Hello guys and welcome back to another episode today I’m going to be teaching you how to be the most open minecraft player there ever was with potions because potions are opie guys I’m going to quickly have a little nap here with 20 dudes looking at me while I’m

Sleeping it’s a tiny bit creepy but sure let’s all stand around and while he sleeps that’s fun all right guys it’s seriously potions are extremely Oh pain minecraft no matter what you’re playing if you’re playing vanilla playing Survival playing whatever factions pvp whatever you want I guarantee potions will be able to help

You out so hopefully me explaining potions to you this episode will be able to help you improve on your minecraft skills actually before I get started on the potions I’m gonna quickly show you the adjustments I made to town because for to make potions you actually need a

Lot of ingredients and I didn’t want to run out of the ingredients so I set up a quick nether Ward farm and when it gets to these fully grown ones here you just gotta hit him and you get more than one back so I’ve got a ton now and then you

Just replay into them like that and you’re good to go you basically you’ll never run out of nether water once you’ve got a little farm like that set up and over here I went and got some more resources for this video so I was fully prepared because it did take a bit

Of preparation for this particular one and in here is my mushrooms I just chucked a couple mushrooms down there cuz I’m gonna use them in my potions but I didn’t want to use them all so I’ve got some down there growing and that needs to be more dark that’s why I was

Blocking this up but I don’t do too well I guess we should just chuck some dirt on top of it or something it’s just Chuck a piece of nether AK I’ll get rid of this go go to that and that should do it mushrooms just need to be in a dark

Enclosure to grow but I’m not focusing on that this episode I’m just telling you about the ingredients over here we have some sugarcane which is also used for potions while the sugar is anyway and yeah so I did become way more prepared to this episode than the

Previous one guys so don’t worry we are good to go look at all this this is all the possible ingredients you could want to make any type of potion the only ingredient are missing is what is it called glistering melon or something it’s the melon with the gold ingots around it

You build it let’s pretend this is a melon these are gold ingots you go like this oh sorry guys oh so it’s a bit blocked I’ve got a bit of a cold but yeah so there’s where you put the melon that’s where you’d put the gold ingots and that makes blistering

Melon but I didn’t have any melons so I couldn’t actually make that for you today guys but I will be covering every other type of potion so to start off what you want to do the key ingredient to every potion is nether wart so we’re gonna grab that endo in inventory here

Where you’re going to put the mushrooms in there that’s also an ingredient the mushrooms and now what you want to do is you want to put a nether water in the top here and three water bottles at the bottom you see what I did already is

I’ve already done that I did it last episode for you guys I just put one up here and three water bottles and bam it makes awkward potions and now these are basically the base unit for every potion now what I want to do is I want to add a

Secondary ingredient and I’ve got a ton to choose from here let’s just go ahead and convert this into what we want them for I think I had the gold there for night vision potions let’s go ahead and do that real quick I’ll turn it into gold ingots that should be enough and

How do we do this again where’s my carrots I need some carrots you put a carrot in the middle you surrounded by gold ingots just like that and you get golden carrot so that’s one of my potion ingredients that I’m going to be using what else should I make while I’m here I

Think I should turn this into sugar and I think I need a piece of I need a blaze pad I need one blaze powder let’s do that putting a blaze run in there and we’ll grab two bits of blaze powder but we’ll keep the rest as rods in case we

Want to make another brewing stand and to make sugar put the sugarcane band that converts into sugar all right I think I’ve got all the ingredients we need I think that was pretty much everything you want to help with the potions buddy you’re already dressed up

In your white lab coat good to see eleven emeralds for compass you’ve got to be me well okay thank you you’re amazing all right so what potion should I cover first guys oh I forgot the fermented spider eyes I was gonna do that you might forget how to make this I

Know it’s sugar it’s a mushroom I think it’s a brown mushroom let’s get the brown mushroom out and yeah so it’s brown mushroom here I think sugar here and then the last ingredient was a spider I were okay forgetting an ingredient don’t have any spiders no that can’t be serious

