What’s up my name is technobe here for troubleshoot and welcome back to another video this video is going to be a bit different it’s not going to be much of a tech help guide but rather just a highlight of a couple of shade packs that i really like that don’t have too Much of a performance impact on my computer this video is going to target those with lower end computers if you want to get shaders to make minecraft look just a little bit better without subtracting too much from the vanilla experience and of course without killing your pc completely these shader packs Are rather compact and designed for lower end computers so they shouldn’t have too much of an impact me on a much higher end pc i prefer high fps so i end up using these shader packs anyways i’ll tell you my favorite at the end of this video obviously you’ll need optifine Installed and practically any version of minecraft even though some of these shader packs say 1.16 and things like that they do work for 1.19 and above in the future even so don’t worry too much about versions and incompatibilities as long as optifine is up to date or whatever you’re using for shader packs Things should work pretty well anyways over here i have a simple little test house with a couple of lights inside of it nothing too fancy but it’s definitely something to show what fps and things you can expect with different shader packs and of course it’s nighttime so You’ll be able to see different lights if i hit f3 over here you can see that i’m currently sitting at 60 70ish fps i haven’t gone through the effort of optimizing optifine that much so this is the fps that i’m getting before enabling any kind of shader packs and let’s just Jump right into it so options video settings shaders the first one i’ll be showing you is the chocopic 13 high performance toaster as the name implies it’s a high performance pack designed to run on a toaster of course a 380ti is far from a toaster however this is one Of my favorite shader packs it doesn’t subtract too much from the game as you can see i’m sitting at a solid 27-ish 25 fps so it really halved my fps but the game really looks quite nice and pleasant looking over in this direction i seem to be losing some fps for some Reason over here a solid 60 as perform it’s a little bit on the dark side inside of caves and things like that but other than that i really do like the way that this looks it’s a pleasant lighting effect that doesn’t subtract too much from the vanilla game and it’s just Overall a general improvement that i really do enjoy shader pack number two make up ultra fast i haven’t had too much experience with but it is a much brighter shader pack as you can see there’s also a bit of depth of field going on looking around the place it is Quite pleasant to look at and definitely a ton brighter you will probably find yourself being able to mine and things like that with the shader pack whereas the first one at chocker pick is definitely much more difficult to see in dark areas but other than making the Game a ton brighter it doesn’t look too bad for me it makes things look a little bit soft for my liking but it really is quite a nice shader pack nonetheless and fps wise i’m sitting at a solid 32 36 maybe a bit higher probably around the Same fps marks and looking off into the jungle once more 40ish fps it didn’t go up too much but of course it is a rather nice shader pack it’s very smooth the next one silver’s enhanced default this is a much more popular pack it’s one of silver’s many shader packs and of course Is a fan favorite as you can see this is far more vanilla than anything else other than the water having its own wobbly texture the tree leaves moving and things like that i don’t really like the everything’s wobbling effect but of course if this is something that you’re Looking for this is where you’ll find it there’s also much harsher shadows as you can see here and the lighting bokeh and things like that around light sources isn’t so visible as for fps once again 31 32ish fps looking over the water and looking over The land a solid 40 43 46 fps a little bit higher than the previous pack but of course nothing too crazy as for why there’s such a harsh shadow from the moon well i don’t really know to be honest it’s a little bit too much of the World shadows and things like that and too little of specific light sources inside of houses and things like that far more vanilla but of course it is quite pleasant to look at at least if you’re going to be running around in the daytime the vinyl pack i’ll be showing You is yo fps low shock pick 13 edit this one is very very bright to say the least and it is going for more of the block illumination rather than the world elimination everything is rather bright looking over at the trees i’m sitting at a solid 90-ish fps which makes this the Most performant shader pack i’ve tried thus far that we got settled on 60-70 fps once again trees and grass things like that are all wobbling and moving around in the wind the water isn’t too far off of vanilla and of course everything is very very very bright even Inside this is the brightest of all of the packs ignoring the odd lighting effect around shadows here i’m sitting at a solid 40-ish fps which is pretty much normal for inside here but again looking over into the trees fps is settling a lot higher than it was With previous shader packs and of course everything is wobbling around as well this is all really up to user preference we’ve gone through some dark some light some more wobbly and some more stable packs and to be honest my absolute favorite out of all of them was the First one choco pick 13 high performance toaster it has some of the world shadows and things like that as well as lighting from light sources it’s a lot darker but of course if you’re able to turn up the brightness on your screen it’ll look pretty good compared to pretty much any Other shader pack water is pretty much the same and trees and grass are all sitting there still as blocks should be anyways once again it’s all user preference this is just what i like i like the global illumination light source is releasing some light like this It’s not too harsh and too bright it is just quite pleasant at least for me anyways that’s really about it for this quick video it’s very different compared to the usual that i do but of course maybe this is something you’d like to see more of if you’d like to see more Top 5 or whatever videos do let me know in the comments down below and i’ll see what i can get to do anyways that’s really about it for this video thank you for watching mine has been taken over here for troubleshoot and i’ll see you all next time ciao Video Information
