Hello my name is hector and in today’s build tutorial we’re going to learn how to build this lovely suburban house so let’s get straight into it the dimensions of this build are 22 by 16 and then 12 blocks high and this is the main materials list of the build okay So to start off with i’ve kind of marked off some uh some spaces here so this is where the door is going to be okay so i start every kind of pillar of of the granite the polish granite with two slabs like that so you want to have four in between there then You come out by two like that then across by one two three four five in the middle and then one there and then same again one two three four okay just four there and then five here one two three four five there we go like that then if you come back to here And this is six i believe one two three four five six there we go and then one two three four five six seven eight nine there okay now i am counting the gaps in the middle so just be aware of that then one two three four five six seven eight And another one and then one two three four five and then this one at the back here that should be a gap of 20 if i am correct now get your polish granite out and then go up one two three four or five on that one What one two three four five on that one and then this one here one two three four five as well okay the rest of them all the rest of them you go up one two three four five six seven okay so the rest of them go up by Seven so pause the video go ahead and do that and then once you’re done with that you should get something that looks a little bit like this looks a little bit odd but that’s fine and you want to get some bricks now now i’m just going to Fill everything in like this and then we can start adding the doors and windows so what you want to do to begin with is just fill up the bricks to the lowest one okay so if it’s near when that’s lower you fill up to there if it’s near to one that’s higher so This one that gets filled up all the way same here this one will only get filled up to this height here and just leave the bit on the garage um for now because the garage is a little bit different and we’re going to kind of go in there so i’ll do that afterwards But fill up the walls and when you’re done with that you should get something like this now you don’t have to but as you can see on here i’ve kind of what i’ve done is i’ve put a kind of row of double brick slabs um on the bottom edge this is kind of Optional um i quite like it kind of oh it makes the uh makes the build look like it has kind of a foundation to the house so if you want to do that go ahead and do that okay let’s move on to the roof now we start let’s start with this one here The roof over the garage and come out like that and then we do the old standard kind of back and forth okay very simple and you want to kind of do the same on this side so you want to meet up in the middle like that and then you want to do the Same on this side here and then last bit there just like that okay so those are those two then we come to the side i’m going to do the same so this one starts just here so just one out from the polished one and this one we do the same Put one there then knock it out okay so exactly the same and then you want to do the exact same thing on that side as well so you should have another two triangle shaped roots and when you’re done that you should have something like this now i just you can leave them like That you can totally leave them like that but in my research in uh kind of looking at pictures of suburban houses i found that a lot of them had like a kind of triangle shape at the top so i kind of tried to replicate that by adding some more um Uh a pillow quartz block and just like that so if you like you can add that i quite like it it’s a little bit different it kind of makes the build stand out a little bit more than usual but you can always add that now we come to doing the roof now ruse Are quite hard to do in survival they’re even quite hard to do in creative one thing that i find helps well a couple of things is we’re just gonna mark out so take a stone slab or whatever roof material you’re using you can of course change any of the materials in this Build and instead of brick you could use a lot of colored stained clay that works really nice um you could just use oak or dark oak for the trim if you wish you have lots of options you don’t have to do exactly what i have Um but if we mark out where all the roof bits meet like this i find it kind of helps us kind of give the shape of the roof and kind of gives us something to aim for so there we go so kind of know where all of that and kind of comes up Like that so now basically what we do is we just have to go along and this is the kind of boring task um of of this build and here we just go into there which is quite nice and easy very simple and as you can see here oh This bit here is the the trickiest bit uh but i’ll do a little bit with you on camera just so you can kind of see how this works um come on there we go and there we go so that just kind of wraps around like that like that so basically Go all the way along and do all of it now and it’s going to take a while here again you’re going to see that this bit here kind of just comes under here and then from here it just kind of it just kind of wraps around over the actual um Over the first bit okay so those are the kind of trickiest bits everything else is pretty simple you get the same thing happening here and in fact that one you can see actually connects there which is quite nice and there we go so that is that bit but the Rest is very simple so go ahead and connect all of that up and when you’re done when you’re finally done you should get something like this okay so let’s do the garage now uh so let’s start off with two pillars like this there we go and then we can bring We can bring one over all the way like that there we go so that should come along uh that side that that should come along that stair there okay now what you want to do is uh put some upside down stairs along the top like that And now just put any block kind of a few blocks like that and then just bring a uh quartz pillar block like that and then leave leave that one there