I don’t have any spider eyes oh there was so many spiders around please be spot on here insects naw I don’t have the last ingredient for it guys Oh add that to the end of the video I’ll be making the fermented spider eyes at the end of the

Video and that just involves these these two resources here and the spider eye which I didn’t actually have I thought I had some guys sorry about that all right sorry next potion well sure I’m thinking about to build first let’s go ahead and make a simple one I’ll show you how this

Works we will make a strength potion so what you want to do is what do we want for strength potion we should probably grab all the ingredients out dump some of this in here there we go strength potion you just need these awkward potions here that we’ve already

Made with the nether wart and then you need to add blaze powder so I’m gonna grab one of my blaze powder and put it in the top now that’ll show it cooking and when this gets to the bottom all three of these potions will be turned to strength

Potions I’m gonna go and quickly dump all this other random I have in the chest so I don’t have to keep sorting it out to do d rid of all that get rid of everything not potion related there we go that should do us run back here to

See if our strength potions already and are they ready open yes they are look at that guys three strength potions as you can tell it says three minutes and three minutes is actually the normal time for the basic strength potions but we can increase that and what you can do is

Either chuck a redstone powder or glowstone dust in now these are the two ingredients you can add to a strength potion the glowstone dust will make it so the strength potion is called strength two and it will give you more attack damage and if we add the redstone

Dust it’ll make the strength potions last longer so see at the moment they last for three minutes if we add the redstone they’ll last longer and if we add the glowstone dust that’ll make them more stronger so let’s go ahead and put a glow stone in there first and that

Should make them strength 2 which will give you more attack damage and then if we were to add a redstone dust that’ll increase the duration now I haven’t actually made them in a long time so I don’t know if you can increase the potency to make them strength to and

Then increase the time as well I think you either have to choose one or the other but we’ll try it anyway so look here their strength too now and they give you two hundred and sixty percent attack damage so that is absolutely mental that gives you crazy attack bonus

So you never lose a battle if you go to strength potion on but what I want to show you here is if I put the redstone in this should change it to see how it only goes for one minute 30 now and before was three minutes the redstone

Should make the duration longer and this applies for any potion once you’ve made a potion you add redstone to make it last longer or you add glowstone to make it the next level up the net more potency so there we go it did change it back to strength one but it made it

Eight minutes so that’s exactly what I thought I would do and that pretty much explains it for you guys so make your potions add redstone if you wanted to last longer add glowstone if you want them to be stronger but have less duration see now there’s eight minutes

But only strength one sorry let’s get rid of these in your inventory we will add a bunch of new water bottles make sure to always do three at a time guys because otherwise you’re wasting ingredients the next potion will do is regen I think so for a regen potion we

Always start with a nether wart as I said guys except for that one they uses a fermented spider eye which I’ll be covering at the end of the video but so this one I’m making now is a regeneration potion first step nether wart on him to turn them into awkward

Potions or whatever it is and I think if you screw up your potions it turns them into mundane potions or something instead of awkward potions I don’t think I’ve stuffed any up for a while I so I’m not even sure of the name of that but

I’m pretty sure if you screw it up by putting in the wrong ingredient turns into a mundane potion but here we go we’ve got the awkward ones then what you want to do is add a ghast here so this will be making a region potion have hopefully I’m not a hundred percent sure

On that but hopefully they do make a regen potion well soon see in a second and I am going to go through every single potion this episode dies so you will learn how to make every potion and learn how to make them as opie as possible come on regen yes so we’ve got

A 45 second regen potion alright that’s pretty good that’s pretty good but as I said guys the glowstone will make it a stronger region I think it regions plus one heart every 1.5 seconds or something so it does regenerate your hearts a lot quicker so the glowstone is good for

This particular one and redstone would of course increase the duration but for regeneration I’m gonna have to say the glowstone options better so that’s what we’re going to add to get regeneration two potions here alright so so far we’ve made strength potions which were just adding a bit of blaze powder to

