Launching My Own Minecraft Server

What is up ladies and gentlemen this is I I I got a surprise for you so we actually are going to be running two different series on the channel we’ve got our Minecraft single player series and then this which is my oh dear God I thought that was a demon

Um this which is my Minecraft server it’s not publicly open or anything we’re just letting a limited amount of people in but you can see there’s quite a few people on right now um the goal with this series is going to be kind of similar you know right now we’re kind of

Just starting out so I got to really get my uh I I got to find a place to squat because everybody else is going all over the place and going crazy um I’ll kind of run through some of the base mods that I’ve got with you guys and for the

Most part this video is going to be me getting established on the server because otherwise i’ just been spending non-stop hours setting it up with your boy uh D or o Darren up there uh and I know everybody’s kind of got their their own places all set up and everything and

I’m almost dead and I’m starving to death and just yeah but um I’m really looking forward to this I’m hoping to do more multiplayer stuff this series is going to kind of adopt the same thing that I talked about in my single player Series where I’m going to do less Cuts

Equals more of course we’ll do more cuts the further we get into the game with the more monotonous gameplay uh but at the same time if I just happen to you know party with a bunch of people and stuff uh I’ll probably end up putting

That into its own like uh section in the video and stuff but anyways welcome message yeah so this is the Ronin Craft Server I came up with the name myself uh we’re using fabric we are using mods but it’s just uh quality of life stuff so we’ve got the proximity chat mod that’s

Going to make it a lot easier for me to just record and hang out and talk with people the world is in hard mode uh obviously we don’t want people to grief but mob griefing is on uh I also put the Plugin or data pack or whatever that has

Mob heads rarely drop and we can get player heads from killing each other um some optional mods that I’ve got is icons by players names in chat so it’s going to show their uh their character names and stuff uh and then Dynamic light which means if I have a torch in

My hand it’s going to emit light in the world uh we’ve got some light item sorting which for the most part is just going to be like being able to hold shift over everything and drop stuff around and it’s it’s very very nice and easy uh and then a nickname mod to

Change some people’s nicknames which yeah uh and then for the rules uh you know this doesn’t really matter too much to you guys but just so you know uh I’ve made it so that people don’t create vulgar stuff hopefully they don’t swear because I am going to be recording and

Then don’t grief others and stuff I might have to set up some other rules but um anyways let’s start the adventure so I got to try and get my hands on a bed that one that’s right there at spawn is like not super that that was like while

I was doing testing stuff man alive they these things are powerful okay and I’m going to eat raw meat because I don’t care oh God raw meat is terrible I’m critting you with my fist oh and then I guess I should mention too I’m using some uh vanity mods so I’ve

Got like the fresh animations um some stuff that makes like more particles we’ve also got some data packs that are basically going to make it so that leaves will Decay super quick uh and then I’m also using uh I’m using the whimee uh resource pack you guys let me know whether or not

You uh enjoy this resource pack I thought that I would use this as a way to differentiate it from the single player where in my single player world I’m just using vanilla uh but if it’s too intrusive or weird or whatever I could swap off of this pack for me

Myself it’s it is going to take a little bit of a learning curve cuz as you can see the crafting items and stuff like that like the the UI is obviously slightly different and I’m not used to it because I often am always looking at uh you know just looking at vanilla UI

Uh-oh the night cometh I may die uh let’s see if I can get things started here whoopsy Daisy let’s do this get some of that going get some of this crafting table action going uh let’s get some sticks here as well and then uh I desperately need like a starting sword even though

It’s going to suck uh I need a starting pick so that’s also going to be kind of helpful um and then we need an axe just got to get things all nice and set up and ready to rock because I am going to die like a lot I probably should just go

And get some Stone um oh right Joe ended up building this Among Us I don’t know where everybody actually is on the server um I know some people on the server are using like uh the map mods and stuff like that so they can you know

Just open up a map and see where everybody is and stuff I had decided against that because I feel like it takes away from the vanilla aspect of using a map and constructing them but I may put that mod in just because the quality of life aspect of that is very

Very nice obviously it looks like somebody else was here I’m doing it guys I’m doing things even though you already just saw me do all this in the single player now is this Village dead did people already kill everything here melons food beautiful I should steal some of these

For my own area but I don’t know where I’m going to settle all right thank God people are on the server can sleep beautiful so I’m you know we’re we’re kind of doing this like uh it’s like an honor System where we’re trying to set it up in such a way where

