Insane trick to get Minecraft Forge + Biomes O’ Plenty

Hey what’s up everybody welcome back to another video and today i will be showing you how to make minecraft moddable and it is very simple so let’s just get straight into it so first thing what you’re going to want to do is open any browser you want um like google and then go

To minecraft forge forge basically just makes minecraft moddable and it will be in the link in the description so just click on the link in the description of this video and then once you click on it it will bring you directly to this site uh files.minecraftforge.net and then so this is very important

So you gotta figure out what um version of minecraft you want to mod so for this video tutorial i will just be downloading 1.17.1 but say if you wanted to download 1.12.2 so you can mod 1.12.2 all you all you would click is just 1.12 and then

1.12.2 and then there you have it so but for this video we’re going to do 1.17 so just click 1.17.1 and then click install under the download latest click install and then once it brings you to this add focus do not click anything all you want

To do is wait five seconds and then click skip okay and then it will download and then once it downloads it will say file type can harm a type of file can harm your computer and i promise you this is safe the only reason it says that is because

It’s a dot jar file see right there and if it says forge um and whatever version you want it to be and then dot jar it is safe so all you click is these three dots and then click keep okay and then you can close your file browser okay

So just close it and then you open your downloads let’s go here and then downloads and then once you are in downloads all you want to do is click so you see this forge right here just drag it to your desktop so now once you’ve done all of that you should have

Forge and then the version you wanted forge to be and then installer.jar okay once you have that you’re going to want to double click well you actually want to right click the icon and then once you right click the icon this um menu will pop up and then just click open

That’s all you want to do and then all you do is just wait for it to open so it should open right up and then once it opens you should see forge and then uh welcome to simple forge installer forge 1.7.1 and then it should um Okay so it should say install client install server or extract all you want to do is just click install client and then click ok and then what it’s going to do is bring up this and it is installing so if you just wait for this to finish

Uh it might take a minute but it shouldn’t take too long so there we go and once it’s finished it should say complete and then successfully installed client um profile forge for okay and then click ok and then you have installed forge so what you want to do is um open the

Minecraft launcher and then once you are on the minecraft launcher right here um you should if if it doesn’t pop up here and say forge 1.17.1 all you want to do is click installations new installation um and then for versions right here all you want to do

Is um once you click it it should say release and then 1.17.1 and then forge but if it’s not there try just looking for it when you scroll down so but all you want to do is just click right here release um and then the version you picked and then one point

And then forge so then after all of that is done all you do is just write here at name just name it whatever you want but since this is a tutorial i’ll just name it test and then once you have done that you can click create and then it will

And then it will close that and then just scroll all the way down to the bottom here and then where it says test click play and then once it says that uh you’re about to a java edition installation that has been modified just click i understand

The risk don’t warn me again about this installation and then click play and then once you do that it will start loading up and it might take a minute or two but it should not take too long okay so once it is finished it should just close by itself

And then once it closes it’s just launching minecraft so just wait for it okay so once it has opened it should look like this and then once it’s like this if it’s like tiny like this all you do is click options video settings oops hold on uh music there we go

And then let me just turn the volume down okay so once it’s like this and it’s tiny well if it’s tiny and you want to fix that all you do is click options video settings and then do scroll down and then click full screen and then it should turn on and then

Click done okay so once you have done that you have installed forge and then you should notice something new it says mods right here and then this shows you all the mods right here you will have none so if you just installed it so now what

You want to do is click quit game okay so once you have quit the game to install a mod so what i will be showing you is now how to install a mod into it so first what you want to do is click open the minecraft launcher again where it says

Okay right here and then it should say tat uh the forge or whatever you named it and then 1.17.1 or whatever version you wanted to download and then forge okay so once you have done that you will want to do is come down to where it says type here to search

And then type percent app data percent and then click enter and then it will bring up this where it says dot minecraft and if you don’t see that right away just scroll down until you find it so double click that and then what you want to do now is right click click new

Folder and then name this whatever you want just something that you can remember for later on in this video okay so i already created a folder so i’m just gonna delete this one so i already did it though um mine is named test so right here vid test so what you want

To do once you clicked once you typed in the person app data you want to click dot minecraft open that up and then right click on this empty spot on the right and then click new folder and then you will want to name that whatever you want

Just so you can remember it in the future so once you have done that and you have the folder so just remember where that is right here vidtest um and then open that up okay and then once you have it all you have to do is just click the stop minecraft at the

