Alrighty Peeps and welcome back to one block last episode we built up a pretty Overkill starter house especially for SkyBlock so if you haven’t seen that I suggest you go and checking it out I’ll have a link down in the description and in the top right of the screen now in Today’s episode I decided to build up a giant aquarium complete with fish Turtles and even a little mini ocean monument at the let’s get into the video alright and welcome back to one block now today I’m feeling like I want to build up an aquarium because I have a funny feeling that we’ve got some ocean phases on the way if I know anything about one block they’re coming soon and I kind of want to take advantage of the fish that we’re gonna get as well as the coral because you can’t really store it I don’t think without it like dying I I don’t know now last episode I did commit a ton of deforestation and just absolutely decimated probably hundreds Of trees here let’s be real and but this episode we’re going to be doing something very very similar because obviously the main resources that I have to build with is wood and stone and I’m not building it out of stone so I think how we’re going to do things this time Is I’m gonna build the aquarium itself and the platform that it sits on behind the tree farm so directly opposite from my house and then we’ll build it up from there now before we actually get onto any block mining I’d just like to show you my cow and mushroom farm it’s pretty Impressive right I was bringing these guys all throughout the last video when I was building the house up while I was waiting for like trees to grow and stuff so yeah we have a load of them and I kind of want to get a load more so food Shouldn’t be a problem for us at the time being however they’re gonna stay in that little pen over there because I’m not building them an area yet I’m also hoping to be able to get some sand in this video obviously for the glass of the aquarium itself but also to actually Add glass to my house because it’s uh it’s got a little bit of a it’s got a little bit of a draft coming through if you uh if you couldn’t tell anyways let me throw my shield on let me open this block up and let’s see what Horrors away Is in our end of the underground phase I think it is ah well this has just reminded me that I could probably do with getting some more iron because I completely drained my Supply last episode using it on tools buckets and I think lanterns I made quite a lot of Lanterns with it please resupply me with iron hello buddy oh no this is the ultimate sin oh I’m so sorry oh I feel so bad please tell me I’ve got an iron pick somewhere please tell me I’ve got like one durability left on the iron pick I Please please do I have nothing’s in these yet okay it’ll be upstairs I can’t not mind that diamond man if I can’t get that diamond up actually I’m gonna be so sad I really don’t think I’ve got any way to get the diamond dude this sucks This really sucks but hey you know what we’ll find more okay we’ll find more we won’t need this soon enough okay goodbye oh no this dude this is a crime oh thank God please stop giving me diamonds phrase I never thought I’d say but I’m begging you please don’t give me any More diamonds oh yes there we go all right some iron please give me three so I can make a pickaxe and I don’t have to mine at like one mile per hour oh they took each other out okay all right well made my job easier foreign Why would I want this I I guess I’ll take it I’ll put it in a chest I’m never gonna spawn that guy in okay so does this signal the end of the face then uh no okay maybe the halfway point right okay so I think that now marks so We’ve got two in there and I think last episode we got one as well so we should have three diamonds total I had a baby zombie then oh where are you is he in the rafters hello where is he where is he hello the demons haunted my house these days I don’t like It uh oh dude there was a defying here to get the first three diamonds I never checked this chest I completely forgot about it oh well at least we got a diamond pick now although I am down three Diamonds though boom there we go okay now we can get uh obsidian there’s Not like we’re gonna be getting that for a while but at least we can get it now oh man I can’t believe I forgot about the iron and the chest man I knew I had some somewhere ah I was just expecting one of you I knew you were coming I knew you were Coming look at this you see the new defense right here you see the new defense they can do nothing against defense although to be fair they do hurt a little bit okay maybe just oh leave for a second can I don’t have enough arrows to snipe those guys I I don’t Want to go near them when I just go there we go fall down into the pit oh geez not friendly man sheesh okay where are you right there okay just gonna take that and oh no not the creeper hit the Skelly oh yes he’s gone down all Right there we go now it’s just these guys I want your chest plate buddy give me your chest plate all right