got to be careful the horse is a little little harder to control than when you’re walking um I think what I’m going to do

After I set these Redstone torches is to tie up my horse at the end of the bridge and then I’m going to continue the Cobblestone growth we ran out of um Regular torches now eventually these are all going to be uh Redstone torches but for right now they are alternating between regular and

Redstone okay like the sound of the horse exhaling okay and almost there nice okay should we um you know what why don’t I go ahead and lay some regular torches too can I get the angle correct here yeah that’s okay nice beautiful not so hard as I thought it might

Be okay so we’re gonna head back here we’re going to lay these and then we’re going to head back to the end I kind of was hoping to um build another uh staircase down because um I like to explore new areas you know and I don’t

Want to I don’t want to just come out here and build the extension of the bridge I want to want to explore you know so I’m hoping that I can um um we reached the end here well done wow look at how far this bridge goes and the power rails

Stop back there somewhere but um that’s okay anything in this chest no nothing okay you know what I’m thinking is there may be something down in that area for need to grab so let’s go down and see okay right down here let’s see if there’s anything tied up some animals

Here there are two wolves and a cow and a fox here too um oh yeah see there is stuff here oh no I guess I’m going to grab it you know nice uh plant life here too I’m going to grab that stuff I guess I’m going to take it one by

One um anything here maybe I’ll grab that wood and I guess that’s it that’s all I want for now and are there any more chests doesn’t look like it um should I save the game here I don’t know about that I’m G to do it that is too far

Oopsies okay uh I guess we slept through the night or did we no we didn’t okay okay um I got to go back with my I do don’t go in the water okay um we are going to head back up to the skybridge and then I’m going to wow look at

That look at that that’s kind of pretty isn’t it okay what I’m going to do is I’m going to um continue working on the extension should we go and see this place first again shout out to my friend helped me to make this that was nice of

Him I made it so this is how far we got on this um it’s kind of far away from my base so I haven’t really worked on it much but I might come back to it um if I find a faster way to get to like I said

Um sometimes I’m in the mood for coming out this far but not not it’s not an everyday thing so okay I’m going to head back up to the top of the scavage and do I have a I do oh thank goodness I have a fence

Post here so I can place that down for the horse and any more track no no more track so I think what I’m going to do is I’m going to tie up my horse all the way down here and I got to be careful not to

Push him off the bridge because I don’t want him to die either not to mention myself okay Let’s uh boy I did a pretty good job here okay let’s get off my horse let’s tie you up right here gotcha gotcha no oh oh oh oh where did the

Leash go oh no I hate it when I do that oh it’s right there okay gosh okay right there and then right there I almost thought I lost the leash for a second there that would have been bad Okay and like I said I kind of wanted to I only have a few

Cool this is like a perfect place to come down right because you know it’s uh it’s already close to the ground so what I’m going to do is I’m going to I don’t want to cut trees here very much so looks like what I’m going to do is

Reasons they left was because I was so far oh look another gold Block it’s really far out here like this distance is you know at least for me it’s I don’t know about your guys’s games like how far you travel you know but for me this

Is a real distance so feels like I’m traveling across the United States or something you ah okay and got it nice I love it I love these um these blocks I don’t have a lot of so that’s a good thing to have um let’s go ahead and take

Nether rack here is such a strange color in in my mind anyway um it’s got a kind of beauty to it but it’s also really I find it to be very difficult to color coordinate yeah you know what I just realized is that um the dirt here this

Dirt right here I believe that’s a coarse dirt let me check it no it’s not it’s just dirt I thought it was a CO dirt you know special kind of dirt apparently it’s not you know we might find something special here if we keep mining we might come across something

Probably look that up because sometimes I like to leave things sitting for a little bit before I pick them up um but if you do that for too long of course you run the risk of losing it so don’t want to do that look at all this Netherrack what’s

The point of this stuff I don’t I don’t know that you can do anything you know what one thing you can do with it I did learn um you can set it on fire and I’ve done that on the top of my entryway at my base um you can set this stuff on

Fire which is kind of cool actually um but yeah besides that I don’t know that Netherrack has an actual purpose you know besides uh Building Material wow this really goes deep doesn’t it it’s kind of like set into the stone almost okay let’s we’ll come back to that other

