Hey what’s up youtube in this video i’ll be showing you how to make your very own wooden house i’ve also designed the inside for you which you can see at the end of the video here are all of the materials that we need to make our house Please to make sure that you have access to all those materials and enough of them as well and now that we have all of our stuff we can get started so the first thing that we have to do in making our house is begin with a row of 13 oak Planks extending up from the ground so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13. we then want to extend that 13th block to the right by seven one two three four five six seven we then want to extend that seventh block also back by seven One two three four five six seven perfect so what we can now do is extend the seventh block across we can join it back to where we very first started we can extend all of the corners down and then that will give us the general shape of the house So once we have the general shape of the house we can look at adding some details and filling it in a little bit so we just have this final corner to extend down i really wish that i would have extended it from the ground i probably would have Been done by now but regardless this is what we want to have and now that we’ve done this we are also going to add the roof shape which is quite easy on the front and the back of the house take the long row of oak planks and simply shrink the long row of Oak planks one row at a time like this left to right to create a pyramid shape you want to do this on the front you want to do this on the back and the end result will be this we’re now going to use spruce stairs spruce stairs are going to be the roof The roof sits directly on the sides of the pyramid shape that we have made the spruce stairs want to come all the way up to the top they will hit a high point and then we want to work our way back down this particular roof is what i call Like a double top meaning that is basically just two back to back stairs rather than just the singular top that one might have so eventually we will have this very basic shape here and you guys know what to do we overhang the roof by one row on the Front and the back anywhere that the roof would wouldn’t naturally overhang i’m not doing a very good job wherever the roof would naturally overhang we make sure that it overhangs and then we place the upside down stairs underneath just like this until we get this effect right here which looks Fantastic as a matter of fact i don’t think that there is a roof that goes together more easily than when you have two back-to-back stairs at the top of the roof everything just seems to go nice and smoothly especially when using stairs if you use slabs and stuff then there’s always some Sort of complication but this is absolutely classic so now that we have placed all of the stairs what i’m going to recommend doing quite honestly is filling in the entire area with planks the front the back the sides fill it all in with planks are there details on the house yes Are we going to destroy into the planks to make those details absolutely i think that that would be a little bit easier because we have a lot of glass to place and we have doors and such i think it’d just be easier to work from a blank canvas so We will slowly but surely fill all of these in there’s not that many details on the sides of the build anyway um the signs of the build are primarily used for getting up and down the house there’s no internal staircase as you may have seen At the start of the video the house has two staircases one on the right side the builder one on the left side the build that is how you get to the second and third floors so we don’t need an internal staircase and because we have the external staircases We don’t need huge amounts of detail on the sides of the build the front of the build has a good amount of detail and the back of the build has probably the least amount but there is still some windows which correspond to the ones that we have on the front so it’s Actually quite nicely detailed especially for how simple things are with this build so we want to have something which should look like that which is basically a very very basic looking house but it’s kind of been stretched a little bit so what we then Want to do is on the front side of your house place three rows of oak planks extending from the bottom of the house so one two three like this on the side we want two rows one two kind of like this so this is going to be our source of porch decking Area on the front of the house now that we have the decking this is kind of like the bottom left hand corner of the house we want to move one block right destroy this block and two above leave a gap of one and destroy a row Three one two three gap of one destroy row three one two three just like this i want you to place a spruce door in the bottom gaps of the lower two holes i then want you to place glass above the doors and then where we have the third Hole that we have above the two door sections i just want you to place glass in there i’d recommend block because we specifically have to use block where we have the doors something else that we have to do is where we have this row in between the Doors we want to have two rows of oak planks that extend outwards like this in addition to that we want to come up a little bit and we want to have Leaving a gap of one between like we’re still in this row here okay in between the glass and the other glass we want to leave an entire gap of one between this between the glass area and we want to place two rows of oak planks like so If that makes sense we’re just marking out where the balcony areas are going to be and when it comes to the balconies again we’re going to come to the left side here and we want to be able to extend two rows of oak planks extending outwards and then we’re just going to Leave it at that and we’re gonna have the same thing on the right side as well we’re just gonna have two rows extended like this because we actually have to figure out a few different things before we can add more rows of oak planks but let’s talk about windows So there are three windows on the house or at least three notable windows they are one row away from the s from the door slash glass parts that we have going running