Insane Minecraft Challenge: Surviving 100 Days on One Block!

In this video I’m going to attempt to survive 100 days on one block in Hardcore Minecraft this one single block regenerates every time it is broken and can even summon hostile monsters or friendly mobs will I be able to expand my one block without dying well time to

Find out well this is an interesting place to find ourselves we’re stuck on a one block in the middle of the sky and there’s not a lot to do it’s not like we can go anywhere we’re kind of we’re kind of stranded if you can read below me the

First thing it tells me to do is break the block below me so I think we’re going to listen to that so let’s go ahead and break this some dirt blocks is is an infinite block it spawns More Than Dirt okay okay good I mean that’s a good thing blocks

Going to do so we’ve crafted some Oak planks and we’re going to you know just to be extra safe here cuz we are on one block in literal the middle of the sky we’re going to go ahead and uh you know extend there a dirt block again lots of

Let’s go ahead and make a crafting bench real quick and while we do that we’re going to place that down just in case we need it actually you know what I’m going to make some sticks and the oak planks I’m going to make myself a quick wooden

Axe so therefore any wood I can just really chop it down even quicker you know but let’s keep going um oh another chest what does this say save your items in chests ooh okay oh it give us a chest so every chest we break do we get to

Keep it then oh that’s so cool all right well let’s just uh store that in there for now all the stuff we don’t need and keep this oh wait what does it say I’m think I’m blocking it hang on let me just get rid of this real quick so if I

Turn this into more Oak planks and you know quickly just extend out a little bit there we go then we place the two chests there that’s perfect if you fall your items are gone oh no we don’t want to fall because we’ll die it’s Hardcore Minecraft more dirt more Oak planks I

Mean not Oak planks logs what am I talking about more dirt not good not good actually I suppose we could use it blocks like gravel fall down oh so we have to be careful then so let’s not stand on the block all that makes sense place a block

All of this dirt this will help with our saplings so do you know what we’re going to extend out here for now and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to place a dirt block here a dirt block there and then hang on let’s just build

More out real quick all right so we’re going to place another one here and here and we’re going to place our Oak saplings on top so we got a little tree farm going on there that’s cool right so let’s just quickly get rid of this right

Yeah that’s cool and then I feel like maybe we should you know extend one more block out here where are you going stop following me get get in your pen in your make believe pen anyway cuz this isn’t even this isn’t even like a proper pen but whatever right let me place this

Down here all right this looks pretty good right we’re getting there you can see the progress is already being made well let’s just continue breaking these blocks I guess ooh more wood that’s what we like to see more grass I bet this is going to be really scary of night time

I’m just thinking of the Phantoms though are they going to come and literally like sabotage me because in my last video they just they wouldn’t leave me alone they kept torturing me and oh there was such a nightmare but let’s hope we don’t get many of those ooh we

Here right and then we’re going to place more dirt blocks and then we’re going to go ahead and stick this Birch sapling on top and then let’s actually get rid of this real quick all at that there we go oh look at that look how cool that is

Well that was satisfying so we got six oak logs from that so let’s go ahead and turn them all into Oak planks and then let’s place the sapling back oh look we’ve got quite a few from that I think we got to space them out a bit more

Though you know what just to be on the safe side of things I’m going to make it two blocks apart yeah I think that’s what I’m going to do so let me get rid of all of these and then let me place like that right and then these ones on

The end like so and then they should grow better now right well let’s put that on there for now um so we got a little sustainable tree farm and let’s get rid of this chest and see what else we get just more dirt of course what

Else would we have got oh we got a sheep I spoke too soon oh no this is going to turn into like a little Zoo up here I’m going to have to you know I’m going to need a um a little pen actually so I

Stack and a bit of that now oh and another chest so let’s get more oh let’s just break this for now that’s really really annoying me and let’s place this on the corner and then when we got enough wood we can just um extend out and put more chests there you get the

