You guys what is up my name is jira Croft and this is kingdoms of greyman pretty much how it once was over 10 years ago I’ve actually downloaded a mod to max out the render distance just so that you can see how much this project has transformed over the years honestly It is just quite insane to be able to see the full scale of this map and just the sheer amount of hard work and progress up to this point now finally with episode 41 we’re going to be building some new additions as well as transforming some very old and outdated Builds by the end of this episode we’ll get to travel into the Fortress to once again update the map and witness just how much progress we’ve made I’m honestly quite excited to be back so without further Ado let’s jump straight into it now the best part is we are finally Updating this project to the caves and cliffs update I know we’re really far behind but we now have even more space underground and of course the mountain no longer reaches the max build height so the very first thing we’re going to do is find out how much taller we can go While also attempting to fix the landscape as well as including some better detail and why not bring back a bit of snow I’ve always thought the mountain was a bit too short for this kind of build and honestly I think this looks much better than the previous design Now unfortunately this is just an illusion because the back of the mountain is a complete disaster I don’t have words for this it’s just a big clumpy mess of grass not to mention the interior of the mountain is even worse ever since we built this giant throne Room so even though it’s going to take a huge amount of effort I decided to get rid of the entire landscape and very carefully fix the exterior of this giant block just to make sure everything is nice and tidy so then we can very easily upgrade the landscape without causing too much chaos Inside the king’s Hull once I’ve planned out the basic shapes and layout that’s when we can take the sprawling Mountain Top a step further and start throwing in all kinds of extra details trees plants and even some new waterfalls cascading down into the valley below I swear this Is like my best attempt at trying to be the Bob Ross for Minecraft But honestly I just thought this was going to take about two hours and I was insanely wrong with my prediction I have a bit of an obsession with perfection and detail and despite spending over 25 hours building this one mountain I still feel like there’s plenty of room for improvement So if the mountain almost completes we can head over to the dockyard to finish off building this winding path that will finally connect the road to the rest of the mountain I put in so much work into this but we now have a path that leads All the way to one of the oldest Builds on this project pretty much on the opposite side of the mountain I mean this has to be one of the last buildings left to transform and let’s just say it’s a bit ugly the building was supposed to be a sort of Tavern where Travelers could stop by and get some rest before heading further out of the city now I have kept the original design just because this is pretty much a landmark at this point it’s one of the oldest buildings on the map but we could transform this area into a village Sometime in the future now honestly I can go about building and detailing this entire landscape for the next 600 hours but we seriously need to move on or else this entire episode is going to turn into a Bob Ross painting but just take a look at the huge huge difference between The old mountain and the new Mountain already I think it just desperately needed this upgrade Thank you so I think it’s finally time for phase two and actually head straight into the mountain where there’s a secret build that some of you might not even know about and that’s because it’s hidden right under the flooring of the main hall this hidden passageway leads Straight down into an old mine shaft which I basically built over 10 years ago if we continue onwards from here you will find a massive hole which was inspired by the minds of Moria now obviously this build is incredibly outdated but there’s nothing to worry about because your boy has some major Plans for this episode so if we head back upstairs into the throne room which by the way I did make some minor changes too but nothing too crazy the good part is that everything is still perfectly intact from the mountain transformation I mean for the most part but Unfortunately things are about to get extremely chaotic as I need to find the best way to connect this hole to the lower mines I don’t want to freak you guys out but in order to build this brand new entrance I had no option but to destroy parts of the throne room it’s Seriously the only way to get Town into the mines of Moria while also allowing just enough space for this next massive build now I know this is a little absurd and you might just think there would be better ways of doing this but trust me this took so many hours of mindless Calculations and complicated measurements just to get this massive spiraling staircase to line up perfectly with the entrance into the mines I’ve actually decided to use a different set of blocks for this just to create a darker creepier looking theme of course I really like the look of this we have a Giant changed Lantern hanging down from the ceiling and just a bunch of candles spiraling down the staircase if we continue our way down to the bottom floor we can simply