Netherwart and now the regen potions which was a gas tea to the nether wart and of course the two options at the end to either extend it or increase the potency of it there we go guys regeneration – it doesn’t last as long but it increases your hearts a lot

Quicker and that’s what I’m gonna use them for I use them for clutch moanin moments when you’re like oh oh snap I’ve gotta heal up on the ASAP so you drink your regeneration potion and regions all your hearts really quick alright next potion what should we do here let’s go

With swiftness they’re an easy one to make we need to get some more plane potions I’m actually running out of the water bottles this is no good but as always guys the nether wart first is it nearly nighttime wow this videos going quick I’m sorry for the start there I started

Off a bit slow I probably should have been going hard out strained of the potions but let’s have a quick sleep here all they did was put the nether wart in so you not miss him too much if you shut the door on me huh huh buddy

Yeah you’d be pissed off I’m gonna keep punching you all right back here we get our awkward potions and now I’m gonna teach you how to make a swiftness I believe it’s just the sugar I haven’t actually made one of these in a long time cuz on my servers I sell

Swiftness potions at the front of spawn so actually having it to make one but I think it’s just sugar and you get sugar from the sugarcane so I mean no one should have problem making speed pots and see if it worked though I’m not gonna be talking too quick here there we

Go yet did 20 percent speed there and I don’t like moving too fast exactly I would rather have these longer duration so what I think I’m gonna do is I’m gonna add a piece of redstone to this one to increase the duration of them and they go for three minutes and I think

When you add this they go for six or eight minutes so it makes them way better if you want speed to run around long distances instead of me having to drink two potions I could just drink one and go slightly slower which is definitely better off for me there we go

So they do the last eight minutes now that’s how to make speed potions alright that’s keep goin straight on to the next one what should I make next ingredients2 I have I was gonna make the slowness potion but that’s last what don’t make kind of it’s Tokyo for

Healing potions I need those melons which I don’t have you just put a nether wart in the top and then what you do I need some more water bottles let’s do that while we’re at it I kept some here the fill up will go fill these up and while I’m thinking

Of some more potions yes so for the healing one anyway it’s exactly the same as the other ones guys except you need the glistering melon they’re up my inventories for bottle looks of it let’s go dump these ones off before we go get more did you do did you do put

Them in now put three in here and put some more in there and we’ll go grab those other potions and I filled up and throw it at the bottom of the water the next one I can make harming potions they also use fermented spider eyes so don’t

Know what I’m gonna do there I can’t make them either everything uses fermented spider eyes I definitely need to get some spider eyes before I can continue I think it’s at a nether Ward in here though see if I can brainstorm some more poison potions they use a

Spider eye as well so that’s ruled out the question because I don’t have spider eyes fire-resistance actually that uses magma cream we can make some of that by using a slime ball and blaze powder yep there we go there’s a piece of magma cream and if we come over here we’ll

Make one of these so there’s our awkward potions and if we add magma cream to it then that makes it fire resistance which is extremely useful guys fire resistance is absolutely beast because that’ll help us out in the nether we can swim through lava we can get hit by fire aspect

Swords anything and we’ll be hundred percent fine and you can actually adds glowstone dust dust the fire resistance potions you can only add redstone because there’s no point having extra fire resistance if you’ve already totally resistant against fire there’s hundred percent fire resistance guys 100 percent block at all so we’re gonna

Chuck a bit of redstone in there to make him last longer and we can’t actually add glowstone to that and there we go this will be our fire resistance extended potions I guess what else is there hmm I got the golden carrot so that’s for night vision or can we just

Hit up a night vision potion and then I’m gonna have to cut the video until I can kill some spiders and hopefully that’ll be able to help us out there see now we’ve got these last eight minutes eight minutes of fire resistance guys who wants to mess with someone with that

