Insane New Redstone Features in 1.20 Update!

Minecraft’s 1.20 trails and Tails update has just been released and there’s a lot of crazy good content out there but what you might not realize is all the new features that have come to Redstone in particular so in today I’m gonna be focusing on all the new Redstone

Capabilities and features there is in Minecraft Bedrock Edition to start with the Jukebox has gotten a major overall we still have the same capabilities we had before where new blocks of course play different notes and that note changes instruments depending on the blocks underneath them but if you place

These libraries like just look at these libraries we can now build how expensive how amazing they look we can now have empty bookshelves yes we can have empty bookshelves and if you haven’t seen them yet well they’re really all over this room like even right here this is just a

Full version of this chiseled bookshelf so the nice thing about chisel bookshelves is they have six different slots where you can simply just pick out any of these books and you can pick them out wherever the cursor is because this you have whole bunch of different possibilities on the ways you want to

Arrange them how you want to decorate your room and such and when you pair them with normal bookshelves it can create this amazing effect so these things are really revolutionary to the library game but guess what there’s more than just decoration besides the fact that of course they are beautiful and

This top I mean that would just make a beautiful floor decoration wouldn’t you say so yourself you didn’t see that coming but they are better than just for decoration there are also amazing for Redstone purposes you might have guessed it since we’re able to sort out enchanted books or any other type of

Book using a chisel bookshelf with your hand you can do the exact same thing with a hopper so yes that’s pretty crazy you can do normal sorting with standard books but this is a simple easy way to sort out all your book and quills handwritten books and all your other

Detecting you and you can get rid of that sound just by water logging it that way you can’t hear it both those things are still there but the other major thing that’s been added is these things called calibrated skulk sensors now basically it’s a sculk sensor and a

Comparator put into one the reason this is useful is you can use it basically to only detect one thing if I turn one of these on as an example so basically it depending on the Reds and signal strength going into the skulk sensor that will determine whether the skull

Sensor actually activates or not so right now I have it on Place block so basically if I jump around do a bunch of stuff it won’t actually do anything but until I place a block will that actually activate and of course this you can change to other things for example if I

Want I can make it so anytime I break a block it’ll go anytime I place a block nothing happens now besides the fact this calibrated skulk sensor can of course detect only certain actions like breaking blocks it also has gotten an increased range the sculk sensors in

General they can now reach a range of all the way up to 15 blocks so if I activate the skulk sensor right here you can see moving that’s not activating that one as soon as I place and break a block that’s going to send the signal

Over there now to add to this skulk sensor can of course detect each other but there’s another way we can do this now and that is using these amethyst basically by putting these amethyst right next to it the retin signal causes the emphasis to make a little bit of a

Chime sound similar to how whenever you walk on Amethyst it creates that special chime basically by having one of these directly next to one of these sculk sensors whenever the action happens the vibrations coming from the amethyst and that will trigger another skulk sensor

And so on so you can have a chain of multiple of these going straight down a line now I do want to quickly mention here that I got a bunch of awesome signs here but let’s say for example I got a typo oh accidentally I spelled block

And of course the crawl command is amazing too but what’s even better is a thing called spectator mode you know if you got complex redstone Contraptions like this impossible item disorder that sorts all different non-stackable items you can see just coming in here oh this

1.20 has brought us it’s brought in us the cherry tree the beautiful amazing cherry tree along with bamboo wood we’ve always had bamboo we just never had a bamboo wood version this makes building chest and Hoppers so much cheaper especially if you got a bamboo farm so Redstone components have gotten quite a

Bit cheaper if you’re going to go the bamboo variant now they both have given us boats more chess boats we got the chess boat for the cherry wood and we also got the raft or chest raft for the bamboo which interesting thing about this is while they can both handle nine

Hoppers going out from each of them the the raft is actually slightly small color than the chest boat so potentially more redstone contraptions could work with the raft than the boat if you’re really limited on space but that’s still yet to be decided that’s actually useful now besides all these wonderful things

That 1.20 has brought into the Redstone community of better Rock Edition there’s a couple things that 1.20 did not bring so for 1.21 you know what they really should add to Minecraft well I’ll tell you the one thing that they have not released that they definitely need to in the next 1.21 update

In the next 1.20 update is they gotta make some way for us to put water buckets into cauldrons with a dispenser