Area a lot of magma blocks that’s for sure cool that doesn’t go too deep oh this one might yeah I’m going to have to dig my way out okay lost another pick and I think it was smart to bring um I think it’s I’ve learned recently to save

Room in your inventory you can bring uh Cobblestone and uh sticks for Cobblestone or uh sticks and um and um Iron depending on what kind of pcks you want and that way you can save yourself a lot of space in your inventory that’s been working pretty well for me Tech

Nice look at all this I don’t think I’ll be able to carry all this you know let’s just pick up as much as we can look at all this good doesn’t go down I hate it when I have to climb out there we go and good very good that worked out

Problem all right I’m going to head back to the Sky bridge and then maybe we can kind of follow it along I realized too with the horse you can hold space bar to um oh here we are we made it to um charge up his jump as

Is I’m going to grab some uh Cobble deep Sate let’s grab two of those and we’re going to grab Cobblestone this one will’ll need some of and actually I’ll probably need more than that and then of course andesite we’re going to need polished andesite and we have some right here beautiful

Okay um why don’t I polish up that actually I don’t want to take too much but um let’s go ahead and polish up that and a site right there and Polish Polish Polish Polish Polish Polish Polish isn’t that kind of funny like I’ve often thought this that the word

Polish and the word polish as in Polish people polish culture Polish language we’re supposed to spell this same sometimes I’ve thought about that um it’s funny English language is so so odd sometimes okay uh we can get rid of uh torch and actually these need to go in

One more layer up here this has become somewhat enjoyable actually doing these uh turrets turrets are uh they’re Towers basically along often along walls and in uh like Medieval Europe uh say like England and stuff they used to have turrets on their castles so in case

You’re wondering what what a turret is I looked it up too just to make sure I knew what it was um I went to written one time and we saw I saw turrets there my family okay here we are nice that’s it okay that’s three and a now one diate

We’re only doing one this time before it was two now it’s one here here here hate it hate it when I do that okay actually this is fine to do it from here you got you all right and let’s get back up I like to do things differently every time I do them

You know what I mean like I don’t like to do things the same way more than more than once you know so sometimes you’ll see me doing things in a funny way that’s because I’m trying to kind of keep myself you know keep my mind occupied kind of thing okay

Beautifully done that’s correct that’s one uh layer of diorite and now we got three and sites again looks like we’re going to be able to finish one Tower here I thought maybe we’d be able to do two maybe we can but actually this material is more uh more

Difficult than I thought to to obtain this is three andesites I believe we’re trying to match the height of that Tower over there that’s exactly what we’re doing so and also I’m matching the style I I am kind of a a stickler for um for matching style but sometimes uh

Like a lot of my buildings are just so unique like that building there is completely different say than this building here a pyramid so I don’t have to worry about uniformity you know but when I’m doing you know the same thing multiple times then oopsies then uniformity becomes a real uh real

Important aspect of the building process so let’s get this blocked down okay Sunset is weird isn’t it or nighttime it’s kind of like they’ve changed the shading on the blocks which is kind of weird okay and we need one more block of and aite right

Here and up up up and up okay and we are now gosh I can’t remember okay so let’s start here this is the first yeah so we got three okay so we just got two two rather two two andesite two diorite okay we’ll move up I’m just

Counting here okay and then we got three andesite then we got one diorite okay good and then we’ve got three and aite now we need one diorite again and I don’t know yeah then after that it’s one more so it actually these things tend to go pretty high I didn’t realize that

These towers were as tall as they are these turrets here do you guys feel relaxed when you watch this cuz I sure feel I feel relaxed uh playing it I’ve got the heater on to it’s cold here in Japan it’s been close to freezing actually here uh near Tokyo

Roof yeah so I’m afraid that might be something I need to check on let’s see it looks good to me we’re going to go down below and check it out too but I think this oop trying to get over here there we go um lanterns is what I’m

Using um I think this one is well done let’s goad and put it in the same place we did this yesterday too I remember this nice okay and then one more put that one same place um oh there’s one more floor wow this is pretty tall building we’ll put

And we have a nice exit just a bear and we are going to the only issue I have with these turrets is yeah I understand okay I see what I was thinking here sometimes I have to remember what I was thinking cuz I forget my own plan you know what I mean