Type of powers no one I guarantee it they’re opie as possible guys alright how do you make the night vision pretty it’s an inner ward it’s an either or definitely and then I think it’s just a golden carrot I forgot it feels another ingredient but we’ll try it out anyway

Chuck the golden carrot on top of the awkward potion and I’m pretty sure it makes a night vision potion and then if you want to upgrade the night vision potion to an invisibility potion then you just need a actually we can make another one we’ll make two because I

Want to show off both of these potions let’s make another golden carrot alright so we’re at a golden carrot to this and this should make a night vision potion and we can add redstone to the night vision potion to make it last longer so I might actually make a couple of these

Because they’re really good for recording because when it’s dark in the game sometimes people watching YouTube can’t see it so it’s really good to have some night vision potion so I’m gonna make some of these there we go night vision potions chuck some redstone to make them extended did you wait for that

And then we’ll make another we’ll make another batch of them using these water bottles and we’ll turn them into invisibility potions which aren’t really useful for us but they are useful on PvP service I’m going to show you guys how to build them out of maker yep

There is our long night vision potions extremely good thank you very much add three of these in another netherwart and then we’ll put our golden carrot in and then after the golden carrot we need to add a fermented spider eye which I’m going to have to

Try and find and I believe that makes an invisibility potion so I actually became I thought I was prepared for this without the melon but actually spider eyes are so useful guys I don’t know why didn’t have any I should have been collecting them all this time and I

Shouldn’t have slept I should have left at nighttime so I could go and kill some spiders but don’t worry I’ll just cut the video wait till it’s nighttime kill some spiders I’ll be back to finish off this in villa invisibility potion all’s I have to do is add a fermented spider

Eye to it and then I’ll show you all the other potions that you need for mint and spider eyes alright so I’ll be right back guys to teach you the rest of the potions but and we’re back guys I’m just busy defending the village from an army

Of zombies here but I did kill some spiders and I have some spider eyes now’s I have to do is protect this town get a quick sleep in and we’ll go grab those brown mushrooms what is with this they’re literally everywhere I’ve been getting owned by these guys they weren’t

Here a second ago I went up the top then there’s a bunch of spiders I come back down there zombies of raid and everything up skeleton please let me sleep yes alright so as soon as we wake up we’ll go grab the brown mushrooms to mix with the spider eyes and that will

Give us fermented spider eyes and using them we can make the rest of the potions hopefully I don’t forget Annie I’ve pretty much covered every potion you can possibly make and I’m just gonna eat the carrots cuz I’ve got tons of them laying around and yeah hopefully I didn’t miss

Any if I did miss any I’ll probably update it with an annotation on the screen or you guys can tell me in the comments that’ll be good let me down here please we just need need these brown won’t believe one Brown mushroom will leave one guys I don’t want to use

Working on turning into invisible deep ocean so you have to actually make night vision potions before you can turn them into invisibility ones what you want to do with them now is you want to make the fermented spider eye things which was something like that yes and I

Think you can do it the other way around yep can you do it this way yep you can do whatever you want let’s do it this way to be different there we go fermented spider eyes so we can make three of them all right so I’ve

Got three potions to make for them I have to choose wisely to make sure I get all the good ones but there we go we chuck one in here and hopefully this should make an invisibility potion and then what we’ll probably want to do is chuck redstone on top invisibility to

Make it extended invisible potions and let’s think about I’ve got a spider I left to make the poison potion as well that’s good that worked out perfectly that’s good very good very good there we go potions of invisibility we’ll bump that up and just double-check

Yep so I’ll make a poison potion out of this spy tie which is just the nether wart than the spider eye and then I will make what else did I miss forgot what else I missed the weakness potions adjust despite I am pretty sure so we’ll

Try that out with one of the spider eyes and slowness was just the spider eye or fermented spider I added to the swiftness and so I’ve got some swiftness in here mm-hmm I don’t think I’ll ever need slowness potions oh so I might just I’ll show you

Guys how to make it but I won’t actually make it and I can’t make the harming or healing potions because I need melons so I think that’s pretty much it what else is there guys come on send your brain waves to me I need to work this out let’s let’s finish this

