I got this big Cathedral build that we’re kind of still working on here and there I took a break break from for a while but in the center here we’ve got like kind of a staging area uh and then I made this and it leads down into the catacombs which are also not

Built cuz I also took a break on that but I like the entrance a lot I like Redstone doors they’re fun I’m actually kind of surprised I haven’t done more of them in this world I’ve spent you know obviously I’ve spent like 1,400 days here and yeah it’s

Uh I just haven’t really done a lot of redstone stuff other than Farms I’ve been building a ton of farms and that’s that was kind of my goal for early on is I wanted to do a lot of uh quality of life stuff just so I could get to the

My design for an auto compactor basically what you would need for Farm storage you can use it on hay bales from a wheat farm you can use it in an iron farm which is what I want to use it for and like it took me like maybe 3 hours

To figure out and I was like dude this is going to change the way I store everything cuz instead of installing a shulker loader over at my ridiculously overpowered iron farm that I made I can just compact them down into double chests and and I will turn you know nine

Ning into one block and that’s I’m so excited for that um that alone I mean I’m not including all the rest of the stuff you can do with it I’m super super stoked uh and I actually should probably check before I forget I should just go down to the bottom to where the

Don’t get nearly the amount of Freedom that you would want right like they they’ll never be cool with guns moang will never be cool with guns in Minecraft which is like fine for me like I don’t care I play vanilla I play modded that’s like fantasy based like

Materials I need a stack and a half of smooth Stone about a stack of glass uh Redstone Dust I’m good on repeaters I’m good on comparators I’m good on bricks I think that’s actually just signifying this little Forge thing we’ve got going here so I won’t even bother with that

It’s scammy too because they have Behavior packs which change things about mobs that you have to buy dude yeah that was the other thing right cuz they have like emotes and stuff for bedrock and all of that’s like pay you have to pay for it right I mean that would be super

Yet yeah we haven’t even hit the second row of chests we’re good but I’ll just take all that and we’ll just compact this guy down into uh we’ll get like three stacks of blocks and then I’ll craft like a stack of anvils I think yeah I mean honestly I can craft a bunch

Of these I’ve got plenty I’ve got I’ve got plenty yeah I don’t think I I it’s physically possible for me to run out of iron in fact where am I putting my iron blocks now I should have a partial oh wait here we go I guess I’m putting him in

Here I’m going to toss out all of those on the ground and all of that on the ground and all of that on the ground and then I’m going to throw all my stuff in this shulker box cuz I feel like I don’t want to have to come back here for a while

And it’s just easier to do this okay so now I can drop out all of those and I’ll line myself up with some of these but with the auto compactor man I’ll never have to do this again oh I actually tossed the I tossed the blocks

Out that was bad my bad stack of anils is actually crazy I can make so many stacks of anvils man this Farm is insane uh oh wait I didn’t mean to craft that crap there goes all that preparation work I just did with the blocks whatever whatever let me just do like

That and then drop out all of these again I will line that up and now I can just craft blocks yeah as you can hear the uh the iron golems come in pretty quick there should be four every 30 seconds um but they’re kind of staggered

So it’s like kind of one every I don’t know five 8 seconds craft all these guys into blocks and then I can throw those into here uh and all of those in there and I’m still I still have too much cool whatever I’ll just leave that there uh uh let’s do one two

Three four and I still don’t have any like rockets so we’re going to have to do the riptide thing again it’s kind of hard to do whenever it’s like water bucket on the ground but I think I’ll make it work if I if I offhand I just kind of like yeah that

Will work one thing that makes me mad is how if you have a stack of iron and then turn them into blocks you get one left over right yeah kind of annoying but I mean like the the way everything Stacks up is so iconic I don’t think they could actually change it

Unfortunately uh and first stop we need to make sure we got Rockets did I put them over here where’s my rocket box oh here it is okay so we got Rockets I can put rip tied away uh And oh I didn’t even grab more than one stack of anvils it’s fine I should have more than enough I I think I can only even put eight in the magazine so this is fine all right let’s grab some cyan terra cotta because that’s going to be my base block I

Probably should have edited this before I brought it into the the world like the the schematic because it’s going to be a bit of a pain cuz technically the block is going to be incorrect but uh we’ll go ahead and get started turn this guy on and

To craft those though because I don’t have a crafting table on me and then oh I forgot to left leave uh a slime block in here I bet that’s how I accidentally put the Ender Chest in here I usually try to leave at least one item

Of each of these in the slot so I can’t like accident like if I if I shift click stuff from my inventory in there I can just go all over there and that you know if if I have the item in the shulker Box it’ll go in but if it doesn’t it won’t