up through the house so leave a gap of one between the door and I want you to place a vertical row of spruce planks that extends all the way up through the build that goes from the bottom and lines up with the glass that we have above i then want you to destroy three rows to the right of this So the entire road that you destroyed i want you to destroy three rows to the right of it like so so that opens up the house quite a lot and as i mentioned we want a row of spruce planks so all the way up through the left side row of spruce and All the way up through the right side we also want a row of spruce as well so just like this you can place whatever you like at the bottom in between the blocks i’m going to go for oak planks just for a little bit of a contrast like this You can use any kind of glass now so you can use your glass block or glass pane will look a little bit better i’m going to get rid of the glass block in the door for a second and i’m gonna grab glass pane grass block we don’t need spruce fence For a little bit so i’m also going to grab the spruce trap doors okay so when it comes to the windows i’m going to place glass inside of the empty spaces of course in every single one of them that’ll be a little two by two square of glass I’m going to place grass or dirt underneath each of the windows in front of those oak planks i’m going to place upside down spruce stairs left and right of the grass block so like this extending outwards just like so And then i’m going to place spruce trap doors in front of the grass blocks That looks great we’re then going to place oak fence on top of these spruce stairs in front of the windows like this when it comes to the top window the fence don’t really connect in a nice way so we’re just going to lay the top of the fence with spruce trap doors We now are going to use any kind of flower i’m going to use white tulips because they’re very neutral and they contrast nicely in the grass and that is really going to add a good amount of detail to the house the next thing that we have to do is we Have to figure out the staircase system the staircase system is rather simple though if you come to the bottom right hand corner of the house which is here move to the right one block in front and place an ascending row of spruce stairs that extend up and back like this It should end up being a row of one two three four and then you want to create a little platform using a two by two square of spruce planks and then you want to make a 2 by 3 hole in the side of the house we can then use glass block And spruce doors you guys can imagine where the doors go and the glass block above then we have a staircase that is how we get from the first floor and by the way place upside down spruce wood stairs underneath the uh stairs are just hanging off the build And that is how we get to the second floor the same can be said for the third floor if we come up to the next platform which is here and we start one row in front of the house so this is the corner of the house So in front to the left we place a double staircase a double wide staircase leading up until it is even and level with the balcony that corresponds with the inside the house in between the glass separation and then we place the two by two square of spruce planks destroy a two By three gap doors in there glass in there place upside down spruce wood stairs underneath the overhanging or it’s not quite overhanging but they are hanging off the house then you can see how we would get to every single level of the house on the right side of the house the third And final platform i will call it i want to extend the oak planks backwards until they line up with the doors that we have below and then to get onto the balcony we will have a doorway that is equal and opposite to the one that we placed on The opposite side so now you can see how this house got put together so what do we do from here we just have some details to add i want to first of all take care of the back of the house so i will admit that this is a little bit tricky because You’ve kind of got to do a little bit of fishing i’m going to grab glass pane for this i’m going to knock into the back of the house a little bit until i can see where the windows are on the front of the house i’ve located this two by two Square of glass and i can see where it lines up i want to have the same thing on the back of the house so i want the same two by two square of glass pane uh that we have on the front of the house on the back They’re separated by two rows so if you leave a gap of two and then place another two by two square leave a gap of two and then place another two by two square then we will be able to have a nice set of windows extending up the house like this Not only do i want that though i also want the triple set of windows that you can see over there if we leave a gap of two between each window a gap of two and then place simply just two blocks so like leave a gap of two and then just Have a single wide window and destroy one block underneath it and then you just leave a gap of one extending all the way down the build then oh my bad then we will have the exact same pattern that we have on the front of the house another thing to consider is to add Hanging um hand at to add hanging like flowers um um you can add some details in that sort of way um you could even make the windows a little bit uh you could even even them out if you like there’s a few different ways that you can tackle it so You can have elongate the windows you can have flower boxes on the outside it’s kind of up to you how you want to deal with it i quite like it like that but another option would be too and this is completely up to you you know Decorate how you like would be to grab the spruce stairs grass block spruce trap door i believe that we use the oak fence and we have the flowers and you could emulate what we have on the front of the house so that would be again i would have to Swap out that bottom layer of paint that we just added but you guys can imagine what this would look like right so we have the grass area exactly in the same place that we have on the front and again you’d have to get rid of the glass because that It’d look a little bit silly on the inside but if you use spruce trap doors underneath and on the sides and finally this