One off though open there we go eight-minute invisibility potions that’s dumped them in here I guess the next one we’ll try to make is the weakness potions let’s go water bottle water bottle water bottle and this is the only one I haven’t really made before but I’m

Pretty sure it is just a fermenter Sparta hi and that’s it that’ll give you a weakness potion I think it’s the only potion you can make without nether wart and I think last episode I just told you basically everything’s made out of nether board that’s because I don’t

Really use weakness potions even if you do make it and you hit any turn into a splash potion which I’m going to teach you at the end see look it gets rid of 0.5 attack damage I guess it’s alright but with these ones you can’t actually

Use them unless you add splash to it so we’re gonna increase it right but does whetstone do that I think it is I think redstone makes it the extended version even though it’s not really extended it’s meant to be more attack damage taken off we’ll see we’ll see if this

Works it should change it to a minus 1 attack damage if I was correct no it didn’t okay well anyway it bumped up the time to for four minutes weakness which is extremely good in PvP but you guys are probably looking at this I mean if I drink this potion that’ll give

Myself weakness what it’s the point of that it does absolutely nothing and you were correct guys but the thing I haven’t talked about yet is how to turn any potion into a splash potion the difference between a normal potion will drink this night vision at nighttime and

I’ll show you what a normal potion looks like and I’ll also show you what a splash potion looks like and to make a splash potion you just add gunpowder to any potion guys whatever potion you have made if you want to make it a splash

Potion so you can throw it and not have to drink it all you have to do is add gunpowder so this will go down and that’ll turn these weakness into splash weakness and then we could throw it against the ender dragon I guess I don’t know what we’re going to use this for

But there we go splash potion of weakness guys see how the splash potions look different to these I’m just gonna go ahead and throw a splash potion so you guys get the idea well throw it on one of these dudes and see all you have to do is look and it’ll

Go wherever the Middle’s facing man I don’t even know if it made him weak it looks like it did he’s got the potion effect so now and if this guy does happen to go macho man let’s try to bash someone up he will have weakness and he’ll have 0.5 attack damage taken

Off each attack and that’ll last 3 minutes so that’s alright I guess it might be a ride in PvP if you turn them into splash potions and to drink a potion we’re gonna wait till it gets a little bit darker you just hold right click like this see how it’s drinking it

Just like food but you go finish it alright what other potions were there to make um slowness the slowness potions out of the speed we can do that I don’t want to make too many slowness potions because I’ve only got one gunpowder yet left let’s go ahead and make it it’s just a

Fermented spider I on a speed potion turns it into a slowness potion and it all has some knowledge to it guys basically there’s the core ingredients and then after you have the core ingredients then varies either add fermented spider I to it to make it the opposite so turn speed into slowness you

Can turn health into damage you can turn night-vision into invisibility it basically opposites the potion if you add fermented spider eyes to it and then you can also add glowstone to increase the potency make them stronger or better and then you can add redstone to make a

Mast longer and then you can add gunpowder at the very end to turn them into a splash potion as simple as that guys that’s basically the core for every single potion you can make now I am sorry about the potions I didn’t have time to make today guys the only ones I

Didn’t cover a healing potions and harming potions and that’s it healing and harming potions because what you need to do is you need to put a nether wart in to make them awkward potions then you need to put a glistering melon which I don’t have and then after that

You can add the glowstone dust or you can add the splash the gunpowder to make it a splash and if you want to make it a harming potion instead of a healing potion you just add a fermented spider eye to the healing potion and it makes

It a harming potion simple as that guys pretty sure I covered all of them today hopefully you enjoyed it hopefully you learn something about potions and seriously guys potions are the key – winning minecraft I’m gonna be using all these potions I’m gonna be using night vision to help me record I’m gonna

