Insane Minecraft LV Machines in GTNH Ep.7!

Hello and welcome back to another episode of GRE deck New Horizons and I’ve done some stuff in between episodes I have gathered a lot of resources I got a lot of Motors pumps conveyor belts pistons and most importantly a whole bunch of circuits 19 circuits it’s a lot

That’s a lot of circuits um yeah I I did some some of the things in this uh LV tier just just to start preparing before making machines haven’t made anything yet I’ll do that on camera I did a bunch of grinding and waiting for like resources like um a lot of processing of

Ingots a lot of uh like getting slime balls for example by growing these trees out outside I was growing these slime trees getting slime balls for making resistors I think it was not exactly sure anymore so much stuff I have a whole bunch of iron a whole bunch of 10 not that much

Copper because hey in the LV age everything takes copper because that’s that’s just what you use for cables I guess so yeah I’ve just been waiting for steel a lot generally uh because that’s my bottleneck right now and I really don’t want to make more of these blast

Furnaces but I think I’ll have to it it’s just quite a quite an annoying process making them but I guess I don’t really have a choice also I thought about um I thought about the way I should do the steam situation here with low power

LV and uh and steam and I think instead of keeping these machines here and making another area here for low voltage I think I will just put low voltage starting here and then after I have a couple machines that let me like get more efficient use of materials I’ll

Start making more machines and just replace these ones instead because I think it’s smart to have an area with manual machines like this where you just put stuff stuff at the top and you get the output at the bottom I think that’s pretty smart for for just manual crafting a lot of stuff

Uh later on I’ll make some like production chains of how to make Resources with a bunch of different resources but and there’s been a lot of comments so later on in the episode I’ll add some more signs so wait for that to happen I think I want to do this as well

Which is not a not an important thing but I really want to do it I got some lights yeah flat lamp I got these things from from a quest reward from a from a loot box whatever you call them which are a great replacement for torches because torches do not look futuristic

So if I had something like this it would probably almost definitely look better like in that spot that just fits perfectly we’ll see how see how bad it is when it’s dark I guess it can do that when it’s night time cuz like right now there’s so many torches that I just

Don’t don’t want to be in my base I’d rather replace it with clamps like that they look way better but I’ll do that a bit later I guess the thing I want to do is start making machines from first team and I think one of the first

Machines I want is definitely a bending machine and something else I don’t know which one it was but I’ll get the bending machine probably first need to find it where it is here oh there it is yes bending machine this is what I want okay the recipe for this

Is I could probably just do that right now I think I got all the things needed let’s see I do this I do that and there we go vending machine there’s no other Quest I need right yeah just retrieve this bending machine very good I guess I should look into what kind of

Cables I can use right now uh uh oh nice yeah I’m not sure which kind of cables should I use at first the obvious thing would be like copper cables I guess cuz they are really easy to make but the cable have this which holds oh it’s going to hold medium voltage even

Wait is copper good good enough oh it’s actually two EU volts loss per block do I have one that’s less is is uh 10 better let’s see if I do 10 is 10 any better 10 is it seems like 10 is the low voltage one now like my my tiered one

Seems like I need to do this uh okay I can do that I think it should have some Thin cables already so I don’t even need to make them or maybe I don’t maybe I do not yeah it seems like I don’t actually I should have some

Th plates though not that many well unfortunate uh let’s get grab three stacks and make some plates do this do that okay I’ll just put them in here put them in here I could have just put the three stacks there I guess that would have been

Easier but there we go making some th plates I have a lot of copper plates and a lot of stuff already prepared before because I now I’m going to need a whole button of stuff so also I changed the recording settings I’m using right now

So if it’s better hey let me know if it’s worse also let me know I’m trying to experiment and see what’s see what see what works and what doesn’t um change change the audio recording and the video recording so if it’s I I hope it’s better quality now cuz it doesn’t

Really affect me to record at a slightly better quality it was just like some fiddling around with the settings so I hope it sounds better now all right now I should have some plates here almost done oh it’s actually perfectly done okay have the 10 plates I will make it into wire for

Sure 10 C 10 wire and then I covered the wire with rubber sheets do I have more rubber I do I can do the whole stack very nice okay so now I have the cables I have the bending machine and the bending machine takes 32 volts and it gets supplied by the 10

Cable which can do 32 volts so right now with my setup I I probably shouldn’t have done this but with my setup right now I can only do this one machine so if I take my steam turbine where is it yep it generates 32 this one consumes 32 and

