Legundo – I Turned Minecraft Into D&D [100 Days]

Did you ever wonder how i build some of my mod packs the thoughts that goes through in turning minecraft into a desert or an ocean or a fantasy world like dungeons and dragons well i’m gonna tell you how i’m gonna show you how i built the magical modpack the galar

World which is the name of my dnd world i don’t know if anybody knew that i don’t even think i said it in the video but i’m going to show you how i built the mod pack why i chose the mods that i did and how to kind of make your own

Unique take on minecraft so let’s get started we get too much into it though i’m just gonna remind you all to subscribe to the channel because when i do that more of you do and also if you really enjoy what i’m doing here why not think about

Don’t even think i encountered a single one of these mobs oh wait no that’s where the skeleton riders came in so i definitely encountered a few of them but there are two core mobs for this entire playthrough first one is arkanis which you can see here and the second one is

End remastered this is what gave me so much of the overall adventure and we didn’t even cover all of it which in all honesty these two things basically defined the whole playthrough the idea that you can only slot one of each eye into the portal frame so it required going out

And exploring and being able to see all the different things that you could see in the world really made me explore far more than you would in any other 100 days play through usually you build a base and you just chill and you and you vibe

You make a little bit of a spot you maybe go find a stronghold and you farm up a couple eyes having to do all the different things right here this made me go explore the world which was awesome and making that easy were these wands and this

I never actually even used this display case but these wands are so cool i don’t have any spells right now these towers is kind of the best way to have earned all this magic these are mage towers which just kind of fits perfectly and it had always like pillagers and which why did

They not have eyes right there that’s that’s weird but inside these bookcases is where you’d find the books so solar strike and magic missile and magic missile again there’s actually one spell i never found in the actual thing which was arcane barrier i never i never found it

Was basically shield from d and i didn’t plan this i promise but being a lightroom and knowing the lunge spell is the only way that i was able to explore the world enough in 100 days to find everything i needed to i never even found one of these

This is a different kind of tavern that i just never found see there’s so much from all of these different mods that i barely scratched the surface on in only 100 days i wonder if i can i wonder if i can nail this hold on

Yes i nailed it next mod is the medieval weapons mod and that’s where we get the battle axe and the broad sword and daggers which are hidden behind my hand all these cool different weapons with different uses you can actually throw this one javelins are pretty brutal it’s basically a craftable

Trident but i primarily used a battle axe for a lot of the combat they do really well and the crafting recipes are relatively easy and it let you have something that was thematically a lot more unique than just a diamond sword in the corner you can see that in any

Playthrough this was much more on theme another thing that i really liked was these underground stronghold cities they were something really unique and i didn’t really play around much with them because of my background and the fact that these things made me really weak and in a really dangerous position but

If i ever played through this again with a different origin this is huge and a really cool unique approach to have a different kind of village it’s very dwarf fortress if you know that game you’re officially old just like me but but talking about a newer game

Minecraft dungeons there was a lot of really cool stuff in minecraft dungeons that was ported over to minecraft in a mod because of course you can spawn iron golems who are here to help and there act as allies you can bop them and they won’t kill you it’s just a free way to

Spawn golems a light feather allows you to dodge the iron hide amulet gives you resistance too for just a few seconds and this one will follow you i never found a lot of these but the ones i did find were pretty useful now let’s talk about the world that you were playing in

A normal vanilla minecraft world just would not cut it for something magical and mystical like this you need all these cool trees and the different structures and all these i love those cliffs over there two of the mods that i used to make this really work was traverse and overhauled over

World traverse adds a bunch of biomes similar to this one this is an autumnal woods you have those large trees over there as well those are also from traverse these cliffs and islands that you see also from the same mod now some people iskal might really hate the fact that

This is a diorite cliff but it’s kind of like salt cliffs that are being worn away from all sorts of water and rain and i really like when you see this in bigger scale you have diorite over there you have a big chunk of calcite over here as well

There’s something to be said for having a non-stone kind of biome have stone be in the minority as far as what you see around it would be hard to survive in but visually it looks amazing and while the overhauled over world doesn’t add new biomes it does make terrain generation

Like this just a little bit more realistic you have these little outcroppings and jutting out that will go over rivers rivers much more frequently go down into large cracks underneath and again i didn’t explore as much underground because a lightroom in my play through let’s just go into

Spectators so you can see this there is amazing underground terrain from the caves and cliffs back port mod which pulled caves and cliff’s terrain generation forward as well as overhauled overworld which just adds so much more this is what 1.18 is gonna look like and i’m so

