JayDeeMC – How to Craft and Use Tipped Arrows! | Easy Minecraft Potions Guide

Hello everybody welcome back to my channel my name is jd and today we’re doing another easy minecraft tutorial this time i’m going to show you how to craft and use tipped arrows now what are tipped arrows basically they’re arrows that can have things like poison regeneration and so on and actually

You do need to use some potions to make them so what you need to do first of all is you need to have some lingering potions i’ve chosen invisibility speed and instant damage to demonstrate for you but uh to make lingering potions well there is quite a long process so

I did make a video last week about this so please check that in the top right hand corner and you can see how to make lingering potions so for this you do not need the brewing stand all you need are some arrows you need eight arrows and one of

These so i’ve got invisibility right there so i’ve got eight arrows of invisibility now you’ll notice let’s look at this one here uh for swiftness 45 seconds let’s put that in there 22 seconds for instant damage there is no duration but it is less effective as the potion

In many cases not all cases so usually the duration is shorter the effectiveness is less all right i’m going to demonstrate this in survival i’ve got so many creepers around me um if you just use a bow like this all you use is a regular arrow what you need to do

Is have them in your off hand so i’m gonna use invisibility first of all so let’s get the cow invisible cow uh how about that creeper invisible creeper um this lasts what 22 seconds and one thing you’ll also notice is i’m using up using these up you even if you have uh

In if you have uh infinity it doesn’t work with this all the cows back okay so let’s change oh he’s back let’s change to speed i’m really curious how a fast creeper is i just want to see this how about the cow i didn’t mean to kill it okay come on

Um are you gonna yeah he’s faster he’s faster that’s funny just watching them go faster it’s kind of weird uh the other one it’s kind of scary too instant damage this one will of course provide them with more damage than the regular arrow so that is nice so you see one hit dead

One hit that is great gotta love this of course i’m in uh survival right now and i’m surrounded by them and that’s the tipped arrow now you can put them in dispensers and they’ll fire when triggered but um one thing you have to be careful about is that they

Do damage the target uh not just the effects of the potion on it so let me know when you like to use these and have you ever used a tipped arrow because they are not easy to get you need dragon’s breath you need to make lingering potions