Everyone’s kind of trying to be respectful of one another and like in this case you know I’m glad to see not everybody ended up just instantly griefing all of this um and left all these melon seeds here so I’m going to leave them in case other people end up

Joining and hopefully it doesn’t eventually just get all stolen however I am I am going to steal this Bell uh because it’s my trophy and nobody can stop me I’m just going to eat raw chicken I don’t care I need to get an oven going and stuff like oh my God I

Don’t know where I’m not going to kill that cow I don’t know where like I’m going to set up dude like so far this is actually a very nice little area this texture pack makes things look beautiful if I do say so um but I’m wondering

Whether or not I should head out to the north because apparently there’s a bamboo forest over there looks like all of this has been looted yeah which is okay oh I should also where’s my other seeds my wheat seeds oh do I not have wheat seeds because uh

Uhuh cuz I need to get them from the grass well that’s okay let’s try and get our food situation a little more under control cuz uh that’s the biggest thing oh never mind there’s my wheat seeds Okay so let’s get these here you know just want to be want to be fair to

Anybody else that might end up uh you know we might end up bringing other people into the server and need to bring them here is there crap I really wanted to I really wanted like a a bed I could steal or something like that but that’s okay okay uh crafting table Bonk and

Then I don’t have enough Cobble yet I need more Cobble I need a spot that I can find Cobble but I need to uh build a shovel just so that I’m not wasting my time digging like a pleb in the sand oh my God I may have to also upgrade the server at

One point cuz it is kind of dying with this many people but uh my expectation is that you know right now this is kind of like day one this is hot right now so I’m expecting everything will kind of uh settle down and people will kind of fall

Into their grooves once um you know once once uh once they’ve played on the server for a little bit longer okay let me also get this going boop boop and I need a stick or a set of sticks let’s get a better pick because so help

Me I don’t want to be using that stupid godforsaken wooden one even though it all looks so appetizing with this uh resource pack again like I’m not against you know not using the resource pack that would basically be the only option though by the way guys is just do you

Prefer if it’s vanilla you know um um and I’ll just kind of see what happens if if I see any complaints and stuff like that then I’ll kind of Judge it uh but otherwise yeah I am slowly dying here so this is really bad let’s do some of these uh can

I I think I can shift click hold on okay I don’t know what that’s doing anyways I I don’t know all of the hotkey commands I’m just going to stay down here to stay safe for the time being um and then I also I need to make bread is it just

That like my resources are really really struggling but this was the biggest thing was just oh getting my food under control is that a sapling is that a sapling Acacia sapling dude that looks so good in this resource pack like beautiful the only reason I even saw

This resource pack and was like oh that looks cool is uh it I think it’s a rune craft one maybe I could be wrong but I like the simple mods that are simple resource packs that don’t really change too much you know what I mean anyways let’s start heading to the

Northlands and see if I can catch up to everybody uh but I do know everyone’s kind of like Get over here dude why do you bro why is it still so hard to like click on things in Minecraft Bro sugar cane I will steal that even though I just said I

Won’t die okay uh we’re doing good so far is that our sheepy sheepy yes it is I need to get a very sword so help me uh I just realized that I don’t actually have um I have black wool and now I’m getting white wool okay there’s

The other two sheep that I needed good so hopefully we won’t get caught out in the middle of the night just because everybody’s kind of around and uh you know going to be sleeping and stuff but I’m hoping that we can end up catching up to some people which would be

Was a lot further north so that’s nice but yeah I guess he’s not using the the chat mod I wonder if this is the inventory mod sorting everything but either way looks really man he’s he’s got him s set up a lot dang fell temporary home

Yes uh oh I see a bunch of I see animals over there too he’s got a farm setup and everything like what the heck I’m so far behind compared to everybody oh he’s got a big cave down there too whoa and a massive jungle all right I’m going to steal these

Eggies don’t tell them and then I guess I’m I’m going to head out and uh see if I can find something else oh there’s the bamboo forest okay okay I might squat there I mean I want the sakura trees above everything else but I have not messed with the

Bamboo blocks like at all and uh I know that they are very very good cuz it’s like a super easy way of getting like wood and stuff like that so we might actually make this our temporary home yeah yeah I think so I think so cuz this

Is going to be super duper easy for me to get my hands on these resources oh beautiful oh beautiful I mean unfortunately it does mean that I can be attacked from multiple angles but I don’t really care uh okay now the question is how does the bamboo

