1.20 1.19.3 1.19.50 that one’s for Bedrock which one is which what’s actually in each update when can I play with if a square falls in a forest and nobody sees it is it still a rectangle and are these updates for Minecraft really any good dang that was super epic so Minecraft is Releasing snapshots for new updates pretty much every week and finally we’ve gotten to pre-releases for an update but wait it’s for 1.19.3 I thought they were on the big 1.20 update well the features you’ve been seeing YouTubers cover are actually split into two different updates for example the Vex redesign is For 1.19.3 but the camel design is for 1.20 so let’s sort this out let’s determine which feature is in which update so you know exactly what to expect with each release that might get old quick I’ll stop doing that oh what’s that what oh oh no oh no It’s coming closer oh no it’s gonna get me so let’s start with the simple features you may have heard about the spawn eggs for the Ender Dragon and the weather being available but they also have the Iron Golem and the Snow Golem too plus combine these with the fact That mob spawners start without a mob to find and you can find them in the creative inventory we’ve got some pretty cool Bob spawning capabilities that we didn’t have before these features are all coming earlier than the 1.20 update in the 1.19.3 update also on the 1.19.3 Side we have the new slash fill biome command which will allow you to change the biome of a defined region I haven’t actually tried this feature yet so let’s uh let’s see how well it works wow look at all these planes what if it was cold okay now it’s oh that’s that’s really Cool so then I also guess now if I set the weather to rain look it snows now oh my gosh we also have some new game rules which allow things like blockage you can read through these but the most important one our snow accumulation height and the lava source conversion One which is honestly pretty amazing let’s start with the snow accumulation one though if I go ahead and set this to like seven oh look you can already see it happening oh that’s so cool this is so weird to just have snow in the middle Of like the planes but hey this could be really nice for map makers I really like this also this is just really fun that you get to actually control these like finer features within the game I think it’s really neat that you can like yeah control the snow accumulation that’s so Cool if I also go ahead and turn the water source conversion game rule to false we can see here now if I make a nice little infinite water source it’s not infinite anymore in addition to that game roll we also have its counterpart with lava so now theoretically yeah it Fills up and it creates Source blocks that’s so cool I think the craziest and coolest thing to me is that you can actually make an infinite obsidian source with uh at least as long as this game roll is enabled of course this isn’t enabled by default the default Game rule will just be set to false so this won’t actually happen but this is so cool I guess this is a good use for water waterlogged leaves that was a random update that was added a while back and nobody ever used so here we go Here’s a great use case for it once again though only if this game rule is enabled this is just crazy to me though I I just this is so weird like I can’t I cannot oh it’s just so strange I just had an incredible and terrible idea I Need to build a giant box all right I have my Giant box and if you’ll notice over on this side we’ve got a wall that’s just full of lava and now I just make sure that this game rule is set to true and then I just paste this command all right This doesn’t work unless there’s another side of lava here we go here we go oh buddy this could be oh no oh no you can see it oh you can see it moving oh no hey man how’s it going what are your trades buddy what you got to oh no There’s a wall of lava hey guys I I regret to inform you but uh there might be there might be a problem you guys don’t really seem to care these guys might actually be spared the lava tidal waves coming over here oh no the horse The horse come on buddy I Need You To Be Tamed no quick come on go go go oh no oh no tape get tamed please yes it worked wait oh save save this save the horse oh my gosh foreign I can’t believe I actually did that I Definitely did not think that was gonna work oh my gosh well now we know what would happen uh so let’s go back yeah you might want to move cow okay you ready for this I’m just gonna lay lava out along this side here I missed the Spot there we go look at that that’s amazing it just converted all of it oh it’s so smart None of these things will be in the 1.20 update they’ll be in the 1.19.3 update instead the largest feature changes for 1.19.3 include the new player default skins as well as the new Vex redesign and this the creative inventory rework I mean look at this this is this is so Much better I think my favorite thing about this is that blocks can be in multiple tabs so for instance stone is here and stone is also here in the building blocks tab right there isn’t that crazy it’s just so much better formatted and when you’re looking for These you’re never going to click on the infested Stone accidentally again thank goodness you can expect all of these things here that I covered in the 1.19.3 update which actually comes out on December 6th as long as all things go well unfortunately the bundle is still Kind of in a limbo state but you can enable the data pack in the same way that you enable the 1.20 features speaking of which in order to actually be able to access the new 1.20 features you need to enable a specific data pack when you create the world as you can see Here update 1.20 and bundle then hit done then you can hit proceed it’s just saying use experimental load and then you can just create your world as normal obviously all these other things work the same and all that stuff but if you hit create new world you’ll get a little Warning and then just hit yes and then it worked I saw quite a bit of confusion in the comments section of one of my previous videos so uh that’s how you can try them out for yourself just make sure you’re on the most recent snapshot or pre-release of the game for the most Up-to-date features so now what does that data pack include quite a few things honestly first up we of course have the beautiful family of bamboo blocks it was one of the first things they showed off at Minecraft live and man do they look great look at this Texture I just love the green the green is so nice even though the regular bamboo blocks in like the strip bamboo blocks and the also the planks have had a couple changes in their design recently they’re still really really nice additions for Builders all the changes they made to these blocks were Really good changes so a big fan oh yeah you can also just uh uh how do I get out of here along with these bamboo blocks there’s a new boat called a raft it’s a little bit different from the main ones and I think that’s what I like most about it also we Have the bamboo hanging sign as well as all the other hanging signs which are uh they’re amazing that’s what I was trying to say 1.20 is also out of the new chiseled bookshelves which have also undergone a few changes originally the books have just gone down the line like This but uh now you can access each individual one that’s a very nice change it didn’t change any of the bass functionality with redstone but this does mean that people have done some pretty uh chaotic things with it the next feature added the 1.20 side here is The addition of the piglet head this is similar to the dragon head in the sense that when it’s powered it’s a little bit animated look at that look at the ears they’ve also added some new functionality with note blocks when you right click it with a mob head on top It’ll actually play the sound of that mob this of course can get uh a little chaotic a lot of people were suggesting that Mojang set the regular player head here to the old-timey oof sound effects from the earlier days of Minecraft but instead the Minecraft devs were like what if it could make Literally any sound you want and give it a sound field where you can add pretty much anything with a data pack that’ll be super handy for developers also really funny and finally of course we have the sniffer content none of it is in game yet this is all on a server called Origin Realms but this is all still planned to be in 1.20 along with the sniffer should come some ancient seeds that’ll have some cool new plants associated with them this of course is all because of the Minecraft mob vote that happened this year and the sniffer Came out on top so that guy belongs on this side of the wall as well then of course we already saw all of this content being added to bedrock but uh something we didn’t see in Java Edition is the addition of spectator mode and of course we already had it in Java Edition But check it out we also now have it in Bedrock the functionality isn’t quite perfect yet but it is working and you can clip through blocks and look around your world like you could on Java hopefully this isn’t the final implementation of this update but it’s pretty darn awesome that we’re seeing This in the Bedrock version of the game I mean seriously like this is something that Bedrock players have been asking for for a really really long time so it’s really cool that Mojang is listening and adding these things and there you have it here’s all the content You can expect in 1.19.3 and here’s all the content so far that you can get in 1.20 they’re still definitely planning on adding new things and hey there’s still rumors of things like archeology and maybe something having a do with the mega portal in the ancient city but like I said it’s all just rumors and it remains to be seen I’ll of course be watching these updates and I’ll give you some good analysis of everything as new features emerge in the meantime why don’t you check out one of my greatest videos to date where I may or may not Have already ruined the update Video Information