Pumpkin and melon though haven’t we and Clay we’ got 45 melon slices and of course we have another sheep wao what’s going on oh okay I was about to say that was that was really strange so let’s chop this down then normally the tree should fall I don’t

Know why it isn’t we could have done with the oak tree growing but whatever there we go maybe it just doesn’t work like that for birch trees all right well let’s Place Another oak sapling there for now then hello Mr sheep just don’t mind me I’m just going

To push you over here give us more oak logs come on I thought you’re supposed to give us a lot we don’t need all this grass right H some more Birchwood seriously we need Oak give us Oak there we go that’s what we like to see and another cow I nearly just fell

Off the edge there that was close but luckily I got my trusty water source here where are you going look at him looking at the view what do you think you’re doing up here huh who told you you was allowed on my oak sapling well I guess let’s turn these birch logs into

Birch planks and get placing them in the chest but we need to extend our farm whatever this is going on here but we need to organize them later on as well you know put sheep in one pigs in the other cows in the other chickens Etc so

Right let’s go ahead and turn these into Oak planks then then using the oak planks let’s just extend this I guess more Oak o logs yes give us more oak logs not more clay do we need this much clay I don’t think we do yay there we go that’s what we like

To see right so let’s turn this let’s turn these two into more planks then um and extend this yeah you know what let’s just build that out there right two more chests that’s if they line up perfectly and form a whole chest and not just two

Separate ones I think we need to uh split up a little bit there we go and let’s put the crafting bench in this little space between the chests Oh I thought it disappeared there for a second all right there we go you like that Mr sheep or Mrs

Sheep more oak logs let’s go let’s keep getting these not another sheep come on now the sounds are getting really annoying well I didn’t mean to do that did I all right let’s break this Oak plank let’s look in the chest o two pieces of leather okay some wheat seeds

More Oak ones as well do you know what let’s quickly extend our tree farm out a little bit more right and then plant this over here right then place oh place these two on here have I got any more Oak saplings I don’t think I have have I no right and

Then I’m going to plant all my wooden stuff in one chest okay so this going be dirt and rubbish cuz you know and then in this one I can put all my wooden stuff in here so I know where everything is this one I suppose be like my

Cobblestone chest oh no we need that and put it in this one wao look at that triple there we go that’s what we like to see let’s mine this ah it’s connected that’s why I was wondering why it didn’t fall oh look another one has grown so

Maybe if we just chop this down like here no will it not work like that do I have to chop all the all the oak logs off I think if I chop this wood oh no let’s go ahead and make ourselves a another one real quick just like that

There we go and then let’s quickly chop this one down and then all the saplings and the uh and the leavf should fall right there we go yeah oh no a lot of them fell off the edge oh that’s fine it’s not a big deal let’s go a and

Collect that though let’s replace them real quick oh look at them growing now that’s what we like to see we’re getting more oak logs more Oak planks let’s go how about we start extending and putting it out you know maybe a few blocks more outwards you

Know just so we got more room yeah let’s do that actually just like that yep all right that looks pretty good to me and then let’s have we got any more coal yeah we have let’s make some torches there we go four torches and then let’s just place

These like over here the last thing we want is any hostile monsters spawning in and you know literally ruining us let’s place these torches over here and let’s place them on my farm like that that looks pretty cool all right right um let’s get back breaking I guess actually

You know what like that let’s do it again just one more outwards and I think this is going to be the size of our tree farm there we go just enough all right let’s place this one here oh there and there and let’s place our saplings on top and that’s our Oak one

Done so we got a lot of trees gr there for us let’s actually get rid of them oh know guys stop crying don’t worry it’s going to get better I’m going to make you a much better pen right and then let’s mine this last tree here and then we should get a pretty

Good drop from this there we go come on yay come to me saplings oh and a stick there we go so then let’s craft let’s turn all these into planks so we got 48 planks we need to eat now don’t we let’s eat a chicken there we go that is much

Better oh and look at that the moon’s just about to come out and then the sun’s going down that’s how the world Works let’s extend this out a bit more cuz why not I mean I’m probably wasting wood at this point but anything to make the uh anything to make the one block