Technically this drops the anvils down on top of this slime block launcher which launches them back up this piston pushes them back into place here and then this one is the one that we launch all all the way up to the top here to go where this uh Observer is

Once the floor’s moved out of the way that’s kind of how that works all right and then I need to put sand here don’t be mad at me I know it is not sand or it’s not white concrete powder just relax past me is really making future me

String right here which is then observed by this Observer and then uh did I put a block there yes I did and then it sends the signal up to this guy here and then the Anvil gets it triggers The Observer and then gets pushed into

Place and this is kind of what you would consider I guess the chamber if we’re if we’re using the anatomy of a gun you know um and then this needs to be a solid block and then I should be able to just kind of do one of these numbers yep and I

Believe that is kind of everything for the bottom area except for obviously the andal themselves which I don’t think I grabbed yeah no I didn’t I didn’t grab but it’s fine we’ll we’ll load them all in whenever we’re ready to get this thing going so then we can actually go up here

Okay I can’t believe I didn’t have to gather any resources for this project either that’s kind of weird you usually have to spend at least like an hour getting stuff I’m finally getting to that point in the game where I just don’t have to go mine stuff

But I’m going to show you this counter system which is like kind of the it’s kind of like the meat of it it’s how all of this functions so how do I place this block let’s just do a temporary and then one of those and then I can place that

One off of that as well place that there place you here and there and I’ll along there and then this is the pulse extender here for another bit Ooh give me that gra oh give me the gravel I think I should be good to break everything except for those two grass blocks and then this has to go and so does that does this have to go oh it does have to go I forgot about

This oh well I guess I can just put these magma blocks back uh was there anything important here or no no there is not okay so this is just to do why is this oh it’s just a okay this is just to trigger this uh piston which is actually the thing that

Moves the one block out of the way so the that the uh the Anvil can go past pretty fancy little solution I actually spent like an hour on that I was oh God what a headache I thought I had an idea and I worked on it for so long and I was it

Here and then one more block there and I think we should be good to go so here here’s how this works basically what we have up top here is an observer uh if I’m looking at the right spot here faces up the Anvil gets damaged and each time it gets damaged it

Actually updates The Observer how in the world did they beat a underwater sea monster okay now I’m confused um The Observer updates every time the Anvil gets damaged and obviously it does One update whenever the Anvil like drops in and is placed there so each time it

Does that it actually is going to send a signal into this dropper if I can get this to place facing down and then that goes into a dropper facing up and then we just fill this with basically non-stackable items I could kind of use anything but I think

I’ve got pretty good access to shears like I’ve got plenty of iron for it the Phantom uh the fir wait how in the world did they beat an underwater Oh yeah yeah yeah I know what you’re talking about now first mob vote Yes Phantoms beat some cool Blaze guy and an underwater

Squid that drags you down yeah yeah that was a little bit sad oh I actually voted for that Phantom because I thought it was a boss I thought it was going to be like something that you fought every once in a while not something that’s spawned every single night after you

Haven’t slept for 3 days like that is just the worst implementation of a of a potentially very cool mob GH and also the drop for Phantoms is garbage like they added mending when am I ever going to need that um what did I come up here for right I need to make

Shears uh and I need to make several of them so let me just grab a bunch of iron I guess actually I only need four and then five so 5 * 2 is 10 I only need 10 of these and then some sticks I do need some

Sticks uh I think I only need a few though that should be enough so here I will kind of show you what I got going on in my brain basically um God I’ve got no space in my inventory uh we’ll go down here and then if I craft oh God I’m have

To do this one at a time because I don’t have any other space in my inventory if you put one non-stackable item in here the output for a comparator is going to go up pretty bu incrementally uh it’s not like one to one with power level for

A redstone but uh it does a pretty good job yeah I really can only do one of these at a time I just don’t have the inventory space I could place that string if I can get down there ouch that was my face okay can I get back over there now

Or uh looks like I can reach it that can go away that can go there now I kind of have a path back over there if I need to get over there uh so now I can craft two of these at a time yay okay so that’s four in total so

Basically you want to have one of these each time the Observer is going to count a thing uh and then they’ll get drop they’ll get placed into the dropper down here and that dropper will output a signal but you don’t really want it outputting a signal as soon as it gets

The first shear and there so basically what you got to do is you got to have this thing in compare mode which is just default setting and then you just run a comparator into the side of that with a signal that you want it to have and I

Think I actually fa this the other way yep so for this one to get the output that I want I want this to have an output signal of uh signal strength of five basically before it gets triggered meaning that this has to Output a signal

