Hello wonderful people and welcome back to another build tutorial i’m i’m a wild one and today i’m going to be showing you how to build this one chunk sand castle this house is super spacious fabulously fun and super unique so it’ll stand out in your survival world Let’s get building for this build you’ll need the following fabulous materials on your screen now alright let’s get building since we’re building a chunk house i’ve marked out a 16 by 16 area the size of a chunk to build our house within this way you can see that our House stays within this area the whole time you can check a chunk size by pressing f3 g and it pulls up these borders see how this whole chunk is inside of this border alright now we can get building first place a dirt placement block on the front side of our build so that Way you can remember where it is now head to the back corner and coming one in from the very corner of our chunk we’re going to create a 7×7 square out of our sandstone one two three four five six seven seven along this way one two three four five six seven when We’re doing these two sides this one and this one here we’re actually going to leave a three block gap one two three before continuing our seven and a three block gap one two three and connecting up our seven so you can see it’s still a square with some holes in the sides Next build up three high out of smooth sandstone on each corner and then place a chisel sandstone on the top then on the two walls that face out of our chunk we’re going to build up three high out of our cut sandstone so we’re missing this middle section and i’ll do It on the side too wonderful now create some windows in these gaps by placing two sandstone stairs three walls going up the center a chisel sandstone on top and then we need some more stairs a right way up one and two upside down stairs facing out like that And do this on this side as well as a final touch of embellishment and to keep the mobs out we’re going to add some white stained glass here and here and some buttons in the corners like so finding our front side with our dirt placement block create our walls With our cut sandstone birch planks and cut sandstone on top then create a door with three high sandstone walls then we’re using a smooth sandstone stairs upside down like this and then we’re creating a pattern smooth sandstone stairs up uh the right way up on the outside like that Then curving in like this with um normal sandstone stairs and then an upside down smooth ins there to create the arch finally add some fence gates to keep the mobs out and then place buttons here here here and here for the final wall of this section of The sand castle we’re going to create something similar to the front wall but um from an inside perspective so we have our cut sandstone birch cut sandstone then we’re going to create a similar arch with an upside-down smooth stair this time we’re not putting the walls in to leave a nice open walkway We’re also going to create this funky little stair pattern to finish off the wall and then an upside down stair next to create the colonels and merlin so typical of sandcastles we’re going to build too high um skipping every second block all the way around out of our cut sandstone And then in between each of these we’re going to place a birch plank Final one should look like this so far from the outside next to finish up our krennels and merlins we are going to add some fences these are spruce fences which adds a nice contrast maybe use sticks for these if you were building a real sandcastle and then some sandstone slabs on the top This adds a bit more height and then some buttons on each face all the way around also on this back side and on this other side the ones facing outwards we’re going to add our flip flaps and we don’t need to worry about this wall because there’s another tower attaching to it Our final construction steps for this part of the sandstone castle is to add some sandstone stairs on the corners like this and remember we don’t need to worry about putting the decorations on this side and then fill in the floor at this level here just with some sandstone blocks You can use slabs if you’d like to save but using blocks means you can easily hang lanterns underneath let’s work on the next part of the sandcastle we’re going to be breaking the walls of this part of the castle into three sections coming from the front we’re going to the Back right corner to work on the bottom level of our big tall tower come one in from the very corner and build up one two three high out of smooth sandstone and then we’re going to do that on every corner so pretending that this is a square Now we’re going to build too high on our outermost walls these are the ones facing out from the square out of regular sandstone and then on the other two walls we’re just going to build on these two corners leaving three wide gaps these are for doors like we did on this One to fill in this gap in the wall we’re going to place um cut zones a cut sandstone here in here and fill it in with our sandstone then we’re going to grab birch buttons and put them on each of these cut sandstone and for these two walls here we’re just Going to finish it off with a little bit more sandstone next place chisel sandstone on each corner block and then on our back and side walls we’re going to place upside down smooth uh smooth stairs all the way across on our front side place the same but leave the middle open And place a birch plank and then on this side you want to come into the middle of your building and place one facing um into the sandstone like that that way and then when you click here and here to place more blocks you’ll create a nice curvy pattern create a simple door With our sandstone walls upside down sandstone stairs and a cut sandstone slab in the center and then add some gates for protection from mobs and for a final touch of detail at the back we are going to add our sandstone stairs like this hello little bunny we’re going to not do This on the front side because we’ve got our pergola to go there and then add some birch trap doors flicking them from the top and the bottom so that the little handle kind of decoration meets and this is underneath each cut sandstone and button now from inside this bill we are going To finish off the doorway with two uh cut sandstone and two sandstone walls before we continue upwards with our tower we’re going to create a floor pattern and to add some color we are using some glazed terracotta in the middle of each square so this one and the one over there Break a three by three hole and i’ll do this over here too and then create a design with our terracotta terracotta is a bit tricky to place but it’s all about the way you turn and to finish in this one let’s place these all going around facing That way and in the middle a shroom light you can cover this up with carpet if you like for the rest of the floor create a simple kind of checkerboard pattern out of cobblestone and stone okay time for the next section start by building up four high with our um Smooth sandstone on each corner of this new tower just like that then facing this other earlier tower we built we’re going to quickly create a floor out of regular sandstone and this is going to go over the um sandstone stairs here but not on the other three sides Now create the wall for this connecting wall here build three high out of