Back a little bit that’ll teach me for going too close right we need to be very careful I’m going to collect our stuff in certain Bits yep I knew that would happen more zombies stay away stay back there we go let’s take our food out of this one and put it into this one put the egg in there as well feathers let’s turn these birch logs into planks and then put them in our wood chest like

That right there we go oh same with these two let me just quickly turn these into planks and then have we got any more seeds I mean we got pumpkin seeds but we don’t really you know we’re going to take this potato and we’re going to plant it here

And then we’re going to make a little wheat and potato farm and then maybe even add some like I don’t know we can add something else on the farm as well let’s remember to stay back because you know we’ve already learned that mobs can literally spawn out of literal nowhere

Oh some iron let’s go how many though oh only one oh I just realized we got three didn’t even notice that let’s put that in here for now let’s make more of those oh I know what we’re going to do with the Birch with the birch wood we’re

Going to turn them into planks and Chuck them in there so we can cook some stuff of them and another chest some brown mushrooms feathers and sprew saplings let’s go ahead and put all of our saplings in here for now and then in this one let’s put some more Cobble

Pretty well so far so so how about then we craft ourselves a little Stone Axe and then let’s use this to our advantage real quick and chop the remaining trees down and I’ve just realized all of those have literally just fell into the void well don’t I feel silly all right well

Let’s just try and at least pick them up while we can oh some saplings drop as well cool cool so let’s go ahead and quickly Place those saplings back down as I’ve been doing cuz every time I just chop a tree down it drops saplings anyway so I tend to just literally pick

Them back up and quickly replant them so they grow a lot faster and I haven’t got to really worry about them right so all we got to do now is quickly chop this one down right there we go drop some saplings nice nice oh and a stick thank

The sun is shining the pig’s still out here soaking up Sun from all different ways and it’s another new day so so I think today I’d like to make a better start on my house so I think we should get rid of this absolute disaster and

Start building our new one so to achieve this we’re going to have to mine some more oak logs and turn them into Oak planks so we’ve got quite a lot of wood and we can get started so from last night as well I managed to obtain quite

A few Oak planks I’ve also got uh 23 oak logs here but if I put these in I’ve nearly got a stack of oak logs So and I’ve realized we’ve also got four Oak planks that’s a good start but there’s also maybe like two or three trees here

Yep there’s three Three Trees here as well that haven’t been taken care of so by the time we mine all these and craft all of our planks I think we’ll have quite a few let’s get started so I began collecting resources I was going to need

Quite a lot of wood so I grabbed my trusty Stone Axe and got chopping then it was time to get rid of my bed and break the remaining pieces of planks so I could make a stable bridge and while I was at it I thought

It’d be a good idea to extend a little on My Tiny Farm it was time to start building the outline of the base with just a little time in patience I had it done furthermore I filled the gaps in on my Base I started my build laying the peer down and then began raising Them and I thought it might be nice just to add some Cobblestone walls for detail all right and place these stairs here doesn’t look too bad and all these stairs doesn’t really these don’t line up properly so how about we get rid of these real quick and then let’s just

Quickly place is upside down so they look pretty good and look at that look how much better that looks already all righty then let’s go around this side and do the exact same so let’s quickly build up and let me place that there then place our Oak stairs just there and

Then one next to it and then I got to repeat the same thing but down and how about we break this block here and then replace it with Oak stairs and then if we come down we can place these two for now and then place the oak stairs just

In front of it and then break it from behind and then do the exact same so just place them upside and we’re stuck well that was silly of me so let me quickly just mine that and then from this angle we should be able to there we

Go all right so that looks pretty good and then let’s just do the same at the bottom um let’s place that stairs there break that real quick all right that looks good let’s move on to the other side all right so let’s build up like usual all right let’s place that then

One next to it again chop this down real quick cuz it is just an absolute obstruction and then how about we place these two down here and then do the same thing underneath there we go all right that looks good let’s start filling this roof real quick and beforehand I just