The cables can do 32 so that’s all great I just need to place it down hook it up to some steam and it should be very good now I’ll put it somewhere here I think because I already have steam going here I just need to expand it a tiny bit

Closer I’m going to have the machine probably in here because with these ones it’s actually a bit more convenient as they don’t really care that much about being next to each other or needing space for steam because these these machines need these barriers essentially for letting go of Steam on the side

These low voltage ones don’t need that which is great uh they just need the power and I’m thinking right now I can probably just hook hook up the machine straight to a turbine if I could rotate it correctly I do have the wire cutters uh this one needs a wrench never

Mind so if I rotate it and do this yeah I can make that go there and it should be as simple as just placing this and connecting it and giving it theme like so starts spinning generating steam goes into here and it should be powered so

Now with this bending machine I can make plates more efficiently I’m pretty sure the recipes are oh it’s one to one now is it so where is it where is it where is it yeah it’s one to one one Ingot makes one plate oh that’s way better than I just wasted so many

Ingots oh no I could have used this oh well uh I’ll probably make move that there in that case although it doesn’t do the same thing exactly so I don’t know I don’t know how I’ll do this but right now this is this is it it

This is great uh I can start start putting stuff in there see how fast it is I don’t remember exactly I think it’s just I think it’s the same speed it’s just more efficient in Steam usage also I think I need to set it to one yeah yeah like it’s pretty decent for

Speed speed wise and it’s making one to one so that’s amazing okay what else do I need I have uh the wire Mill and and uh ooh basic lathe all right I can do the basic lathe which will make rods that’s good that’s good should should be able to make it I

Think I’m pretty limited on the resources I have right now so let’s see uh I favorite that do this can I make it no I need this piston can make a piston but I think then I’m missing the mo rotor then oh the motor I mean

Actually can make it I did go on a bit of a trip out if you want if you see here this is this is my area here I went out and tried to find diamonds and there we go as soon as I found a diamond vein

I found two at once so I had plenty of diamonds at that point so I put just a stack to smelt which I mean this looks very suspicious just having a stack of diamonds exactly but I have more ores as well here uh where is it yeah there’s 46

So um so yeah there we go basically I think this is basically the only thing I can make right now but that’s that’s fine okay more Burgers very nice so the problem here is that I will I will be only able to power one of these machines because I’ll need more steam

Turbines and that’s a bit of an issue I’ll need more steam turbines to do this realistically how many machines do I want to run at the same time I really don’t know but I think uh like five turbines maybe I really got to think I don’t I

Don’t know well this this one takes yeah 32 as well so it should be should be fine I’ll just put it down and not think about it too much because that’s just going to make me think I don’t know yeah it already connected nice and that that can make me R very

Nice not sure not sure this is quite a tricky stage I would say having to figure out how you even want to do stuff like with power because ideally I would have really nice cables that can handle uh like a lot of voltage and then just more ABS I guess and I

Just spread it out because if it starts losing a vault per thing then I’m like wasting power so if the power generation is too far away then I’m wasting effective power don’t really like the idea of that I’m not sure I need to look at the thing again I

Need to look at the guide for how cables work so sending too high voltage or too many amps down a cable will cause the cable to burn up and start fires which may cause machine explosions make sure the number of amps provided by generators and buffers to to a cable

Does not exceed the amps it is capable of carrying all right so the cables need to be rated for that amp and and stuff but machines sending a higher voltage than a machine’s tier causes an explosion great sending more amps that a machine can use doesn’t harm anything so

You’re can to have a cable That’s rated 4 amps that should be fine I think so like I would need to make cables there four amp cables can I just do this to combine them no I cannot of course I mean wires and then I need to combine them into this let’s Say four maybe I should do eight I feel like eight is fine I do eight steam generators and and then eight eight times cable so I should be able to power about seven machines at the same time and I I I’m pretty sure that the steam generator doesn’t even uh

Burn all the fuel unnecessarily so I should be able to do this to make eight times steam cable all right and it oh it’s losses two wait what loss per meter is two oh so if you wrap it it doesn’t oh you need to put the cable you need to

Put the need to put stuff on it three rubber sheets all right do that eight 10 oh look at that eight times eight Max amperage very good so now I should be able to make more steam turbines as well oh now it’s night time actually let’s get this check Ed by something

