Hello hello today I’ll be showing you how to build this little starter house here you can do this in whatever style you want I’ve done a couple examples here to give you some inspiration as far as a starter house goes it’s pretty functional we’re able to fit some crops Along the sides and the back here on the inside you’ll find some space for chests furnaces whatever you want to put down here and enough room for a level 30 enchanting station it’s a fun little build and uh I love building it early on in my survival world it doesn’t really Require any complex materials so uh let’s go ahead and get started this here is what you’ll need for this style of the build you can use whatever pallet of blocks that you would like uh as long as they are the same shape you know stairs planks whatnot uh you can really mess Around with this as much as you’d like so let’s go ahead and build the dark oak variety start with your Spruce log Place one down then come to the side here and count out three blocks 1 2 3 and then on the fourth block Place Another Log so There should be a three block Gap in between each log you’ll want to do this all the way back for three logs here and then around the back side so 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 and then same thing up the side 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 then in the front where you’ll have your door you’ll want to go uh three blocks in so one two 3 1 two 3 and this is where your door will go and there should be a two block gap between here next you’ll want to take your Spruce logs and go to the corners and bring them up three blocks 1 2 3 so that’s a total of four blocks in each corner and then for the other logs you’ll come up two blocks total of three high and then you’ll connect them across the top like This all right so once that’s done you’ll want to come to the inside and take your wall block and your glass what you’ll want to do is starting on the door you’ll come here and you’ll make this shape just like that and you’ll place your glass on the inside and you’re Going to do this for all of the Corners all right so once the walls are finished it’s time to get started on the roof this is the trickiest part of the build but I will go slowly and if you follow along you should pick up the pattern pretty easily uh so you’ll want a temporary block here stair coming out The side just like this then you’ll want to crouch down and do an upside down down stair with a stair on top another upside down stair Plank and then a stair then you’ll repeat that so upside down stair plank stair and then one more upside down stair with a stair on Top This should bring you to the center block of your build uh and here you’ll place a slab with a slab on top and then another slab out the front like that and then you can go ahead and put your Lantern just like that so you’re going To just do do this around the other side here as well and on all four sides and that is how we get the framework of our roof going so let me do that real Quick once you have the first two parts of the roof done like this you’re going to want to come to the side here and break the stair that began the first part and place one like this then you’ll just do the same pattern on these two Sides All right so once you finished the outline of the roof you’re going to want to come to the corners here where these awkward stairs are and just remove those and replace them with a slab and you’re going to do that for each Corner all right now it’s time to fill in the roof so you’re going to grab your uh Spruce stairs and your Spruce planks and basically all you have to do is just follow the pattern set by the outline so you’ll see here we have stairs so we Place a stair here to finish the pattern and we have blocks so we place the blocks and then stairs again and so on and so forth it’s pretty simple just follow follow the pattern of the outline and you’re going to do that on all four Sides Once you’re finished with that you’ll take your dark oak slabs and fill in the gaps here to the center and in the center you’ll place a spruce plank to top off the roof and that’s it for the outside of the roof then you’re going to want to take your Spruce blocks and come in here you’ll Place one here and one here on the outside then just go ahead and close in the bottom then from the center bring it down all the way and then one two one two one two one two so this is the shape You’re going for you basically want a 1 by two window on either side and it’s going to be again same for all four Sides and to finish this off we’ll go ahead and place our glass in the windows Then you just need some Spruce stairs and a dark oak wood door like so all right so that’s going to be the basic framework of the house to add a bit of detail I’m going to grab a dark oak fence and just kind of fill in the Space on the front here and then Throw Some Leaves down with some dark oak trap doors and and then I’m going to go and repeat this pattern on all sides now the last thing for the outside is the crops so you’ll take your dirt block and your Dark oak trap doors here and on the sides you’ll just fill in like this and trap Doors Once that’s done you’ll grab your water bucket and replace this dirt block here with water and cover it with a trapo this will allow you to use the hoe on these pieces of grass and plant your crops for the front Planters you can put whatever you’d like flowers grass Anything you want so that’s going to be it for the outside of the house to do the floors you’re going to want to just come inside break out all the dirt blocks in here and replace with stripped oak wood you can use whatever you’d like but for This build I think this looks like a good floor for the second story you’ll want to use Oak planks the reason for this is so you can stack chests here three high and still be able to open the ones on the top and to finish off the inside just Place some ladders here going up to the second floor and you are all set all right guys that’s going to be it for this tutorial it’s a pretty quick build it doesn’t really require any complex materials so hopefully you can build it pretty early on in your Survival world if you enjoyed