Here for it it’s gonna be amazing oh and by the way everybody always asks what shaders i use i use complementary shaders for these mod packs usually every now and then i’ll use something if it’s more thematic powered by iris and sodium linked to those mods will be down

In the description because i can’t include those in the mod pack those are those are one offs and if i was investing that much into the overworld you know i was gonna make the nether look really cool too this is the better nether mod and i didn’t even find this biome in my

Playthrough this looks to be like a huge mushroom infested spore island this is so cool you have these huge bats which i think you can ride no this is that wasn’t one that you could ride and there’s repurposed structures as well this is a warped jungle temple

That you can find oh wow i i nailed that you can find in the overworld and that’s where you could also find nether eyes swords all sorts of other stuff this nethership though what a tease on this nether ship the fire rest potions back here is amazing

But not being able to put on these boots these amazing amazing boots feather falling 4 fire protection 4 soul speed 3 netherrite that would have been so good but no a lightroom there’s nothing they can do to stop me from wearing them in this video though all right a lot of

People were wondering in the video what is with the eye and what what’s supposed to be happening here well i installed a mod that i didn’t really get to use much in but it is in the mod pack and you could have a lot of fun with it this is

The bosses of mass destruction this let’s just go to survival so you can see this happen you break the eye with a nether right pickaxe and it spawns this nether gauntlet and this thing this thing will mess you up i’m just gonna show you real quick i am in full

Protection for armor i have a diamond bow what’s that oh okay yeah the punch is a little stronger than i was thinking so that’s fun here’s the beam though this beam will basically kill you in a few seconds if you’re not careful no no no no

There we go but the better versions of dimensions didn’t only happen in the nether in the overworld yep we made the end awesome as well first up the dragon fight itself these pillars look so much cooler than traditional pillars and i actually think i think i’m gonna kind of steal that

Idea uh for the hardcore world because they look amazing but flying out to the end just the amount of different things and different biomes and life and diversity in the end this is amazing this is what we could hope to see in a 1.20 update and way more some of these trees are

Obviously way too big but it works so this is a stone biome it’s like umber lift or something like that let me check yeah these glowing forests with the little jellyfish looking plants floating around and glowing and adding all sorts of life and then there was also the dark version

That blinded you if you stepped on the darkened kind of black goopy end stone which was ridiculous the dragon woods all of the spires that you see over here now this makes the ends absolutely magical and fantastical and i i really hope we see something like

This in 1.20 or beyond now for some fun stuff just some small details that made it look interesting we had the way stones obviously which was a great way to have cities have names villagers also had names auto-generated on top of all of them which was really cool of course also having different

Types of villages is really great and those advancement pop-ups that you see at the top of the screen much more medieval much more fantastical really works the guild masters let’s see one of you doesn’t have a job why do none of them have eyes that is so weird sometimes sometimes modding minecraft

Can be strained oh they have eyes again thank goodness sometimes turn it off and turn it back on again that works wonders well let’s talk about just some of the fun stuff that i added to make it a little bit more fleshed out the guilds were really cool being able to just pick

Up and join and take quests basically you could get all sorts of stuff here it worked wonderfully i didn’t know just clicking it would mean that you would abandon the profession so that cost me xamarin emeralds that was unfortunate one thing i really loved though was being able to just put a pickaxe

And different tools on your back look at that one on your back one on your hip that was awesome because i could just have one slot for tools basically and oh i need a pickaxe oh i need an axe oh i need a pickaxe oh i need a shovel if i

Add all three but being able to just store those away visually really fits the vibe and just ah i love it the last mod that i added just to make the video look good that i don’t think anybody would even notice but it was so subtle is this nice little blur effect

That you get when the inventory is open it just just makes it so that the thing you’re looking at stands out it’s quite nice and finally since we’re in a different reality the outvoted mod was the next one that i added this spawned those gluttons where if you step

On top of them they come up and they nip at you and one of these actually helped in the nether fight in the sorry in the uh the raid so those are really cool we also had the in i found out they’re called infernos they’re like gigablazes that spawned in

They caused a lot of damage and then the last one was the barnacle which this is the thing that attacked me underwater at one point that is legitimately terrifying and there was more mods that i didn’t even get to really play with at all in the modpack

Stuff that was really late game or required more armor than my background would really allow me to have so like the bosses of mass destruction there’s also other wandering random mobs that i just never happened to come across some of those you’ll see in a future video

Some of them you won’t because each mod pack is different so that’s how i turned minecraft into dungeons and dragons spells monsters quests adventures and an interesting world to run around in i hope you all enjoyed it i hope you all like the mod pack link is now down in