please please the only thing I ask of you uh you gave me your boots do I have boots I already have boots I don’t need those Great now I’m gonna patch up the floor again oh they did give me some some leather pants though look at that oh I’m also getting kind of sick of having these berries as my only food source right now um I I really don’t like the fact that I’m I’m getting hungry every two seconds all right no I know what I have to do I’m sorry I’m sorry look this is your only purpose here I’m sorry I’m sure what’s coming next is better than the wooden pen you’re trapped in okay that should be more than enough beef for now All right that’ll that’ll do me a lot better than these awful awful berries okay steak much better food sauce much better food sauce now I think we’re getting close to finishing this phase if you see down here we’ve got 1945 okay 1000 145 blocks mined so I’m hoping that This phase ends at 2K it would be nice because we need to I don’t know guess from fish man I need to make an aquarium you’re not a fish oh hang on a minute I think I’m wrong about the blocks in the bottom left they were the blocks that I Mined up to the point where I spawned back in in this world so like last episode’s block mining although I’d like for this to be the last chest uh no oh my God finally okay that took so long that took me like half an hour man that Took so long uh we got some candles a gapple an iron sword I’ll take it um and just some other miscus items hopefully there’s something better in next phase I kind of want to be out of the caves or at the very least not in those caves anymore because I mean I’m I’m kind of sick of the deep sleep now all right it’s getting a bit bothersome okay what you got for me block what have you got for me Lush drip caves ooh okay you know what I’ll take that I’ll take that they’ll be oh we can get moss which means that we Won’t actually need to use dirt anymore for the floor oh that’s huge okay so we can get moss in here we can get azaleas which we already have um or at least partially so what I’m actually gonna do is before we continue on I want to get all of the iron that we Got from this phase so it was a grand total of I think 29. I want to craft up some tools I want to craft up some armor because we also have some diamonds as well and then what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna put all the wood that we’ve got Currently to use on building out the bottom outline of the aquarium that’s going to go over there and then we’ll actually get to tearing through this phase I mean do you think it has any sand in it yeah the Lush caves I know they don’t really have sand they have Clay so probably not but let’s hope all right I’m feeling good we’re fully Decked Out iron armor now I’ve got a diamond ax just because of the damage and I guess we’re gonna be dropping a lot of trees so it’s gonna come in really useful all right so what we’re Gonna do now is I need to go and make three circles right here all varying in size so we need one at 57 blocks wide to be the outer layer we need one at 45 blocks wide to be the actual outer layer of the actual aquarium and then we’re Gonna need a final one at 33 blocks wide that’s going to be the inner layer of the aquarium so without any further Ado I guess let’s get to building up some of these circles now I’m going to do the outer layer out of spruce wood because It’s going to just stand out a little bit more and be easier to work with all right and there we go there’s all the circles done it’s definitely starting to well look like something and that’s something it’s just a group of circles but it looks cool nonetheless so The next steps will be to obviously mine up some more block but we do want to fill this in with I think I may do the outer layer with stone bricks which is going to take me a lifetime of mine in Cobblestone but it’s going to be worth It and then the inner one probably with wood and then this is gonna be I’m hoping to try and get enough sand to have a sand floor or at least like a sand and gravel mix floor I don’t know this is a big circle to fill so I don’t Know whether we will or not but either way it’s coming together and now the floor is done we can get on with I guess the next part now I am gonna go and take all the Cobblestone I have right now and smelt it down into just normal Stone Just in preparation for the sheer amount that I’m gonna need for the bricks to fill in the floor now I do actually have some on me from last time so I’m going to throw these down and then get a rough idea of how many we’re actually going to Need okay so surprisingly it’s not too bad this is just over a stack of bricks worth of slabs and it’s done almost a quarter of it so maybe four and four and a half stacks I’ll say we’ll do it so that’s good to know but now with that Out of the way I guess it’s time to head back and start mining up the block what is that no the fish we need the fish come here no come here come here there we go all right two fish foreign okay so another