would be the last one and this might be the best option um quite honestly we’ll have to see the thing is the stairs aren’t really go or the Rather the oak fence isn’t going to connect in kind of like a satisfactory way um but you there’s no reason that you have to actually use um actually have to even use the fence so i mean that that doesn’t look too bad at all and you could even copy what you Have on the front so you could have the fence riding up the final window and you can have the um trap doors on these sides so depending upon how you want to do it i mean you could have that you could just have the window you could have um just copy the Panes you could elongate them i mean there’s a few different things so whichever that happens to be your favorite that’s what i’d recommend doing but now that we’ve done that now that we have done the back of the house we have a good amount of detail to add to these Sides the platforms look a little bit scruffy at the moment and to make them not so scruffy spruce with blanks spruce slabs oak trap doors or rather oak stairs i hope we don’t even have oak trap doors um spruce fence um maybe even some lanterns later on we’ll need grass block hoe Seeds and some oak leaves and what can we do so let’s start at the bottom and work our way up we’ll wind our way up so so we’ll begin by destroying this end row of oak planks and we’ll replace it with spruce we want to make sure that the spruce plank Overhangs the oak plank row by one place two oakwood stairs extending to the right place a spruce wool plank right of that and then place a row of spruce wood slabs on the side of the oak wood planks stick a spruce wood plank on the end and then place spruce wood slabs extending Backwards all the way back you can flare that last spruce wood slab into a plank destroy these two opal planks and place spruce slabs in there instead i would recommend turning this area here into a little impromptu farm so we can turn all of this into like Seeds of any kind i’m using beetroot’s beet root seed because they’re colorful i said beat rod and um if you want you can even create an entrance underneath here so that you can get to them more easily you could add stairs back here if you wanted to access it like that you Could add simply a window there’s many things that you can do so again i like to give you guys options i i like i like that you guys can just customize it in any sort of way that you like um but i’m quite happy with that sort of effect There what would i recommend beyond this i’d recommend placing um spruce planks on each of the corner um parts of the decking that we just created place a little bit of spruce wood fence in between spruce wood because i i don’t know why i don’t want it to contrast i Don’t really like the oak fence because we have used it for the windows i don’t want it to kind of like blend in together i’m quite happy with how that looks and then what else can we do well we have to take care of the platform up Here so we can add a little bit of spruce wood slabs around the top of this platform it wants to go all the way around the oak planks all the way back here and then we’re going to stick a sprucing plank on the end spruce wood fence all the way around it Like so There we go that is that’s looking pretty good and then we can do the same thing up top here as well so if you just stick some spruce wood slabs all the way around like this All the way around the oak planks and then we can just place spruce fence all the way around this so this connects in a much more natural way than it does down below like we don’t have to add the plank blocks and that’s it ladies and gentlemen i Mean quite honestly if you want to add some lanterns to decorate the build light up a bit so perhaps where the main entrance is so people know that that’s where you’ve got to go maybe on like the corner of this balcony and have it on the opposite corner of the above balcony Kind of like this that looks quite good um you could even have a lantern perhaps over here um but other than that i mean we have we we’ve kind of done this thing and it’s a pretty cool build quite honestly you could even keep going you could Extend this up as high as you possibly wanted it’s almost a repeatable build you could have 50 floors if you wanted to until you hit the hit the world limit but i’m going to go away i’m going to decorate the inside for you a little bit it’s not an Impressive looking inside but it will give you a bit of an idea of how you may want to decorate it and i’ll be back once that’s done so this is what your house will look like once it’s been 100 fully completed i actually made a couple Of changes to the structure that you may also like to make so for instance i added windows on the left side of the house that i didn’t think that i wanted previously they line up with the doorway that we have up at the top of the build And they’re cascade down with a block in between them i also had added a hedge on the left side the build it kind of snakes around in kind of like a 90 degree angle and it stops as we get to the little outdoor farm that we have and That’s pretty much the entire changes so just some windows and a hedge really does improve things a little bit and as we head inside the ground floor i have chosen to have just kind of as a mass crafting area i actually really like how it’s panned out like it feels nice and Busy but it also feels as though you can actually get to everything without it being a bit too stuffy as well i also like how light it is in here and that is when i figured out that i wanted these windows so sorry that they weren’t in The actual tutorial necessarily but i i really did like i liked them when i added them so um coming up to the next floor the second floor we have a bit of an enchantment library so just loads and loads of bookshelves a bit more storage enchantment we have a set of army here And once again i just felt as though something was missing on this side the wall so i added that window um if we head all the way up to the final story of the house then this is where we have all the remaining things we have all of Our sort of smelting implements all of our furnaces we have our beds we have a lot more storage and that is quite honestly pretty much that except for of course we have this wonderful balcony that
