Are you now that I major hey guys this is creator today I’m going to be redoing slash updating my old video on how to change the music disc resource pack so a lot of people have been having been confused and having complications with getting our resource packs to work so I Just want to redo the video and hopefully I can get all your issues resolved and also for any newcomers this is a video on how to do that change your music disc resource pack I just and doing an update so first of all let’s get right into this And start off your resource pack so first of all let’s do right click and go down to new and folder name that’s what you want your resource pack to be name so I’ll just name mine creator and inside this and open that up we have a series of folders rename so inside here Do new folder name this assets inside that run new folder name the minecraft inside this new folder names blank which is short for language and a new folder and sounds inside sounds we will make a new folder and in that one records alright so we’ve got this mostly set up here inside this Area with assets that’s right as you open your folder right here with assets we have a couple things we want to make so first of all we need our picture for the resource pack that shows up inside of Minecraft so I have this picture right here it is my minecraft skin and If you want to know it is 800 by 800 pixels let’s slid on my dub dimensions of the picture so you can close that let’s copy that and paste it right in here and what you want to name that is just PAC PNG and then we need to add Something else so we need to make a new text document and you just enter that so inside this we want to paste this right here it’ll be in the description down below and you’ll want to copy that and paste it right on in here there you go Do file save as we’ve done also actually you can go back in that right here you can change that to your resource pack name or a description of it I’ll just click creator file save that looks now you’re done with this and what you want To do is you want to rename it let it go pack MC mate and say yes to that there you go and inside assets inside minecraft and inside lane we need to make our language folder so what we want to do is make a new text document is Click enter inside this we also want this right here that’ll be in the description as well copy that paste it inside here and we’ll file safe and you can close this now I can pop go outside of that and go your sounds through your records and in here is where you want to Put your music there are all these different songs so there’s teamcap blocks chirp Farmall below he stall Strad ward 11 and a week these all the different music discs you can change you can’t add any new ones that would require you to make a mod but you can Change these current modes so I’ll just change the one that main model and so inside here we need to put our song so you can’t just use an mp4 mp3 song you need to use an OGG file and here is my mp3 song right here and we need to Convert that to oh GG that’s easy I’ll have a link down below for this website right here and what all you want to do is you want to choose your file you want to navigate to wherever that is and mine is right here on the desktop so I can Just double click that phone Cheyenne by Jason Derulo you don’t need to change any of these things just click convert file and I’ll take a little bit and I’ll be right back already so I just downloaded and I need to get it showing folder and pop it up here sorry That’s just where my downloads are set to go and so now you have the OGG file and let’s pop that right in here and since I’m going to change this music disc mall I need to name this OGG file take out the Cheyenne and type in mom You’re good with that so then go back out of that ivory records and order your sounds and go back into the link on this new text document since I changed the music disc mall I want that to be instead of say mall inside the game and I don’t need to change the music disc inside game with an Ambu like this with this so I want to change this to Cheyenne right there and then you want to file and save and close this and you can change all of these ones to your liking So if you were to do another music disc like change this you want to do it to whatever song we put in the OGG file name to Strad just like that right there and delete this and need to whatever you want I’m going to save for now I just Wanted to say strap file save close and then you need to rename this so what we need to rename to is remove everything and name it to n en underscore US capital us in the dot L ang link and you can say yes to this and that is your Resource pack done so now we can close this we can open up minecraft already so the minecraft is opened and now we want to go to options resource packs open reset resource pack folder and we want to put that resource pack right here so my right here creator move that right Over into here and close this so it hasn’t showed up yet because you need to reload this so just click done go to resources packs again and scroll down should be right there so just arrow that over so it’s in a selected resource packs click done and now Make this bigger go to single-player period that’s just one my single-player world iridescent and in here I have the music disc Cheyenne it’s named Cheyenne and I can start playing it for you I’ll just stop that for copyright reasons and that was my video on how to Change the resource facts so I hope you guys enjoyed and I hope I solved any of your issues and I hope anyone could get a lot of good information out of this until next time enjoy and have a good day so back Video Information

As claimed in the video here is the stuff to copy:
{ “pack”:{ “pack_format”:2, “description”:”Pack-NAME” } }
***NOTE: For anyone running into issues such as “incompatible” or the pack simply isn’t showing up, that means the “pack_format” part of the mcmeta file requires a different number depending on the version of Minecraft that you are using. I left a list below of what number you should use instead of 2 when making these packs.
1 for versions 1.6.1 – 1.8.9 2 for versions 1.9 – 1.10.2 3 for versions 1.11 – 1.12.2 4 for versions 1.13 – 1.14.4 5 for versions 1.15 – 1.16.1 6 for versions 1.16.2 – 1.16.5 7 for versions 1.17.x 8 for versions 1.18.x 9 for versions 1.19.x