Thought it’d look cool decorating the pillars with a few trap doors I just like the idea of it and also I’m just plac some torches underneath just to give it some lighting so just keep placing it around here and just like that Mr Piggy we

Filled the roof in so I pretty much just carried the rest of the workout by building another floor above the roof then I began raising the pillars I added Oak stairs above the entries purely because it looks cool but I just thought it looked right I added

One more layer on top and raised more pillars the resources were getting low so just to make sure I didn’t run out I ch chop my oak trees down so I’ve built the frame for my roof and now I just need to add some Oak stairs to the edges

To give it a nice clean finish that looks good so now just add that one there and one next to it and then on the end and let me just build round real quick all right place one there then one next to it and the same again let me

Just extend out a little bit and now just two there one next to it and so On I had it smoke fences connecting to both Cobblestone walls just for a final touch now the main things are done and out the way I just got to craft myself some ladders quick to place inside of my home so we can go up and down each level

Walking over my beautiful Bridge back to my home I’m just going to place these ladders both sides now so if I place it left here and then just here I can start placing it up now and look I can actually finally get up here so this is

Where my bed’s going to go by the way so this is like my bedroom kind of thing and we can also go down now we got two more though so this is going to be a bit of an issue isn’t it but how about we just quickly craft ourselves a nice

Crafting table quickly put that down and then craft some ladders that should be enough so let’s just quickly pop those down like that and let’s go back up and yeah that’ll uh that that will do it actually looks pretty good o look how nice it’s starting to look now but hang on a

Second piggy what are you doing hiding behind there huh and oh just don’t just jump on my crafting table like that come on now but how about we restore those hunger bars and it’s also getting kind of out here as well I noticed I’ve got an idea to put some leaves around the

Build so what I’m going to do is I’m going to take my shears and quickly just take all these leaves off so I can place them all around my build oh now that’s out the way how about we place them down now okay so let’s start just by filling

In the edges with some Cobblestone so this bit isn’t really that tricky there we go just follow it around and pretty much I just got to do this all the way around I think it’s safe to say as well that I got enough leaves for this as

Well because I’ve got quite a bit there haven’t I right right so then just connect this up around the back oh didn’t mean to do that almost finished now with the edging and I’ve run out of cobblestone well this is great isn’t it but in the meantime how about we just do

The oak leaves anyway and then later on we can think about filling in the rest of it I’m sure it’s only a couple blocks anyway so it’s not the end of the world but I’m going to place these oak leaves two blocks high to give a nice little

Look and I’m just pretty much going to do this all the way around and how about that it looks pretty good to me I like it it gives it a bit of character all right so it’s pretty much done for the house so let me just show you around

Real quick so here’s our Nice Bridge we got looks pretty cool I got a bit of cobblestone on the edge followed up with that as well and then just mainly just oak logs Oak stairs and I did not mean to break that oh it’s there there we go

So yeah like I was saying it’s just a little bridge that leads from this island to that one and if we just go up here real quick I’ll show you around so we’ve just filled up with some oak logs and some fences put that around and like

I was doing with a cobblestone around the edging and the leaves um I actually ran out so so it’s not a big deal though cuz when we mine more of them blocks over there it should drop us more Cobblestone so we just replace it later on but anyway so little side entrance

Here so it’s four ways it’s left right front and back so if you walk in here I put some fences here I don’t know I just like the detail I think it looks really nice some down here as well more here got some like little poles here I think

They look pretty cool but if we go in here and go up this is where our bed’s going to be placed we’re going to put some barrels up here or chests put a little crafting table and a little furnace up here and then if we just go

Down here on this bottom floor we’ve already put a crafting table and a furnace in here but down here I think it’s just going to be you know maybe the utility section Mr Piggy I mean I didn’t say make yourself at home but sure I

Top we’ve only got two pieces of iron but we do need to set a shears for more oak leaves so what we’re going to do is we’re going to quickly just craft one then take all of our leaves here why not snip some sheep while we’re it now

