Hi this is a tutorial on how to set up everything you need to get into the procrastinator minecraft server and by extension modded minecraft in general there are a lot of details people tend to get stuck on so I’m going to try to break it down as best as I can You’ll find all the links mentioned in the description below first you’re going to need to have minecraft Java Edition which you can get from minecraft net and cost $27 in 2020 Java edition is the easiest Dakota force so most mods are developed for this version you’ll create an account downloaded install it and Then you’ll set up your mods use the links in the description below to download all the mods as well as Forge forges a mod loader and the specific one we use is the one compatible with the latest version of pixelmon once you’ve got all that run the exe and install That ship next you’ll need to put all these mods in the appropriate folder to get to that minecraft folder you’ll need to find app data you can access the app data folder by typing in percentage app data percentage in your computer search bar near the start button but that Doesn’t work on some people’s oasis so you can also find it in your user folder if you don’t see your user folder go up as far as you can in your file explorer to the source folder and you’ll find it if there’s no app data folder there make Sure you can see hidden items from there go into roaming and then a dot minecraft if there’s no mods folder just create a folder titled mods and paste them all in there from there open the minecraft Launcher click the installations tab and create a new installation pick a cute Icon and give it a name if you please and then in the version tab scroll all the way to the bottom to select our version of forage then set the game directory to the dot minecraft folder by default the game will allow 2 gigabytes of RAM but with all the months we have You should have give it 4 to 6 gigabytes or you’ll just get kicked when you try to log in click on more options then in the JVM arguments tab find where it says X MX 2g and change that to to your desired amount of RAM my computer has Eight gigs in total and I can get away with giving minecraft 6 save the installation and press play once the game has loaded select multiplayer and where it says add server paste this server address if you’re joining to play on a free weekend then Come on in we try to do two three days a month where we disabled a whitelist to grow our community usually those three days will coincide with an event like a championship tournament so get in there build a Pokemon team build a neat house and build some friendships to get in any Other day you’ll need to be a patreon to the PCP minecraft patreon for $5 a month you’ll get a link to join the discord and you’ll have the role at minecrafter which will let us know to whitelist you now you’re all set up just click that play button [Applause] Video Information