Work that’s sugar cane where’s my bamboo there it is do I have to convert it into a block uh do I have to do it at a crafting table and convert it to a full block yep okay ooh all right uh and then that can be converted into bamboo planks I

See oh it’s the pickle yo what up gamer where where is uh where is your house set up I don’t have one yet oh okay I’m kind of just going here because I never messed with the bamboo blocks and wood for days but I’m probably not sitting up here

Means okay so I can just do this to mass convert nice and then h a yeah that’s a decent amount okay that’s an easy way of getting wood uhoh the night cometh um can I oneshot these no I cannot I need to make like an actual good sword

Um there we go I hope somebody sleeps I like that I’m running into all of everybody kind of just casually I hope that this isn’t going to lag the server too much but but I’m going to I’m going to gather up a little bit and uh get things set up if I

Can so satisfying man oh uh oh my inventory is full that’s why okay um let me see here now I think it’s kind of coming along I can strip these right ah yes beautiful it’s it’s coming along it’s not there yet uh I don’t know what I’m going to do

For roofs and stuff like that but as as of right now like I’m just kind of trying to set up a baseline here oh I didn’t even notice Val must have given me a clock when he was here heck yeah dude I’ll take a

Clock okay I got to I got to get my uh inventory situated here because this is this is uh this is pretty bad uh I need I’m going to need my crafting table in here eventually as well okay I have a general idea of what I want to do with this

But I I’m okay with making like these tiny Windows cuz I don’t think I’m going to need to like look out or anything like that at the moment and it’s all about that easy use bro like I just want to make a tiny little house and never mind the rest

Okay now the real question is with this block of bamboo no I can’t make stairs okay uh H cuz I want bamboo stairs that are green but I guess uh I guess I don’t really have much of an option for that I mean I guess it works I don’t

Even know if I need a roof but this rain is really [Laughter] annoying like it just it doesn’t stop dude okay um you know what I can just do like super cheap cheesy little house I actually I should spawn proof it come to think of of

It yeah whatever I don’t care let’s just do it super duper simple like this cuz I don’t have uh I don’t think I even have light sources no I don’t so I need to cook and get some charcoal going get my crafting table in here as well it’s really tight it’s really tight

Um trap or pressure plate there we go let’s that’s actually really easy to make okay make two of those even though I’m going to be bumping into them all the time yeah I don’t know if I want to do that but whatever I’m going to do that

Anyway um so now I got a little bit of charcoal it’s not much but it’s it’s kind of enough cuz I’m going to need can this go into sticks yes it can that’s beautiful I’m going to need this I need some torches yes desperately um does normal wood turn into charcoal as

Well no it doesn’t Okay uh let’s put all these away in the meantime and I guess I’ll try and get to caving oh oh okay um where’s my stick let’s do this get a little guard while this rain is going on this might be a blessing why can’t I

Oh cuz it has to be the dirt okay uh cuz we’re going to have plenty plenty of wheat like a lot let me do this unfortunately this is kind of setting up the wheat like right at my main uh front path here and I don’t have a bucket so as

Soon as this rain goes away way these crops are going to die so I’m I’m assuming and hoping that I don’t need water source because of this I hope uh but we’ll see what happens right yeah and oh sugar can as well and I don’t have any water nearby

Okay here let’s rest for everybody and then I got to I got to head into some caves I got to get some starting gear like I’m very very far behind everybody uh I should also do can we do a frame I don’t know how to do a

Frame does that require a stick or something or a I don’t know okay uh I’m not going to need I can keep the melon sliced but I don’t need that also the rain did go away so that kind of sucks let’s also add a doorbell Beautiful put that away put our seeds away put our eggs away cuz I don’t have anything set up for that at the moment and then I’m just going to set up uh just a makeshift cave over here I guess unless I should try and find a

Cave maybe I should just yeah I should explore oh okay this is a mistake because I don’t really have a means of getting out of here but this is the weirdest this is the weirdest cave I’ve ever seen generated oh uh will this be enough I hope yeah good

I didn’t bring my crafting table like an idiot so let’s get this going so that I have some wood going on there we go um I should also make like ladders or something but n whatever that’s okay let’s just do this and hope for the best

So let me get my torch in my offand here getting out of here is going to kind of suck oh it’s an underwater cave well scratch that is this a desert or is this just a beach I think it’s just a beach dang it well there is a plains biome but so far

