Foreign it was just me alone in the house because my parents had gone out of town for a few days I thought it was going to be just a regular night you know but it turned into a real life horror story so it was around midnight when I decided to fire Up Minecraft on my computer I mean what better way to spend a spooky Halloween night right everything was quiet except for the occasional wind howling outside the game was getting intense and I was totally immersed but then out of nowhere I heard this creaking noise it was like someone was slowly opening The front door my heart started racing and I paused the game I was sure I was home alone so this couldn’t be happening I tiptoed to the living room and peeked around the corner that’s when I saw him a tall shadowy figure standing in the hallway I couldn’t make out his face but I knew something was seriously wrong I couldn’t move I was frozen in fear then he started to move towards me and I knew I had to do something I bolted back to my room and locked the door praying that it would hold I grabbed my phone And called 9-1-1 telling them someone had broken into my house my voice was trembling as I tried to explain what was happening they said they were sending police right away while I was on the phone I could hear the Intruder moving around the house it was like he was Searching for something I was terrified thinking that this might be the end for me finally I heard sirens in the distance and the Intruder must have heard them too because he started to panic I heard him crashing through the house trying to escape it wasn’t long before I heard the police Shouting and the scuffle that followed they arrested him and when they brought him out in cuffs I couldn’t believe my eyes it was all over the news the next day the guy they caught was a murderer who had been on the run for weeks he was Hiding out in our town and I had no idea I still can’t get over how close I came to something terrible that Halloween night me and my buddies Mike Sarah and Jake were having a sleepover at Mike’s place his parents were out of town so we had The whole house to ourselves we decided to play Minecraft on Mike’s gaming PC until the wee hours of the morning it was like midnight or something when things got creepy we were deep into building some crazy virtual Castle when suddenly the landline phone in the corner of the room started ringing we All jumped because who even uses landlines anymore right Jake picked up the phone and we could hear this weird deep breathing on the other end like heavy slow breaths we thought it might be one of our friends playing a prank but it didn’t sound like any of them Then this raspy voice said I see you we all froze and I grabbed the phone from Jake thinking someone was messing with us but the voice kept going saying stuff like I know what you’re doing and I’m watching you it felt like something out of a horror Movie then the creepiest part was when the caller said send me five hundred dollars or I’m coming up to your house right now we thought it was a sick joke but the way this person talked it didn’t sound like a joke at all we asked who are you why are you doing this But all we got was more heavy breathing and those Eerie threats we were scared out of our minds and Sarah was almost in tears we tried to trace the coal but we couldn’t figure out who it was the person on the other end just kept saying I’m getting closer and we could Hear footsteps on the phone it was like he was in the house with us but we knew he couldn’t be then just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse we heard the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs we were on the second floor and Mike’s parents room was Right next to us we were panicking and I yelled into the phone we’re calling the cops and then we heard a voice outside the door Whispering you better not the unknown caller shut off the phone and we could hear someone shuffling outside it was like a nightmare We locked the bedroom door and called 9-1-1 and they came pretty quickly they searched the house but there was no sign of anyone it was the scariest night of our lives and we couldn’t explain how someone could have known so much about us to this day we have no idea who that Caller was or how they knew we were playing Minecraft that night it still gives me chills just thinking about it foreign it was like midnight and I was just building my dream house in the game but man what happened in real life was way scarier so there I was all comfy in my Room headphones on totally lost in Minecraft I started hearing these like weird noises you know at first I thought it was just some in-game sound effects but these were different it sounded like footsteps shuffling and even Whispers I paused the game a couple of times thinking it was a glitch or something But nope the sounds were real my heart’s pounding at this point and I tried to play it cool on the stream telling my viewers I thought it was just some neighbor or something but deep down I knew it was something way creepier I even got up and checked the house but Everything seemed normal man I was freaked out as the stream went on the noises got louder and more unsettling I couldn’t focus on the game anymore it felt like someone was watching me like their eyes were right on me I kept glancing at my webcam but my room Looked empty it was just me in the game also I thought and then it happened one of my viewers with the username creepy Watcher started chatting saying stuff like I see you and you can’t hide it sent chills down my spine I thought it was just a troll trying to mess with Me but they knew stuff about my room like the color of my curtains and the posters on my wall it was messed up like they were watching me through my webcam I panicked shut down the stream and called the police while I was on the phone with them I heard a loud crash From downstairs I nearly screamed the police arrived real quick and we searched the house together guess what we found this creepy old man all dressed in black hiding in my closet he was holding a bag of my money and looked at us with this insane wide grin Turns out creepy Watcher was right there in my house watching me the whole time man that night still gives me the creeps I don’t know how that guy found me but it was like a real life horror movie now I always double check my doors and windows and I’m way more careful about Who I share my personal info with online so guys be careful out there you never know who’s watching especially during those spooky midnight streams
