don’t know if you knew this a lot of college kids like to go to dinner or like like to to hang out in evenings it’s like the peak time mainly because people like Roommate like to sleep until it’s about 2: p.m. so I was like that’s fine so to give you an idea Saturday Sunday I was like I need to knock out I need to not do anything Saturday and Sunday actually I worked both of those days I worked Eight hours on Saturday this is last week and then four hours on Sunday and then Sunday was roommate’s birthday so we did a bunch of stuff with with roommate on Sunday I was like I’m not going to mess with Sunday it’s roommate’s birthday Monday I had work we Were planned to do stuff and then we okay we started watching a TV show this was my first mistake but roommate and I we like to watch TV shows together we like to watch very long TV shows together we like to watch 40 episode 40 minute TV shows together and Roommates were like guys it’s spring break we’re going to do that and unfortunately because roommate has a tendency of sleeping until it’s 2 p.m. it’s not a reunion it’s been two weeks calm down hi Perry hi Kate guys calm down I appreciate you taking our watching Times into account I feel like it’s like the least I can do when I was like studying streams during the day that’s one thing but like if I’m doing actually content I want to be able to do it with you guys I like hanging out with you It’s fun for me um but anyways Monday we start watching this TV show we watch like six hours of this TV show and I I didn’t get home until like after 2 p.m and so it was like 6 hours of TV show we had put that day down on The calendar it’s TV show day so it’s fine it’s not a 10-e reunion so it was fine Tuesday come Tuesday I was like I work I worked um from 3:00 p.m. to midnight on that Tuesday of break two weeks ago so then Wednesday we got invited to a friend’s House he made us dinner it was like a whole thing Thursday day I was like I’m tired and then I didn’t stream and then it was Friday and I was like it’s the weekend and then the weekend happened and the weekend happened and I looked at My schedule and I went well now that it’s I guess Sunday I better look at what I’ve got on the docket for the next week so I can be prepared and I look and I’m like oh [ __ ] I have a really hard Chem test on Friday and then I looked Again I was like [ __ ] Sunday is my club’s biggest event I did not get home a single time between Monday and yesterday before 1 p.m. most days it was after 1:00 a.m. but I didn’t get home until chat it was bad when I tell you it Was bad it was bad and I was bad for not streaming but also I was at the library for like 6 hours cramming for this exam that I kind of forgot existed and then I was working a lot of hours so many hours Chad it’s so hard to come Home and and stream after you’ve just dealt with like schizophrenic patients for like hours but today I did that I had work today I’m living the college dream clearly so while I did not stream in the past two weeks I did take a week of like mental health Which was good I really needed that and then took a week of the exact opposite which was exactly not mental health so in my defense my little break was almost exactly 50% mental health and then 50% ruining all of that mental health work I had just done so I’m sorry Big Life events Um the event for my club schizophrenic Ward as I’m leaving why are you at a psych W CU it’s my job I work There I always be at the psych w i be at the psych W 20 hours a week minimum um and as I was trying to leave patient grabbed me and was like trying to hug me and trying to kiss me and I was like okay bye-bye I’m going to go home now And then another patient who’s been who has eloped which twice three times which means that they three times in the last 3 days which means that they try and leave the cycle and do it successfully they follow someone out they get out of the door before someone is able to you Say it this patient comes up to me and goes where are you going and I say I’m going home and she goes can I come with you and I say no you can’t come with me cuz she can’t come with me and she’s Like I want to go home and I was like I know but not right now not today and she’s like I want to come with you and I was like you can’t um and at this point some staff come over cuz like I’m being like grabbed by this girl and this other Girl’s like kind of egging me and so it’s just like kind of a lot and so some staff come over to help me and we walk from one door to like so there’s multiple ways out of of any psych I’d say really most of them uh for Situations like this I go to the the eggs that we’re supposed to use and um I’m basically told like I walk I walk from the main door to like a side door and it’s still like it’s getting worse and I’m like okay well the patient who’s Lop like three times I absolutely cannot Leave while she’s standing near the door she will leave the psych wward and then it will be bad and so some staff step in some other staff like co-workers step in and come and help me and they’re able to distract the two people who were kind of Like perseverating on me a little bit and then as I’m leaving they start to get in a fight the two patients and I’m like not my problem anymore guys bye guys so that was one of the less fun fun moments that we’ve had parents phone calls and like dealing with a lot of stuff like that patients will frequent we have a patient right Now who really likes football and so he’ll ask me sometimes to print out like football player statistics so I do that for them my job is less to like make them feel better and more to like make sure that the people who can make them feel better have the time and the space And the um resources to do that is it here it is okay I’m going to just light it up actually let’s just play water slide we’re going to go all the way down actually no what we’re going to do is we’re going to block it and then we’re going To we’re going to go light the tunnel again since clearly that’s broken um and we’re going to make a door and we’ll put it at the entrance and that will help because it will keep the water out so although we’ll still have to swim to get there I think it will be better In the world yeah again my job is like I don’t know it’s weird it’s more paperwork it’s less like patient interaction I like it um it’s more of the administrative side of immediate patient care so like I exist in a weird world where I’m like not really Administration but I’m Definitely not patient