I see I think what I was doing here and I think what I was doing was to extend the black line here this is a uh cobbled deep slate we are going to go ahead and insert this right here and that is that is much better now because we

Have the uniformity of yes I like it I like it a lot yeah this snow really bugs me yeah look at that boy that looks good though it actually does look good looks really good I got to take a stretch here I uh excuse me I um I sit on an exercise bike

While I’m playing this game so I do get exercise but uh my my upper body gets real real tense you know from the same uh position so sometimes I got to stretch you know what I mean and let’s go back uh this I really don’t want to

Do this right now to be honest but I’m going to do it because I feel like I’m going to forget um I don’t like this kind of thing but I’m going to go over here and check my other turret because I think I made a mistake I tried

To extend the roof um the very very uh highest uh roof you know well I guess that is the roof the roof I tried to extend it by one oh yes I think I see it now check this out look I see my my error can I

Jump it yeah I did it that right there see I knew it I knew it I’m a stickler got to have it the right way okay there fix this now my nose itches got to itch my nose stretch my back and go and correct my error why

Don’t we um take this route right here uh that’s something I forgot too on that Tower I just built is this um doorway in or did did I forget it I think I did this this doorway and this one I built two um into the walls so let’s go ahead

And fix this problem first and then we’re gonna check the other Tower the real challenge of uniformity um as you can imagine is making sure that you are consistent you know what I mean cuz if You I don’t know if I can survive that fall um why don’t we jump into the water I feel safer yeah right here we um the real issue with uniformity is that you have to be consistent you know so yeah I do like things to be you know regular

Um as you can see here it’s now one one block one block let’s check this side one block good and then we check the other side and that is one block good it is good and these ones I didn’t see a problem with them I just noticed that when I was walking

Back to my base the uh yesterday sometimes in case you’re wondering sometimes I do play the game outside of uh the videos because I sometimes like to prepare for you guys the uh the viewers the audience uh and like if something’s really dull like if

On the next turret boy that does look good though it’s kind of modern and kind of um medieval too I love the line the Deep slate Cobblestone uh continuing around the turret makes it look like part of the wall you know um I also love

The material at the top here or you know at the above the base you know what I mean um it’s got a kind of modern look to it which I also like so I feel like maybe this is partly Japanese inspired because like uh like Japan my

Architecture is a mixture of the ancient and the modern that’s what they all say about Japan it’s a mixture of of old and new okay here we have uh here we have a problem because H man look if I’m being really Orthodox about this like if I’m really

Being you know strict about it right then this is not done correctly this wall what a pain I’ll I’ll explain it as best I can like um this the the tower is supposed to be on the outside of the wall but I built it on the inside of the

Wall do you see what I’m saying so the problem here is that the wall now doesn’t follow the Contour or rather the tower doesn’t follow the Contour of the wall the wall follows follows the the Contour of of the tower almost it like goes into the

Tower so what I have to do if I want to be consistent and the thing is I I really don’t want to do this H I’m going to do it though cuz I’m cuz I’m a crazy Minecrafter here we go um I am going to go ahead and eliminate

This turn off my heater in here too it’s pretty warm and I’m going to do I have the Cobble yeah I have got plenty of cobblestone so that’s good at least at least I don’t have an excess in my inventory I hate it when that happens uh

We are going to is this is this going to be correct right I hope wrong wrong move here one concern I have is that I’m going to run out of pickaxe that happened to me uh recently in the same area and I’m far enough away from my entrance that it becomes a bit

Of a an annoyance I would say um this is going to need to come out this is annoying too if you don’t have a um an axe it’s takes some time to do the wood you know okay but we’re going to do this the right way it’s the right way or it’s the

Highway it’s my world I suppose that’s something that makes it difficult for me to play with others too is that my uh my rules are rather rather rigid you know what I mean so sometimes I think it can be quite difficult for other players to join me

For that reason you know but um I don’t know I’m not going to judge myself not going to judge anybody either if uh if that’s hard for them to follow these rules I do want to collaborate with somebody though cuz it can be a little

Dull but I’m glad um glad I can talk to you guys at least that’s nice to um connect in this way Okay and let’s go ahead and take care of this so what I’m doing I don’t know if you you um can tell kind of by what I’m up to but um but I’m taking away the mistake that I made I kind of messed up the the shape of this tower now it

