Hey guys what’s up J wispier and welcome to episode 7 of the Minecraft 1.16 survival let’s play here we are back in our world and there’s lots of things to go over so the first thing I want to talk about is the dogs so I’ve been

Asking for names for the dogs and I said that I would name the dog whatever comment got the most likes and the comment that got the most likes was from a person named Alpha X and they said and named the dog at D wisp for dog wisp and

As dumb as that sounds it got the most likes so I have to do it but also it’s kind of grown on me I think it’s kind of funny so we’re gonna name our dog my name tag is somewhere in here I got it

In a chest a little bit ago ok there it is let’s grab this dog d wisp and there we go now this is only for the one dog we also got a second dog in our last episode and I also said give name suggestions for this dogs

I got a few but if you guys want to give name suggestions to let me know down in the comments for this video and I will try to find a name tag or at least to come up with a name for this dog by the next episode besides that we also have

Some changes in the world I mentioned it briefly in the last episode but I just want to state it again I am uploading or updating this world as the snapshots get released so this world is currently on the snapshot that came out yesterday 20w 17a

Seems to be a lot better and a little bit more bug fixes which means when they get onto the bug fixes that they are going to release the update soon however I still have a few issues like my armors enchanted but it doesn’t look enchanted but my tools are enchanted and those

Looking chanted so I’m not sure what’s up with that kind of weird the last thing is I also did a little bit of work off-camera here at the village I bonemeal DUP around the place to get a lot of flowers I worked on some paths and some small details so I thought I’d

Show it off so in the last episode we built this church we both the two smaller houses and then we built the longhouse but what I did went out was gone as I bonemeal this area up don’t know why that grass blocks there though it’s kind of weird to get some flowers and

Some grass I think it looks really nice I also worked on some pathways so I did stick with normal just path block but then to spice it up and make sure to make it actually look kind of nice I used some coarse dirt I used some stone buttons to act as

Kind of like rocks on the road I’ve put some gravel periodically and I also got some mossy cobblestone from the dungeon I found and so you know I used some mossy cobblestone to act as rocks and then also right here I don’t know if I quite like this but I wanted a little

Bit of like a boulder or large rock on the side of the pathway and I think it looks okay I think it looks rather good um and also besides that I did add two little huts so I added this little hut with a barrel that would kind of act as

Like a small fishing shop which will go along with the fishing hut I’m building today so they’ll actually be a villager here and then also I made this little meat shack I just put a smoker there I’m hoping to get some villagers and hopefully the villagers will take on the

Job and stand around here again we only have one villager in the village so far because he just happened to be here but we do have our villager breeder and I think once I get a few more villagers maybe I’ll expand the villager breeder and also once we get some protection in

The village I will release them and oh it’s like gosh they keep destroying their farm let’s fix that really fast pretty much the plan for I didn’t know I had this here pretty much the plan for how I’m going to protect the villagers is two different things one I want to

Make a few iron golems and put them throughout the village just to make sure the villagers are protected and then the second thing I want to do is eventually make a wall around this village and I think the wall will definitely help I’ll light it up all inside so no mobs spawn

But I think as long as I make a few iron golems that we should be safe one of these issues I’ve had in my previous world is that my village was in the spawn chunks and the spawn chunks are the few chunks around where you spawn

And no matter where you go in the world those chunks are constantly loaded so that means if you have a village in the spawn chunks which I did it’s constantly loaded so if you’re far away or if you’re in the nether mobs can spawn when you’re gone and you can’t protect your

Village what’s nice about this village is this village is not in the spawn chunks and so if I’m here I can protect the villagers but if I’m gone the village is not loaded and villagers will not die so I don’t think I need a giant village wall and the

Higher area lit up that might look a little weird I think I’m going to experiment a lot a few villagers out of the villager breeder make some iron golems and see if that protects the villagers enough but besides that let’s get started with some of the projects I

Want to work on in this episode the first thing I wanted to do was make a little bit of a fishing hut I’m not sure where I can quite make it there’s a few areas around here that might work but there’s not like a huge flat area next