day gone by we made some Pretty big progress got a whole bunch of axolotls that I very quickly found out kill the fish I didn’t know this but they eat the fish so we can’t store them in the aquarium with the fish so I guess they can just I don’t know have their Own little Pond somewhere at some point but yeah they ate some of my fish it was very sad but um now we’re faced with the problem of this storage being a little bit too cluttered again so I’m gonna sort out my holding problem down there in the morning and then we shall Continue on to our block mining activities and hopefully finish off this phase okay and there we go they’re all cleared out they’re all looking good let’s get back to filling them up with crap now so far this phase has actually been pretty good to me it’s giving me Some diamonds a little bit of iron and a whole bunch of fish which is really what we want so oh but it has these guys in it and they’re awful I hate them so much they scare me I don’t know why I’ve got flying armor like I’m good but I don’t Know this guy hurts all right ooh don’t get another Power one bow yes oh wait no I need Anvil to combine them okay well I’ll keep them on me we got two power on bows bears are the same if I was rudely interrupted by him this Phase has been pretty good to me it’s given us some good stuff including a whole bunch of fish like I said is what we need so it’s going good I just need to find a way to get some glass which I’m hoping like we get an ocean face Soon I was expecting an ocean face for this one but apparently I was wrong anyways enough rambling from me let’s finish off this phase I’m not gonna I’m not gonna stop until I finish off I’ll go away ah you see this is why I didn’t want to Stay up at night this is the problem we have now okay hello um I didn’t think you could get in this is okay that could have gone bad go away go oh there’s so many what’s happening why is there so many oh I’m gonna bed Oh there we go I think that’s the end of the phase and that’s a very nice uh ending chest too with a couple diamonds in there some diamonds some gapples always take the gapples and we got a bunch of small blossoms too all right well that’s gonna upgrade in a minute We’re gonna see what phase we get up to okay let’s hope for sand okay anything to do with sand or glass all right anything maybe fish as well we need more fish what we get ocean floor exactly what I wanted all right that’s beautiful we’ve got some prismarine too gotta love It the endless expanses of water stretch before you with strange creatures lurking in the Deep oh we can have Guardians though uh it’s fine I hate them but they’re just a mild annoyance I’ve got a supreme hatred for them but it’s it’s a personal beef not a you know It’s it’s fine I’m sure I’ll get through but that now means we can get glass for Windows and we can also get glass for our actual aquarium how much glass we’re gonna be able to get I have no clue but hopefully it’s enough to cover both Alright the storage is all done now but I’ve just had a thought I kind of want to go and finish off the stone layer around the outside of that and maybe do a little bit of work on Gathering some wood before we continue on mining the Block just to add a little bit more variety between my block mining sessions you know it does get a little bit tedious dare I say so we’ll take some more Cobblestone we’ll get that smelting down um I think to be fair we should probably have enough with the amount that we’ve Gotten now okay so three in a three and a half stacks should be enough to at least finish off maybe one of the sides I know that that one’s going to be immediately finished off but it might be enough to do another one as well I mean It did it did that and then half of this one or just over half so I’m just gonna go I’m gonna Mount up a bunch of Cobble and then I’m just gonna go and finish all this off okay and there we go the outer layer is Now done and it looks pretty good I know the the different Woods are kind of goofy but I’ll probably change it later down the line now overall this took a little bit of time it took a little bit more Cobblestone than I was expecting but it wasn’t too bad um and you may Notice hey poppers the tree farms disappeared well my good friends let me show you where I’ve moved it to you see I was kind of sick of seeing it there right wasn’t I saw it was going to disrupt with the build and I was sick of getting caught on trees and things Spawning under them so I threw it behind my house now look at this we’ve got a much bigger tree farm with two like I guess plant pot kind of things here just for the uh big spruce trees because they create like the what’s it called the not The puzzle the it might be puzzle actually is it puzzle they create something on the floor right when I grow them they create like a big patch of crap on the floor and I just don’t want to deal with that so yeah I put them I Trapped them in their own little pens so yeah this is gonna be supplying us with our good needs for this