Hello wonderful skins/”>people today I’ll be showing you how to build a Japanese cherry blossom house this Grand build uses wonderful new 1.20 blocks for a really striking finish I’ll go step by step on how to create this and I’ll show you how I go about decorating the exterior of this build in A beautiful cherry biome let’s get creating for this build you’ll need the materials on your screen now if you don’t have access to Nether Brick you can substitute that for dark oak and I always recommend getting a few extra of each material just to make it easy when building Here’s the outline of our build it’s a 50 by 13 rectangle with a 15 long side being where we will have our door at the front of the build start by placing in an outline for the foundation of this build and I’ll begin by counting two blocks in from each Corner on either side like this and placing a chiseled stone brick now you can place in an outline like this using some sort of a contrasting block just to give you a better guide for this build you can see I’m then counting two blocks in from the ones at The front to place in two more of these chisel stone bricks which would leave us with a three block Gap in the center I’ll Place three Spruce stairs in that gap for the walkway up now I’m going to go around the rest of this outline using some stone brick stairs and some Mossy Stone brick stairs and I’m placing these in upside down it’s up to you at distribution of the mossy to non-mossy’s stone brick you use but I’ll just work my way around the outside of this build on to the last side now And the very last corner and then we have just these two now if you’ve gone and put in an outline you can grab whatever your foundation block underneath it is and fill in here so I’m going to grab a grasp but if you’re building this in say a spruce biome You’ll need to grab your puzzle just replace these blocks you also have the option of putting some stone brick underneath here if you want a more solid look to the bottom of these stairs it’s really up to you there you can play around with the blocks you replace here There we go I’m gonna then fill in with some Spruce planks foreign As we get closer to the front I’m going to come to these stairs here and add in some strip Spruce logs just coming two blocks back and then I can fill in around that And you should be left with a foundation that looks like this we’re going to start on our walls so I’m going to grab some cherry logs here and count two in and a diagonal from each corner to place in the base of my posts Just like that then at the front I’m going to count one block in on either side and add in another and I’ll do this on the back side as well so you should be left with a total of eight posts like this I’ll then build up another four high on Each one two three four so you’ll posts are a total of five blocks high Now that we’ve got that let’s add in some placeholders for our windows so I’m just using some pink wool here but any block will do even dirt so you can see there’s a one block above the ground and they’re two blocks high we have little one wide windows in these Gaps here and then we have larger three wide windows on the two side walls I also have the one wide windows in these gaps at the front and then I’m going to fill in a three by three area for where our door will be now that we’ve got These placeholders in we’re going to use a mixture of white wool and white concrete powder to fill in these gaps keep in mind that as we will be breaking these leader any concrete powder place on top will likely Fall so just have it there for now and then as we break and Replace we can always move back our concrete powder The idea here is just to get a randomized texture to give a little bit more interest to the walls Foreign To not make it exactly symmetrical so I’ll be looking at the walls opposite the one I’m working on to make sure it’s not matchy-matchy You can always take a step back and adjust your randomized texture until you have something that you’re happy with there we go and we’re on to our last wall now Perfect the base is in I’m first going to start by working on these side windows so I’ll come inside the build here and add in two trapdoors behind the placeholder blocks of the window I’ll then come outside and you can see that I’ve currently got a white Concrete powder above this part of the window I’m just going to move this over and replace it with a wool so it doesn’t fall when I break these placeholder blocks and I’ll do the same thing on this side as well like that I can then break the rest of My window blocks and it doesn’t matter that that one fell there because I’m going to be placing in some trapdoors and I can just place it back There we go like that and you should see it kind of Curves backwards that’ll allow us to put some decorations underneath that window later on going in with my trapdoors again on this side and we should be left with something that looks like this now for the rest of these windows I’m Placing the trapdoors on the outside of the build so I’ll go and place those in like this just clicking on my placeholder blocks I’ll then come inside and I’m going to use some Spruce signs to place behind these windows underneath the top block like this so I’m going to Break and place really fast but if you’re in survival just break let your sand fall and then you can replace the concrete powder once you’ve placed in your sign you’ll also need to remember how to hold shift when placing these signs in otherwise you’re going to be flipping your trapdoor In my concrete powder there and our very last one and done and I can break the rest of