To a pond so I’m gonna figure out an area maybe what right here would be good I don’t know we can connect it to the village some kind of area for a fishing Hut and see what looks nice all right so I’ve been looking around trying to find

A place for a fishing hut because I wanted to make one but I don’t have the best area I was gonna originally make it over there like I said but I don’t like that area because it’s in the dark oak forest and there’s nothing wrong with

The dark oak forest I’m just not a huge fan of when you start getting close that the grass gets super dark even if you let light in and I don’t know it just looks like this weird dark green I’m not a fan so I actually found a new area

That I think would be a little bit better right over here towards the end of this river we have this little place where it ends and I think right at the end of the river would be a great place let me show you a land of course that’s

To start raining but so the river goes all the way from over there all the snakes over here and ends right here so I’m thinking actually if I flatten out this area a bit round here like maybe from here flatten out this hill I can make this look really nice and I should

Be able to make the fishing hut so I’m gonna do that really fast and be back with you guys once I finish excavating at this area all right so I’ve taken the time to clear out this entire area quick tip also 1.16 minutes so hoes are the

Official tool to break leaves so you can break the leaves super quickly with them like it’s crazy I literally only have an iron hoe and it just totally demolishes now it doesn’t give you leaves it just breaks them quickly but here we go I’ve flattened out the area I tried to make

The pond look a little more uh I don’t know I mean it doesn’t look a totally natural but it doesn’t look totally man-made either I don’t like when things look man-made but it’s alright we have a big flat area now so that we can make this little fishing hut I think it’ll

Turn out really good it’ll also look a lot better around here once all this dirt finally gets grass just spread on it but now that I’ve cleared out this area I think it’s time that we grab them materials and get started on this Hut all right so here we

Go I’ve gathered some materials and I’ve also kind of built a sort of base for this fishing Hut to sit on so if you want to make this build this is what I have I was just experimenting with some designs I didn’t want a perfectly square

Shape so I messed around with some stuff and I came up with this now I haven’t fully finished the house but I’ll finish it in my head I’ll be able to figure it out so what I want to do is where each of these logs are I’m gonna raise them

All three blocks above the ground and these are just kind of you know gonna be the posts that actually support the hut you know everything like that and so this is the general shape it’s pretty much just a normal rectangle but right here I’m gonna have the entrance

I’m actually not gonna have a door I’m gonna have a very open you know fishing Hut design I think it’ll look the best so next what I’m gonna do is to fill in all these top parts I’m actually going to use logs but to make it look a little

Better what I’ll actually do is strip these logs I actually don’t build with strip logs a lot so I want to start building with them more and I thought this would be a great way to start incorporating them into my builds so we have that looking

Pretty good so far that’s kind of the ceiling and then what I’m actually going to do for part of the floor is to actually use barrels I think this looks really cool I think it looks really nice I first saw it in my friend’s fishing

Hut design Alex t’n I will link him down below I think it looks really good so shout out to him for kind of showing me this you know it seems weird using all barrels but once you add the next step which I want to do it looks really nice

So when I was experimenting with designs I found that here let’s make some sticks really fast using instead of windows fences looks really good that’s what I’ve always done with fishing huts but whenever I use oak fences it looks really weird they look too light-colored so what I’m gonna do

Is actually use spruce fences and these will act as not necessarily windows but just you know little peek holes to look into the fishing hut so after that what I’m going to do next is Alissa actually craft some spruce planks I did craft some before but I don’t have to be

And we’re just gonna use this for the ceiling I’m gonna do like a little overhang for the ceiling here and not gonna fill in the corners overhangs always make roofs look way better so make sure you check that out okay what the heck is going on with the rain

And this world just doesn’t forgive me today hold on let me finish this roof well he can go sleep really fast I think we can skip the rain since it got kind of dark we should be okay let’s head into the house really fast there should

Be a bed in here actually I don’t think any villagers are gonna take it up there we go okay now that we got that out of the way we finished the little overhang so what I’m gonna do now is just fill up the rest of this the reason I’m using

Spruce for the roof you know it kind of fits with the build plus we have this very light cream-colored oak wood and then this is this kind of dark spruce wood on top of it really looks nice I don’t know just the colors I think look really good together I like all this