It’s all like there’s so much water around I guess jungle the jungle bottom could potentially have something like a temple but I think I’m going to get very unlucky and it’s not going to generate anything we’ll we’ll see let’s see if we can take a peak if there’s anything

Around doesn’t look like it man I really shouldn’t be in this jungle I should just find like a cave near spawn or something but at least there is cocoa seeds don’t know if they’re going to help me out that much but you never know whoa okay that’s cool uh I don’t know if

I have you think 22 blocks is going to be enough to get across here I don’t like this kind of sucks because unfortunately my bed is like way far back in the bamboo forest so you know what oh there’s bees around oh oh hello are you oh my God yes

Beautiful that’s one of the big things that we need right now is just getting coal uh ooh wait is that iron I don’t know in this texture pack I’m assuming that’s iron so that’s nice I’ll leave a torch there just so that other people know somebody is in this

Cave but but this one’s pretty close to home so this is nice uh I got to light it up so that mobs don’t sneak up behind me though there we go okay uh let’s also get some more torches going and I’m going to get to work oh I heard that

Skeleton oh I hear him dude oh I’m worried cuz skeletons mean serious business at the moment like they keep killing everybody on the server I I haven’t seen them kill anybody I just keep hearing about like how dangerous they are in hard mode oh boy I hear him he’s like up there so

Maybe there’s an arcave generated on top is he here dude I’m so scared I think he might be actually up on the surface but I don’t know it’s okay let me let me put this here just so I can keep track it is not night time yet so he’s

Probably he’s probably just underneath a tree so the Sun never killed him so that was a pretty nice hall for our coal uh didn’t really see much else in there that might be a cave that’s got torches up there that doesn’t yeah look at this there’s so much like underwater caving it’s

Nutty I need I need like aqua affinity or something bro so that I can so that I can actually go into these caves oh man pickle was killed by a Drowned rip okay please be a cave please be a good cave well at least there’s more coal which I will gladly take but I’m a little worried I’m going to try my best to light up caves too so that other people know like oh someone’s been here you

Know okay lots and lots of coal I’m seeing some gravel not seeing any mobs which I’m okay with there is so much freaking coal in here it’s actually nuts oh this might be the one boys oh yeah okay oh I didn’t even notice I got a chicken head Let’s go okay um unfortunately like I kind of need a lot of coal right but at the same time I guess you know what I can come back through here if I can find iron that would be very very very nice if we can find iron then we’ll be good

Otherwise we got a full stack of that so let’s start caving and let’s see hopefully I get lucky I should have brought my bed but I did not okay that looks like it keeps going might not this doesn’t keep going copper there’s no copper armor in this game so who

Cares okay that is three pieces of iron so that’s helpful cuz that means means I can uh at least make a pickaxe see this is why you always got to bring crafting tables with you when you go caving so that you can make your tools on the go the only thing that I’m

Desperately missing is I I should have brought my bed so that at least I could have had my respawn point you know would have been nice but at the very least we’ll be able to bump up to I turned all my sticks into torches oh my God all

Right well I’m an idiot can’t use this on Our lame all right uh yeah that sucks I need to go back to the surface but I want I want to see if this cave keeps going first before my pick breaks and it doesn’t okay so what I’m going to do is I’m going to make an iron pick and uh

I’m just going to go through this cave and gather all the resources and junk so a little behind the scenes for you guys um I actually stopped playing for a couple hours cuz I had to make dinner and everything like that for the wife uh I made this bridge across uh and a

Little marker our bamboo forest is somewhere in that direction I mean the only commitment I have to that area is I like the bamboo forest and I like that my bed is over there uh but otherwise I got a little bit of a temporary setup

Going on do I need to carry any of these with me nah I got torches um did I have more iron I did not okay this again I kind of suck anyways uh we’re still in the same cave but I was digging down here uh there was just a coal vein that

Kept on going and going and then suddenly bam I was inside this cave uh that’s a dead end I think but this keeps going yeah there we go so I wanted to explore this with you guys I want to I want to get into like the multiplayer

Stuff but at the same time like I want to actually get like I need to get geared up I need like some stuff and I feel like the caves near spawn are probably not going to be that great can I get a big cave to generate that would be awfully uh

Epic cuz so far this is just generic Minecraft cave like hello caves and cliffs update where are you cuz I don’t see it oh my God it just keeps going oh what is that oh that’s more copper okay uh I did see light over here which means