these pink wall blocks now let’s work on the doorway I’m going to come back out to the exterior of this build and start by placing in four of my Cherry wood stairs just like this in the corners then I’m going to place in a cherry trapdoor at the top you can break the rest of these placeholder blocks and add in a cherry trapdoor on either side this will create a circular looking opening I’ll then come inside the build to add In a little faux wall behind here using some Spruce trap doors you can see I’ve built them three high up and place one in the center and then I can place in my door from the outside clicking on this block here not the one in line with the Cherry stairs so our doorway should look like that for some more cherry detail I’m going to go with some cherry buttons on the bottoms of each of these little Cherry logs And then I’ll grab some cherry sides and I’m placing these one above the window I don’t want text on them so once I’ve got one in as I’m in Creative I can hit control and then my middle click button on my mouse so pushing down on the Scroll wheel to select the sign with no text on it and then I can just copy it over like this otherwise you can just place your sign and hit the done button each time as you go around to create a band like this now I’ve got some of my nether brick Walls and I’ll be placing these at the top on each of the Cherry logs they have a similar color tone to the Cherry logs purple Hue so it works really well for this build but if you don’t have the nether brick you could easily substitute this for some dark oak you just use Fences here and then I’m going to grab some more of these Cherry logs and I’ll be placing these on top of each of these chiseled stone bricks all the way around the build we’re going to create now I’m going to start by going in with some cherry stairs just placing them on Each of these logs like this [Applause] Now that we’ve got those in we’re going to start adding in some more details I’ll place a pink wool in the center of either side and add stairs to either side of that and then I can break my placeholder block and on the other side as well Then in those gaps I’ll add a cherry stair in the middle and then Cherry trapdoors to either side so it should look like this foreign there we go in each of the corners I’ll add in a cherry trapdoor Then we need to work on the back side of this build where we have this larger Gap so I’m going to start by placing inner some place all the blocks one here and one here and I’m going to place some stairs coming off of that [Applause] like this break these placeholder blocks And add in some more stairs now we have three gaps which will fill in with some cherry trap doors just like that from here I’ll take some more of these trapdoors and place them on the outer facing side of the Cherry logs and round at the front I’ll also place Them coming in towards the walkway once we’ve placed all those in I’m going to go on top with a stone brick wall And then one fence on top of that Once you’ve got all of these fences in we’re going to use a temporary block to place on top we’re going to be using these to place in some hanging signs just going all the way around with these And there we go now I’m going to be clicking on this temporary block with my cherry wood hanging sides to create something that looks like this if you’re in Creative you can then control and middle click on it to copy it without any text and continue placing these Along in survival you’ll just need to hit done each time you place one of these signs as you’re going along placing these you’ll need to make sure you are clicking on this small bar here to connect the signs I’m not going to connect these corners but I’ll move Around to the next side of the build This is a little bit of a slow process but it really is worth it there we go I’m going to leave the Gap above the walkway here and skip over to the other side and we’re on to the last side of the build now and there we go Now I’m going to replace these placeholder blocks with some cherry fences And our railing should look like this we’re now ready to get adding the Second Story on top of this level I’m going to start by going all the way around with some Spruce planks and filling in the hole of the roof now I’ll be going in Later to add in my ladder to this story so you can just fill in the whole thing for now of course you can always change the location of your ladder depending on how you end up decorating the interior of your build but you should have something like this I’ll then grab some cherry Logs and count one block in from the corner to place in the base of each post And then I’ll count one apart to place in some more posts so you should be left with a group like this I’ll then build another four on top of each one two three four if you’re enjoying today’s tutorial and would like to get some other awesome minecrafty benefits check out my patreon Where you can join my server get custom tutorials as well as well downloads okay now that we’ve got all of these in we can start adding in some windows and for this we’re going to need some cherry stairs on all of these gaps except for this Center one at the front I’ll be Placing in Two Cherry stairs like this one upright and then a gap and then one upside down Then for the center one at the front I’ll just be placing in the upside down Cherry stair then I’m going to be placing in my door I’ll place this from the interior onto the Block in between these two logs so it opens outwards like this and is Underneath the stair then in all the other gaps here I’ll place in a cherry trapdoor One layer of a