foreseeable future Jesus that’s a big tree and for this build we’re gonna need a lot of wood so it just made sense to expand it Out and move it behind there so now I guess with all the tree farm being moved around there and the first layer of that being built I think I might just walk around real quick um and add where I’m gonna put the pillars just mark them out with one wood Block uh and then we’ll get back to mining the block because I’m excited to see what this face has for me except the Guardians all right and there we go there’s all the wooden fillers for now placed down let’s get on with mining through this phase because I’m really Curious what we’re gonna find so let’s go oh right okay so this is the coral but I don’t understand how I’m supposed to if I put water here right can I pick it up if it’s underwater like that do I need silk touch to get it how am I Supposed to get Carl let me Google this real quick I don’t actually know how I’m supposed to pick up coral without silk touch okay so you do need silk touch I was right uh big oof on this part because now we can’t get any coral for Our lovely aquarium so I’ll just pick my water back up I guess that kind of sucks but yeah it is what it is you know we’ll get through this phase at least we can get sand oh gee oh my god dude I thought you were a creeper how’s it going buddy Um I don’t know what to do with you maybe throw you in a boat would probably be the best idea right now there we go you can just chill out here buddy um I’m sure you’ll be safe oh hello buddies how you doing don’t try it at me oh yeah go On go on hit him again hit him again yeah go on kill your friend yes oh you idiot laughs hey Augie Mike hey hello hello my guy Augie hello welcome buddy welcome Hey look listen you’re not gonna go get any job okay I have a special job In mind for you I have a special job in mind does make sense Mr Augie my good friend would you like to become a Fletcher for me Oggy yeah there we go all right um I’ll break some of this down to Wood Get some sticks going up in here and boom our first trades let’s go what a deal what a deal indeed my Augie friend I’ll even I’ll break my last stack of wood down in for you look at that look at that that’s friendship right there that’s friendship giving you good good Trades I really hope we can find one of his friends or family during this phase because that would be really nice um but if not that’s okay I mean we we can at least start preparing for when we do get a second villager oh wait hang on A minute I’ve just thought if we do get another one of him then we can okay so we can use him as a Fletcher all right and get in for the emerald and then we can set another one up as a librarian and then they can trade glass and they Can also trade lanterns but mainly glass that’s absolutely ridiculous okay we need a second villager I’ve got my plan in action this is how we shall build our aquarium ah foreign welcome Joe how’s it going how’s it going Joe um now the question is do I have the Paper required to get the books or at least the books to get the paper I don’t know do I have the stuff to make in a librarian I have nine paper in there which is enough for three books yeah okay brilliant okay oh my God this couldn’t go any better this is the Perfect amount give me the leather give me the leather right now and craft ourselves up a electurn boom okay my good friend you’re going to make me extremely rich on glass that is uh not really much else just glass you shall be threat like your friend Um you may leave don’t fall off the edge please I will cry who do you want to be tell me who you would like to become why are you going to my attic what are you doing dude what are you doing what are your what is your problem man here Take this this is a much better life choice for you I will make this choice for you I will make this choice you are not being a fisherman no no no no no no no no no no listen listen now nothing against it nothing against it all right I just don’t agree with that life choice much wood as possible I mean we’ve got the means to build our aquarium now if maybe lacking in Coral but I mean we’ve got a couple Pieces we have the fish we have the potential to get glass um we literally just need the actual resources so yeah I’m gonna go drop down like 10 000 forests over and over again foreign foreign Ty and there’s the first part done now the floor is going to take a little bit more Santa fill than I was expecting but that’s okay so real quick before I actually get on to mining the block again I want to go and make another diamond pickaxe because I have enough Iron stashed away to make an anvil and then I can trade for the efficiency is it efficiency 5 up here I can trade for the efficiency 5 and like that there we go okay and now we can actually throw it on the diamond pickaxe there we go all Right that’s gonna help getting through this phase just oh it’s just gonna make it so much easier oh God that looks awful right now the first time I’ve seen it from a distance