Be using fire resistance when I’m in the nether so I don’t take any damage from blazes or catching on fire or lava I’m gonna be using the strength when I’m fighting all the bosses like the ender dragon and with a boss I’m going to be what else is I’m gonna be using

Everything throwing weakness on any of the big bosses I’m fighting I’m gonna be doing everything guys and I’m gonna be using speed potions just to run around I can actually grab some of them now and show you because I can show you that right now because I mean speed potions

Were so easy to make we were that I’ve got a couple on me oh no where’s the third one I don’t know what the third I turn that into a slowness denied yeah that’s right it’s a potion of slowness let’s rank for slowness one first and I’ll show you how

Much slower it makes me so here’s me running around normal and of course you wouldn’t drink slowness potion you would put gunpowder and turn into a splash but I’m gonna show you guys anyway for the sake of my tutorial let’s drink this up and it says here slowness for four minutes

Oh I’m sprinting now guys look how high that is and if I’m walking this is literally like well look how slow that is guys I’m not going anywhere at all if I hold sprint that’s how fast I go it’s like normal walking speed look at that

Class that is so bad let’s drink the swiftness potion and see if that does anything there so then add the speed on top of the slowness so now I’m like back to normal speed when I’m sprinting because I got 20% reduced from the slowness I think and I’ve got like 20%

From the speed so now I’m back to normal speed I’m pretty sure I’ll look I feel a bit slower maybe I’m 5% slower I’m not sure but I’ll 10% slower but you get the point guys speed gives you speed slowness gives you slowness hold right click to

Drink your potion and you should be all good I’ve really wanted to turn nighttime so we can get this night vision potion so I can show an example of that but hopefully you guys understood here to make all the potions I reckon I’m gonna wrap it up here while

I’m trying to buy my time other Sun Goes Down will dump all the post and stuff back in this chest like that and dump that we’ll keep that on us we’ll dump this well dump that will make another thingamajig another broening stand while we’re here I think it was

Just like this yep there we go to make another one of them will save this blaze would cuz blaze was extremely good but they are fairly easy now that I have it set up let’s chuck another one here there we go that’s good very good I can still open the chest

That’s very nice alright sorry today I covered weakness potions with a fermented spider I added to a a normal potion that is all you need you can add redstone to extend the duration of any potion you can add glowstone to increase the potency of any potion you can also

Add fermented spider eyes to do the opposite of whatever potion you made so healing potions can be turned into harming potions speed potions into slowness potions what else was there there was nod vision potions into invisibility potions or with the fermented spider eye the golden carrot makes the night vision the sugar makes

The swiftness the ghast here makes the regeneration the blaze powder makes the strength potions and I think I covered pretty much everything poison sponge I wanted to make a poison potion I don’t know did I forgot about that let’s do that that’s with the spider oh I forgot

If I made it will quickly go check well I still have the spider I did not make the poison potion guys sorry you guys must have been like what about the poison potion Heinz but I got this in the bag guys I don’t wanna make too many

Oh actually I forgot if it’s this off yeah it’s this after nether wart don’t be an herb hates I mean seriously come on so we need a nether wart Chuck that I’m only go to make sure I just want to quickly wrap up this tutorial so it’s

The nether Ward then the spider I that makes a poison potion and then you can add the redstone to make it longer the glowstone to make it more potent the what’s it called the Gunpowder to make it splash potion that’s pretty much it guys fire resistance is made with magma

Cream and yeah here we go that’s we’ve got some zombies we’re gonna drink up this night vision potion and take him out look how dark it is ready and when I drink this BAM everything lights up it actually looks a lot better in caves guys but nonetheless it’s a good example

For you guys let’s actually jump down into the cave with this once I grab this poison potion out there we go the two poisoned potions if you drink this you actually take damage over that amount of time so you would have to make it a splash potion to actually do any damage

But whatever that’s quickly going it looks like it’s daytime to be perfectly honest that’s what I like so much about it if this guy I just wanna really want on my swords dead oh I’m screwed let’s go down here see how it looks this should be perfectly dark but with a