mixture of white concrete and white wool on the top [Applause] Like this and you might want to grab some temporary blocks here but you can go ahead and place in some cherry logs I’m doing this by placing and breaking my block really fast but definitely it is a lot easier to place in a row of temporary blocks behind here to click on There we go such they should all be facing outwards like that I’m now going to come inside the build using some Spruce here and place in three Spruce stairs upside down along either side like that and then using some of these Spruce slabs I’m going to create the Floor for the third attic style story just placing it underneath these stairs once again we’ll add in our ladder later but it should be left for something that looks like that also using Spruce I’m going to create a band using some Spruce sides see about grabbing some of these and We’ll go all the way around the build So our house should be looking like this so far before we can add some more details to this top story we need to add the roof to this lower part of the build I’m going to start by creating the corners I’ll be placing a nether brick stair on top sorry another brick block On top of each of these fences here I’m then going to use some slabs to build my way up to a point like this where I’ll place a nether brick wall and once again you could substitute this nether brick for some dark oak then off of each of These blocks I’ll add in a stair so it should look like this I’ll then repeat this design on my other three corners Like that I’m then going to join up these Corners with some nether brick slabs and these are going to be placed just on top of the signs that we’ve added in there we go we’ve got an outline for our roof now we’ll switch to some Spruce I’m Going to be placing these on a layer up from this slab layer just going in a ring around the whole build once you’ve got this first layer in we’re going to grab some stairs and place them all the way around the next layer leaving out the corners And then in the corners we’ll place a slab You should be left with a really swoopy looking Japanese style roof with this in place I’m going to grab some cherry trapdoors to create a little railing for the balcony up the top here and I’m placing these on top of the stairs Once I’ve got them all in I’ll give them a flip so they’re facing upright And once we’ve got these all up you can check that you’ve got these trapdoors in the right space as you should be able to place a block between it and the wall all the way around now we can add the roof on top of this I’m going to start by placing in a ring of spruce slabs all the way around and you can see I’m placing these so they’re on the upper half of this Cherry log layer like that next I’m going to create some little walls for the points I’m placing In a trapdoor by clicking on this Cherry log here and then behind it I’m just going to create a little Point like this using a mixture of my white materials Like that I’ll then grab some Spruce stairs and I’m going to build up to a point at the top And on the other side I’ll use some upside down stairs just to smooth off the look you can see the center one is facing forward on top of this I’m going to go in with a long strip of my cherry logs extending one block off the end like that Now we want to mirror these points up on this roof here I’m going to start by clicking on these corners and coming up to a point where I can place my wall on top I’ll then come down from here and build all the way along over to the next point where I’m Going to do the same thing And you just want to connect everything up with the slab so it has a smooth look like this you could also go and do this by placing in the corners first you just want to find a system that works for you Down and come over and these sides here we’ve done the front side and we just need to do this side here Nice and pointy like that we’re going to add some points to the top roof here as well using some stairs this time upside down and right way up like this with a wall on top and on the other side as well and then in between I’m going to count One across and add in a slab and then one across again and add in another slab I’m gonna go in with some buttons here and I’ll place these one apart all the way along the log on either side So it should look like this next I’m going to grab some cherry wood hanging signs now you can use any placeholder block here I’m just going to use another one of my nether brick I’ll place in a sign like this and I can break the placeholder I’ll then go along and click in some more of these signs now you can see that if I click on the slab above it I’m going to get one of these signs with just the chains hanging down so I want to make sure I’m clicking on the sign Beside it so that way we get this bar forming and I’ll just go around all the sides of this wall and add in more of these Cherry signs It can be a little bit tricky to place as you can see but as you go around it really gives a very cool look And there we go we’re all the way around doesn’t that look great we still have some important details to add but I’m going to start by coming in and adding in my lattice I’ve also add in some light swollen in here so for this first letter I’m going to Come to this post here I’m going to walk up so my backs against the post and then click down with some trapdoors on the Block above here I’ll also need to place one on the floor I can then add my lattice going on top of this and break That block to go up to the next story now if you’re in Bedrock Edition and can’t place ladders on trapdoors like this you could