so it looks so bad it’s all good it’ll it’ll come together all right with my inventory sorted out Let’s get our way through this phase oh actually wait a second do I want to do some more trading I can actually pick up the coral if I can get a librarian to trade me silk touch that means that I can get the coral is that really worth it like it’ll Make it look so much better right oh okay right I’ll go breathe the villagers some more okay good friends eat up eat up eat up more villagers please more villagers I need to kill some more spiders for wool there we go immediately getting to work look at that beautiful Beautiful okay we’ll throw this down here and then when the child grows up we shall have ourselves a silk touch boy or at least I’ll Farm him out until he sells me silk touch also I came to the decision that whilst I’m waiting for the Villager to grow up I may as well just add the windows to my house because well I had the leftover glass and it’s been way too long without them alright hello buddy all right it’s time for you to now become my silk touch guy so just please Move over there let me replace the lectern thank you no we need silk touch all right my now we can actually get on with this phase come on give me the yeah there’s a lovely coral and oh funky looking Axolotl hello buddy um you’re just gonna go in there and get thrown in there because well I can’t put you with The fish oh God it’s the big boy it’s the big boy oh oh go away no no no break break line of sight break line of sight Oh my days why is he here why is this man here that’s the big one right yeah that’s not a Novel sized guy stop flapping in my face buddy I need to get out of here and not die to you just just forget I exist I have a power to bow in the house I have a bunch of arrows from Trading all right I’m gonna snipe in from a distance I did Not expect big papa Guardian to spawn him that was not a nice surprise all right buddy you are oh there’s no way that actually got me damn it dude you give me money fatigue can you have to drink milk there he goes okay right great they’re gonna spawn in Every I don’t even know how many blocks now that’s just a ah just amazing that I have to deal with those I I honestly God couldn’t think of anything better to find in this face dude I’ve got nothing to I don’t have water I don’t have water Um I kind of want you guys you guys would be awesome to keep but I don’t know how I can maybe if I just start moving them over there now would be a good idea well they follow like a one stream of water hello where’d your Friend go where do you oh no wait no I’m having flashbacks to the one from my one block video these guys just gonna throw themselves off the edge they really don’t care yep look watch what she’s gonna go he’ll throw himself off he does not care whatsoever he’ll he’ll oh maybe He’ll chill in there actually what are you doing okay no keeping Dolphins is a bad idea let’s just let’s get rid of this okay the Dolphins uh if I want them later I’ll try and get them later but for now they’re gonna prove way too annoying Oh no more of you please just go away ow are they were they getting entity crammed then because I started taking damage too that was weird that was really weird oh here we go okay what’s gonna spawn in I’m getting back because I don’t want an Elder Guardian to spawn in okay drowns Big Elder Guardian Oh my days okay I’m just gonna let him just yep yep just go and go and fall off I’m gonna watch it from her I’m gonna watch you from the window fall off buddy go away oh god that hurt buddy oh Jesus okay all right these guys are something else There we go jeez all right and with all that now being uh sorted out and peace being restored let’s get back to mining through this phase now I do kind of want to finish this phase off before we continue on with the build just so that Way we have the maximum amount of blocks available to us that we can have foreign is officially over we’ve got so much stuff that I had to make another chest because it’s just it’s got a little bit out of hand okay we didn’t get that much Coral I think we ended up losing the majority of it prior but all in all pretty productive phase we did get a pretty decent amount of sand from it I know there’s only three in there but I think there’s more in this one so let’s real quick find out what the next phase Is and then once we know that we will continue on and finish off the build in the morning the red desert that doesn’t look like a red desert to me but I’m sure it’ll become one okay so I want to go and grab all of the sand that we have As well as the gravel I don’t think we really did get much gravel from that I can even find it hello gravel to gravel wow crazy stuff right there um does tough look like gravel at all like similarly I mean I guess it looks more like Cobblestone probably but uh Maybe we can use that I I don’t know we really didn’t get much from that like sand wise I understand that we’ll probably get more sand in this one uh how much how quickly am I gonna