if you’ve played Minecraft for at least
5 minutes you probably know just how
terrible the progression is you get some
wood some stone tools get some iron do
all that basic stuff make a house get
some food find some diamonds go to the
nether then after really just a couple
hours of game play get to the end and
kill the Ender Dragon then what for a
lot of players it feels like after you
beat the Ender Dragon the game just kind
of ends it’s not really over really
nothing has changed except you beat the
main boss and you know it’s a Sandbox
game in fact beating the Ender Dragons
actually opens up more opportunities to
do things since after you beat the
dragon you can explore the outer end
Islands uh and get an elytra which makes
the game much easier and helps you do
just about everything despite this the
game just kind of seems to end I think
the main reason for this is before you
beat the Ender Dragon one of the main
goals or things you want to achieve the
game in the game is to beat the Ender
Dragon after you do that the game just
kind of you know lets you do your your
own thing this has personally happened
to me many many times and it actually
happened very recently uh and uh I had a
hardcore world that I made just about a
couple months ago you know I was
thriving I was playing it quite a lot I
was making you know some good progress
doing a whole bunch of good stuff I had
really good gear some cool Farms a nice
base got today 100 and was overall very
active on the world however after I beat
the Ender Dragon and got the elytra it
just personally for me felt like there
wasn’t much to do even though I could do
everything I wanted I didn’t really want
to do anything for the next few weeks I
just kind of flew around every once in a
while whenever I got on sold some crops
to some villagers and they just left
after like 10 minutes but how do we fix
this problem Minecraft progression will
probably never get much better in
vanilla Minecraft but that doesn’t mean
there’s not any solutions to the problem
there are numerous ways to get around
the problem Minecraft absolutely
horrendous garbage dumpster fire
progression one of my personal fav faes
being mods there’s so many mods out
there you can change pretty much every
aspect of the game and you can change it
to be pretty much exactly however you
want it to be whether that’s just making
the game more challenging adding a whole
bunch of new Mobs or a bunch of random
items and things to play around with I
haven’t played it a whole lot recently
but one of the mod packs that I really
like is rlcraft rlcraft changes
basically every aspect of the game just
making it much harder in every single
way there’s a bunch of different crazy
mobs that you need to deal with a bunch
of different crazy cool looking
structures and even just little things
to make the game a little bit more
challenging like a thirst in temperature
bar another thing I’ve done recently is
I went on curse Forge made a new mod
pack and just put a whole bunch of
different cool scary mods in it just to
make the game a little bit more
challenging and scary a couple mods I’ve
added are Herobrine mod a cave dweller
mod uh and then these just random eyes
that will stare at you during the night
and if you don’t get rid of them or if
you don’t hit them or something
something they’ll just jump scare you
these are just a couple of the different
things you can do with mods and you know
there are hundreds and thousands of mods
out there make a mod pack throw a whole
bunch of different mods in it and big
mod packs like rlcraft completely change
the progression of Minecraft and what to
do so that’s really nice one of the main
things I’ve been noticing is how much
harder it is to get basic things in
rlcraft for example if you want to get
wood there’s a whole there’s a whole
process you need to do to get wood you
might actually might want to get get a
paper and a pencil and write this down
uh you need to get some Flint hit on a
rock to get flint shards get some sticks
from leaves turn those into a flint
Hatchet uh oh wait no no wait I’m wrong
never mind after you get the sticks from
leaves you make them into a flint knife
that’s right and then you need to get a
whole bunch of grass break a whole bunch
of grass to get grass fiber you can turn
that into string and then from there you
can make a flint Hatchet I think I think
that’s how it works I don’t really
remember there’s a lot of steps but yeah
you know mods are a great way to change
the experience and most importantly the
progression and just about everything in
the game I found a Reddit post talking
about how to fix Minecraft’s progression
and somebody said something that I
completely agree with they said the game
is only short if you make it short if
you take the time to do things building
a starter house instead of just digging
a hole in the ground taking time to
organize your storage instead of just
throwing everything around exploring for
materials for things you want to build
Etc the game moves as fast as you want
it to I completely agree with this
person in the statement that they made
instead of just quickly getting through
the game and trying to beat the ender
dragon as quick as you can like a
speedrunner just you know take it slow
it’s just survival Minecraft you have
plenty of time to beat the Ender Dragon
take the time to make a nice base uh
explore build some cool farms and just
you know take the game slow and I think
that’ll definitely help you improve the
uh progression of the game another way
to improve Minecraft progression is just
to add a challenge to the game a lot of
people feel like you can just get very
overpowered very quickly which is
extremely true if you’re using things
like villagers you know maybe next time
you play on a Minecraft world don’t use
any villagers and try and get all your
diamond gear and enchants on your own
instead of just you know getting them
extremely quick like 2 hours after you
spawn from villager then from villagers
anyways uh yeah that’s about it hope you
all enjoyed if you did please make sure
to like And subscribe I very much
appreciate that God loves you all and uh
yeah see you
