that had the music on and my microphone was just forced into being uh my microphone was just forced into Being the way it is so there you go lovely um as you can probably guess by the music we’re playing something that is a little bit staru theme today which is quite exciting so basically um this mod pack has been found by Scott and actually the day after Scott sent it to Us it then came up on my Tik Tok feed as well cuz he said it was on Tik Tok where he found it uh and the mod pack is called Big Chad guys plus which is a very funny name for it um I wanted to pull the Tik Tok Tok up actually because It kind of perfectly describes what the mod pack is and we’ll probably do it better Justice than I would be able to so let me go to liked videos then where is it there it is BCG thank goodness they put the logo in the thumbnail all right so yeah this is uh The little the little summary if you will of what this mod pack is so let me press play on it if it wants to play Hello try in this is big Chad guys plus there we go you may have heard of us when we originally took off in June after the Pack blew up I decided I wanted to really focus and create something that I can be proud of so at the peak of the explosion I took a Hiatus and now I’m back better than ever let me reintroduce you to the new Big Chad guys plus a comfy cozy kabalan experience that was Built by Factoria boyfriends for their stardew Valley girlfriend that’s the line I like custom quests decorations textures farming cooking and a handful of mods specifically made for the pack I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed working on it from the beginning I’ve always had performance in mind even With 300 plus mods I’ve made sure it runs smoothly on most system do it really does I even went as far as building low to medium and test benches just to make sure and if you don’t like Pokémon I just released a Pokémon free version big Chad guys Plus available now On Chris for look at that and then there’s also big Chad guys plus which is like a Holy Grail version which I think is something like uh more like an RPG Centric one the little part of my brain was like make it Kingdom of the saplings Too but I was like no if we’ve already got a multiplayer server that Scott and a bunch of other people are going to be playing on then we can uh we can stick with that that’s the plan for today so yeah this is going to be my last stream Of 202 23 we kind of did a bit of a yearin review a couple of days ago so I don’t feel the need to kind of do a recap today at any point I thought we would just sort of get straight into the game have a little dabble around uh and Go from there which is good um oh wait how do you pronounce that though is it is it toi someone’s just put the um put Happy New more subscribers this is a server that uh Scott set up running this mod pack and it is very very smooth I Got to admit out the gate it is looking pretty damn good I barely manage to anymore lately but probably ready for tomorrow I’m going to try one more iteration of them where they look less fractur and look more just like a crystal and we’ll decide what we think about it um but yeah new sub icons Coming to probably both the twitch and the YouTube channel Channel starting tomorrow I guess um although I do quite like that on YouTube we have the ahar icon as our thing I think that’s pretty cool um so yeah basically this mod pack has got a bunch of stuff in it like lots And lots and lots and lots and lots of lots of mods um and I’m not going to try and figure them out straight away I think I’m just going to head in a certain direction from Spawn and just sort of see what happens you know what I Mean just sort of have a wander out into the world and see what we come across so um I initially I told myself I wasn’t going to participate in all of the Cobble Monon stuff but I’ve never played Pixelmon for my firstam I’ve never played Cobble Monon anything like that So um yeah I think potentially uh I’m going to go with it I’m I’m going to give it a try we’ll just sort of do it passively if we see a Pokémon nearby that we think is cool then we can go from there I was thinking It would be cool to be able to make a gym maybe we can make a gym as like our build project for This Server So This Server is going to serve as like a uh an environment for building um stuff like you know basically you know make making Something that’s pretty and cool so that’s kind of what I’m thinking so far so we’ll see what our party ends up being um and we’ll go from there oh I pressed the button to choose my starter Pokemon and it crashed me good good uh and press that one there try again no Every time I press it it crashes me out okay hold on settings controls keybinds um uh starter no maybe if I go down to uh what’s it called Cobble Monon no oh jeez maybe I need to reinstall the mod pack again surely not this is literally just Scott’s mod pack that I’ve done What about if I search the letter J uh no no Pokemon for me apparently why is it doing that let’s see hold on okay and then when’s it going to tell me my I can do it maybe maybe I just can’t have the Pokemon fine whatever um I’m going to go North I’m going to go North to spawn I feel like that’s going to be the easiest way to do it I think this will work I’ll press J one more time yeah as soon as I try to participate in the in the in the cobon stuff it just doesn’t work but hey it’s Fine I had the same issue Scott sent me his files yeah well that’s the thing Scott sent me his files as well let’s try doing that just one more time then I guess we’ll do one more quick reinstall so I literally open curse Forge I go to Open folder I delete everything in that folder and then I get Scott’s folder and I open it up and I literally just drag and drop everything in so drag drop bam that’s all Dro there and we’ll see what happens maybe a cheeky relaunch but it seems to be having some kind of issue Uh sure yeah I’ll press replace files in this location why not but yeah and that’s my goal with this