get normal sand tonight red sand well there’s a lot of sandstone red sand I Mean I guess we could use red sand okay this face has a lot of sand in it all right let’s see what this magnificent 39 sand is gonna do for us wowie that did uh nothing that literally did like nothing um and then we have nine Red Sands so we may as well put that down too you know get a nice little mix up in here and then just like will Sandstone look pretty good like it doesn’t look bad to be fair okay I’m gonna see how much progress we can make with the stuff That we’ve just gotten I don’t want to go too far into that phase just yet because it’s spawning pillagers and I’m really scared that it’s gonna end up spawning a um what’s a guy magic guy with the Vex a um is that Vindicated no no Vindicator anyway one of those guys And uh well it’s gonna mess me up so I don’t wanna do that evoka that’s the name evoker yeah I hope I don’t get one of those spawning in I really really hate deal with them all right and finally after I don’t even know how much trial and error and breaking Sandstone Down into slabs and everything like that we finally got enough to finish off the floor now it looks kind of weird with the sand and sandstone and red sand and red Sandstone but you know what it works and that’s all I’m gonna ask for right now okay and now with the floor done It’s time to replace the underside of this with stone bricks and build up a little mini ocean monument in here before then taking out the roof and finishing off the outside okay so as for the actual ocean Monument itself I’m gonna follow an image I saw earlier today Um that looked like a pretty cool mini one and hopefully it fits Within These Dimensions so I’ll just build that up see how it looks and then we’ll go from there all right and there we go it’s looking pretty good now I did have to downsize It quite a little bit actually because I didn’t have as much prismarine as it was wanting me to have but still I think this is okay this looks pretty good especially for like a little crappy OSHA Monument it looks pretty nice so in the morning I’m gonna go and remove that Roof and then go around and add the coral and like the sea life and stuff and then finally we’ll build up the outside okay so I was gonna start the day off by getting rid of the wood up top there um but I’ve noticed something this little fella has gone and killed All of my fish all of them you’re lucky you’re so damn cute otherwise you’d be well well acquainted with this my good friend well acquainted that is sad however I did buy some fish from a Wandering Trader so that’s okay at least we have three tropical fish and a whole Bunch of axolotls as well as four turtles so we should be okay but now it’s time to fill this bad boy with water so cool jump transitioning coming in three two one boom there it is it’s looking pretty good I’ll be a little bit Barren down at the bottom but the ocean Monument in there and with it all filled with water it’s really coming together now what I’m going to do next is go around and add all the coral that we have just around the bottom maybe uh grow some grass and some kelp if we have Any and just make it look a little bit more colorful I don’t really think we have too much Coral which does kind of suck but we’ll deal with what we have okay and that’s looking a lot better and now there’s not much Coral like I said But hey you know what at least it looks a little bit more colorful now consider that I completely lost all of my fish due to the fox that’s over there um I do still have the three in here so we’ll go and put those in right now okay And there we go the turtles are in the fish are in the one salmon is in now I do technically have more Turtles than I do tropical fish in there but hey you know what the turtles look cool okay and now it’s time to go and grab an Absolutely Unholy amount of wood cause we need to build those all the way up and add some nice fancy designs in the middle too also I had to throw efficiency 5 on this because taking that top bit off took so long with a normal ax I decided to switch it up in that Efficiency five so yeah so I guess without any further Ado let’s just um let’s just get to chopping down these trees and probably having to repair this ax like a thousand times let’s go oh this is actually not too bad this is actually super super quick Foreign There we go there’s the finished aquarium and I do say I think it’s looking pretty nice I feel like the azalea leaves were a really nice touch because they had just a little pop of color it looks really good now over time we’re still going to add fish and things To this as well as maybe a bit more Coral just because it is a little bit Barren of life and well life at this point but we will fix that up later and just have it looking a lot better but I think overall it came out looking pretty Good I’ll maybe change some stuff up on the roof maybe maybe add like a little Axolotl area up there I’m not too sure and it even looks pretty good from the house too so now