Strength of five as well so I go 1 2 3 4 five in there and then if I put a non-stackable item in the top slot this will output a signal strength of five it’s kind of just the cheapest way to get a high signal

Strength but yeah like if you put like a like a like a shovel or something in the bottom here this thing would output a signal strength of 15 it’s just kind of it’s kind of hard to describe exactly why uh in a concise manner but yeah so we go Redstone here here and

Then we do a little delay there actually that’s not for delay that is for the signal to strength the signal strength to reach over to here so basically after it’s triggered it’s like hey the Anvil broke it’s got the last set of shears down there in the bottom it’s going to S

Send a signal out and that signal is going to go over to here and it’s going to be like hey it’s time to move the block out of the way so that the Anvil can get shot up in the air and then this thing is like a a big pulse that cools

Down over time and so it allows this piston to be retracted for the duration of the entirety of this machine working basically that’s why I have that there uh oh God I missed let me eat some food back over here nice nailed it and it looks like I actually missed a couple blocks

Here yep I sure did okay so now that we’ve established what that circuit up there is for we can talk about this one you go back to the counters here and this same signal can actually get pulled out of the block right here and sent over to this and

Basically what this is is just like a miniature pulse extender it’s kind of like what we got over there it’s just like there’s only one comparator uh and then we use that to go out here we send the signal up to here and then this Observer starts a

A oh shoot I almost fell off the edge double piston extender which allows us to send can I get over there it allows us to send God this piston if I can get this to place and then this piston nope oh I forgot I had haste son of a

Butt okay can I make this nope the answer is no okay I made it that time though and basically what this does is it sends the uh piston upward that’s going to push the Anvil into place which goes on top of the Observer up there then we take

This guy that’s the Piston that I’m talking about basically this entire thing gets pushed up the Observer triggers the Piston to push the Anvil over and then it’s all uh placed into place placed in properly if you will but we definitely have to make sure we don’t leave these blocks behind

Because the machine will never work got to put that in place too uh place that there and that is everything there I’m pretty sure we have to get rid of some of these because they have to be immovable blocks uh I don’t know which is which

Though cuz I also filled in the the floor with glass so we just need furnaces here basically and I’m using furnaces here because it’s like the closest texture to Cobblestone and if I turn off this schematic you can see that I’m trying to use Cobblestone Mossy Cobble stuff like that so

Furnishes they’re kind of a matching texture if I was to use like obsidian or something here it would look weird so that’s purely like a design thing um and then I think I need one here I believe and then that can just kind of be whatever and then you just have to

Make sure that you have a gravity block here because whenever the the contraption gets pushed pushed up there’s no sticky block to actually pull the top block here back down with the contraption so it basically just has to use gravity to fall back down which I feel like is a pretty

Elegant solution to an otherwise pretty frustrating problem that I had I spent like a long time on all right what am I missing let’s go ahead and flip that back on and it looks like I just have to put in this system here so basically what

Happens is after all of the shears get put down into this dropper and we start outputting that signal we have to be able to reset it so we get a piston that goes here And uh I’ll do a temporary block there that’ll just make my life easier we’ll go there and then we will go oh I’m out of Observers I need this to go here yep so basically this is like a little short pulse and it uh it the Piston will hold these together and it

Creates like a little Observer clock which then triggers all this dropper on bottom to send all the shears back up to the top essentially resent resetting the counter that we were talking about before I do we need to grab some glass for that though I remember I think I have some in

This shulker box out here uh yeah I don’t know if I needed much but oh you know what that has to be a furnace and that has to be a furnace as well and that one just is faed the wrong way so is that one this can be whatever

Block I just going to I’m probably going to make it Cobblestone or something or tough what to tough and then the rest of these being incorrect which is what the red means that’s fine those were just glass blocks and then that’s empty so that also needs to be filled in along with this

Ooh we’ll just throw some Cobble in here go one there one one here one oh my goodness one there and we need something to keep the uh Anvil from flying up too high basically and I don’t know exactly what we should do here but we could probably

Honestly we could probably just take a chain and hang it down that would probably work let’s grab a couple more furnaces so we can finish off the floor there boop boop and then I just need something to go here oh what do we put there um I should have some Mossy Cobble over

Here somewhere yep bada bang oh and that’s pretty much everything covered up in here and I should only be missing these glass pieces and this I added this as a basically I wanted to have a way to reset the counter manually if I ever

Needed to so then I just have to put a block or a not a block I need a button uh and I have no stone that’ll work fly back up here ouch ouch ouch okay there’s the button oh of course there we go so now I should be able oh grass

