Hey guys it’s jackson today i’m going to be showing you guys how to make an automatic modder generator for your 1.19 world Now mud is a new block that was added in 1.19 and you can find it in mangrove swamps naturally but you can also create it using dirt and a water bottle like this you can create mud by placing the dirt and then right clicking on it with a water bottle Now what we’ve done to make this automatic is set up a dispenser system that automatically dispenses this water bottle onto the dirt so let’s have a look at this automatic generator so to start this farm we’re going to hold shift and right click on this dispenser With a piece of dirt then look at this piston here and hold our right click down and you can see it’s automatically generating mud so let me explain what is happening and how it’s going to continue going like this forever until we sort of run out of space here When i place a dirt block on the face of this piston here because there is a redstone torch here it completes a circuit that circuit then powers this dispenser then pushes this piston which pushes a dirt block you can see it turns at this block into mud and then moves this dirt block Across just like that now over on the other side of this dispenser we have a repeater coming out of it going into this block with a piece of redstone here this redstone powers this dispenser which dispenses a bottle into this water filling it up and then Drops it and brings it straight back up and feeds it back into this dispenser so it goes in a loop so this never runs out of water bottles see the water water floating up and then goes back into here now that’s all great but this piston can Only push 15 blocks and that is not enough mud so we’ve got another row of pistons here and once the mud gets to the end let’s just do this it’s to the end you’ll notice it pushes it all across now he’s a very similar system over here as we do over Here we have a redstone torch and when a block goes on top of that redstone torch completes the current and the pistons all fire off now eventually this chunk will get to its maximum limit because pistons can only push a certain amount of blocks once it gets to that you can Go ahead and break your mud and then go and start the whole sort of process again so now let’s get on to the tutorial the materials you’ll need for this build will appear on your screen now and let’s get going with a placement of this farm you can Build it wherever you want doesn’t matter what biome it is you can’t actually build it in the nether though because you need water but other than that you’ve got no restrictions i built this in the air so you can clearly see the all of this sort of redstone of this But of course for practicality it might be easier to build on the ground but if or if you do want to build it in the air so you don’t have to clear a bunch of space you definitely want to add a platform under these blocks here because otherwise when you break them they’re Going to fall straight down into the ground the first thing we want to do to start this farm is place a piston like this facing towards the way you want to push all of your mud mine’s being pushed this way then break this block here place a redstone torch place redstone here Make sure this redstone torch is not on the block that the redstone is being placed on you can see it’s on the opposite side then a repeater here two blocks and redstone on both of those blocks set down a dispenser here make sure it’s a dispenser not a dropper the dispenser Has a circular face like this and set this repeater here to three ticks delay and place a hopper on this dispenser this is what we should have so far and when we place a block here our piston should push it across and we should hear our dispenser um sort of Tick but if you want to double check this put an item in that dispenser then place a block here and the dispenser should shoot that out and it does break this block here here into these two under the dispenser like so place a dispenser here diagonal down but facing the opposite Way to this dispenser facing towards the back get under here grab a hopper and place it like this let me just get down to show you so this hopper is going into this dispenser but it’s underneath this one here place a repeater on top of this dispenser Facing this way away from the redstone we built before place a building block and underneath that building block break a hole and place a piece of redstone dust build both this hopper and dispenser up with glass bottles now this is a crucial step you need to Fill these right up except for the item hopper here where we want to leave just a few spots spare so maybe half a stack spare you need to make sure you fill these up like this um because otherwise we’re going to have water bottles being Taken out it’s sort of like a very cheap way of making an item sorter so you will notice if you put any other item into this top dispenser here it’s not going to go through but if we place an extra glass bottle there it’s going to go straight into our hopper and make That 35 where it was 34. now hold shift and click on this repeater with a trapdoor and flick it up and do that again on top of that trapdoor so we have two high trap doors around this like with glass starting one down should be placing three glass blocks or Two depending on how you’ve got your floor but you want to make a cylinder like this starting at the level of our dispenser and finishing at the level of the hopper place a block here and fill this up with water now direct this water like so using a channel over to our hopper We should have a lip like this you don’t have to add in the corners but you can if you want to so we create a little l shape and then place another bucket of water here now any item that gets dropped into there for example let’s just go with a Piece of glass we’ll float up to the top very slowly and then we’ll be pushed into this hopper then into our dispenser like that now place a few water bottles in this dispenser i suggest filling it up fully but you can just place say six in here if you want Just to finish off this water system place another layer of glass on top like this just so the water bottles don’t get thrown out and to get thrown everywhere because we want to keep those in at this system now we’re moving on to the bit that makes our little um Mud sort of blob over there for this we’re using a very similar system to what we have here leaving a one block gap from this block here place eight pistons one two three four five six seven eight facing towards the front of the farm which is this side not the Back where all this water is the front where this piston is this then at the end break this block place a redstone torch a repeater two pieces of redstone like so place blocks behind each one of these pistons and place redstone dust on all of those blocks and connect it up to this Redstone here but now when you place a block on top of this redstone torch all the pistons should fire and then retract now just to note before we finish off this farm if you are in an area like a plains or an ochre or a birch biome where there’s grass around your farm You’re going to need to change that to another block for example stone this is because the grass will grow onto the dirt and then that will stop it from being able to be converted into mud because grass has not turned into mud in minecraft you just want to replace these blocks With a stone like this it’s super easy to do it doesn’t take too much time at all don’t have to do a huge area small area like this when you do this just keep in mind that this redstone torch has to be here and that this repeater has to be on three Ticks delay so that it is two clicks once you’ve done that you’ve got a working mod farm and place a block here in front of this dispenser then place your blocks on top of this piston and you’ll notice um your mod the dirt starts to get converted into mud Now this block here which i have added in is optional you can place it just like this if you do run into problems sometimes of placing a extra dirt block here but i like to add a grass block right glass block or any sort of block right there glass is my personal favorite Because you can still see through it just so i don’t misplace any dirt blocks now as you can see we now have a mud sort of rectangle now in this batch mark it is all mud and no blocks have been missed but on the rare occasion you can get a few just dirt Blocks scattered around but that is just the nature of the beast it also happens with stone generators that work in a similar way now you can go ahead and break this with a tool of your choice now the shovel is the most efficient and you can put Efficiency on that to make it even faster but guys now you know how to build a mud farm in a 1.19 minecraft so that is going to be the end of this video guys i hope you guys enjoyed please This minecraft Mud Farm / Generator will pump out loads of the new 1.19 mud block The build uses only pistons (no sticky pistons) and the materials are fairly easy to get making it survival friendly This is a compact JAVA Build – Bedrock players use this version : https://youtu.be/4gNspnUJQ1w
This mud farm is great to quickly created all the mud blocks you need to build with or craft mud bricks