Following a particular pattern of uh blocks here so because I want the ah falling down I want the uh these are turrets so they’re like Lookout Towers is basically what they are and I want the turrets to be uniform so that is why I am choosing a regular pattern that’s

The idea here okay we got our three andesites now we got one diorite um but first we need one more andesite and we need to finish up this section of the ladder perfect and now we’ve got one uh row of this uh diorite I think we’re going to be able to finish

It I sure hope so nice look at that that’s a nice Stone I like that sort of uh blemished White I love it I think it’s uh great great texture some of the stones not so much I don’t like um I don’t like it when it’s like I don’t know to like I

Don’t know like two one one thing you know what I mean like I I like a mixture of of the texture and the colors on the stone like this stone is just yeah it’s almost perfect I like calite that’s got a nice uh texture to it I like polished

Dire uh polished deep slate Cobblestone those are some of my favorite okay I’m forgetting what I’m doing here three andesites I believe we are now back on andesite looks like it stops snowing and are we going to be able to complete this that’s my question I believe we’re correct to put

Another layer but let’s double check it um and maybe while I do this oh you know what I’m going to put a ladder to make it easier um I believe I’m correct here so we’re going to double check this let’s head all the way down and while I do this I’ll put up

Lanterns right there that’s fine okay okay so now we are looking at so the pattern is two andesites that’s correct two diorites that’s what we have here okay now next is uh let’s get rid of the snow now that it’s covered up so we got two and two and the next

One is three andesites that’s what this is one two three great and then one diorite great and then next up should be three andesites again and we are seeing one two three that is three and then we have one diate and so we are looking for yes this is the last layer

Sometimes it the reason I’m counting like this is because sometimes it feels like I’m going too high with these turrets uh but in fact uh it’s not too high it’s perfect so I just like to double check though I don’t trust my observations sometimes because I am a human

Being and so I’m often uh I often misinterpret things with my senses you know but to double check is good because then I know I’m I know I’m not making a mistake you know what I mean all right this is the last hopefully oh you know what I’m

Afraid I’m going to be running out here yeah I don’t think I’m going to make it um I can do this the the um can do the floor oh no three more one two three that’s it oh no we got a big hole here man come on

Really love to perform but I like to I like to use my voice and I’m not a singer I was a clarinetist and a saxophonist and so I of course was blowing air through an instrument but I wasn’t using my vocal cords to speak you know which um which I didn’t like I

Wanted to speak or communicate somehow using my my voice you know and so that’s what I’m doing now and I uh I love it I love talking and I love being heard and I love I love encouraging people motivating people through my words and through my Creations in games like this

Minecraft is kind of perfect for that you know purpose you know this is a new bridge kind of wanted to come up here just walk around on it a little bit sometimes when I’m not playing the game game I just walk around just because I love uh seeing what what I created all

About 8,500 blocks long it’s uh it is uh it stretches all the way from my base to uh throughout uh through various biomes so it’s kind of like a it’s kind of like a a a path into eternity I like to think it’s kind of poetic I guess um yeah this Redstone

Dust didn’t get snow on it which is good um because I was testing to see if it accumulates snow check this out this is my snow house I love this place let’s go this way um so anyway the skybridge we’re going to go see it right now nice

Campfire is um 8500 blocks long from here and it stretches in into eternity I like to think it goes by all these mountains it has various uh you can see there’s a stairway right here that goes down to this Village to the to the left here um and yeah I’m I’m putting glass

Here I got Redstone torches with a um Power Rail and then of course regular Rail and it’s four wide um and it’s yeah I don’t know how long it’ll go maybe maybe my goal is like 10,000 blocks or something like this check this out this is crazy this thing falls down into here

It’s kind of an infinity pool you guys ever seen those infinity pools at fancy hotels or whatever uh on movies never been to one but yeah that’s what this is and yeah I’m not going to jump off it right now but I think it’s kind of neat

And then um oh yeah the other thing I did today besides work on that skybridge was the trets the turrets are um let’s go look at them actually this might be a nice view let’s take a look okay so right here this is one turret here one turret here one turret here it’s