Rough wood together I didn’t want to use any stone in this fishing hut design and there we go that’s pretty much all I wanted to do I think this looks good I’m proud of it I think this is a nice little fishing hut we can decorate it we can make it

Look a little better obviously we have this little dock here so I think what we can do is make an actual fishing dock which is why I actually got myself some campfires because if you place the camp fires and then hit it with your shovel you get this really nice kind of crossed

Design oh I forget how did I do it last time I don’t know I might actually just be able to do it like this and it’ll look good oh god didn’t mean to do that oh I hate the mist placing campfires because then how do I place them so

They’re all facing the same way I can make more campfires it’s okay do I have to place them like sideways jeez if I just place it forward it doesn’t face the same direction let me try this oh there we go I have to place

It like that okay I see now but if you look here it looks just like a fishing dock so I’m gonna experiment with some fishing dock designs and see what I end up liking okay so I’ve messed around with some designs over there I actually left some

Fishing docks over there but I’m gonna show you guys what I think looks really nice so I’m putting two logs there and then I’m gonna put a few more where should I end it let’s end it like right here I think this will be good let’s see how many blocks this is

Two three four let’s go out like one more I want it to be a little bit longer this is just gonna be a nice little dock so let’s break this really fast and then what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna continue the campfires and I’m gonna play some

Like this so it looks like they’re kind of continuous and then let’s just place a block really here really fast just so we can place the first row of campfires all right there we go and then the second row of campfires all right cool and then just shovel them

All down there we go all that’s so satisfying I don’t know why I think that’s so fun something about it and then I’m gonna but we need some slabs make some more spruce slabs I had more but I left them over there in a chest let’s just plug those down really fast

And then to finish this off the finishing touch to any fishing dock which I always add our trapdoors and adding trapdoors it makes it look so much better you can either add oak or spruce both work out very well but I’m gonna use oak I think it just looks a

Little bit better I’ve used a lot of spruce wood in this build but I want to look for this dock and there we go I think that looks pretty good I mean there are better ideas I usually just use planks and honestly it looks pretty good

But I like the campfire I don’t use campfires too often I like the campfire look actually let’s maybe like leave a campfire out here or something you know I don’t know something like that you know you know what I mean and then we can give it a little bit more

Room so it looks a little bit more natural not as forced and there we go overall I think that looks pretty good I mean these just act as like little seats maybe something like that here’s the fishing dock here’s this we can I guess we can add a little bit of detail in

Here to it actually we probably shouldn’t add a barrel that looks kind of weird we can’t however keep this crafting table in there that’ll probably look nice and then if I add a chest somewhere in here that might look good and also why don’t we we have some sticks why

Don’t I grab some leather make some item frames and we can put some fishing rods and fish in that Hut all right I got some item frames some fishing rods one for me and the one for a decoration why don’t we also kill some salmon over here

And we can kind of display them where they’re only two thought there were more I mean to still good I just didn’t want to kill all of them but I guess you got to do what you got to do more will probably spawn in the future so let’s

Head back I can see how to do this we can also probably get some XP and enchant a fishing rod and see how that looks the only downside about fishing is I don’t know this is more aesthetic I doubt I’ll actually fish much especially since afk fishing isn’t really that good

Anymore it used to be a pretty valuable you know option for getting stuff however lately with 1.16 the newest update you can no longer get fishing or afk fishing what is it called farms they don’t work you can’t yeah I mean there are some bigger ones that take up a lot more

Space but they’re not nearly as efficient as afk Farms used to be and so it just kind of sucks but there we go I think the item frames look really good maybe put this one like on the inside there since the other ones just on the

Side oh yeah that looks good I like that on the inside we can also put one to act like it’s a little painting we can just put a little can I have a camp oh that I can I can do that okay what should I add just like actually it’s something random

Shouldn’t I or a barrel is that look good I don’t know I’ll add the fish I would add the fishing rod but I want this for myself I want to enchant it I want to change it right now because I don’t have the levels but I’m curious if

I was to enchant it what would I get unpretty not even that good and it looks like if the village of breeders working so well we also have cats spawning so maybe I can use the fish in the future to get some of the cats that might be a
