Community kind of imploded several times recently but it feels like it’s been fewer and fewer with things between but that being said I found a goodie I found a very exciting one to check out FTB which stands for Feed the Beast which if you’ll know the first time I ever played modern Minecraft was on M the clock and it was uh Feed the Beast pyramid reborn with James and Uno and it’s it’s kind of neat it’s kind of neat that that was my first experience with modded and then now God I want to say five maybe six years later we’ve come full circle and I’m taking a stab at my first ever modded expert pack but solo now there is an opportunity obviously when I do a modded thing like this uh to make a server and to get all The mods in which would have been super fun and if I had thought about this for more than this is like an idea that I turned around in like 30 hours uh I probably could have done something like that but I want to I want to dip my toes Back in see how everything goes and both of these o tree bark tree bark and bone meal so this is exciting this is interesting this is the sort of thing I can probably figure out so I’m probably At the point now where they want me to space what do you mean enter compact space Oh compact machines are the core Mechanic of this mod really they allow you to build large rooms in a single block space connected to the outside world they come in various sizes ranging by 3×3 to 13x 13 x 13 you can use tunnels to connect the outside block faces with any inside walls to transport them Interesting you can enter a compact Machine by right clicking it interesting okay okay okay fascinating yeah we learned compact machines a little bit when we did um Ocean Block with James and Uno on Moc clock which is kind of cool it’s interesting that they said That that was like one of the core mods of this not anything else that they said compact whatever that’s wild all right you know what they gave me an extra eight bone meal we’re going for it about like fulfillment and pre-ordering and then that’s just that’s just not something I want to get into we have a full-time Beach for that and even be is like this Sucks by the way haduken so that’s why we’ve never done merch before the one thing I did before years and years ago is we did a pin run which was kind of cool and even that was a lot of work that was before the pandemic and shipping prices were a lot Cheaper but yeah like buying all the pins I think we did an order of like 200 pins and getting joe to ship it all out was a lot of work yeah Joe was able to like cheat and send the pins out as letter mail bung you have your pins right now Oh that’s very Sweet those pins must have been like a year ago yeah I got bad news they’re like 2018 2019 it’s been a long Time it’s not that pins are are heavy it’s that they’re not flat and so as soon as something goes from being letter mail to parcel mail the price goes from being like maybe under a dollar to like $7 to ship and one of the big issues with Merch and with any type of shopping cart is when people see a When people’s uh shipping represents like a certain portion of the overall cart size they’re like no I’m not filling with blood who is blood you’ll then be able to use blood for further crafting recipes make sure to remove the sigil when you’re not using it anymore you’ll need one bucket Of liquid biomass suspicious to make the blood sigil if you put more than one bucket of liquid biomass in the rest it can converted into a new liquid for example 300 meab buckets of biomass to craft the sigil will get you 2,000 meab buckets of cognium potion of regeneration a Clue what in the what in the what all right I need to make a mixing cauldron which requires a cauldron cauldron which requires more iron all beehives can house Three bees has a gooey how do I make that so regular beehive turns into advanced beehive once you have a little bit of honeycomb okay so I have to make a bee home okay all right I haunting we wanted to create haunting we need to find the block looks like a fan the encased fan oh I could actually Just do this ah whatever whatever whatever we’ll get there uh but I think we’re going to leave that for another day uh I think we’re going to call it a little bit earlier today I do have another stream to do later tonight and I am still fighting off a cold I think With the bees set up we have a pretty nice a pretty nice point to call it for today this mod pack is a lot but I feel like we’ve gotten okay progress so far today like we’re halfway through the first mod we’ve got our toes dipped in create We’ve got our toes dipped in blood magic we’ve got our toes dipped in so many different things right now and the biggest challenge this mod pack so far has been trying to stick to a lane and it’s kind of neat how the path that they’ve getting us to go is weaving Through all these different mods but yeah uh we might have to expand this island sometime soon too cuz we are running out of space but uh our to-do list definitely want to improve our mob farm definitely want to scale up our bees and we definitely want to scale up our cob Our Cobble automation is like the