So you can get up here I’ve also extended this out by four um then I’m going to put my things here with all the chest and then I’m going to extend right up and build it out of um Cobblestone maybe so yeah so we need to start by

Putting both chests down here so we’ already got one chest but let’s go down quick and get the rest I’ve realized we got two raw iron in our hands as well let’s smell our two pieces of raw iron in here in the meantime oh my gosh we

Literally have 56 chests wow we won’t be um I don’t even think we’d be needing 56 chests in total but hey I’m not complaining I’d rather have enough than not enough oh I realized we got to craft some Hoppers as well so let me place these two chests down here why aren’t

That so then the mobs can’t see me um that and then I believe we have to put two trap doors here don’t we so let’s go and craft those and just to avoid mobs again we’re just going to go to sleep like that and then let’s head back up

The top Place some trap doors just on Top This Way the mobs won’t be able to see me right now we got to build up about 23 blocks upwards so let’s go to the side let’s build up for almost there now just got to build these other two sections up right like

This let’s get rid of that one there and also that one and just like that we’ve built up so now I’m just going to fill these Corners in and then I’m going to get rid of these middle blocks and replace them out for stairs like that

Got to be so careful right now cuz I don’t want to let no mobs take my XP um it should be the other way around so I’m just being very careful but just like that now I should have took a bucket of water up here but I didn’t that was

Really stupid of me actually right I guess I just have to build down and be very careful nearly down and there we go right let’s get some ladders as well and some water we’re going to take our buckets every single bucket we got we’re going to bring it up there oh my gosh

Look how many buckets we have all right let’s craft some sticks water source here now just in case we need it surrounded him with water but whatever so let me place two ladders here and then two ladders there right now I got to do this on all sides

So it looks like I’ll have to make more slabs let’s go okay one 1 2 3 7 same again on this side and lastly and now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our Cobblestone and build a two blocks high wall like this all around

Almost done just got this last little section left break this block in the corner oh and we collected it bonus now what we got to do is we got to connect some slabs at the top all right now we just connect this one up to here and

Then we do the same for the rest of it right let’s hope we don’t get any spiders up here now the next step is to fill them in so I just placed the slabs each side and then placed a bucket of water on top so it’s now flowing all nicely and now

All I got to do is place a trapo each side above each section so just like this either side now we just open them and then let’s just repeat the same on every single side all right that’s perfect now I’m going to place some trap doors on the top to prevent spiders from

Spawning so let me go and craft more trap doors and there and I just got to repeat the same step every single side four four and two that’s right all right so that’s it for the trap doors on this level all right now what we got to do is

We got to build three up so one two three and now we just got to do this all the way around just got to fill this last bit in and then we’ll be done and there we go right so we put the walls up and we got to be very careful for any

Mob spawning let’s just quickly get up here before anything does spawn and then all we got to do now is just on top just fill these layers in with slabs like we’ve done in these Corners so now all the trap doors are on the second layer

What we’re going to do is we might as well just take up some Oak planks and pretty much build out of dirt and then plant our wheat and seeds down so then we have like a massive farm so now we’re actually going to need all of that dirt

That we’ve collected so we’ve collected quite a lot here so now all we got to do is just strip the wood from the bottom and replace it with dirt blocks so let’s get started all righty then so I’ll show you what I’ve done so far so all I’ve

Done is literally replace the bottom out with some dirt and make some holes and fill it up with some water and then all I got to do now is just craft myself a stone hoe ho it all down and then round the outside of it I’m going to put like

Oak slabs around it I’ll show you what I mean in a second but let me just craft some right let’s see how this gets us I think it should be way more than enough to be honest it should be way more than enough but let’s just test it take these

Out and like replace it like This I think it looks cool I’m going to do it so why don’t I just take all the wood out first then I might have to sacrifice a couple of planks but it’s fine we got plenty of wood it’s okay fill in the bottom like this see what it