Else I want to see where the lights can go how many more unnecessary torches do I have there’s torches here don’t need to be here here place a lamp and all around my base I have torches in these Corners I could just put a lamp like that very

Good this is starting to look more futuristic already I love it all right this is starting to look more like a proper base now using lamps instead of torches pretty Advanced oh yeah this looks way better oh more torches eliminate the Torches I didn’t mean to take this eliminate all torches torches equals Primitive all right let’s see oh there’s one more torch you get rid of get rid of you and do that maybe yeah that looks fine now I do still have torches in here but since I’m not generally going into the maintenance tunnels all the time I

Don’t look at them 24/7 so I think I could just leave it like that and okay my plates are done I can keep uh keep replacing stuff I do think uh yeah I want I want this to be lit up as well so a lamp over

There very good is there a way to like chisel these and stuff no okay but yeah that’s great I don’t want to use all of them immediately I still have a stack and a half almost so that’s great now if I go back to over here and look at the steam production I

Think I’ll make it so that the steam production is uh oh I know I know I know I know I think I can do it like this where the the the steam pipe is going to go above how should I do this well well the power cable is definitely going to

Go here that’s for sure ow the steam hurts okay so the power cable goes there and an easy way to connect The steam uh the the turbines I guess would be here and then just rotating it to be facing down so I can connect it like so and then connect the steam let’s say up here which is above my uh head height so I can keep I can walk around

Here do some maintenance add some add stuff later so if I do this it starts spinning very nice and if I just add another turbine here I can expand this more to this side add another turbine and then I have a possibility of using two machines at the same time I think

This is a decent uh way to do it and then if I want I can break these blocks and put down a chest at the bottom at the top so I can put stuff in so like feeds through and makes makes it nice yeah for now I don’t need that stuff yet

I don’t think this is great progress and in fact I’ll just place all these pipes uh all these cables I mean right here 1 two three four five six yep great let’s see how many turbines can I make cuz I think that’s going to be a bit of a limiting factor

Because I need a lot of motors and to make a lot of Motors I need a lot of stuff hey I can actually make a lot of Motors let’s make 16 right now 16 motors steam turbine I can make one that’s a start how what am I missing ooh

The 10 rotors I think I made a lot of them and I’m missing them really okay uh I thought I made so many I guess I guess I guess stuff uses it oh well let’s make more rotors then look in the crafting table look at the 10 rotor what do I

Need more more tin plates I did make a bunch should have it over here 10 plate and what oh did I make all of the tin plates into cables oh boy okay oh now now is the perfect time to make some th plates over here here then plates this is going to

Make plates right y all right and while that’s working I can already add the second steam turbine over here point it downwards connect the cable connect the Steam and it’s working nice nothing’s exploding yet right I I really hope I’m understanding everything everything correctly and I won’t make a single explosion happen

Ever but you can never be never be sure about that to make this you need this to make that you need this I can make uh 20 let’s say have a lot of bronze stuff bronze plates all right do this and another turbine what else do I

Need oh I ran out of these and I ran out of those as well really oh wow I really did okay I guess I’ll do this to make more of these is just a lot of Steel plates that that is the most expensive part I guess and because I did it inefficiently

Because of course I did I don’t I’ll yeah I made a bunch of Steel plates using the 3 to2 recipe and now I have one to one unlocked and that’s just way nicer I guess actually no I I won’t make make another steam turbine cuz I have

Three right now and three is most definitely enough I don’t need another one yet rotate the downwards connect that connect that like so all right so I have three turbines that’s three machines I can power right now easily so I will use yeah I’ll use the steel to make more

More of those machine casings let’s do it here machine casing oh I can make uh let’s make how many eight really that’s going to use like most of my steel I don’t know if that’s smart cuz then I won’t be able to make more stuff I I’ll do six

Six is fine for now and then these six get upgraded into these low voltage holes all right and then with this I’m I can make a what else what can I make I have a bending machine a lathe I have a bending machine a lathe what else do I want I

Guess I’ll just look at the quest line quest line what should I make what are the things I need to make stuff to make more stuff basic wire Mill isn’t this the one I made already no that’s the bending machine yeah I need the wire

This no idea recipes oh okay I guess it’s something don’t really care yeah what do I need I remember seeing that there’s another option for this like there’s a fluid solidifier where if you have molten resources and the mold you can make the like the pin pin RoR for example way