um SMP is it’s a very I think everyone’s kind of on it for a casual Christmas slash New Year window smpp just a little something to play little something to chill out With right here we go uh Play There we go my New Year’s resolution is going to be to watch more streams live I think oh well that’s exciting what is everybody’s New Year’s resolution by the way mine for example is I would like to um lose Weight which I know is a very generic one but it’s something that I did want to live back in Bristol but for the duration of living um where we do now once we moved away from Bristol I’ve just not had time between work and the kids and everything to basically do the Whole exercise thing I was really good at it before really committed to it um I think you can still see it on my Instagram my before and after of the progress that I’ve made um so I’m totally just going to jump back into it I’ve got no quals and no worries about It um I’m just I just haven’t had the time to do it but now we’re going to we’re going to hit the ground running with it which is going to be pretty cool so yeah thank you dude no no no no No is the goblin mod in this maybe maybe the goblin mod is in this it could be what’s the goblin mode Goblin on these you almost got us you almost got us portal I appreciate the consistent uh efforts you make tell you what I could do with a Bed can you shear some Pokémon if they are like a Wu or something 11 chops you kidding me I’ve got an axe why am I doing it in my hand don’t know what’s wrong with me jeez I’m not used to that just yet this is a big old tree I’m taking Down but it’s fine we get a bunch of Acacia out of this I don’t know by the way whether I’m okay playing just the Star Valley Music I guess we’ll find out if this fod gets muted into Oblivion but I imagine you can probably just listen to the stard soundtrack on stream and Everything’s going to be groovy right hold on these map markers are really bugging me how do I see a list of markers options way points here we go so I don’t need two for spawn don’t need a de one it’s just and if I rename this One Scott’s house there we go nice I wonder if there’s a way of disabling them in the world as well I kind of don’t want to see them constantly that’s just more a personal preference I oh do I not have seeds five have seeds which one’s Seeds sort my name does it not drop seeds when you make wheat wheat crops do you not get seeds hold on what do you do what do they look like though oh there they are wheat seeds God I couldn’t I couldn’t see them I just Wanted to do this and breed a bunch of cows and then kill a bunch of cows just so I can take a semide decent food source with me um I help populate this out although actually to be fair it looks like he’s doing other plant types over here so I won’t ruin That I tell you what I’ve been spoiled by new life we have this thing in in New Life where you could right click on a crop and it would automatically place a seed and then pick up the one that you were trying to farm and we don’t appear to have that Here I’m to do the old cut but if you want animated emotes and if you want new alerts chat you know what to do subscribe to the channel cuz generally what I always try to do is put the money that I get from this once my like overheads are covered For like living life and feeding my children I try and put it always uh always try and put it back into the channel so so if you want improvements get on board you’ve got inventory can’t remember how it works oh this Looks different to the one that I’ve used before actually I think unless it’s just retextured because of the mod pack it’s the side of the chest slot okay let’s try this no you can’t put it on that slot trying to click on all of these no can’t seem to do It I have to put it on the ground and then shift click it oh yeah there you go it is on thank you much obliged okay good uh now if I wanted to upgrade said backpack is B the backpack button it is yeah cool um how do I Upgrade you oh can I put water in there h no way and then you can take it back out oh that’s pretty cool I mean I’ll keep it for now okay so if I wanted to upgrade this thing it be a blank upgrade which would be six leather which I okay I just Straight up don’t have six leather so I won’t even worry about that for now we’ll do that later on um we are who’s that py thank you very much for the 13 months dude much appreciated iron tier upgrade so it’s one upgrade and then um a bunch of iron Cool cool cool then you do the same with gold i’ probably be able to get up to a gold level backpack relatively quickly um okay sweet I mean I guess I guess we can get some more leather guys is it something like that so what I’m going to do I’m going to Move these into slots like maybe not slot one move them to there just so when I mine them they automatically pop into my inventory 29 eight for the chest seven for the pants five for the Hat four for the boots three for the pick two for the Sword right so 29 in total we’ve got 10 and to be fair we’re closing in on that the diamonds do look nice in this to be fair the actual like texture for the icon it’s just the The Ore itself I’m not as into but I’ve enjoyed this it’s nice It’s nice playing something that’s a little little less uh little less intense less moving Parts it’ll be nice once we start building something although I I I didn’t realize that the whole world was overhauled in terms of textures to kind of make it All Uniform so there was me Thinking like oh I’m going to practice my building in vanilla and become a better Builder and learn how to do gradients but then now nothing looks like regular Minecraft so this doesn’t really um doesn’t really feel like I’ll get to do that but he it happens expectations versus reality why level atus 20 Something yes I knew following this round was going to be good it’s super chill yeah it is it feels like January is going to be a chill month you know what I mean between this and maybe doing some like DND D practice SL learning streams and stuff like