hang some Vines down that would look really cool or you could just place a row of blocks here up we go to the next level now if I go Ahead and break here you’ll see that there’s a stair in the way so the next ladder will need to be moved one block over beside the door and they can break in and go up to the next story while I’m up here I’ll add in some lights and I Think I’ll add in some cherry blossom pots on either side also come down and on this story I’m going to be using some torches to light up there we go let’s head back out and add some details to the rest of this build I’m going to start by using some Spruce Strap doors and going all the way around and placing them on top of this banister I’m being careful to make sure they’re all facing the same direction because you’ll see if they rotate they’ll have a different looking texture There we go now let’s add in some pots I’m using some decorated pots here these ones don’t have a design in it but you could use any of the Fantastic designs available there we go now to place these cherry blossom saplings into these decorative pots you just click on top with a Regular pot and then place your cherry blossom in that you’ll see if I don’t place this flower pot first I can’t click and place anything inside There we go I’m also going to add some smaller pots to these two windows here and here we go like that and it’s already looking beautiful let’s go in with some lighting now I’m going to hang some lanterns from each of these Corners one chain down Repair the hole I’ve broken to my roof and then I’m gonna hang some more lanterns on the Second Story Once Again from the very corner then at the top of the spelled I’m going to hang a lantern straight off of these logs on either side and then I’m going to hang a lantern Above the doorway here in the center I’m just going to add some walls here to define the entryway and now I’m going to start doing some Landscaping I think I’ll begin by placing in a long winding path leading up to this beautiful build I finished adding some decorations to The outside of this build so let’s have a look at what I’ve done you can see I’ve added a swooping pathway going up the mountain towards my house and add the entry to this pathway I’ve created these two lanterns using some cherry blossom trapdoors and some stone bricks Which tie in well with the build and have placed a Latin inside you can also see that for the pathway itself I’ve used a mixture of gravel and then some Coral blocks for extra texture and the drifting cherry blossom leaves really add to the Ambiance of the space let’s Take a walk up and we can walk underneath this cherry blossom and nether brick Tory gate which again ties in with the colors of the build oh isn’t it pretty up here you can see I’ve created some smaller lanterns for this part of the build using some cherry wood as well as Trapdoors a frog light as well as some Stone breaker and I’ve created these in several places around the build you can see I’ve placed them around my little zen garden here where I’ve also got some stones the whole effect is really balanced as we have some larger elements on this Side with the Tory gate as well as some large elements on this side with the Zen Garden balance is key for this kind of build but we’ve got a lot of symmetry going on I began created some Symmetry by placing three little custom cherry blossom trees In these pots on either side of the build and you can see I made the central one on each side higher just for a little bit of extra difference in height I’ve placed in some of these floating lanterns little groups of three on either side and I’ve got these at staggered height And then for Greenery you can see I’ve surrounded the build in little clumps of bamboo these really have a vibrant color and it creates nice backdrop separating the pink of the house from the pink of the cherry trees behind it I’ve also placed in some of these azalea bushes as Well as some of these peonies now you could use some of the cherry blossom leaves here but I think having a little bit of a difference in color using this vibrant green is a really great way to break up the color scheme and these peonies work really well with the color Scheme as well one thing I like to do is I have lots of lush Greenery on the ground around my build as well so I’ve got grass covering the ground as well as these pretty pink petals now I haven’t done any other planting around the place here as these Pink petals really are the showstopper and the grass just adds a little bit more texture to the ground to stop things from being too flat let’s have a look at this build at night doesn’t that look magical the floating lanterns add a beautiful glow to the whole top of this Build and then the lanterns we’ve got highlight the decorative elements we’ve got around the outside you could even hang some lanterns from your Tory gate like this to light up the pathway in this area and if you’d like to add a little bit more light to this front Walkway you could hang a lantern underneath this roof but the whole thing is just magical one idea for lighting up the cherry blossom biome behind your build is to tuck some pearlescent frog lights in the trees you’ll see if I just break in a little bit here and add in a frog light And then cover it up with some leaves you can hardly see the light but it really lights up the area so you could go around and add these to the trees to spawn proof your base so now you have a beautiful Japanese cherry blossom house if you enjoyed Today’s video I’d really appreciate it if you give it a like And subscribe it really helps me out and check out my