Lava do I want the copper I don’t know we still got a pretty decent amount of people on it seems whoa okay that’s dangerous uh hm oh that’s not lava jeez I’m not hearing any mobs thankfully whoa [Applause] wait okay suddenly it’s starting to make sense why uh all the good resources

Aren’t around here uh someone’s been here it looks like someone dug their way in here and then yeah cuz I didn’t make this dirt bridge I didn’t make this uh that Cobblestone is probably from lava as well crap a man okay well I guess at least well everybody

Else has the dynamic mod as well for the lighting so they probably went over here and checked all this stuff out that’s why there’s no torches around but yeah okay that sucks never mind there’s still at least something not much though I’m finding little bits and pieces of iron here and there

But ah crap not not really anything worthwhile unfortunately I think this cave is dead I mean I hear mobs somewhere but my pick is almost broken and I’m going to need the rest of my durability to get out of here cuz I didn’t come down here with a crafting

Table crap I mean eight iron whatever that’s something the problem is I’m not 100% sure how to get out of here that looks like there could be something maybe possibly okay never mind oh my God I thought I was so deep well I definitely have to make

Myself like a water bucket or something so that I can actually uh you know go into these uh Cave holes and junk like that but I’m kind of happy about that kind of happy that it’s a whoops an easy way to get out of out of here I I

Hope there we go okay so I got to I got to go and find my little cave there with all my storage thankfully this ugly bridge is over here and then um head back to home base woohoo how does the torch stay lit underwater though somebody tell me yeah it looks to

Me like a lot of the caves around here I guess they generated like underwater or something kind of sucks but oh well let’s not worry too much about that and uh instead I’m just I’m just trying to get home man oh is that who I think it is bro oh bro

A I thought you were AFK I was AFK uh my stupid cave to my computer when I finally see a chicken looking at me when I finally got down to the bottom of the stupid cave there was a bunch of torches there already oh you you’re probably connected

To my it’s probably connected to my cave or I no it was like way over there but it was just like oh that’s why there’s no good ore here or was it that way cuz that’s my cave over there no no it was way over in the

Jungle I’m assuming like Keen or someone jumped down a pond or a hole or something anyway I’m going to get some stuff from my base and then we can go chill or do something with others if you’re down yes cuz I need maths bad home sweet home you know what I

Realized this place is not well lit like at all so I better get on that before I start setting everything up uh well not that I’m like dedicated to staying here it’s just a nice biome temporarily cuz I like the bamboo give me give me give me give me

None of my crop screw okay I desperately need to get my hands on a barrel yeah okay uh let’s do this rock copper cuz who cares because I only got like 11 iron anyway um how do I I’m trying to figure out the Sorting mod I know there’s like

Different things we can do maybe it’s just tweaks to the inventory stuff uh let’s do this it’s so spacious I barely have any room okay uh bucket come on come on come on come on come on come on cuz I need water not only for my Forest but um or for this I

Mean but I just need to have water like on hand at all times cuz man alive and then uh I’m going to try and hit the others up and see if we can uh get an adventure going cuz uh I’m not getting lucky at all in terms

Of uh drops and items and whatever whatever else words now even though armor would be very useful I think tools are probably going to be the most important um oh do I not have any more wood where’s my wood there’s my wood cuz I uh misclick there I

Desperately need to get my hands on like some better gear I think an iron axe I can get away with this for now and I can even just use that as my weapon like obviously the sword is arguably better for dealing with a group of mobs but the

Ax will actually do some decent damage um and then maybe shears shears would be useful there goes all my iron oh ladders are actually easier to make than I thought they were I don’t know why I thought it was a complicated resource to to do there we go my chicken

Trophy you may only sleep at night well it’s almost night there we go okay you ready s for what yeah I’m down oh did your did your cows get out or something uh no I I’m just starting the cow Farm oh right you had chickens yeah I I made a I made an

Automatic chicken farm but it’s too slow for me yeah I know food’s a bit mainly the problem is that I’m not at spawn chunk so it’s like it’s not as efficient oh yeah and I’m always venturing out so I think uh I’ll I’ll look into it but

It might be a bit too much for the server but I think we can get spawn loaders or chunk loaders yeah but it’s also like this is also your temporary house too right I’m gonna so this is I mean you can always AFK Farm but I’m gonna build up there and

This is going to be my area this whole area oh okay okay hello Majestic White Horse tame it oh there’s a couple of them yeah how do you tame horses you just get on them right no no no no no need to keep yeah I think you
