Imagine this you just finished a huge project in Minecraft maybe it’s a huge house or whatever you really wanted to build and as the sun sets you sit there and listen to hear this music the music you were hearing all those years of building is music by C418 And it is probably some of the most iconic pieces of Art in gaming history and if not history in general I know that sounds a bit farfetched but I genuinely believe that and so it really inspired me to make my own music if I had the chance of getting it put into Minecraft and that’s pretty much what this video is so let’s get into it all right so right off the bat from listening to all of those what I think I really need to do is um you need some ambient strings that’s one thing I noticed that’s always in there you need Um really good piano which I’m not very good at piano so I’m not sure how this is going to work out okay so we need some strings right off the bat I think that will be good or maybe we should no I think we’re going to go with the Strings first it’ll help us set the key and what we need uh oh the temple I almost forgot about the tempo I like 104 104 might be okay God I’m looking at myself in the screen I’m literally so pink okay so I think we’re going to start off with flex I really like Flex word off the bat I’m kind of liking that but I need something live if that makes Sense okay so I I’m really liking these strings already we’re going to mess with some of these settings and see what we can Get all right this sounds good to me so far um but as you can hear it’s kind of really in your face and it needs to be more not in your face so we’re just going to cut all these down a little bit we’re just going to keep it like that Let’s see that what this sounds like Now all right so it sounds good so far but one thing I am noticing by listening into these song the strings don’t instantly transition into each other it’s kind of like a like a wave like it goes up and it’s down and then the next Set of notes hit so we’re just going to cut it like maybe like this and I think we’re going to lower the BPM a little bit let’s see what this sounds like Now okay that’s good that’s that’s exactly what I wanted actually I’m surprised that worked that well so there is a lot of Reverb going on not too much but okay this is good this is good we’re going to place this down now okay so the piano comes in after like this repeats Again so it’s just the strings by itself for a bit and then it comes back in here and then this is where the piano comes in I God it’s hot I need some water all right guys um I went the unhealthy route I got Pepsi instead I’m sorry uh this Video sponsored by Pepsi yeah buy Pepsi don’t buy Pepsi buy water anyway uh back to where I was we need to add some piano so I guess we can take the same midi that we just mapped out right here and we’re just going to copy and paste it And we’re just going to mess with it in here so something like This yeah it’s something like that I’d say I feel like this is a good example so now we just got to fix that they’re like pretty close together oh didn’t mean to do that there we go this is sounding a little better actually now that I Relisten to some of them a little more and I think we need a different piano it’s more of like a natural sounding piano so like let’s that’s not it maybe we got to use flex again I feel like Flex is our main thing right now all right let’s see Some of these what’s this that’s all right maybe this perfect that’s exactly what I needed actually let’s mess with these settings okay I don’t really like the Reverb on the flex so I’m going to turn that off and add my own all right that’s good that’s good All right and now they also add like little in between which I know that’s not the the best way to explain what it is but you’ll see once I do it I’m about to do it right now That’s so perfect I honestly didn’t expect it to sound that Good dude this is amazing like I I don’t know I’m not trying to my own horn obviously I hate being cocky or whatever cuz I’m I consider myself a little more humble than most people but man this is better than like I exceeded my own bar If that makes sense I’m not very good at making music so something like this is actually amazing that I’m able to do this wow okay we’re good we got it we got it we got it I’m going to give myself a pat on the back right there I I’m good I’m good here we’re going to add some of our base notes Here I like the way this sound sounds is just a little bit too much Distortion we need to take our lower notes as you can see right here a g f back to a GF it’s a little cycle um we need to take these this is going to be Our base notes so if we bring this down to a oh wait let me go to our fly no a a and then G and then F and then I think it just repeats oh wait I did that wrong my bad it needs to be double the length there we Go perfect okay I’m going to copy and paste it okay and then I feel like halfway through this is where we in introduce maybe some like other keys I don’t know if I should make it a piano or like maybe some sort of like xylophone sound or something I could use Like a soft sine wave maybe I feel like that would sound cool I’m over here talking to my screen even though the camera’s up there I’m not used to doing webcam videos like I was saying we need some sort of zy xylophone sound or soft sound wave S Wave geez I can’t speak what we’re going to do Not that I know we’re not doing That okay this is sounding pretty good I think we need to add some Delay all right so this is actually kind of perfect to me to me obviously nothing’s perfect but this is probably some of my best work I’d say so far I think I’m going to raise the attack a little Bit okay so I’ll just make a a second pattern here I think it needs to be even more in the background so like it’s barely audible but it kind of complements everything else which is kind of how all Minecraft music is it all kind of just complements each Other I love that part okay so let’s just copy and paste this for now and bring this over to our pattern wait did I even make a second okay I did make a okay there oh I didn’t I did not mean to select all of that there we go that’s What I was trying to do no that’s not what I was trying to do hold on okay that was by my own error I meant to highlight only this there we go and I guess we’ll just just go like that and then it’ll change AC AC e okay AC AC AC that sounds like a horrible ACDC there we go okay so we got that done I’m just wanting to get this over with but at the same time I’m enjoying making this so much because of how good it sounds to me that I just want to keep Making it okay so first off we’re lowering the Volume adding some Reverb cuz it needs to be Ambient okay so we’ll repeat it a few more times we just need some like back background noise kind of maybe we’ll add some wind let’s see what we have and for our like breakdown where it starts adding less and less instruments again like it’s kind of reversing the Drop if that makes sense we’re going to add a little white noise right here I’m not sure how to explain what I mean but I guess you’ll just see man I should really be explaining what I’m doing more but I’m kind of just so into what I’m Doing that I’m forgetting to even do that I just realized I forgot to save this let me save this okay so I’m going to set the pitch range to 12 set the bend range to 12 and I’m going to choose noise we’re going to add our EQ and We’re going to set this to like 20 HZ 18 khz cut so we could like mess with this and it’s going need to go uh like This you you see the vision you see the vision God I can’t zoom in okay and then we’re just going to slowly bring it up like this oh we also need to add the volume too so we need to automate the band we need to automate the volume but I say Volume like that volume bad aggressive okay and then the last thing we need to automate is the actual pitch which is why I changed the range and everything there we go and then this is where oh we also want to add some delay which probably like why delay but you’ll see in a Second oh what I originally was going to do you see how it’s like this part I don’t know why I’m pointing like you can see whatever so the first pattern it’s only in the first bar and then the second bar there’s two and then three and then it like it increases as time Goes on and then I was going to slowly reverse that but then I realized the song is going to be like 10 minutes long so I decided an even better idea was just to outright let it just go off with the piano let’s see what it sounds like Together Wow that’s that’s actually really Good that’s really good all right so we’re all done um if you want to listen to this full thing I’ll leave a link to it in the description probably I’m not sure where I’m going to upload it but I just know that I’ll link it in the Description and I’ll put it in the pin comment so yeah I guess that’s about it I think we did really good so uh I guess I’ll see you guys later I don’t know if I’m going to make another video like this um I probably will if this video