Top and then just minimize this window okay once you have done that click installations on the minecraft launcher and then see right here where it says uh whatever you named it and then 1.17.1 and then forge all you want to do is click these three dots click edit and then game directory

Click browse and then it will open up this window scroll down until you see dot minecraft click this arrow it will drop down to this and then find that folder you just created so i named it vid test so we are going to find it right here vid test

And what just find the folder you what find the folder you just created um and then just click on it and then click open and then you will see the directory and then your folder right here so now once you have done that just click save okay so once you have done that

Click play and then what we are doing is just moving the forge over over to that folder so you can install your mods into that folder so minecraft will open up like usual okay once minecraft has opened up you can just quick you can just click options and then

You can click video settings and then full screen okay and then click done done and then quit game so now you are ready to actually install the mods into minecraft so open the folder uh the percent app data percent folder we just made and then you click on minecraft and then find

That folder you made a couple minutes ago right here and then once you open that up there you go you see you should see mods and all this other stuff so what you do is download a mod and i will show you my two favorite websites to download mods

From the first one right here is cursedforge.com i will leave it in a link in the description of the video so just click that and then you can download any mods from here all you want to do is click mods and then click all versions and click

Whatever version you have or you want to download a mod for so since we are going to be doing 1.17.1 that’s what we will be doing so now it will load up and then you will see all the mods and there are a lot of mods on here so

Let’s just pick a mod we want to download so right here biome so plenty this one adds 50 unique biomes to enhance your world with new trees flowers and more so all you do is click on it and then you should always like just look through the description

To make sure it doesn’t have any other requirements so yeah and then once you have read that and made sure you have downloaded all the requirements just click file right here files and then scroll all the way down to where you see recent files right here

And then click the first version you see well that is your version you want to download for so right here 1.17.1 we are just going to hit this download button okay and then it will say your download will begin in a couple of seconds so then right here it will say it will

Be downloading and then it says why i’m so plenty and then it still says because this type um this type of file can harm your computer it’s just because it’s a jar file it is completely safe i have been downloading from this website for a couple years so

It is okay click these three dots and then click keep so now what you want to do um is close out of this browser since you have your mod but first i will show you this other um website you can download mods from so it is um planetminecraft.com

It is a good site i don’t think it is as good as um as minecraft 4 not minecraft forge cursed forge that we just downloaded from but it still is good and it still has quite a few good mods but just whenever you’re downloading from here some of the downloads will bring you

To um bitly files and adfly files so just be careful when you’re downloading from this website but if you’re just careful you can easily download from this website but if you use the cursed forge um website we just downloaded from you will be 100 okay um so now what you want to do

Is open your downloads so right here all you do is bring this over to the side and then open your minecraft folder where it says mods and then all this other stuff and all you do is double click this mods folder open it up once you have opened the mods folder up in

So all you do is double click this mods folder to open it up and then drag your um mod that you just downloaded just drag it into the mods folder right there and then just click this button right here to um just like not really restarting the file just

Setting everything in its place and then all you want to do you can close it minimize it we’re just going to minimize it so now all you want to do is just open minecraft and then run minecraft forge so i will be back when it has opened minecraft has just opened up so

Once you have done that all you need to do is click mods right here and then you should see your mod so once you do that you can click done and then all you want to do is just create a world and then play the game and you have your mod so

There you go so that is basically the end of the tutorial but um i will just show you this mod right now that we just installed i’ll just do creative but if you are installing biomes with plenty or any biomod all you want to do is go to more world

Options and then right here world type biomes oh plenty right here you just want to make sure that is world type and then it says i am so plenty and then click create world and then once we are done it will say worlds using experimental settings just click proceed and then your world

Will load like normal and yeah you basically have whatever mod you downloaded and you can mod minecraft so yeah you can leave this video and go download mods but right now i will just show y’all the mod we just downloaded so we just downloaded biomes of plenty so

We this mod adds just a whole bunch of different biomes so it said it added 50 plus different biomes so yeah this is a new biome right here let’s see let’s just crank the render distance up so we can see it let’s go to 20. there we go

And then yeah if you use this mod the more exploring you do the more biomes you’ll find so yeah this is obviously a new biome that is not in just regular minecraft and yeah so now you are free to download whatever mod you want for minecraft so yeah um