break through this wall and as you can see we now find ourselves perfectly aligned with this absolutely gigantic hole now of course The throne room did take a bit of damage but nothing that we can’t easily fix thank you so this is all starting to come together quite nicely I just wanted to give you guys a quick fly through to show you some of the progress we have clearly Done quite a huge upgrade compared to how things were before but this project is about to get a whole lot crazier as we try and decide what on Earth we’re going to do with this massive haul I do have a rough idea so we’re going to start this off with two massive statues Guarding the entrance just trying to use up as much of the free space as possible Foreign the statues were inspired by this build I found on Google and I’ve just made it a bit better let’s just say I’ve Incorporated my own style so now it’s just down to redesigning the pillars to match with the rest of the theme I’m still not even fully convinced about These dark looking colors but it’s a bit too late to turn back now the size of this build is already getting absolutely insane I know I get carried away quite a lot but this has to be the biggest addition to kingdoms of gaming to date but I definitely have to admit it is Looking pretty incredible the sheer scale of this room is so ridiculous it even broke through the surface of the mountain but I mean compared to what’s already been built it isn’t really a big deal so I just basically expanded on the mountain range so all I have to do now is very Carefully finish up all the final details of this massive hole building everything from fire pots to Giant detailed banners pretty much fixing any missing parts improving the Floor Designs the ceiling and anything I can find that pretty much just needs some extra work now you must be wondering what’s the Point of this gigantic hole anyway well I’ve always wanted to build the grand treasure hall because of course Lord greymane is one of the richest kings that ever lived so the idea is to build this entire Fortune within the deep dark mines now to get the most out of this Idea I’ve gathered a bunch of treasure themed player heads and we’re going to be using them in combination with a bunch of different blocks and items to start introducing Stacks upon stacks of treasure so we’re basically building a giant Vault filled with gold coins and treasures honestly it was a bit of a Crazy experiment and of course this took a tremendous amount of effort especially when it comes to adding the smaller details even using invisible item frames to add extra bits of treasure scattered across the floor I soon realized that building gaps between the treasure piles looked much nicer than just randomly Scattering blocks across the entire Hall this actually gives you some interesting paths to walk across as you explore the mountain of riches Even after spending tons of hours building just piles of treasure I still wasn’t entirely convinced I don’t know if it’s just the fact I don’t like some Of these blocks obviously it would be amazing if Mojang updated Minecraft with piles of coins and other decorations but for now this is the closest option we’ve got so I decided to finish off this build with a giant treasure chest smack in the center of the hole just to act as The main centerpiece the chest of course was stolen from the land of the Giants I just made that up but look I just really like the look of this it fills up the empty space and finally completes the project now I know some of you guys are Going to be asking about the dragon but I’m gonna be honest with you I don’t like the idea of a blocky looking lizard if the dragon was animated then yes that would be absolutely amazing but built out of blocks is just not realistic and not my kind of style for this particular project So at this point I think it’s time to head back outside because I did ask you guys on a YouTube show to vote on one new addition to the project I gave you guys three options a cemetery next to the cathedral a stone quarry up in the mountains or some Farmland on the Outskirts of the city of course the Farms took first place with the stone quarry in second now I know you guys wanted me to build all three but like I did not expect to spend so many hours transforming an entire Mountain so we’re just gonna save those other options for A later episode to be fair I’ve been mentioning farms for quite a few episodes now so I’m kind of glad this build won the vote I mean this new addition makes for a large portion of the project of course the Farmland is a peaceful tranquil Place built using different layers of Wheat berries and plenty of vegetables but I’ve made sure to pay close attention to detail adding all kinds of unique features across the valley just scattering a few houses rocks paths lines of trees even a few flower beds and honestly it’s just turned out looking much better than expected this Is easily some of the best Farmland I’ve ever created by the way this one section of Farmland took over 27 hours to build it does cover quite a lot of space so I think it’s finally time we update the map with obviously a lot of space to fly across But this is the final result of today’s adventure I just also wanted to show you the 3D map viewer just because it looks much better and you can see all the progress we’ve made in today’s episode of course you can download this project on patreon or by using the official store at geracraft.net Video Information