cut sandstone leaving a gap on either side and in the middle then we’re going to break this fence because this is going to be our walkway out onto the balcony now fill in the walls with two sandstone And a sandstone slab adding a tiny little window for the other three walls we’re going to build up four high with our cut sandstone then place a slab on the upper level at the bottom and the lower level at the top in each of these gaps And fill it in with some spruce fences as an architectural feature and to add entry to the top level we’re going to create a staircase by placing upside down stair stair going down upside down stairs stair all the way down to the ground you can see we’re just on the edge of Our chunk border area oh this one’s a bit tricky place the upside up right side upstairs and the upside down stair and of course we’ll have to add entry by breaking those uh fences and replacing them with gates to top off this layer add birch planks in each corner And fill in the square with chiseled sandstone oh and don’t go into the doorway then place sandstone walls on each side of the birch planks like this fill in the roof of this layer with sandstone again you can use sandstone slabs if you’d like here to save in resources But it does mean you’ll have to find a way to hang a light on the inside and to finish it off add buttons on every side like this and on the front as well grab a sole lantern and hang that just over the staircase so you can see going up the stairs And finally add a um railing to our stairs with some birch trap doors do this on the inside too and of course at the top of the stair you can grab dirt um to place these blocks like so you might have to break this button too Perfect for the next layer of our castle we are going to go around the corners just like this creating little elves with sandstone then filling in each middle of these three with another block of sandstone and filling in the final blocks on each side with upside down stairs And do this all the way around or at this stage add some birch flip flaps on the corners like this now create the corner columns by building up two with smooth sandstone one with chisel sandstone and topping it off with another smooth and this is on every corner now on each Side create a wall with three high sandstone and a cut sandstone on the top and then some windows with two sandstone high like this then we need upside down smooth stones sandstone stairs right side up and an upside down one in the middle and don’t forget to fill it in with Glass and do this on the other walls as well the final thing to do here is to add some sandstone walls to the corners look at what we’ve created so far it’s almost done all we need to do is add the top um krennels and merlins And add our patio to finish off the tower start by creating a checkerboard pattern out of stone and cobble all the way across going right to the edges of this big square the square you created out a cobble and stone should be seven by seven then place sandstone stairs upside down All the way around wrapping right around the corner to create the classic sandcastle finish at the top place a cut sandstone um block across each leaving a gap like this i’ll just do two sides but we’ll do it on this side and this side as well whoops Then place a sandstone slab in between each of these and then skipping every second one we’re going to place some cut sandstone slabs and then on every other one place some walls with lanterns on top look at that all done it should look just like that Now to build our patio area looking in from our front where our dirt block is we’re coming to our front right corner and building the supports for our pergola move one in from the very corner and place cut sandstone chisel sandstone and another cut sandstone and then count five across one two three Four five and do the same thing on the sixth block just like so now connect these these supports with some sandstone walls and then we’re going to connect it to this wall remembering to leave a one block gap for our walkway we’re also going to place a sandstone wall On this side as well now take spruce fences and build too high on each of these sandstone supports and then build up on these corners with um some spruce so they match and are level one and you might have to break a trapdoor or two if they’re in the way Now connect all of these uprights with some fences and it’s time to get working on the covering bit this really is very simple but it’s very effective we’re taking our spruce slabs and placing them on top of each fence like this and then we are going to find our center Block which is this one here and go either side of it one layer down so it’s in line with these slabs here and just build all the way across so it meets up on the other side and it looks like that that looks great to finish up the construction of this covering We’re going to add some birch flip flaps here some cut sandstone on each corner and you can see that having these corners with the stairs is a common theme throughout the build and it helps tie everything together we’re also going to place a lantern on top of each one of these And a gate to create a nice little water feature here create a hole which is two by seven on the side closest to the very front and then find the middle of that hole and break out one by three rectangle here then we’re going to go all the way around with smooth sandstone Slabs a smooth sandstone stairs sorry making sure they all connect and go around the corners smoothly in this block in the center we’re going to break the sand and place a shroom light then we need to flood it with water and for a final touch of greeny Greenery for our water feature in this very sandy landscape and a little lily pad we’re going to make use of this final section of our build by creating a little pathway leading up to our house you can play around with the shape to get it just as you like here’s mine And we’re also going to make a path to this undercover area as well as some final details here i’m going to add some potted cactuses some growing cactuses and some lights to light the way up the path on top of some walls here our sandcastle’s looking great but it Needs a pop of color to do that we’re gonna use banners i’m using a whole assortment of vibrant colors but you can use whatever your favorite colors are place these on the pergola leaving the corner blocks free that way you still get to see some of the wood I’ve also come up to this little balcony on our smaller tower and i’m going to add some banners for colour up here too this is of course optional but i really think it makes a difference with having a pop of color up here wonderful let’s top our sand castle off with a big Flag a sandcastle isn’t complete without a flag i’m gonna build up one two three four five six seven high and then add two more on top for our flag to sit on and i’m going to use magenta and yellow wool to create a wavy pattern like this And i’m going to place a lantern at the bottom to light up this area oh that looks wonderful just adding some final cactuses and let’s look at our finished sandcastle look at that so now you know how to build this beautiful sand castle you can customize the colors to make it your own I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial today please remember to like and subscribe and i’ll see you later bye Video Information