Block should be able to do that and now I believe all of the Redstone should be in let’s just do a quick once over here I’m not seeing anything that we’re missing uh oh except for the most important part which is the magazine it’s how we hold everything so let’s

Grab this guy put that there nope not like that there we go and then we should just be able to put in the anvils and that should be it I am super happy with how this came out man I am just just so stoked let’s turn off that and see if we

Can fly through here real quick yep sure can and then we’ll grab some of these anvils we don’t even need all of them like uh okay so if I just load this guy up and then we have to have one in the chamber here uh we’ll

Do we’ll do a little glass platform for me to reload this ever I need to I mean the chances that I need to reload this thing are like super slim like I don’t need to enchant gear anymore I’m not regularly naming things in an anvil like

I guess maybe since since I Infinity I might make more bows later on but like how many bows do I need to make before I go through that many anvils like the chances are Slim in fact I crafted this stack of anvils and it was like super unnecessary it was literally no reason

For it I’ll leave that scaffolding there though that way I can get down oh and I fell nailed it but yeah I believe now we can can test it we should be good to go uh so basically I’m just going to take these three and I’m just going to do this

Manually um oh you know what we have to do before we do this because it’s kind of crucial we have to add a chain back oh my God I already had a bunch of anvils what the heck okay so chain we’ll put a chain like right here and

Then I guess maybe just another chain I don’t really know we could use like an End Rod or something something that wouldn’t connect to the fence but also kind of looks like a handle or like a rope so now the shears should be in place all of this should be good to

Go and then if I just simulate the last stage or rather the Anvil breaking by pushing this button we should get an anvil Popup I am so happy I am so yes oh it’s so [Laughter] cool I love everything about that oh that’s so cool but the problem is like now I don’t need to use it I have a whole fresh Anvil here but yeah as you can see we actually had this

Function we can go into the creative testing World we’ll check this out so we can see how this works um but basically we got so you see the magazine here it’s missing one right so they basically what they do is they drop down very briefly which turns them into falling

Blocks then the the Piston that’s behind that bottom Anvil pushes over and then this one is triggered just after which allows the Piston here to actually push that up as a falling block which then I kind of talked about this already it triggers that which is uh updates The

Observer which then pushes this one over into this place and then this one kind of does the same thing it drops and then pushes it back up in the air which launches it super high and that is how you reload anvils I am just so stoked man that’s

Awesome okay we’ll do one more we’ll do one more so there was one update right and I should be able to just do one two fresh Anvil oh but this one got damaged what’s up with that it’s falling from two blocks high I don’t know that’s what the the manual

The stopping block with a glass block right here it can kind of be whatever I’m pretty sure but yeah if we go like this we can trigger this a few times triggers the counter oh uh we can’t actually see any of it hold on let’s get rid of that

We’ll do one of these one of those and one of those oh something broke what broke oh wait did I do wait what did I do well the other one seem to be working fine I don’t know how I messed this up let’s break that and we’ll test it

One more time I want to see what happens uh but then we should have an anvil there huh very odd did the timings get messed up okay that’s a one tick that’s a two tick that’s full delay there’s an anvil on the ground for some reason oh that actually worries me we

Just built this thing in freaking survival so if I break that okay well it worked that time huh oops I don’t know what I just did man I’m confused also these should actually all be turned the other direction so that oops and then this one’s damaged as well

I don’t know what’s going on with this thing it’s fine if they’re damaged it’s not really that big of a deal I can just trigger the counter again so oh no it broke again we’re going to do One More Time Magazine triggers triggers that oh I love everything about this this is so

Cool like this is so cool and we did it right here live on stream yeah we can hop back into the hardcore world now I just I love watching this thing go you know what did it pick up the fact that it got damaged that first time around

Because I only had to trigger it twice that time or is this not fully resetting no it’s fully reset it’s got to have one Shear in the bottom here from from the Anvil landing on top but then it should have three after that because there’s three damage

Stages interesting I don’t know why it does that sometimes so there was the second one and then I should be able to press this once twice boom and that one’s damaged again there’s something weird going on with that I don’t know and then we just need

The rest of the build is considered done yeah we actually didn’t even do the windows we didn’t do any details we just did the roof last stream so we could pick up where we’re left off there but I’m going to have another stream tomorrow morning so I don’t think that that’s super necessary

I just wanted to get this thing put in I’ve been so excited about it I’ve been thinking about it all day so I uh I think I’m actually going to probably call it uh unless there was anything else I was going to do tonight I I think