okay and i’ll show you why in a second like that and you want to put one at each end Like that and i use uh like great well no just gray stained glass there just to make like a window in the garage door i think that looks quite nice i think it looks a little bit different so if you want to do that that’s how you do that And of course you can finish that off with a just a a normal button like that right in the center and that just really quite finishes it off now the front door uh very simple i knock those out i put some kind of polished undersides kind of really up to you Knock these out as well actually and put upside down stairs there like that and i use jungle doors i i don’t often use jungle doors but i think that they work well with this build because they kind of work well with the polished um polished granite and then i get some stairs here Just on this bit actually oh and i forgot to do this row here there we go let’s do that quickly there just into that i just use uh four upside down stairs quartz stairs like that just to finish off that section now when it comes to windows i Kind of i kind of chopped and changed um so to begin with uh can i knock these out like that i do two kind of single kind of column ones and then i put um a quartz upside down stair like that and then just fill that in Quite simple but that’s how i do all of the stairs so and all of the windows sorry so on this side i actually i actually do a double one i like that uh so there we go and windows you can add pretty much kind of depends on where what and what You want to do on the inside really and i kind of sometimes add windows the last thing or i kind of often change them depending on what i kind of put on the inside but if you want to do exactly what i’ve done uh then here we kind of come up with a Little kind of just a little kind of a roof porch type thing uh over that bit and then here we kind of knock all these out like that there we go uh i put some more quartz stairs there and i use i mean let’s put that there and that there Some stairs on the top here like that add some glass panes whichever glass i always use stained glass because i think it looks nicer but you don’t have to if you’re on um you know the pocket edition or windows 10 you can of course use normal glass that will Still look pretty good and white glass as well is quite nice on black i i like those but there you go that’s that side on this side i do something fairly similar fairly similar let’s just fill this out a little bit like that uh how big shall we make it i think I think we’ll make it one more like that and then we have on this side oh let’s just knock that out there we go like that same kind of thing uh but on here i put the opposite so rather than like a little roof I put some of that and then of course we can add the panes in again the panes which are really quite a pain to actually place and then i add trapdoors for window shutters now if you don’t like these which is fair enough you could also I think use acacia doors but the only thing is they will only work if you’ve got a block and to place it on so like that and like that i think those work quite nicely as window shutters so try that if you want and then as you can see i’ve Kind of gone along and done the same kind of thing so here on the side i’ve made the windows a little bit bigger i’ve also put one on the back here this is quite plain i’ve only got a few windows on the back side here i’ve got nothing but i’ll show you Why in in a moment and then here just the same as the other side but let’s take a look inside and see what i’ve done and see the space it’s quite quite a lot of space so around here i’ve made a little kitchen uh nice and nice and easy i’ll pause it Here so if you do want to copy it you can do and very kind of simple put a lot of paintings around paintings really help kind of make the uh make the place look nice a little kitchen kind of thing uh i put a hopper there just facing down Into a sea lantern with some glass panes on there just to make that look nice um just some fences with some carpet on the top there and just right in front of the stairs i’ve put i’m right in front of the doors i’ve put a staircase leading up to the Second floor so if you kind of want to copy that again uh just pause the video here you should be able to copy that quite easily and then around here i’ve put another wall in and to go to the to go to the garage so you can see this Is where the wall is quite a nice little other space and then here i’ve added a fireplace just because i thought that would look nice and homey so again if you do want to copy that just pause the video here it’s quite quite simple you should be able to kind Of just be able to copy that and see the dimensions and one thing to note that if you are going to build this uh you do want to surround the fire so i’ve put another block just up there that means that and the fire is completely kind of Uh surrounded by brick which is very very important otherwise you will set stuff on fire so just nicely kind of you know decorating um the the kind of house so up here and you’ve got a lot of space up here and inside of course i’ve kind of Um otherwise if you don’t do that you have that which you could leave and but i always like to add the upside down stairs make it look a little bit nicer i’ve added a bedroom up here some carpet and a little banister which i think looks quite nice And some chests now of course you could add a bathroom you could add a big storage kind of unit it’s all very much up to you um just in case just in case you do want to know uh people always ask me how um i do that it’s very simple You add a torch then you add the item frame right behind and you can even in fact add something else just to like put a torch holder into the item frame as well so nice and simple there um but that’s pretty much it i hope you’ve enjoyed this how to build a suburban House hope you’ve got some ideas um if you build it let me know send me a picture i’d love to see it and if there’s anything else you’d like to see me do a tutorial and then let me know in the comments below likewise if you have Enjoyed it i like or comment is always very much appreciated i’ve been actor