Easier oh no no no okay I know what I need to do well I I’ll want to make this at some point and I want to make this at some point I think the assembler is way more important actually but the assembler also uses the robot arms which are yeah the robot arms

Okay this is a whole lot of resources and I think I’ll need more rods specifically steel rods so I can already make make them over here and I think for this one is just one I set it to one it should make a steel rod right this should be

Right yep exactly so make 20 of those real quick I have the wire Mill I have the lathe I have the bending machine I definitely want the assembler yeah so I need I need the because this is quite a big unlock that you can make so many more things than I

Think but this one’s way easier so I think I’ll actually do this one because it’s easier what am I missing for this one let’s see extruder and oh I’m missing quite a lot okay so I need this which needs rods which I’m getting right now so let me just grab

Them do this real quick make a single piston and copper stuff so I need copper cables that are ooh yeah can you make copper so so how do how do you make this I think there’s a recipe using these where is it the wire Mill yeah you just take that Ingot

And straight into wire so set it to one and you can get stuff really easily uh wire Mill and set it to one and okay ingots into cable right nice into wire directly all right all right all right also I did this I I set up a key bind to

Turn on and off the more info on the top left which I probably should have done way way earlier but at least I did it now so if I don’t need info I just I just turn it off and it doesn’t fill up your screen which is nice better a better viewing experience

Later so what else what else what else uh so yeah I think I’ll do the the assembler yeah to make the assembl assembler you need the robot arms and to get the robot arms it is also a bit tricky cuz you need a lot of steel rods and

Stuff but I might have all the components needed for it right here we’ll see so it needs two of these arms everything else I have already to make two of these arms you need two Pistons to do that you need two small gears to do that I just do

This have the gears now I need two pistons and then I need two of these arms I can make one ooh complex machines that’s thing that’s a thing you’re going to hate this for okay I get two circuits and a thing very good more press more random stuff I

Guess I don’t get anymore this is just my garbage chest I guess but everything I don’t care about I need another one of these what what am I missing for this oh it’s just 10 cable oh that’s nothing okay I okay I’ll do this I’ll take take thin ingots and once this is

Crazy okay it’s it’s a tiny bit of running back and forth but the way I’ve built my base is all centralized around the storage system so it’s not that bad so I just go here and make the assembling machine no no no no I make this first let’s make 10 why not

Oh look at that arsic and sulfur dud the arsic is the big deal so this is going to be I had 12 so this going to be six arsonic which is like nothing I think right I don’t even know how much I need 2 three four can take some of this stuff already

Wash it really primitive wash in but it works and then after this is done with this I’ll put these in here I think yeah Spite and do the electrolyzer oh no no no Electro yeah go here spite spite goes in there easy peasy I think both of these machines can

Work at the same time without any problems so this episode I have three steam turbines making power I have what is this 1 2 3 4 5 six seven eight machines that’s that’s crazy and then hopefully this is going to give me some uh some some some of

Those things cuz it’s a what was the chance again let’s see the chance is really low it’s 99.7% chance I need 9.17% chance for the gallion dust I don’t know this is quite ridiculous let’s see well I have a couple stacks so it should be fine like

If you look here I wash these as well I need the bucket hello why’ you jump out it’s annoying yeah this is like one of the reasons you definitely want the washer for really quickly as well you want to get the washer because doing it normally is really annoying okay the real guard

Dust I guess is going to go there not this one so oh this one’s already done so six arsic that’s fine this one definitely wants uh spell right spite spell right spell right yeah that’s whole a whole bunch of Spite and then I guess I’ll just put a hopper here very very

Easy pull out whatever you can essentially double the storage it can hold so this is five stacks and then this is Stacks so he going to be able to work a bit longer without uh without my attention all right so I guess I’ll just I’ll just I’ll just wait for the thing we’ll

Guess um they say I want to I want to suggest to create a Discord server to be updated for future videos because YouTube algorithm is at some and sometimes does not send a notification so hey I mean if if you want a Discord channel uh I can do that

Easily so I made the Discord channel uh it doesn’t really have anything in it yet which is pretty simple reason I don’t know what to do with it yet so I did make a notifications Channel where I could like notify that I hey hey I made

An upload but I’m guessing we could also they could also be a nice spot to just hang out and play games together if you want anybody that’s interested so there’s a link in the description you can you can join and uh you can just chat hang out you know uh but that’s
